Bowie State Men’s and Women’s Basketball on the Road at Virginia Union Saturday

BOWIE, Md. — The Bowie State men's and women's basketball teams will return to action on Saturday, Feb.11 in Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) doubleheader versus Virginia Union at Barco-Stevens Hall.
 
Tip-off for the men's game is at 12 noon on national television (BCSBN), followed by the women's game at 3 p.m. on the CIAA Sports Network.
 
Last Outing
The Bulldogs (13-9, 9-4 CIAA) got back into the win column with a 61-51 win over Elizabeth City State Thursday night. The win put the BSU women's team back in the race for first place in the Northern Division, tying with Lincoln (PA) at 5-2 against North opponents.
 
As for men's hoops, the Bulldogs suffered a tough 65-63 setback to the Vikings in A.C. Jordan Arena during the nightcap. Bowie State (6-19, 4-9 CIAA) dips to sixth place in the North with a record of 2-5 against Northern Division opponents.
 

How to Watch
The men's game between Bowie State and Virginia Union (19-6, 9-4 CIAA, 6-1 North) will be nationally televised on the CW Network through Black College Sports Broadcasting Network (BCSBN). This will be Bowie State's fourth game on the network this season. Bowie State women's hoops contest against VUU (12-13, 4-9 CIAA, 1-6 North) will air live on the CIAA Sports Network.
