WEIGHT LOSS COFFEE - How Many Hours of Sleep?

Lean Trim Diana Here!

Here is just some information I found about sleep.

Researchers have shown after people sleep, they tend to retain information and perform better on memory tasks. Our bodies require long periods of sleep in order to restore and rejuvenate, to grow muscle, repair tissue, and synthesize hormones.

Sleep deprivation affects mood, leading to irritability; problems with relationships, especially for children and teenagers; and depression. ... Research shows not getting enough sleep, or getting poor-quality sleep, increases the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, and diabetes.

Consistently getting seven to eight hours of sleep per night is beneficial. Any more or less can increase your risk for serious conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and even death. Getting enough quality sleep is also key to a healthy lifestyle.

If you continue to operate without enough sleepyou may see more long-term and serious health problems. Some of the most serious potential problems associated with chronic sleep deprivation are high blood pressure, diabetes, heart attack, heart failure or stroke.

When you don't sleep enough, your cortisol levels rise. This is the stress hormone that is frequently associated with fat gain. Cortisol also activates reward centers in your brain that make you want food. At the same time, the loss of sleep causes your body to produce more ghrelin.

And finally,
Within just four days of sleep deprivation, your body’s ability to properly use insulin (the master storage hormone) becomes completely disrupted. In fact, the University of Chicago researchers found that insulin sensitivity dropped by more than 30 percent.
Here's why that's bad: When your insulin is functioning well, fat cells remove fatty acids and lipids from your blood stream and prevent storage. When you become more insulin resistant, fats (lipids) circulate in your blood and pump out more insulin. Eventually this excess insulin ends up storing fat in all the wrong places, such as tissues like your liver. And this is exactly how you become fat and suffer from diseases like diabetes.
So get enough sleep and wake up to a great cup of our coffee  www.leantrimcoffee.info

VALENTUS WEIGHT LOSS COFFEE - What's in it that Makes it Work?

    Lean Trim Diana Here:)

Yesterday, I posted pics of my weight loss and Sue's results. So you ask, what makes this coffee so special that SlimRoast can help people lose weight?  First, our coffee is Organic and non GMO, with no fillers and much more. I like to talk about L-Theanine because it is amazing and I love what it does! Won't store all fat you eat, won't resist weight loss, won't give you increased feelings of hunger! Now, that's what I'm talking about! Our weight loss coffee is having such an impact on people that they are becoming distributors and helping people get healthy.  Check out the cost comparison below:)  More ingredients tomorrow. Product Info

Here are just a few of the ingredients and their purpose in our coffee:
    Cacao
Organic, raw cacao is a superfood containing a variety of unique phytonutrients, including high amounts of sulfur, magnesium and phenylethylamine. These characteristics provide many benefits, such as focus and alertness, while also keeping you in a great mood. These properties help in the reduction of stress and also increase the sensation of fullness, reducing hunger and cravings. Cacao contains MAO (monoamine oxidase enzyme inhibitor) which is able to reduce appetite by increasing serotonin and other neurotransmitters in the brain that help to decrease appetite and hunger.

    Phaseolamin
This ingredient combines with an enzyme in the body called alpha-amylase – which is involved in the digestion of starch – and helps to temporarily block its activities. Alpha-amylase is secreted in saliva and is produced in the pancreas, and is responsible for breaking down starch into simple sugars, which can then be absorbed in the small intestine. Blocking this digestive enzyme prevents the digestion of carbohydrates, which means they are able to pass largely undigested through the gastrointestinal tract. The end result is a decrease in the number of calories absorbed, thereby helping to promote weight loss.

    L-Theanine
Theanine is an amino acid found in green tea, and is probably the reason why drinking green tea help in weight loss. Studies have found that weight gain is prevalent in people who are emotionally stressed. This is a biological response of our metabolism and leads to cravings and overconsumption of food. When stressed, we produce increasing amounts of a hormone called cortisol. This is a natural response that is intended to help in survival, which as a consequence also leads to increased fat storage. Theanine neutralizes stress, by reducing anxiety and improving the quality of sleep. It does this by increasing the alpha waves in your brain, which relaxes the mind.

With these problems removed now your body:
    ·    Won't store all the fat you eat
    ·    Won't resist weight loss
    ·    Won't give you increased feelings of hunger

Doze Control: Eat Right and You'll Sleep Like a Baby

    Good Day Athletes and Warriors!
Today's guest article may be one of the most important that I will ever send to you. Sleep is one of the most underrated aspects of a complete fitness program, but in order for the benefits of you healthy lifestyle to show from the inside out; it is critical to get a handle on 'Beddy Bye' time.
    -Nate

Doze Control: Eat Right and You'll Sleep Like a Baby
By Elizabeth Somer, M.A., R.D.) - Do you toss and turn during the night instead of sleeping soundly? If so, your battle with insomnia might start at the dining table, not in the bedroom.

A cup of coffee or tea or a glass of cola are quick pick-me-ups that might undermine your sleep. Even small amounts of caffeine (like the amount in a chocolate doughnut) can affect your sleep, especially if you are sensitive to caffeine. Try eliminating all caffeine-containing beverages. If you feel and sleep better after two weeks of being caffeine-free, then avoid caffeine permanently. You can try adding back one or two cups after the two-week trial, but cut back if sleep problems reappear.
Image result for Sexy woman sleeping
As for alcohol, a nightcap might make you sleepy at first, but in the end you'll sleep less soundly and wake up more tired. Alcohol and other depressants suppress a phase of sleeping called REM (rapid eye movement) during which most of your dreaming occurs. Less REM is associated with more night awakenings and restless sleep. One glass of wine with dinner probably won't hurt, but avoid drinking any alcohol within two hours of bedtime. And never mix alcohol with sleeping pills!

    Sleep-Friendly Table Tactics

Big dinners make you temporarily drowsy but prolong digestion, which interferes with a good night's sleep. It's best to eat your biggest meal before midafternoon and have a light evening meal of 500 calories or less. Include some chicken, extra-lean meat or fish at dinner to help curb middle-of-the-night snack attacks.

Spicy foods can contribute to sleep problems: Dishes seasoned with garlic, chilies, cayenne or other hot spices can cause nagging heartburn or indigestion. Avoid spicy foods at dinner. Gas-forming foods and hurried eating also cause abdominal discomfort, which in turn interferes with sound sleep. Limit your intake of gas-forming foods to the morning hours, and thoroughly chew food to avoid gulping air.

Bedtime Snacks: a Great Alternative to Sleeping Pills

A high-carbohydrate snack, such as crackers and fruit or toast and jam, triggers the release of a brain chemical called serotonin, which aids sleep. And although the traditional glass of warm milk, a protein-rich beverage, probably doesn't affect serotonin levels, the warm liquid soothes and relaxes you and makes you feel full, which might help facilitate sleep.

A new product on the market called 5-Hydroxy-L-tryptophan, or 5-HTP, is touted as a building block for serotonin, which is a mood elevator, brain stimulant and sleep enhancer. However, since its safety is questionable and no optimal dose has been established, you're better off raising serotonin levels naturally with high-carbohydrate snacks.

    Curbing the Midnight Snack Attack

Do you awaken in the middle of the night, unable to fall back to sleep unless you eat something? These midnight snack cravings may be triggered by hunger, or they may just be habit. In either case, your best bet is to break the cycle. Try eating more during the day, and stop rewarding your stomach by feeding it every time it wakes you up. Instead, read a book, drink a glass of water or ignore the craving. It takes up to two weeks to break a midnight snack habit.

    Exercising to Relieve Stress

Stress is a common cause of insomnia. Often, relieving tensions and anxieties eliminates sleep problems. One tension reliever is exercise. In a study from Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA, healthy adults with mild sleep problems who exercised twice a week for at least 40 minutes per session fell asleep faster and slept about 45 minutes longer than people who didn't exercise. Physical activity also helps you cope with daily stress and tires the body so it is ready to sleep at night. Vigorous exercise should be done no closer to bedtime than six hours; mild exercise should be done no closer to bedtime than four hours.

In short, sleeping pills are a temporary fix, but a few simple dietary and lifestyle changes could do wonders for your long-term snooze control.

    (Embarrassing) her pants fell off

Recently I did a little fat loss experiment with a few of my clients and something REALLY EMBARISSING happened to one of them.

She was using both hands to carry a hot casserole dish to her car when she felt her jeans begin to slip off.

Since both of her hands were holding the heavy casserole dish, all she could do was hope to make it to her car before her pants fell off.

Whelp, she DIDN'T make it and had to waddle to her car the last five feet with her pants around her ankles before she could set the hot dish down and pull them back up.

    Luckily, no one saw.

    But it WASN'T HER FAULT.

The most Underrated Factor In Fitness..

Did you know that with regular comprehensive exercise programs like those found on the US Sports Online Strength and Conditioning System; it is during sleep that the body breaks down excess body fats to be used by the muscles for the next workout. In essence you can train your body to burn fat while you sleep! That is provided you get enough sleep. Below are some tips to help you sleep better:
    Tips for Good Sleep
(AP) - Having trouble getting to sleep at night, or awakening too early in the morning? Experts have these tips, based, in part, on a new study:
    • Maintain a regular sleep-wake cycle, even on weekends. Staying up late, with the lights burning, tends to reset the brain's sleep clock, making the body cry out for more sleep when the alarm sounds Monday morning.
    • If awakened during the night, try to remain in bed, with the lights out and your eyes closed. This will help sleep return and will not affect your normal sleep-wake cycle.
    • If you must get up, keep the lights as dim as possible. Bright lights tend to reset the brain's sleep clock. One hour of bright light exposure at night shifts the clock forward by about 10 minutes.
    • Avoid alcohol, tobacco and caffeine before bedtime.
    • If sleeplessness is caused by a disorder, treat that disorder specifically instead of trying to force sleep with pills.
    • Afternoon or early evening naps may make it harder to fall asleep at the regular time.
    • American travelers who fly overnight to Europe should try to nap immediately upon arrival. After a few hours of sleep, get up and walk in the sunlight. This will help reset the body clock to European time.

Warm Socks May Help You Sleep

(MSNBC, September 1 1999)  Wearing socks to bed may not excite your partner, but it just might help you fall asleep. A researcher says people with chronically cold feet and hands might drift off faster if they warm their feet with socks or a hot water bottle, and maybe even wear mittens.
Scientists at Switzerland's Chronobiology and Sleep Laboratory, at the Psychiatric University Clinic, said Wednesday that warm feet and hands induce sleep quickly. The heat from mittens and socks dilates blood vessels that help to redistribute body heat. This together with the release of hormones like melatonin, which helps control the sleeping cycle, is part of the sleep routine.
Most people go through the process naturally and wouldn't need socks or a water bottle to help them sleep. The key step to opening the gates of sleep is that your feet and hands get hot and you lose heat to the outside. That has to happen before you go to sleep, said Anna Wirz-Justice, who led the Swiss research.
People who go to bed with cold feet will have a much more difficult time than those who help themselves with hot water bottles and bed socks, but they have to have a cool bedroom or they won't be able to lose the heat to the outside. That's the key mixture. The release of heat is one of many steps in the body that lead to sleep. The body clock must be at the right time and melatonin must be rising.
Wirz-Justice and colleagues didn't directly test whether socks or water bottles promote sleep. But they did analyze data from 18 healthy young men who participated in sleep studies. The results suggest that blood vessel dilation in the hands and feet in late evening, and resulting heat loss, are key to falling asleep.
According to a letter to the science journal Nature, the researchers measured blood flow and heat loss and timed how long it took a group of healthy young men to fall asleep. The men were given melatonin, heavy meals and exposed to bright lights to see how it would influence sleep. The researchers found that the more the blood vessels were dilated in the late evening, the shorter it took to fall asleep.
The Associated Press and Reuters contributed to this report.
