Command Enhancement Program with Ron Wolforth

You’ll throw more strikes, with more confidence, in only 21 days. Here’s why command is important. A normal strike can be a fastball up in the zone that the hitter barely misses; you got lucky. But a good strike can be a ball tailing inside that jams him; he had no chance. See the difference? When you’ve got command, you throw good strikes. Discover how to execute your pitches when you want, every time. Because when you can locate your pitches, all kinds of good things happen. You can hit your spots … go deeper into games … and get more wins. The drills and techniques in this online video course and manual make it happen for you. Having this program like having Coach Wolforth sitting next to you on the bench between innings, giving more confidence and better execution. It’s a “must have” for your video success library.
Ron R. Wolforth is the founder and CEO of Pitching Central and Ron Wolforth’s Texas Baseball Ranch in Montgomery, Texas. Coach Wolforth has written 5 books on pitching, the latest being his national best-seller The New Athletic Pitcher™. Since 2003, 64 of Coach Wolforth’s clients have been drafted, including the 2011 Golden Spikes Award winner and #3 overall pick, Trevor Bauer of the Arizona Diamondbacks. In that same time period, 114 of Coach Wolforth’s pitchers have broken the 90mph barrier. He is considered the world’s leading expert on the objective measurement of pitcher’s performance and movement patterns. No one in the world today has developed more 90 mph arms in a single location since 2003. Coach Wolforth has consulted for 3 MLB organizations and dozens of NCAA programs. He is a regular featured author in Collegiate Baseball and has been a featured speaker at the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) National Convention five times since 1999 as well as a presenter at the American Sports Medicine Institute’s Injuries in Baseball Annual Conference. Coach Wolforth has also been utilized by Corporate Organizations such as AXA Equitable Life as a motivational coach for their branch managers, mentoring them on how to improve performance and contributions from their team members. His 20 year passion for uncovering possible constraints and limitations to baseball performance as well as identifying the keys to accelerated growth and development stems from the fact that he was very dissatisfied with the level of his own performance as a college player and vowed to help other athletes avoid his mistakes and instead maximize their God-given potential. Hundreds of elite athletes from all over the world come to Montgomery, TX to work with Coach Wolforth. Some of his clients include Trevor Bauer, Scott Kazmir, Raul Ibanez and CJ Wilson. While Coach Wolforth’s playing career offered few superlatives, his academic career was quite a different matter. He was named both the Physical Education and the Secondary Education student of the year at Sam Houston State University in 1983. Coach Wolforth is considered a master teacher by many in the baseball community and he has been referred to as ‘America’s Pitching Coach’ because of his practical, self-effacing and innovative approach to common performance issues.

The 9 Fun Practice Games Your Kids will Love!

Over the 38+ years of coaching baseball, all the baseball drills I used and all of the practice templates I have created, as well as camps and coaching different levels and ages of kids, I have learned some valuable things about how to run a baseball team.
I want my players to smile and have fun!
Youth Baseball Practice has to engage kids while helping them learn the game step by step. We encourage all youth baseball coaches to implement fun game in their practices that teach the kids how to compete, learn the parts of the game, and get them wanting to come back to practice!
So below are some “MUST DOs” and some fun games for baseball practice.
--Fun games MUST always incorporate fundamental drill techniques. Otherwise it is a waste of time for players and the coaches.
--Coaches should change their expectations slightly on a player by player basis depending on skill and ability.
--The younger the team, the more games there MUST be at practice (but make sure #1 is met).
--For older kids (13 years old +), incorporate games before and/or after the scheduled baseball drills – Kids are never too old for games! Just modify the priority of it in practice.
--Coaches should change out fun games each practice to keep kids engaged and practice different.
Here are the games included in this package:
Hockey
Outfield Throwing Game
Hit the Hat
Beat the Staff
Relay Race
1st to 3rd Game
PIG
Pitcher Covering First
Ground Ball Game

Pro athletes benefit from chiropractic care
By: Dr Ross Carter

Many American Pro athletes look at getting a Chiropractor's help in coping with the rigorous physical demands of their various sports. Professional golfers have access to Chiropractors during their tournaments, and many Pro football players are known to take Chiropractic assistance after strenuous games. Baseball teams have also started giving their players the much needed Chiropractic help.

In the previous year, baseball teams like the Boston Red Sox (World champions) and the Philadelphia Phillies have employed the services of Chiropractors to help their players perform well and remain in top notch condition. Clubs in the major league have to play 162 games as part of the schedule, and this includes a fair amount of travelling as well. Typical baseball seasons begin in late Feb and go on till early Oct. Teams looking at Playoffs or the World series have to push till late Oct.

The players of the Boston Red Sox can be seen with their Chiropractor, Michael Weinman, D.C, for 3 to 4 hours before they start their home games. He says that players can stay away from bothersome injuries and also perform at optimum levels when their muscles, joints, as well as nerves, are all in top condition. He also says that adjustments made by a Chiropractor can also better one's overall physical health and thereby result in excellent performances.

Injuries that are common in baseball players include mid & low back injury, neck injury, rotator-cuff injury, and also hamstring injury. Hamstring related problems normally start because of players having to suddenly leap into action fast from a standing position while making their plays.

Most of Dr. Weinman's work involves helping thwart inflammations, breaking up adhesions, and adjusting various joints to enhance mobility. He, along with his trainers, physical therapists, and massage therapists look to have had a good effect on the team, as they won against the Colorado Rookies in four straight games, to win the World Series.

The Phillies are now to have a Chiropractors network in all the cities where they are scheduled to play their games (home and away). The first player in the team who requested the presence of Chiropractors was the pitcher, Cole Hammels. He is of the opinion that he missed out on games in 2007 (being on the disabled list) because he did not get Chiropractic assistance for his elbow strain.

Hamels also said that he was very happy with the knowledge that the team was making efforts to ensure that they get Chiropractic assistance while they are paying in different cities. Other players in the team are also likely to take the assistance of the Chiropractors in coping with the adjusting extremities. He added that owing to consulting a Chiropractor he has surely benefited, and that it was great that the team was going out of their way to provide the players with this assistance. According to Hamels, the team could very well get to be a 20 game winner in this season, thanks to the Chiropractic services that are now available to all the players of the team.

Dr. Carter specializes in natural pain relief and he helps Gwinnett County citizens with back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headache, fibromyalgia, carpel tunnel, nutrition, weight loss, and more here in Lawrenceville, GA.
