When Compromise Creeps In
Sin has a way of pulling us further than we planned, but no believer is beyond the reach of God's grace.
There are many sins that we know to avoid—murder, adultery, stealing—but others can quietly creep into our life almost unnoticed. One of the most subtle is compromise.
King Solomon is a cautionary example. God gave him extraordinary wisdom and entrusted him with building the temple. Yet over time, Solomon’s heart drifted. He followed his own desires, married foreign women, and was gradually drawn into idolatry. It wasn’t a sudden fall but a gradual drift, one small choice at a time (1 Kings 11:3-4).
