MaxPreps' National Football Editor Zack Poff joins CBS' Tommy Tran to break down one of the biggest games of the week against No. 10 St. Louis (HI) and No. 15 Bishop Gorman (NV).
Now this from CoachTube Football!

Description

  • Learn how to create shutdown corners using the motor release technique in bump and run coverage
  • Develop a combination of techniques that confuse the receiver and allow the defensive back to take the receiver out of his route
  • Learn indicators that will allow your defensive backs to attack routes with confidence
With Ron Cooper, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Assistant Coach /Defensive Backs; former LSU Assistant Coach / Defensive Backs. Ron Cooper delivers a comprehensive approach to teaching the techniques and fundamentals to play bump & run coverage using the motor release. In the motor release, the goal is to keep your body in front of the receiver so there is "no route." Combining the motor release with more aggressive off hand jam techniques, Cooper keeps the receiver guessing on what type of release to use off the line.
Using practice video Coach Cooper takes you from the stance of the defensive back through the motor release techniques in a series of drills. Cooper's emphasis is on the ability of the defensive back to stay in front of the receiver to destroy the timing of the route. Cooper also teaches the defensive back to watch the inside hip of the receiver, this allows the defender to come under control and break hard when the receiver's hips drop. Cooper covers the important coaching points in defending the:

  • Fade
  • Stutter & Go
  • Comeback
  • Slant
As a bonus Coach Cooper discusses Cover 1 and the "indicators" that the free safety and linebacker use to close on the ball. Cooper teaches that the indicators take the free defenders to the ball quickly making the bump & run coverage difficult to pass the ball on. When identifying these indicators, your defensive backs will be put in a position to beat their opponent from pre-snap to the whistle.
This video will support coaches at any level who wish to develop sound fundamental press man technique for defensive backs. Book this course.....

The Truth About Cancer Featuring: Nature’s Medicine Chest: An Inside Look at Malaysia’s Best Cancer-Fighting Garden

In this video, we follow Ty and the TTAC crew during their Journey Through ASIA as they talk to Dr. Vijaendreh Subramaniam from Malaysia about the role of Iodine in cancer prevention. You can watch the entire episode here: http://bit.ly/buy-eastern-medicine.

Dr. Vijay and his wife, Alice, give us a tour of their cancer-fighting garden. Plants high in vitamin B17 are excellent for fighting cancer. Dr. Vijay shows us a garden overflowing with local vegetables like tapioca and lemongrass. Perfect for maintaining natural health, this medicinal garden is helping to prevent cancer, one bite at a time.

Next Alice introduces us to a fruit called roselle. Roselle is used to make drinks, and is jam-packed with vitamin C. Turmeric is another staple of the garden, and possesses powerful anti-cancer properties. These medicinal herbs promote natural healing without all of the toxic chemicals found in major agriculture.

Dr. Vijay and his wife show us many more herbs and vegetables, explaining that they are all local. Everything that they grow is organic, and they cook and eat it at home. Many of these veggies can’t be found at the grocery store – especially in organic form.

Want to learn more about how Dr. Vijay is using nature’s medicine chest to prevent and treat cancer? Check out the full episode here: http://bit.ly/buy-eastern-medicine.

In the summer of 2018, we traveled through Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and India. Asia is the birthplace of natural medicine with records as old as the 3rd century BCE showing the use of specific natural remedies. Remarkably, we still use some of them today! Over 60 experts, medical doctors, herbalists, and cancer survivors tell us what they did, how they did it, and what their results were in “Eastern Medicine: Journey Through ASIA.”

** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) ** Yesterday, The Aransas Pass Police officers arrested Jesse Rose age 33 in the Walmart parking lot around 8:45 am. The complaint was he appeared to be under the influence of drugs and was walking around talking to himself and acting strangely. Officers arrived at the scene, contacted Rose, and attempted to visit with him. Officers described him as being altered and did not know if the issue was drug or medically related. Because we have a high tendency of dealing with mental-health consumers, there was some initial confusion as to whether this was a medical or drug-related event. As you will observe by watching the video, it becomes apparent to officers they were dealing with an intoxicated subject. Officers had to physically remove Rose from his vehicle and take him into custody.

He was secured at our local jail but would later need to be shuffled around inside the jail. Later that afternoon, around 2 pm, officers found the time to move the inmates around and finish preparing them for the county jail. In doing so, Rose was made to sit in the booking area while officers moved another inmate out of the intox cell. Rose used that opportunity to make his great escape. Officer Garrison appears at the entrance into the jail. Officer Herrera signaled to Ofc. Garrison to keep an eye on Rose. When the coast was clear, Rose charged Ofc. Garrison and immediately took possession of her taser. Ofc Herrera and Sgt. Jones heard the struggle and responded to Ofc. Garrison.
Rose then discharged the taser toward Ofc. Herrera but missed striking him. The struggle continued into the booking hallway where Rose attempted to reload the taser. Because the taser was still administering its initial 5-second cycle, the second taser cartridge immediately discharged prematurely when it neared the "muzzle" of the taser. Rose then ran down the hallways, pursued by officers. As they turned the corner, Rose was taken to the ground and continued to fight with officers. At one point during the fray, Rose bit an officer on the arm. After a brief struggle, Rose was again taken into custody. Aside from minor injuries, no officers were seriously injured in this event.

“For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries” (1 Corinthians 14:2).

Praying in tongues allows us to move beyond the barriers of our human understanding and talk to God about things we don’t know about. “An unknown tongue” may be unknown to us, but He knows exactly what we’re saying.

Disc 1 – The Purpose & Power Of Fathers
Disc 2 – The Role Of Fatherhood In Family and Community Building
Disc 3 – How Fathers Earn Honor
Disc 4 – The Roles Of A Perfect Father Part 1

The inherent purpose of all men is fatherhood. Men were designed by God to fulfill the role of a father in the lives of those around him. Dr. Myles Munroe explains that although every man is called to be a father, knowing how to live in this purpose is not automatic. Men must understand the characteristics and master the skills of fatherhood. Fulfilling the position and role they were created for means exhibiting qualities of leadership, integrity, responsibility, and obedience to the ultimate Father of fathers, our Father God in heaven.

Pure Spiritual Power

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Galatians 5:22-23

So many believers think of the fruit of the spirit as little more than a passive list of pleasant qualities that can help improve their personalities. But it’s far greater than that! It’s pure spiritual power.
Love is so powerful, the scripture says, that it never fails. Patience is so powerful it cannot be stopped. No matter what the circumstances, it will not quit. Temperance is so powerful it can master all the unruly desires of your flesh.
The fruit of the spirit is not weak; it’s strong. So strong all the demons of hell can’t stop it. So strong that if you’ll let it flow out of you, it will correct the problems in your life. It will keep you steadfast when all the people around you are falling down. It’ll keep you on your feet when governments fail and when the storms of life come.
We are living in dangerous days. There’s only one way you can make it through in victory. You must begin to release the powerful fruit of the spirit God has placed inside you. Believe me, if you’re born again, it is there. Learn to yield to it and as 2 Peter 1:10 promised, you shall never fall!

 | Lying Side Clam Shell
| these are great movements for strengthening the medial glute. The medial glute lies on the upper, outer portion of your rump. It's an essential for performing full-body exercises with sound technique, so it's a good idea to spend some time strengthening them. To perform the clam shell, lie on your side with your knees bent and your feet together. Open your top knee away from your bottom knee. Try your best to focus on using those glute muscles to move your leg. Hip abductions are similar except your legs will be extended. Lift your top leg as high as you can. Like the clam shell, try not to move any other part of your body or shift position. Focus solely on using your glute to move your leg.

| Donkey Kick-Backs
| Donkey kicks strengthen your lower back and glutes. The upward-driving kicks, performed from a hands and knees position, target your glutes, but also work your hamstrings, hips and core. The weight of your legs provide resistance to strengthen these muscles as you push up against the downward force of gravity.

| Hip Thrust | Hip thrusts are a great movement if you're in the market for a firmer behind. Sure it's a little awkward doing these in the gym, but the burn you'll feel in your glutes will make you forget everyone else.

Depression - Can You Bring It To An End ?

By: Mark Anderson

Everybody gets sad once in a while. It’s normal to feel sad on a rainy day, get sentimental over a lost person, or feel lonely during really low moments of your life.

Once depression gets out of your hands, it can wreak destruction on your mental state and drive you to emotional lows. In the worst cases, depression can get you to the point that you might think about or even really choose to end your life. So if you think you’re experiencing extreme emotional lows, then you must do something about this.

But how would you know if it’s only a normal sadness or is it depression?

Depression shows some signs (symptoms): feeling sad without any apparent reason, getting mad at anything, everything, anyone, and everyone around you, thinking that your life has no purpose, feeling of failure, feeling that you’re not good enough for anything, always feeling tired, feeling that there is no more hope for solving your problems, - and the worst - feeling that you don’t deserve to live anymore.

These are some of the most common symptoms of depression. Recognizing these signs can help you to take action before it becomes more serious.

Knowing the root cause of these symptoms enhances the chances of recovery.

The reasons behind depression are always related with your state of mind, environment, and/or present circumstances. You may feel low if you are having issues at work, marriage or your financial balance. The process of resolving these problems may result in stress. And stress may cause physical symptoms: head aches, muscle aches, back aches. Emotional pain coupled with physical ills can really affect the way you view your life.

Depression can also be caused by bad experiences: the death of someone you love, loss of something significant, your kid having an accident, humiliating event at your workplace or school, traumatic environment at home. Some people manage to bypass easier unpleasant events, but some more sensitive persons are getting depressed and let these events to haunt them a long time.

The best way to treat depression is to think positively. Do like Herm Albright said: "A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.";-). Thinking negatively about a problem would only aggravate the problem – or at least the way you see it. You must think: "This is the problem. So what? The sun will rise again tomorrow morning, anyway." There is a solution to every problem, yours included. Sulking about the problem won’t do any good.

Unfortunately, not all people think that way. This is when depression shows it’s ugly face. You start thinking "I’m the unluckiest person alive. No one is there when I need help. It’s better to die than suffer all this miserable life…"

Do you think this way? If so, you need to go to a psychiatrist to ask for help. Various drugs can help you cope with depression. However, these medications treat not the actual cause of depression, but the symptoms. Complete recovery is only on your hands, but mostly on your ability to have a positive outlook in life. Of course this is much easier said than done. Asking for medication is not the first thing you must do when you go to a psychiatrist. The first thing you must ask your psychiatrist is help in developing a positive outlook and in controlling your depressive mood swings.

Depression is a serious disease. It causes emotional and mental breakdown, and it can result to suicide if left untreated. Depression should be diagnosed immediately. It is not a disorder that is easy to cure; but a depressive person must always remember: no one is alone in the world. Even if you live a very discreet and lonely life, there’s at least one person out there who cares for you. You’re a strong person. You’re not alone. Don’t let yourself lose the battle. Don’t let depression win. Keep your loved ones close to you and you will feel invincible.
