The Ultimate Pre-Season Conditioning Drill Coaching Course for Track and Field discusses the fact that pre-season conditioning is an important aspect of an athlete’s training regimen and should account for approximately 25%-30% of an athlete’s training efforts over the course of the year. This Coaching Course features a comprehensive series of drills that are appropriate for track and field participants in all events, at all levels of fitness, and for all ages. Each drill is explained and demonstrated in an easy-to-understand manner.   Among the topics covered:

    The Coach

    Brad Hackett

    Brad Hackett has been a college track and field coach for nearly 30 years. For 15 years, he was an assistant coach at the Division I level, with stints at Colgate University, Bucknell University, and Syracuse University. He has been the head track coach at Division III Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, since 1999. He previously served on the men’s development committee for USA Track and Field.
