Footage shows a white police officer kneeling on an unarmed and handcuffed black man's neck who pleads: "I can't breathe".
Nate's note: At least part of the problem with this cop is a lack of discernment of knowing when he has a suspect under physical control. He could have easily kept him restrained without this what turned out to be lethal form of restraint. Again, this is why we all must be tactically trained properly.
George Floyd begged for air as the cop held him for several minutes by the back wheel of a police car after he was detained in Minneapolis.
In the video - which was originally posted to Facebook by Darnella Frazier - unarmed Mr Floyd says that he cannot breathe multiple times.
The ten-minute video has been cut short, as scenes were too distressing to show in full.
“I cannot breathe! I cannot breathe!” the man yells. “Don’t kill me!”
The incident took place approximately 8pm on Monday after cops were called about a man using a forged document.
His death comes as America is reeling from the death of Ahmaud Arbery, a black man who was shot dead while out jogging in Georgia.
Three white men, including a former police officer and his son have been charged with his murder.
Demonstrators took to the streets where Mr Floyd died, with some chanting and carrying banners that read "I can't breathe", as they marched towards a police station, where windows and a patrol car were damaged and graffiti was sprayed on the building.
A line of riot police eventually confronted them, firing tear gas and projectiles, which protesters kicked back towards them.
The Difference Between a Business Coach, a Mentor and a Consultant
Author
Susan Friesen
Find Your Perfect Fit for Professional Development Whether you want to expand your small business to another country,
kick start your career as an entrepreneur or hone your marketing skills,
you may be looking for some outside support. If you look at top business achievers, you will find one common denominator: They didn’t do it all alone. High performing entrepreneurs and small business owners know that if
they want to truly excel, they need guidance and support. But what’s
best for your professional development? A coach? A mentor? A consultant?
How do you even begin to choose!
Let’s look more closely at your professional development options:
Working with a mentor.
You’re getting someone who’s already walked in your shoes. They are
experienced in your field and can help fast-track you along your growth
path. They can offer guidance, friendship and support; there is usually a
level of personal connection as they serve as a role model to help an
individual reach their potential. This can be super valuable, because it saves you from having to go
through a steep learning curve and make a bunch of mistakes along the
way. Some of the advantages include: Getting an outside perspective. Often we are too close and emotionally tied to our business to see
what’s truly happening. It can be beneficial to get a bird’s-eye view of
your situation. Often, we’re too in love with our work to really know
about areas that need a little work. Your mentor will probe to uncover
some problem issues that may not be instantly apparent to you. Enabling you to reach higher. Sometimes we do things for other people that we wouldn’t do for
ourselves. When you have the accountability of a mentor, you may push
harder to reach your goals. Because you know that you have to report
your results during your mentorship, it can make you go the extra mile. Gaining business experience. Even if you have years of corporate experience, running your own
business is a new challenge. You probably know a lot about your
industry, but you may not know enough about running and growing a
business. When you hire someone with experience in creating systems, marketing,
delegating and growing a business, it helps you avoid costly mistakes
and grow farther, faster. And they often have proven blueprints and
templates to boost your results. Being your cheerleader. You probably know that being a business owner can be a roller
coaster! Some days you’re on top of the world, and other days you doubt
yourself. Maybe you wonder if you should throw in the towel because
everything seems to be going wrong. A mentorship can help you stay
positive and motivated, so you can keep your business moving forward.
Working with a coach.
A coach takes a slightly different approach. He or she serves as an
expert guiding you in a very specific area of performance. If you Google
"coach" you’ll see results for performance, marketing, financial
support, sales, business growth, social media support and more. A business coach is trained to help you figure out your roadblocks,
holds you accountable for your business success and shares their
tried-and-true experiences and processes to help you get ahead in your
business. However, it’s important to note that many coaches are self-appointed
experts. They may present themselves as highly successful and
knowledgeable, but many could just be one step ahead of you. While they
may "talk the talk", you don’t really know if they have the skills or
experience to help you succeed. One of our clients offers Leadership Coaching to uncover people’s
hidden and natural talents and assess individual skills, capabilities,
and/or behaviors that impact them positively and negatively. This helps
her clients understand the actions they need to take to move in the
right direction to get what they want. Working with a business coach can help you in many of the same ways a
mentorship can, but they’re less of a "friend" and more of a "guide." • Hear more objective opinions • Increase your networking opportunities. • Lead more strategically • Develop your personality and leadership style • Better understand yourself Read: 30 Things Business & Marketing Coaches Wish Entrepreneurs Would Stop Doing From the economy to the weather, struggling entrepreneurs have all
sorts of reasons why their product or service isn’t selling. But have
you ever considered that you might be doing things all wrong and that’s
why you’re not reaching the success you’d like to see? Here are some valuable insights from 30 successful business coaches.
They’ve observed what frustrates them to no end, and these are the
things that could very well be thwarting your own success!
Working with a consultant.
A consultant is often an expert in their field, and provides you with
advice. While they may sound similar to a mentor or a coach,
consultants don’t work with you to improve your skills or guide you in
your professional development. They usually work within your defined
metrics and deliverables. When you work with a consultant, you’re getting valuable advice from
someone with niche experience and industry understanding. While a
business coach or a mentor will encourage you to do your best, a
consultant will focus on identifying what you need to do to accomplish
your goals. The most common consulting methods are: • Strategic Advice: When a business has specific problems, a consultant can create a strategy to solve them. • Done-For-You Service: Some consultants have a team to support them,
so this option makes sense if a small business requires a solution they
aren’t skilled in implementing. • One-Time Training: Say your management team hasn’t been meeting a
certain objective. A consultant could offer them training to help them
get back on track. • Ongoing Coaching: You can’t expect amazing results by meeting with a
consultant once for four hours. Many small businesses will work with a
consultant over months or years on things like a marketing plan or
expanding the company globally. Your unique needs will determine whether you need a mentor, coach or
consultant to enhance your professional development. But each one has
the power to prevent you from making bad decisions that will leave you
in financial distress and conducting self-sabotage to your own success,
whether you realize you are doing it or not!
I’d love to provide you with the empowered support you need to grow
your business. As your mentor, we’ll look at what’s working, what’s not,
and create a professional development plan to move you forward.

The Patriots have been relying on this play in big moments of big games for the last several years. Why? It has built in answers to every single coverage you could ever see,
making it great no matter what you face week to week. You can also call
this on 1st, 2nd or 3rd down, which makes it an easy play to call no
matter the situation. The concept can also be incorporated into almost any offensive
system. Once your players learn this concept, you can carryover the
fundamentals to several other routes. This concept is a combination of some of the most used route combos
against each type of coverage you can face. By adjusting one or two
receivers during the pre-snap process you will create a combo that is
good versus the coverage you face each play. We have been doing this at
the high school level for years. In this course you will get: A basic overview of the play (using NFL footage) 3D playbook installation overview Detailed information on each player's route How to communicate the play between the coach, QB and WR's How to practice the concept How to disguise the concept How to use it as a full field concept How to use it as a back side or front side tag How to use it as an RPO After

This chest workout from James Grage can be done anywhere. He won't be using any machines or free weights, but will instead only use resistance bands. ► Shop Undersun Resistance Bands: https://bbcom.me/3goGzNE ► Jacked at Home: Bodyweight Muscle-Building Workouts: https://bbcom.me/2ZDJY5u
| Why Bands, You Ask? | Bands offer the unique advantage of being portable, versatile, and dynamic. You can easily transition between exercises to get a killer, full-body workout anytime, anywhere, in a very short amount of time. But aside from their convenience, the dynamic resistance of bands is uniquely excellent at pumping blood into your muscles while you train, making bands the perfect tool for building muscle.
"The free motion of the bands is very different," explains Morin. "You get in, you break a sweat, and you get a good pump. That's what I enjoy most about it."
You'll definitely get a massive pump with this workout, especially with the way the sets are structured.
Each exercise is done for 60 seconds with only 30 seconds of rest in between. Since the rest periods are very short, this workout gets intense fast. You'll have just enough time to catch your breath and grab a sip of water. Just don't go too far, because that next exercise will come faster than you think!

| An Entire Gym In A Bag | Undersun Strength Bands can duplicate any exercise you would do in the gym. Weights only create resistance in the vertical plane, as they resist gravity, which is why gyms are filled with so many machines. With Undersun Strength Bands you have unlimited exercise options, with resistance in every plane.
Train Anytime.
Train Anywhere | The Power of VRT (Variable Resistance Training | Undersun Strength Bands create a very unique kind of tension called VRT, or Variable Resistance Training. VRT more closely matches the natural strength curve of your muscles than weights, which means better muscular contractions and therefore more muscle-building benefits.
| Undersun Strength Bands vs. Resistance Tube Bands | There are two main types of bands on the market: loop style bands (Undersun Strength Bands) and resistance tube bands.
Tube bands typically have handles at either end, while loop bands are "closed" and don't have ends, or handles.
And while it may seem like handles would make the bands easier to grip and more user-friendly, this isn't the case. First of all, gripping the band itself is just as easy as holding a handle.
More Grip Options- - Holding the band itself, as you do with Undersun Strength Bands, offers more possible grip positions and even allow you to switch grips mid-set. With handles, you hands are fixed in position and have less freedom to move and change grips. By varying your grip position you are able to shorten or lengthen the band, creating more or less tension, through Variable Resistance.
No "Dead Space" - The handles on tube bands create a "dead space" of a few inches (or more) between the end of the band and your hand. Not only can this make certain exercises feel clumsy, there's no resistance in the dead space. With Undersun bands, there's no dead space - your hand connects directly with the band - and thus, no loss of resistance.
Find out why it may be beneficial to use MCT oil in your coffee—especially if you’re new to keto and intermittent fasting.
You may have heard of something called bulletproof coffee. Bulletproof coffee is one 8oz-12oz cup of coffee mixed with 1-2 tbsp of butter and 1-2 tbsp of MCT oil.
There can be a lot of benefits of consuming this, especially when you’re first starting out on keto and intermittent fasting because it may help you fast for longer.
MCT stands for medium-chain triglycerides. These are special fats usually made from coconut oil that turns into ketones pretty fast. This helps you potentially generate ketones as fuel without really changing your diet.
Sometimes, when making bulletproof coffee, people also add ingredients such as: • Turmeric • Cinnamon • Unflavored chocolate powder • Sea salt • Chili powder
Benefits of MCT oil in coffee: 1. More physical energy 2. Increased mental clarity 3. Reduced appetite 4. More oxygen 5. Increased fasting 6. Helps with the transition to burning fat
Pretty much all MCT oil companies get their products from the same source. The United States doesn’t grow coconuts, so MCT oil comes from non-US sources. I have an MCT oil product that is from Indonesia.
I believe that typically MCT oil is overpriced. Many brands sell MCT oil for $25 to $45 for one 16oz bottle. I sell my MCT oil for $12.95. Many people enjoy bulletproof coffee, you may want to give it a try too!

Daytona Beach, Florida — Two members of the Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD) were involved in a shooting this morning (May 25, 2020) while investigating an armed carjacking call.
The officer and sergeant who used their handguns in that incident are now on paid administrative leave as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) investigates. This is standard in officer-involved shootings. Both responded to the Wawa on 120 South Ridgewood Avenue soon after Volusia County emergency dispatchers received a call for help at 8:08 a.m. It all started at the Popeye’s restaurant near Wawa (101 North Ridgewood Avenue) when a man allegedly attempted to carjack a woman who works there.
The victim fought her way free, fled the scene towards Wawa and called for police from there. When the officer arrived on scene, he spotted a man on the north side of the Wawa parking lot on foot and armed with a rifle. He ordered that man to put the weapon down numerous times and fired when that man pointed the rifle at the officer. The sergeant arrived on scene as the first shots were fired by the officer. He drew his weapon and fired at the suspect until he fell to the ground. In total, six shots were fired by the officer and the sergeant. The Police department is still investigating to see if the suspect fired his weapon. Paramedics took the suspect to Halifax Health Medical Center for treatment after officers placed him in handcuffs.
He underwent surgery and is expected to recover from his injuries, according to DBPD Chief Craig Capri. “I’m very proud of my officers, the way they acted today. They were very professional. They did their jobs,” Capri said to media at the scene. “It’s unfortunate that someone had to be shot in this incident, but we didn’t start this. The suspect escalated this incident. We tried to deescalate.” The officer and sergeant involved were not injured in this incident. Neither was the woman who called for assistance or any of the other responding officers. The identities of the officers and suspect involved are not available currently as the investigation is active and ongoing.
Have you ever started something important,
only to lose confidence because you heard or saw something negative
about it? When we’re unsure of something, it’s much easier to be
discouraged from completing the task. A strong level of confidence is
critical to the success of everything we do, because when we’re
confident about something, nothing can shake our faith. We’re
susceptible to failure when we base our confidence in ourselves, but not
when we base it in Christ.
Every promise God made to us in His Word, whether it’s healing,
peace, joy, prosperity, or deliverance, is true. Having confidence in
these promises puts us in the position to receive them, but we must
always be prepared to encounter resistance. Our enemy, the devil, will
suggest things to make us wonder if the promises can actually come true
for us. This is spiritual warfare; we win when we steadfastly trust in
and rely on the finished works of Jesus until we see the peace of mind
that brings us into God’s promised place of rest. What blocks the manifestation of the promises is when we let stress,
anxiety, and worry push us out of that place of rest. This is exactly
what the devil wants, but whatever happens, we mustn’t lose focus on the
grace of God. The only time stress and anxiety threatened to overcome
Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemane, but He overcame these emotions by
acknowledging His trust in God’s ability to take Him through everything
He had to go through on our behalf. Faith is required if we are to experience God’s best in our lives,
but it won’t always be easy. When we feel outside pressure weighing on
us, it takes work to stay at peace. Leaning on Christ gives us the
strength for the task and the confidence we need to stand firm. Prayer: Father God, You sent us Your Son to give us someone in whom we can
truly have confidence. Though I’m prone to make mistakes, You are not.
Total faith and trust in You brings me to that place of rest where I can
find peace, and You never let me go even when fear or stress tries to
knock me out of that rest. In Jesus’ name, I thank You. Amen.

Hi
everyone! I miss seeing you in person, and I’ll be glad when all this
is over and we can be together again. In the meantime, I want to
continue to share encouragement with you and share some powerful
Scriptures to help everyone get through this pandemic.
God wants us to have peace!
Shalom is wholeness, peace, and prosperity.
It’s
not unusual to feel a bit of fear because of everything we’re seeing
around us, and all the scary news reports. We’ve got to be careful not
to let those reports influence us, because they have the potential for
putting us in panic mode. We are spirits living in physical bodies and
possessing souls, which is where our emotions reside. God wants us to
prosper emotionally; in other words, He wants us to have peace in our
souls. “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3
John 1:2). Thank the Lord that you are whole, healed, and sound. Thank
Him that your relationships are right, you don’t walk in strife, and you
are delivered because of the body of Jesus Christ!
Peace is our most valuable asset!
Be filled with the joy, love, and peace of God.
We
need to guard our eye gates and our ear gates carefully, because the
enemy uses the bad things we see and hear to steal our peace. As I’ve
said before, peace is our most valuable asset! Whatever it is we’re contemplating, it’s too expensive if it costs us our peace.
Staying connected to God in prayer, and focusing on Jesus Christ and
the good health He’s made available to us, helps us maintain our peace. “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians
4:7). Guard your ears today; guard your eyes today; speak the Word of
God out of your mouth today. Every weapon that’s formed against you,
catch it and say, “No, no, that won’t happen to me. I live by the Word
of God. I’m not moved by what I see. I’m not moved by what I hear. I’m
moved by the Word of God!”
Master your emotions with peace!
God’s peace is available to you.
Fear
stands for “false evidence appearing real.” Fears can actually be worse
than any virus going around. Satan is fear; don’t allow him entrance
into your life. We must master our emotions with the peace that God
wants us to have. This means we need to be able to respond correctly
when negative emotions hit because of a bad situation around us.
God will deliver you from all your fears, and honor you with His
presence and power!
The Spirit of truth abides in you and teaches you all things!
The
most powerful thing you can have access to right now is the wisdom of
God. The wisdom of God is knowing what to do when you don’t know what to
do. The wisdom of God is made available to His children. It’s the thing
that just comes up out of your spirit; all of a sudden it’s in your
mind. All of a sudden wisdom, light comes on, an enlightenment comes
on. I believe that we will walk in the wisdom of God. There are some
things that have been a secret to you, but they will be revealed to you
because of the wisdom of God!
Find Scripture
There’s power in the Word of God! There’s power in speaking the Word of God! There’s power in confessing the Word of God!
A
few years ago, the doctors diagnosed me with cancer. I felt my emotions
trying to take me away, but I worked hard to maintain my peace. Another
time, I was diagnosed with meningitis. I responded to it the same
way—by finding Scriptures on healing, meditating on them, and verbally
declaring them every time I felt fear knocking on the door. I learned
that, because of God’s love for you, you can call on Him and He will
deliver you from all your fears.
God loves us!
All day, remind yourself that you’re blessed!
I want all of you to do the same thing. God loves us, and we can trust that succumbing to sickness isn’t His will for us. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” (Isaiah 26:3). This is the kind of thing to meditate on. You are loved with the love of Christ!
Coming to the aid of the community
Creflo
Dollar Ministries is committed to helping our community! We’ve given
lunches to local school children, donated supplies to nursing homes, and
purchased masks and gloves for local hospitals.
Watch this video to see how CDM is making a difference during these trying times.
We will walk in love!
Speak kind words
Ephesians 4:29, 30 says, “Let
no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is
good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the
hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”
We grieve the Holy Spirit based on how we treat one another. So, if
you’re walking in unforgiveness with someone, if you are angry with
someone, if you’re not speaking kind words to other people, when you’re
mean to people, when you take things out on people who had nothing to do
with it, the Word says that grieves the Holy Spirit. We don’t want to
have a bad attitude toward anyone and treat them mean and, in essence,
grieve the Holy Spirit because of how we’re feeling today. Today, we’re
going to walk in love. If we can’t find anything good to
say, we won’t say anything at all or we’ll just say, “Praise God.” We
won’t allow any frustrations to be used to go off on other people. Our
days will be filled with the joy, love, and peace of God!
DON’T GIVE UP, CAVE IN, OR QUIT. JUST KEEP GOING!
Here’s a special message just for you to help keep you encouraged through this time.

How To Become The Ideal Leadoff Man
By Brandon Ogle
will typically say they prefer certain attributes, but the truth is they need to possess a little bit of everything. Legendary leadoff man Kenny Lofton once said, “You can’t put your shoes on without your socks. Everything works together – shoes, socks, pants and shirts. If one is missing, you’re in trouble.” This analogy is referring to the varying skillsets needed to effectively be the man at the top.
High On-Base Percentage
First and foremost, leadoff men need to be able to get on base. Their primary responsibility is to give the power bats an opportunity to drive in some runs, which is what they do best. However, the important thing to understand here is that there are many ways to get on base. The on- base percentage statistic shouldn’t be confused with batting average. In general terms, it is calculated on every time you reach base by way of a hit, walk or hit by pitch. So, with this being the case, leadoff men need to be creative in getting on. Some guys possess the speed to bunt frequently and get on. Another scenario would be ones with a discerning eye that are tough to strikeout, while others are pure hitters that can hit to all fields. There are many ways to get on, but coaches are generally just going to be worried about whether or not you get on.
Energized
Since leadoff man possess the opportunity to get the entire dugout amped up right away, they need to be an energizing presence. Often times, I refer to this as the leadoff man having a certain level of swagger. I’m not saying they should do something to show the pitcher up, but rather get the game started in a positive manner. Whether it be working a 10-pitch walk or beating out an infield single, there are many possibilities. Hitting is a contagious trait and when you see people before you having success off a pitcher right off the bat, it can lead to good fortunes for the rest of the squad. As for the actual characteristic of being an energetic player, it’s reliant solely on production and personality. For the personality side, you can’t really teach this, it mainly comes down to the person. However, production can be developed through experience in the game.
Fast on the Base Paths
One trait that often comes to people’s mind immediately when thinking about leadoff men is their speed. You’re almost never going to see someone that’s not fleet-of-foot in the opening spot. There are many situations where this speed comes in play. First, it allows them to beat out bunts and infield grounders to increase that on-base percentage. Next, they can steal bases more easily to put themselves in scoring position for the power bats behind them. Finally, they can take extra bases on hits, such as going to first to third. Each of these plays can greatly affect a game. The offseason is a great time to improve this speed if you believe it is something holding you back from manning the leadoff spot. There are many ways to do so, but I urge practicing 100 meter sprints on the track. 100 meters are long enough to ensure you can accelerate quickly and keep top speed going for longer distances. In addition, you should practice you’re reaction time and how you’ll time jumps. This may come from agility exercises or even watching others appropriately time jumps.
Patient at the Dish
One aspect of the on-base percentage discussed above is the ability to secure walks and work the counts. Unless you’re like the Kansas City Royals’ Alcides Escobar, a leadoff man should work the pitcher and make him throw plenty of pitches. Sometimes, the first pitch might be a fastball thrown right down the middle. In these instances, it might be wise to be first-pitch swinging. However, other times, the pitcher will try to get you to swing at something outside the zone. It is at these times where a leadoff man should possess the ability to utilize a discerning eye and work the count. Another element to keep in mind is the concept of good outs. Occasionally, these can include outs that move the runner up a base, while it can also be ones that make the pitcher work and tax his or her pitch count. Even if you get out, making the pitcher throw 10- plus pitches can get him or her out of the game quicker. Being disciplined at the dish is critical to a leadoff man’s job. This video from former Major Leaguer Matt Nokes goes over many of the fundamentals to successful hitting. Don’t ignore the basics; they’re at the crux of all great hitters!
Occasional Power
While I’ve discussed extensively the element of leadoff men getting on base consistently, it also doesn’t hurt for them to be able to have a little pop. Even the speedy Juan Pierre, who once stole 68 bases in a season, hit 18 home runs over his MLB career. To back this up, it isn’t uncommon for leadoff men today to hit around 10 homeruns each season. This can provide a little more power to the lineup as a whole, as well as keep the defense honest. They can’t be cheating up while expecting a short hit or else they could fall victim to a shot over their head. In saying this, leadoff men need to stay focused and remember they’re not in the lineup to hit it deep. They’re still considered a table setter, but when the opportunity’s right, they can take a big rip.
Positions Played?
The last section I’ll discuss is the positions often occupied by leadoff men. While technically, any player can hold the leadoff position, we typically see some more than the others. These positions include second base, shortstop and center field. Part of the reason for this is since these are usually position that require plus-defenders. In addition, these positions are filed with players that are pretty good athletes and possess above-average speed. With this section, I’m not intending that you have to play these positions to hit leadoff, but rather that the skillsets between the two roles usually intertwine.
Non-Stop
When describing a leadoff man, I’m usually looking for someone that can always be counted on and plays with non-stop consistency. Since they often occupy a defensively difficult position, they need to be on top of their game every time they’re on the field. This includes always knowing the situation and when your team is desperate for a base runner. With this said, in the end, the majority of this role comes down to the ability to set the table for the power bats!
