“Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:13).
To be spiritually sober is to be alert and able to successfully fend off Satan’s attacks. By keeping our minds focused on God’s Word and speaking it aloud daily, we protect our minds and spirits.
