There's
not a wasted second in this shoulder, chest, arms, and abs routine. You
want time under tension? You've got it. Keep rest periods short, grab
the weight, and go!
I've been in the game long enough that I've learned what
works for my body. The type of training I do today is the same type that
I'll do pretty much 12 months out of the year. It's going to be a
priority on function, but also an undertone of aesthetics. This is how I trained when I was a bodybuilder who also happened to
be an NFL punter, and it's how I plan on training now that I'm done with
football. I like to hit shoulders, chest, arms, and abs in one quick,
tough, Grit-building workout that'll have you out the door and back to
life in less than an hour. No wasting time here. Just jump in and get it done!
The first set of all four movements is what I call a "working warm-up
set." It's a hybrid set that warms you up and also gets some blood in
the muscle. Start off light! I only use 20s for 20 reps. You can start with your hands at your sides or in front of you—that's
up to you. What I care about is what happens at the top. Bring your
elbows to where they're even with your shoulders, but no higher, before
going back down. Going above that point is going to give your muscle
time to rest, which is what we don't want. Keep the tension constant,
even if it means you need to use a lighter weight. You're only doing one
shoulder exercise today, so make the most of it.
Cable Chest Fly
This is very similar to the dumbbell raise in that you're going to
start light with a working warm-up set, then gradually increase weight,
all while maintaining constant tension throughout the movement.
Cable Chest Fly
This isn't an exercise where you need to go incredibly heavy. It's
really more about the technique and the contraction of the muscle. If
you go a little over the rep target or can't quite hit it, that's fine.
Just focus on the form. One technique point: I like to start with the cables at about
shoulder height, and then push up slightly at the point of contraction.
Triceps Press-Down
In contrast to the two previous movements, you can go as heavy as you
can handle here. If you cheat just a little bit, I'm OK with that. I
would rather see you go a little heavier than you're used to and cheat
on those last couple of reps than leave anything in the tank. The
triceps is a muscle group that's incredibly resilient, which means that
to encourage growth and strength gains, you need to go heavy.
Standing Dumbbell Concentration Curl
When you're picking your weight here, go light. In fact, go lighter
than what you think is light. If you have access to them, I recommend
you use Fat Gripz, which I use for my arms workouts whenever I can. It's not imperative, but I really feel it helps to isolate the biceps. When you're at the top of the movement, think about twisting the
weight so your pinky is facing up. This is going to help build the
overall peak of the muscle. We're talking pure aesthetics here.
Woodchopper
If you can set up four cables in the cross-over station and perform
this series that way, great. If not, just use a single cable stack, move
the weight up and down, and rotate your body as you go through this
series. The precise order doesn't matter as much as simply hitting all the
angles here. It should take you no more than 4 and a half minutes to
bust this out. Pick a reasonable weight and get ready to burn.
Modified Dragonfly (Dragon Flag)
You can perform this movement on any level of decline bench or even a
flat bench. The higher you go, the more it resembles a strict hanging
leg raise—and the more difficult it gets. Pick whatever works for your
current level of core strength. The results from this movement are all in the details: how straight
you keep your legs, how locked you keep your knees, and how pointed you
keep your toes. All of those things make the movement more difficult,
too, so expect your reps to go down. Putting a small weight—like really small, as little as 5 pounds—can also up the intensity in the later sets.

involves fuel and oxygen. In order to burn glucose, there are essential
cofactors or coenzymes that are basically the keys that start the
engine. Essential cofactors and coenzymes: • B1 • Zinc • Potassium • Magnesium • Chromium • Manganese • Calcium • Other B vitamins • Vitamin C The above are essential for burning glucose. The process in the
mitochondria can’t work without these nutrients.
If you’re consuming pure glucose without these nutrients, your body will
pull them from your reserves, and it’s going to start depleting you of
these nutrients.
Cane sugar and molasses both have nutrients, so you won’t deplete them.
However, you will still have issues because of the glucose.
What you really need to do, if you’re not already, is healthy keto with
intermittent fasting.

or shrubs to grow in front of windows, especially in the rear of the
home. The foliage is a perfect camouflage for any burglar while they are
attempting to gain access to your home. A further home security
tip is to eliminate dark areas around the home by installing small
lights near shrubbery so as to allow you to light up these areas at
night or to connect the lighting with motion sensors so as to help ward
off potential thieves. View Your Home Through The Eyes Of A Burglar It
is well known that most burglars, even the most professional and
proficient, will only try to enter the house that offers the least
resistance. Their method of operation is almost universal in that they
want to get in and get out as quickly as possible without drawing
attention to themselves. As a deterrent why not put up signs warning
that your home has a security system installed as this can often cause
burglars to ignore your home and keep moving to the next house in the
neighborhood. Other home security tips include always keeping the curtains drawn at
night and when ever the property is unoccupied always keep your
valuables out of sight. It is common knowledge that many burglars target
the theft of expensive, high-demand electronics which they can see
sitting on tables and desks. So as a precaution ensure that these items
are placed out of view. If burglars can not observe easy
accessible property from their vantage point outside then it is highly
unlikely that they will try to gain access to your home on the off
chance that you possess something worth their effort. Always
close and lock windows and doors at night and when you are out. Draw
your curtains at night or when the house is unattended. Install external
security lights, preferably those that are activated by motion sensors
and ensure your valuables cannot be seen from the outside. By taking a
few simple precautions with these home security tips will be well on
your way to protecting your family and property.

Most of us can remember hearing the phrase “be
seated” on numerous occasions and in various settings. Sitting can
indicate a shift in thinking on more than one level. In the physical
realm, we’re at rest when we’re reclining; in the spiritual realm, we’re
at rest when we believe God’s promises so strongly that all anxiety and
worry vanish. Reaching this state of ease is the highest form of faith
there is. Being seated indicates a change in posture, from struggling to do
something though self-effort to resting in the finished works of Jesus
and leaning on Him to provide what we need. When Jesus fed the
multitudes, He first had them recline. Reclining put them in a posture
to receive. “Then He ordered the crowds to recline on the grass; and
He took the five loaves and the two fish, and, looking up to heaven, He
gave thanks and blessed and broke the loaves and handed the pieces to
the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people” (Matthew
14:19, AMPC). When we’re at rest, we’re able to receive God’s Word, be
fed, and then share the Word with a spiritually-starved world. Rest isn’t inactivity—it’s being at peace even while we’re working
and doing what we know we need to do. In a place of rest is right where
God wants us; it’s in this place where He can begin to bless us and
manifest His presence in our lives. Sometimes staying at rest is hard
work, especially when the world pressures us to move out of our place of
rest. “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he
that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works,
as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest,
lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief” (Hebrews 4:9-11). Fully believing Him brings us into that place of rest. Abraham, who was greatly blessed because of his faith, heard God’s promise of a son when he was seated and at rest. “And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day”
(Genesis 18:1). This promise came to pass when Abraham ceased his
self-efforts and simply believed. God has made many promises to us as
well; we receive them when we stop trusting in our own works and instead
trust Him. We can’t be seated if we’re in constant motion. The world is a noisy
place, and has a way of keeping us so preoccupied with “doing” that we
have no time for sitting and receiving from God. When Jesus visited
Martha and Mary, Mary sat at Jesus’ feet to hear Him teach. Martha
complained about it, but Jesus commended Mary for choosing wisely (Luke
10:38-42). “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus”
(Ephesians 2:6, NIV). Born-again believers are already seated in
heaven. This level of rest is available to us not because of what we do,
but because of what Jesus already did. Shifting our thinking from
performing to believing helps us to stay at rest. There are some things that only God can provide. We see results when
we jump off the treadmill of life that the world offers, and stop to
