Late Runs Doom Bulls in 6-5 Loss to Bearcats

TAMPA, FLA., MARCH 23, 2019 – Despite an early 4-0 lead, the USF baseball team fell late to Cincinnati in the middle game of the three-game series, 6-5.

The Bulls (12-9, 1-1 The American) struck in the first. Senior Kyle Phillips (Orlando) got things going with a single, then eventually got 90 feet from home by stealing third. A passed ball allowed him to score to give USF a 1-0 lead.

In the bottom of the second, USF loaded the bases with one out. Phillips recorded his second hit in as many innings with a double down the right field line, scoring Nick Gonzalez (Tampa) and Garrett Zech (Naples, Fla.). Junior Jordan Santos (Tampa) made it 4-0, as he scored on a wild pitch.

Senior righty Alec Wisely (Jacksonville, Fla.) was working efficiently through the first four, as he allowed just two hits. The Bearcats (7-14, 1-1 The American) worked a pair of walks and loaded the bases in the fifth with one out, then put a mark on the scoreboard with a sac fly, making it 4-1.

USF answered with another run in the bottom half, as Santos drove in Chris Chatfield (Riverview, Fla.) from third on a sacrifice to center, making it 5-1.

A solo homer in the top of the seventh led off a three-run frame for Cincinnati, making it 5-4. The Bearcats scored two more runs in the ninth on four hits to take their first lead, 6-5. USF brought the tying run to the plate three times in the ninth, but the side was retired in order.

Hockey Background & Beginning Phases of Tim Turk Hockey
Tim Turk Hockey all began when I was 15-20.  At the time I was working as a shooter for a goalie school. A couple of years passed and the owner of the goalie school suggested my partner and I teach shooting as we were really precise. Back then, (25-26 years ago) there were no shooting schools. My partner and I were youngsters at the time and we were looking at each other and thinking we know nothing about business. At the time we kind of wrote the idea off.
Some more time passed and unbelievably, the owner of the school said, ‘I will open up a shooting school, one of you guys can shoot on the goalies and the other can teach shooting’.  The idea was really cool but the first thing we thought of was, how we are going to get people in here because we knew nothing about business, promotion, or marketing. The owner said that he would take care of it as, ‘every goalie knows more than two players’. So, he had a really high number of clients that knew a lot of players. He just put a sign on the wall that said ‘if anyone brings a player that signs up for our shooting classes then you will get a free session’. That is how it all started and took off from there.” Read the full article......

Motorcycle Tracks - Why it is much better in many ways?

By: Johnny Steel

We have all ridden our motorcycles on the street. Practicing on the street is extremely difficult from the distractions we encounter, other obstacles, vehicles and rules that inhibit us to effectively learn more. This is where motorcycle tracks (commonly called road race courses) fill the gap for more advanced learning. You may ask yourself "does this really fit? I’m not a racer!" Absolutely! Let’s dive into why it fits, and why Motorcycle Tracks are much better in many ways.

GATHER INFORMATION:
Use vision to take in all the situational data available to you. This is much easier on a motorcycle track
EVALUATE YOUR SITUATION:
Be aware of your position on the track, where you are headed and what your bike is telling you.
NARROW THE OPTIONS:
Focus your attention on the most important goals, for a lap, a session or the day
INSTINCTS HONED:
Create repeatable processes, through application and practice, that don’t make you think through each time.
UNDERSTAND AND APPLY:
Process and incorporate the information and feedback you get while riding.
STEPPING UP:
Use all of this to take your riding to the next level.

IT’S GENIUS
Street riding can be extremely unsafe! You can not control most of the situations around you. On a motorcycle track, it is much more of a controlled environment. Many safety measures are put into place to make the experience as safe as possible. You are required to wear full leathers, gloves, boots and full-face helmets. This cures 70% of the problem of having a crash from a safety standpoint. You can absolutely wear all this gear on the street also, and many do, but you also have curbs, guardrails, trees and other hazards you do not on motorcycle tracks.

A motorcycle enthusiast is able to ride at basically continuous speed without interruptions of all the above-mentioned problems on motorcycle tracks. Allowing your brain to work easier helping you retain the information you are learning much quicker and SAFER than you can on the street. This helps build muscle memory and helps you operate all the controls without thinking about it as much which in turn allows you to focus on something else. This is called less workload. EvolveGT Trackdays has plenty of motorcycle tracks designed specifically for this purpose. Increasing your skill level done with safety and focus on helping you learn skills normally not attainable on the street.

Hi, I love rides and love to write about the motorcycle tracks for the world's riders that helps to become a skilled rider.I suggest to choose http://www.evolvegt.com/ for the best motorcycle tracks and training experience.
