Equipped for the Task
Our inadequacy doesn't disqualify us from God's calling—it positions us to depend on His strength.
Yesterday we discussed how God promised Moses, “I will be with you” (Exodus 3:12)—offering His presence as the sufficient answer to something that seemed impossible. Today we see how God also provides practical help for the tasks He gives us. Sometimes that help comes through the people He places in our life.
Moses’ inability to speak well left him feeling inadequate. But God reassured him by saying, “I, even I, will be with your mouth, and teach you what you are to say” (4:12). Then the Lord went a step further by calling Moses’ brother Aaron to proclaim the message (vv. 14-15). Keep reading.......
