BOWIE, Md. - Augusta University came into Bowie State University on Sunday afternoon and handed the Bulldogs a 70-59 non-conference setback. The loss drops the Bowie State record to 3-4 overall while the Jaguars improve to 6-1 on the year.
“I was very disappointed with our energy, they out rebounded us and their best player did what we knew he was capable of”, said a dejected Bowie State Head Coach Darrell Brooks. “We have to find a way to get that energy and fire back heading into our next game!”
Junior Ahmaad Wilson (Baltimore, Md.) paced Bowie State with 17 points while seniors Michael Briscoe (Waldorf, Md.) and Enuoma Ebinum (Greenbelt, Md.) added 13 points apiece in the setback.
