Due to time and space let me briefly point out that Revelation 17:10 show why there is going to be a final or seventh revival of this Holy Roman Empire; it says: “And there are seven kings, five are fallen, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh he must continue a short pace.” This is describing the five holy Roman system or its revival from the Emperor Justinian to Mussolini and the short-lived Mussolini -Hitler union; Mussolini believed he was the man who restored the Holy Roman empire. So far there has been six Revival of the Holy Roman empire, but there is to come a seventh and final resurrection of the empire and that would occur in our time or just as Christ is about to return to set up the ruling Government of God over the earth - in order to lead humanity into the way of lasting peace and happiness. YES! World peace or UTOPIA is coming SOON to planet earth - as Christ – the Prince of PEACE will FINALLY be here to teach and show humanity the way to true and LASTING HAPINESS, and we are living on the threshold or time when this GREATEST EVENT in the history of planet earth is soon to occur.

Europe to be United before our very Eyes!

Without going into detailed history of U.S - Europe relationship, let me just point out that we know that after World War II the North Atlantic Treaty was formed in 1949 to ensure collective security or for securing peace in Europe – to which Europe has long looked to America as the major force or power that would come to the aid of Europe should an aggressor nation such as Russia ever attack these Nato countries. But as you can see, that as time progresses, Europe has continue to lose its faith in America’s willingness to protect them from Russia; and this loss of faith or mistrust in America - which has been heightened by President Trump – who has been criticizing Europe – further alienating its NATO Allies, Europe is now FINALLY WAKING upon to GRIM REALITY they most likely will have to depend on themselves and abandon their long cherished trust that American would rise to their defense should such be required; and if you have been watching Europe, you will see that several nations in Europe are now building up their military, and it is from this YOU are going to see the EMERGENCE of these ten nations of Europe -as revealed in Revelation 17:10 -which says: “And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.”

This prophecy tells us that ten dictators are to arise in Europe and will have a short- lived time of power and prestige in this world-backed by the beast power -which will be a man or leader of great influence and cunning; these nations will give their allegiance to this soon coming super leader. This mean these nations are going to become militarily and economically strong-possibly rivaling the United States – who by that time, will be descending into a growing state of decline due to economic and political turmoil – along with other national woes that is coming -as we are going to enter a time of Great Depression and other national TROUBLES and WOES from which NO leader or president is going to be able to get us out from under.

The STARK REALITY is that this is where we are now headed; we are headed into a time of growing hostility between the United States and Europe, and I have been writing here on Article Biz– telling people about these things. I do try to do this because people do not have a true understanding of what is coming or what is supposed to happen Just before the second coming of Christ. For example, you have heard people say Christ could come next week or next month or this or that about the second coming of Christ, but they have ALL been wrong because not only does NO man know the day nor the hour of coming of Christ, but Chris is NOT going to come until these ten nations in Europe come together -as this is a MAJOR END TIME prophecy that has to be fulfilled before Christ comes. But I can tell you that when this European power comes to pass, we are certainly near the return of Jesus Christ, and we can know this because the Bible says this revived Roman empire is to make war against the returning Christ (See Revelation 17:14).

It is this union of nations that is going to be united with a great FALSE religious institution God calls “the great whore” (Revelation 17:1) who will be at its head. This whore or apostate church has longed aligned itself with the Roman empire and has been associated with the Roman empire – even placing the crown of authority on the head of Charlemagne; Pope Leo III declared Charlemagne as emperor of the Romans on December 25 800 AD. So, what we are going to see is a religious -political union take place in Europe; and I have long pointed out that we are going to see a Pope – possibly this current Pope – Pope Leo XIV, calling out in support of a United States of Europe; and as you can see that the current tension between the Pope and President Trump could add to that or even serve to speed up the fulfillment of these prophecies.

And when Europe is revived and this Church and state union comes together, the world is going to be plunged into the time of the GREAT TRIBULATION – for it will be a time when this great false Church is going to use its religious and political influence to force the Western world into accepting one dominant religious belief - to the extent that people will not be able to buy or sell – meaning to conduct business in order to make money to take care of one’s family unless you BEND to the dictates of this Church (Revelation 13:17).

This world is already changing before our very eyes as these prophecies of ALMIGHTY God is headed our way. But the GOOD NEWS is that when these things comes to pass, we can know the second coming of Christ is near -for Jesus said that it will be after the Great Tribulation that the people of planet earth will look up to heaven and see the GREAT SUPERNATURAL sign of his coming – with the sun turning to darkness and the moon not shining at all (see Matthew 24:29).

YES! The day of the second coming of Christ will not be bright sun-shiny day at all but will a day of thick darkness and gloominess all over this earth (see Joel 2:2). Zephaniah 1:15 says that day “is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, day of wasteness, and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, day of clouds and thick darkness.” Just think how FRIGHTENING and DEEPLY UNSETTLING for a sinful world; God is doing this to show his ABHORRENCE to the sins and wickedness of mankind and this world is going to be SORELY punished ; and let me say that God does not punish to get even with people- even as we humans tend to do, but He punishes to correct, to show us where we are going the wrong way, and because this is a stubborn and God rejecting world, God is going to give us harsh lessons to learn and when humanity has finally learned its lessons, then God is going to lead us in the path of peace and happiness, but before that happens, God is going to punish this world for its evil.

God’s true servants need not fear what is coming as they are going to be protected from what is coming upon the world. Watch events unfolding in Europe and watch for the Vatican to have closer ties with Europe and its politics. Jesus told us to watch and pray that we may be accounted worthy to escape all that is coming upon this world (Luke 21:36). I wonder just how many people get up each day and pray they may be accounted worthy to escape these things. Of course, it is those who have God’s indwelling Holy Spirit and are striving to live by every word of God that is going to be able to escape these things -as it is NOT everyone who calls Christ Lord is going to escape these things, but those who obey God; who keeps his Commandments.

Jacksonville Sharks (6-1) at Iowa Barnstormers (1-6)

Kickoff: Friday, May 22 at 8 p.m. EDT

Venue: Casey's Arena

A classic trap‑game dynamic awaits in Des Moines. The Jacksonville Sharks are riding high near the top of the standings, but they must avoid looking past an Iowa Barnstormers squad eager to play spoiler on its home turf.

James Cahoon has directed the Sharks offense with complete composure all season, ranking 6th in the IFL in passing yards (1,278) and 3rd in completion rate (68.3 percent). In Week 10, the offensive player of the week excelled at keeping the offense on schedule by completing 24 of 30 passes for 260 yards and five touchdowns. 

His primary perimeter target, Jaedon Stoshak, who has reached a rank of 7th in receiving yards (382), erupted for 101 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, Sammy Edwards built on his rank of 10th in the IFL in rushing yards (245) by finding the end zone three times on short yardage carries. 

Jacksonville's defense has been just as formidable, anchored by linebacker Isaiah Major. Major, who ranks 2nd in the IFL in tackles (69) this season, secured a crucial interception and logged five tackles last week, while defensive back John Huggins added nine tackles to push his season total to 58,  ranking 5th.

Iowa counters with a unique dual threat weapon in quarterback Dante Aviles-Santos. Last week, Aviles-Santos kept the defense guessing by rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries while adding 51 passing yards and a 30 yard touchdown pass. 

Running back David Elder has provided excellent balance, matching that consistency in Week 10 with 71 rushing yards and a 19 yard touchdown burst on 13 carries.

Wide receiver Kurtis Ravenel supplied the vertical spark by finishing with 30 receiving yards and hauling in the 30 yard touchdown pass. 

To pull off the upset, the Barnstormers need a massive performance from their defensive front. In Week 10, Austin Edmonds and Ahman Ross each recorded four stops to anchor the interior, while Tyler Tate consistently pressured the pocket and notched a crucial sack.

If Iowa can disrupt Cahoon early, it can turn this into a four quarter dogfight.

Tulsa Oilers (2-5) at San Antonio Gunslingers (3-4)

Time is running out for both the Tulsa Oilers and San Antonio Gunslingers, turning this matchup into a do or die for each team's playoff push. The question becomes which defensive backfield can adjust first to slow two of the league's most explosive passing attacks.

San Antonio's plans to protect its home field face a massive hurdle after quarterback Joaquin Collazo—who ranks 8th in the IFL with 1,012 passing yards—was placed on short-term IR.

The Gunslingers' secondary is also shuffling after placing DB Marcis Floyd on short-term IR and releasing Jaylon Jemmerson, responding quickly by signing defensive backs Jabari Hawkins and Ronnie Beard. 

Adding defensive flavor to this rivalry, San Antonio executed a trade with Tulsa to acquire wide receiver Jahlani Billingsley, giving them an instant weapon who knows the opponent intimately.

Tulsa reloaded its own arsenal for quarterback TJ Edwards, who ranks 5th in the IFL in passing yards (1,310) and 8th in rushing yards (295). Edwards, who threw for three touchdowns and zero interceptions in Week 10, will welcome newly signed Baylor standout wideout Ketron Jackson Jr. to the arsenal of offensive weapons. 

The Oilers also shored up Edwards' protection by acquiring offensive lineman Daizion Carroll in the Billingsley trade.

Tulsa's defensive front gets a massive boost with the signing of 325-pound defensive lineman Akeem Smith to offset losing Devin Brandt-Epps to short-term IR. 

The Oilers defense expects to step up, building on Week 10 performances where secondary standout Fredrick Mallay led Tulsa with seven solo tackles, a forced fumble, and an interception, while Alphonso Taylor added five stops. 

Look out for playmaker Caleb Ramseur, who registered 66 rushing yards and a 30-yard touchdown last week for the Oilers.

Expect a high scoring game where the team that forces the final takeaway keeps its season alive.

NAZ Wranglers (1-6) at San Diego Strike Force (5-2)

The Wranglers defense showed major growth and just received a massive injection of depth; the team activated defensive back Brandon Luper and linebacker Carl Ware from short-term IR to cushion the loss of Dywan Griffin. They join a surging unit where Kalen Hicks, who ranks 6th in the IFL in tackles (49), led a physical effort with a seven-tackle performance last week alongside game-altering interceptions from Trae'Varis Ferrell and Kieran Page.

San Diego represents a significant step up in competition, powered by veteran quarterback Nate Davis. Davis, who ranks 4th in the IFL in passing yards (1,382) this season, completed 20 of 38 passes for 180 yards and four touchdowns in Week 10.

To fortify their depth at secondary, the Strike Force signed defensive back Jamori Colson,balancing out the loss of DB Jalani Jefferson who sits on short-term IR. 

Running back Tyrell Greene Jr., who ranks 11th in the IFL in rushing yards (238) this season, added tough interior yards last week, compiling 41 rushing yards, a touchdown, and 49 receiving yards. 

Wide receiver Dallas Daniels, who ranks 6th in the IFL in receiving yards (388) this season, continued to move the chains with 97 yards and two touchdowns. 

Defensively, the Strike Force rely on Adam Anderson and Devin Hafford, who locked down the perimeter last week; Anderson tallied five tackles, and Hafford broke up two critical passes.

San Diego has the edge on paper, but containing a confident quarterback like Garrett will test its discipline.

New Mexico Chupacabras (1-6) vs. Orlando Pirates (4-3)

While the ultimate prize eluded them in the tournament semifinals, the New Mexico Chupacabras and Orlando Pirates will meet in the IFL Cup Consolation Game with plenty left to prove. The matchup offers a compelling contrast of styles, pitting the league's stingiest scoring defense against its most prolific passing offense.

New Mexico has built its identity on a defense that allows a league low 34.8 points per game. In the semifinal round, defensive back Jacious Clark recorded six solo stops, while linebacker Wesley Bowers added six tackles to limit yards after the catch. 

Offensively, the Chupacabras need more consistency from quarterback Harrison Roubidoux, who completed 9 of 21 passes for 128 yards, one touchdown, and four interceptions. Roubidoux showed strong chemistry in Week 10 with wide receiver Damon Street, who delivered five catches for 103 yards and a score. 

If New Mexico can control the clock with its rushing rotation, it can frustrate the Orlando sideline.

The Pirates want to get back to lighting up the scoreboard behind Paxton DeLaurent, who ranks 2nd in the IFL in passing yards (1,446) and 1st in the IFL in completion percentage (75.4 percent) this season. In the semifinal round, DeLaurent completed 19 of 27 passes for 206 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Explosive running back Pooka Williams, who logged four carries for 16 yards and a rushing score out of the backfield, and targeted Nyqwan Murray, who ranks 3rd in the IFL in receiving yards (512) this season. 

The Orlando defense features linebacker Mike Mason, who ranks 3rd in the IFL in tackles (61) this season, alongside Jay Pearson, who ranks 4th in the IFL in tackles (51) this season.

This game will hinge on whether Orlando's quick strike passing can crack New Mexico's disciplined defensive shell.

The Knight Hawks counter with an offense that scores 53.8 points per game. Quarterback Jayden DeLaura captains the system with MVP style numbers so far this season: 958 passing yards and 71 touchdowns while completing 74.8 percent of his throws. DeLaura dictated the tempo in Week 10 by scoring three rushing touchdowns alongside multiple passing scores against Orlando. 

Running back Josh Tomas scored both on the ground and through the air last week, while wideout Senika McKie hauled in a key touchdown to stretch the defense. 

The Vegas defense leans on Irshaad Davis, who has logged 44 tackles this year, and Clifton Duck, who shifted momentum last week with a critical interception.

The Rock Almighty Friday Wake-Up Call: should Women Preach? And Renew Your Mind This Weekend! The Global Pizza Party?

Should Women Preach?

I read a survey that says that said more than 12% of all pastors are women and that women pastors have increased over the years. Also, an article came out in the Washington Post on 10/ 2/ 2023 pointed out that women in the Catholic Church wanted to have greater say in the church; and one of the issues was that they wanted right to preach at Mass and be ordained as priests. But have you ever looked into the Bible to see what God reveals on this matter? Putting prejudice or personal feelings aside, let us honestly and carefully look at the Bible to understand the truth as to whether or not women has been called to preach and to be leaders over men in church.

Woman Created to be Helper to the Man

In Genesis 2:18, God declared that it was not good for man to be alone, and in verse 20 it tells us that “there was not found an help meet for him” (Adam). So, we know God created the woman to be man’s helper. These are not my words, but the words of God and the intent in which he created the women. I know there are women in today’s world that may take offense to this, but it happens to be true that woman was to be man’s helper.

But instead of being an help to the man, the woman (Eve) took her own initiative by walking over to the tree that had the forbidden fruit – taken of that fruit -disobeying God and then she tried to be the boss over the man Adam – by enticing him to also eat of the fruit – of which the weak man – Adam - who should be the head over the wife, did also eat. Because the women did this grave act of disobedience, God told the woman that he would multiply her sorrow and that her desire would be to her husband, and he would rule over her (Gen. 3:16). These are God’s words-not human opinion. God had made the man first-in His direct image, as God is always spoken of in the masculine gender. God had made the man physically stronger, and with every necessary quality to be the woman’s leader. Adam knew that the woman was to be his helper-and he the head over her, but now that the woman had taken the initiative without consulting her husband, and had sinned and then led the man to also sin, and because of this, God made their status very clear that it was the husband who should rule over the woman and not the other way around.

Today, we live in a world where men have given up their God given right to be the head or leader in the family – with all of this leading to broken homes, juvenile delinquency and an upside down family because the woman, in many cases, have become the boss or leader; the women wear the pants; the men, through weakness, have caved in – allowing women to become the boss; we are seeing this in all phases of life – especially here in the United States – where women have become leaders over the man – holding many positions of authority in the business world and in government; we are at this moment just one heartbeat away from a woman (Mrs. Kamala Harris) becoming the leader or president of the greatest single nation this world has ever known. In Isaiah 3:12, God says, “As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them.”

For ordinary men and women who just want to know how to handle
a situation if the worst ever happens to them… or their family

The heart of the matter is that God has ordained that man be the head over his wife, and when men and women forsake or ignore God’s system or standard of authority, then it is going to result in heartache and suffering; it will lead to broken homes; broken lives – affecting just about every aspect of the husband and wife’s relationship but I know that people, in general, does not consider these things.

Should Women Preach?

But now we come to the heart of the subject in question: Should women preach? Should they have a ministerial role as leader over men in this capacity?

In the Bible – especially in the Old Testament, men were regarded as the direct representative of God over the creation and the woman was recognized as his helper – from which she received honor and blessing through her husband who is the ordained or God constituted head of the family.

Think on this: God called Moses (not a woman) to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt, and when it came time for God’s priesthood, God chose Aaron and his sons; Exodus 29:9 says, “… and the priest’s office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.” In every case, God chose men to be the spokesman or leader; he did not choose women to be a leader or preacher. This is totally different than what we see in the world today. Now some may want to say the world of Moses’s time was old fashioned system, but this has nothing to do with old fashioned, but it is between our ways and God’s ways – as revealed in the word of God. In other words, it is people who have changed and departed from the ways God intended us to walk in - because God’s word is consistent even to our time.

I want to point out that while gentile nations have their queens or women ruling over them, but at no time did God ever appoint a woman as Queen or to any administrative office either in the nation of Israel or in the New Testament Church; just look in the New Testament scripture you will see no mention of a woman pastor or preacher of such kind.

Prophetess

You may reason saying -what about some women like Deborah and Miriam who were called prophetess, were they not part of God’s ministry? The answer is no. Those women who were viewed as prophetess in both the Old and New Testament were simply used to carry a message to one of his servants or people, but it was never in the capacity of preaching or exercising authority over them. For example, Exodus 15: 20;21 tells us that Miriam the prophetess “took a timbrel in her hand and all the women went out after her with timbrel and with dances. And Miriam answered them, sing ye to the Lord, for her hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.” As you can see, Miriam encouraged the women to sing praise to God, but she was never called to preach to men or to have any kind of authority over them.

If you also consider the case of the prophetess Deborah -who was on the scene in a time when “… there was no king in Israel, but everyman did that which was right in his own eyes” (Judges 17:6). This was a time when there was no man to lead and guide the people; they lacked leadership; and so, we read in Judges 4:4: “And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.”

Since no man had the courage and leadership to master the situation and take the initiative, Deborah-being a prophetess and knowing God’s will- reminded Barak, “Hath not the Lord God of Israel commanded . . .” And she proceeded to remind him-not command him, because she had no such authority over the men - of what God had commanded should be done. Barak, being a weakling and too fearful to exercise his God-given responsibility of leadership, told her, “If thou wilt go with me, then I will go but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go” (verse 8). Knowing full well that Barak ought to be man enough to carry out this responsibility without having to cling to the skirt of a woman, Deborah told him: “I will surely go with thee: not- withstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honor; for the Lord shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman” (verse 9).

Deborah herself-a righteous a righteous and God-fearing woman-had no desire at all to usurp man’s responsibility for leadership, and her own words betray how ashamed she must have felt of her men, who were so weak that she had to “mother” them along to get them to carry out God’s will. She later sang of this national tragedy saying: “The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I arose a MOTHER in Israel” (Judges 5:7).

The truth is that women are not at all called to preach; they have not been called to be leaders over men. God has ordained that the man be the head of the family; it is man’s God given role and responsibility to do so, but in our society today, men have seemingly relinquished this authority – allowing the women to step up and become the leader; men have become weak – lacking the will or the knowledge to understanding why and how they should be the head of the family; God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge …” (Hosea 4:6).

God made man the head not because the man is better than the woman; No, not at all, God ordained it this way so it would bring humanity happiness and the joyful way of living for the man and the woman, and it would be an example to the children on how to live so they too would come to bring up their own families in a God ordained way. God expect the man to cherish, honor and respect his wife in every way; man has not been called to be some kind of tyrannical head over the wife, but to be a loving, respectful man who honors and cherishes his wife; and she in turn, would prove to be a wonderful help meet to the man. But women of today wants no part of what God says, they want to be the boss over men; they want to take the lead and feminize the man as much as they can. We have come to the point in our society where it is considered ridiculous to say the man should be the head of the family; who knows, maybe some who read this article may even scoff and jeer at what is said here, and may even want to think of me as someone having a kind of male chauvinistic kind of thinking or ideology, but that would be far from the truth. What they are failing to see that God has given the man and woman relationship to bring us happiness and a peaceful and productive way of living, but this world has rejected that, and it is the reason what we have so much broken homes and juvenile delinquent in this nation. Thankfully Jesus Christ is coming to set up the Government of God over the earth – where humans are going to be taught the right and proper way to live; in this soon coming worldwide Government of God, women will no longer seek to compete against the man, but will come to learn that the way which truly produces lasting happiness peace in the home and society - is to live the way God intended man and woman to live. No, women are not called to be preachers.

The Rock Almighty Wake Up Call. Were Adam and Eve Real People? And LA's Moment Of Truth And Yours?

 

Why do so many people have doubts regarding the Adam and Eve Story in the Bible?

In my experience the situation has come about because of two reasons. One reason is the widespread belief in the theory of evolution as an alternative explanation for creation. The second reason is the prevailing ignorance of the Bible and its history. This ignorance is largely due to the failure of the religious clergy, who have basically abandoned their flocks to atheism and the evolution theory.

These clergymen themselves have doubts regarding the Bible's authenticity. I personally had an experience during the 1950's that well illustrates this point. I was discussing the Bible with the Governor General of South Africa at that time. He told me that he was very good friends with the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Archbishop had told him that one should study the Bible like one eats fish. One must spit out the bones. I was shocked, because the Archbishop of Canterbury was the head of the church of England. Imagine, if the head of a church had that attitude then what chance did the members of that church have of ever learning the truth about the Bible.

The Clergy and Evolution

A further investigation of the subject indicates that many of the clergymen of those early days of the 20th century started out as God-fearing Bible believers, but they were exposed to a form of scholarship at their respective seminaries known as the "Higher Criticism." The proponents of this school of biblical criticism, because of their belief in the evolution theory, believed that religion simply evolved from what they called animism, (the primitive worship of the forces of nature) then to polytheism (the worship of many Gods) and then to monotheism (the highest form of worship, the worship of one God). These evolutionists assumed that the Bible is merely a record of man's evolutionary development. Although teachers of religions God did not enter their equation. They accepted the evolution theory as fact and because of the anti-Bible bias in their teaching, destroyed the faith of their students. Thus many sincere men that at one time had faith in the Bible, had their faith destroyed at these seminaries. After all one is supposed to believe what the teacher teaches. As all this occurred during the early part of the 20th century, today many of those men, now clergymen are of little use in building faith in the Bible. They are being looked up to, as representing Christianity, God and the Bible, but do not whole-heartedly believe in the Bible preferring to believe that man's religion today is just part of his evolutionary development. Thus the Adam and Eve Story becomes a quaint mythological story, and the Bible merely a reflection of what men in ancient times believed. That is why these men meddle in politics, looking for materialist solutions to human problems. they further introduced confusion into the equation because of merely using selected scripture texts to support their own traditional church teachings instead of allowing the Bible to explain itself.

Science and Creation

As I have stated in some of my other articles on this site the first question that should be considered in regard to a religious discussion is the question of whether one believes in God or not. The answer is fundamentally very simple to answer. That the universe and ourselves exist is not open to question, but the question is were they always here or did they have a beginning. Evolutionist are still trying to find alternative theories to counter the scientific evidence available which shows that the universe did have a beginning. The most recent alternative theory was "the oscillating universe theory. However this theory has been disproved by more recent evidence that the expansion of the universe is speeding up and not slowing down as the theory requires.

Now once you have a creator you cannot put limitations on his creative powers. The wisdom, power and creative ability to create a universe is so great that our creator could not be human or suffer from human limitations. Our Creator must lay outside creation and because matter only came into existence at creation, he must exist in a form higher than matter. That is why we refer to God as a spirit being. Questions like "who created God" are irrelevant because logic shows that nothing can arise from nothing and so the original cause of creation had always to be there, That question is only asked to create doubt in God's existence, and so once we have established that the creation had a beginning, and that God's existence is established, the question becomes irrelevant.

Adam and Eve & Population Increase

With regard to the Adam and Eve story, one has only to consider the rate of population growth to see that this not only supports the idea of one perfect human pair at the beginning but it also becomes a problem for the evolutionist.

If we consider the time available for population growth, Bible time allows for a little over 6000 years whereas the evolution time scale allows for millions of years. Which do you think is the most reasonable in the light of facts.

In 1975 according to the Bible's count of time approximately, six thousand years have passed counting from man's creation.

At present in 2008 the world population is just under seven billion.

In 1975 the population was about three and a half billion.

The population reached about one billion by 1830 C.E. .

Now if the population rose from one billion to minus seven billion in a little over 170 years, and yet, the first billion was only reached after 5830 years (in bible time) then the rate of growth is escalating today. Bear in mind that this was in spite of the occurrence of wars and epidemics, which might have slowed the growth somewhat. This is quite a reasonable figure, yet 5830 years is a long time to reach one billion compared to the latest increases.

How does this fit in with evolutionary reasoning? It has been scientifically ascertained from archaeology that humans have been capable of writing and producing a civilization for at least 6000 years. This indicates that according to the evolution theory man has evolved very little during the past 6000 years. With mankind evolving so slowly it becomes apparent that the first true men could have arrived many thousands or perhaps a million years earlier. Which period of time is the most reasonable to arrive at the first billion? The 5830 years, which already appears to be a very slow population increase, or the many more thousands or even millions of years provided by the evolution theory.? Also remember that evolution claims that man's speech arose from grunts and growls and gradually evolved into more complex languages. The presence of the many ancient complex languages like ancient Hebrew and others also indicates that according to evolution theory, intelligent humans should have developed much simpler languages a long time earlier and therefore the evidence is clear that if evolution was true then the population growth would have been so great that we would probably have populated the entire solar system by now.

The present population therefore favors the biblical count of time which would make it reasonable for the Adam and Eve story to be the more logical beginning for population growth. Obviously one has to have two matched humans, male and female to start population growth.

Adam and Eve and DNA

What would be the chances of a blind mindless force like natural selection evolving two humans completely different in emotional and physical makeup and yet matched genetically so well as to be able to reproduce? Humans cannot reproduce with apes. The genetic code in the DNA does not allow it, The genetic match must be perfect. That is why the Bible's statement in Genesis is a scientific fact. Creatures only produce after their kind. Dogs only reproduce with dogs. Humans can only reproduce with humans. That is why it is logical to understand that the genetic factors in humans show that we are all related to one another no matter what racial characteristics are in evidence. Evolutionists only theorize that the "kind: barrier" can be overcome, however it has never ever been observed to actually occur. Therefore we may ask which is the more scientific explanation, the Bible's observation regarding the reproduction being limited to "kinds" or the evolution theory of unlimited reproduction that is necessary for evolution to be true? I would venture that the Bible is more scientific. In fact the evolutionist version is purely religious, being an article of faith without proof whereas the Bible provides statements of scientific truth,

By going back into the past we logically come to a time when the human race came from a single human pair. However some persons question how all human kind with all the different races could have originated from one human pair, but this is perfectly in harmony with science. The racial characteristics are merely caused by the fact, that as people moved to different areas of the earth the gene pool shrank and certain characteristics were emphasized.

What was Adam?

Genesis records that God created Adam from the earth. The problem with the religious teaching regarding this is the definition of man that the religions have ascribed to man. Nearly all professed Christian religions teach that man is composed of an immortal soul that cannot die and a fleshly body that is subject to death. However this is not a Bible teaching. Genesis 2:7 says that the man "became a soul" and not that a soul was put into him. Logically if a person becomes a doctor then he is a doctor and so if a man becomes a soul then he is a soul. By examining an Analytical Concordance like Young's we find that the word immortal only appears in the Bible four times and is never used with regard to the Hebrew and Greek words for soul.

By contrast when God judged Adam for his sin God explained what Adam was. He said "for dust you are and to dust you will return." (Gen. 3:19). The Bible hope for the future of man is a resurrection or recreation of the individual rather than survival of an immortal soul. Such an achievement would be child's play for the God who created this universe. Furthermore, the findings of medical science agree with the Bible's definition of man. Scientists have never found any entity that survives the body. Religions regard the soul as the real you, capable of thought and capable of influencing the living. However the thinking ability does not exist apart from the body and this is shown by the fact that if persons suffer brain damage it affects their thinking ability.

Were Adam and Eve real people? Evidently, the writer of Luke's Gospel believed that Adam was real because when tracing Jesus ancestry at Luke Chapter 3 he tracers it right back to Adam (Luke 3:38 ) the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.

The Jews at that time recorded very accurate records of their ancestry in their temple archives because their priests were selected from the tribe of Levi and the royal line was traced through Judah and David. Therefore when we read that Luke traced all things with accuracy (Luke 1:1-3) we can be certain that he was able to consult those records. As it was important for Jesus to have come from the line of David, both Mary and Joseph, his parents had to fulfill this requirement. Any Jew at any time in their history could check the manuscripts with the records at the temple and so confirm that the genealogies were correct, this also provides circumstantial evidence of the Bible's truthfulness and accuracy. Furthermore any Jew living at the time when Jesus was on earth would have been able to check the ancestry of Jesus for himself. As the three and a half years of Jesus' ministry, and the first three and a half years of the apostle's ministry after Pentecost was only to the Jews, we can be sure that the vast increase of Jewish converts confirm that the genealogy of Jesus was correct. It was only after the year 70 CE with the destruction of their temple and their genealogical records, that Jews today cannot trace their ancestry.

Once we deny Adam's existence then we might ask who was Seth's father? Furthermore Jesus himself obviously believed that Adam and Eve were real people because in his discussion on divorce he used their reality as a factual example. (Mark 10:6-12) . . .However, from [the] beginning of creation ‘He made them male and female. 7 On this account a man will leave his father and mother, 8 and the two will be one flesh’; so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God yoked together let no man put apart." 10 When again in the house the disciples began to question him concerning this. 11 And he said to them: "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her, 12 and if ever a woman, after divorcing her husband, marries another, she commits adultery."

I seriously question a person's claim to being a Christian, if he doubts that Adam and Eve were real people, because the founder of Christianity accepted it and could trace his lineage back to Adam. Of course many clergymen do doubt Adam and Eve's existence so one wonders what kind of Christians they are.

Were Adam and Eve Married?

With regard to the question of whether Adam and Eve parented the whole human race, the scripture tells us at Gen 3:20 that Adam called his wife's name Eve because she was to "become the mother of all living"

Gen, 2:22-24 and Gen. 3:19 also answer the question of who married Adam and Eve. When God created the woman, Gen, 2;22-24 says that God brought the woman to the man. Then it says that man showed his joy by composing a poem in which he showed that he understood that the woman was of his flesh and bone and named her woman which means a man with a womb. He also referred to her as his wife and at Gen 3:19 said that he called his wife's name Eve. This means that God's bringing the woman to the man constituted the marriage ceremony at that time.

How about the first humans marrying their own relatives? From a scientific perspective this is also scientifically correct. Science has discovered that the genes in the DNA get damaged periodically by cosmic rays and other radiation collisions. This has resulted in the deterioration of the genetic code causing individuals to have a predisposition to certain disease. Logically if we go back in time we find less and less damage done to the DNA until we should arrive at a time when the first humans had very little damage to their DNA. At this stage there would have been no danger for humans to marry close relatives.

About Marrying Relatives

Some persons are under the impression that Adam and Eve had only two sons Cain and Abel, and so the question arises as to who they married. However once again this demonstrates the failure of the religious clergy who have not taught their flocks the truth. Gen. 4:25 says that Eve also bore Seth. At Genesis 6:3,4 the Bible states that Adam had "sons and daughters" and that Seth was born when Adam was 130 years old. Adam is further reported as living to 930 years old. Some have problems with the vast ages that the Bible supplies, but again it is scientifically perfectly reasonable. If our genes have been damaged physically so that today we are mere shadows of what we used to be it is quite reasonable to comprehend that the damaged genes are also responsible for the short lengths of our lives. In fact there are experiments being conducted today because some scientist think that they have discovered which genes control the lifespans of an individual. Of course there are also other factors which bear on this.

At Leviticus 18:7-18 God showed that with the introduction of his law to the nation of Israel through Moses, close relatives were not to marry each other. So God provided the first basic safeguard against genetic degeneration. Remember that the microscope had not been invented nor was there any scientific knowledge of genetics at that time yet God gave the Israelites a law that protected them from genetic degeneration. In this way the Israelites were protected from an increase of inherited diseases. Another example of Divine guidance as the Israelites had no way of knowing this fact without God's help.

Adam's Rib

Why did God fashion the woman from one of Adam's ribs? This was important to God's purpose. It meant that all other humans basically came from Adam. God made Eve from Adam's rib and the rest of the human race came from Adam and Eve's body through the normal process of procreation. So the act of forming the woman from Adam's rib fulfilled two functions. The first was that Adams and Eve's DNA were basically the same. Secondly, God introduced the principle of headship to man. Adam was created first, then the woman came to be out of the man and was formed to be his helper. or helpmate. Adams conduct could therefore affect all the members of the human race, which it did. If Adam had remained faithful he could have passed on perfection to his offspring. God withdrew his protection from Adam and so he began to succumb to the 2nd law of thermodynamics As he was now dying albeit being a slow process, we could only inherit the same dying process in our bodies. As he sinned before any of his children were born we all inherited imperfection and death from him. By Adam sinning he squandered our life rights and condemned us to this sorry condition that has been aggravated by thousands of years of falling away from perfection. If God in his mercy wanted to legally return those lost rights to us, so that we could have the same opportunity to live forever, Justice demanded a price of equal value to Adam. This was the ransom provision. How could God provide such a price without creating a new man and so conceding that the human race was a failure.? God accomplished this by selecting a faithful spirit son who was willing to perform this service for his father by coming to earth and providing the sacrificial offering. To accomplish this the son would have to be human. God performed a miracle by transferring the son's life pattern into the womb of a faithful Jewish virgin. As a perfect human son with God for his father Jesus now possessed the same rights that Adam had had when perfect. This included the right to have a perfect human family. His death as a faithful son balanced the scales of justice. After being resurrected to heaven he also now possessed the right to a perfect human family. The ransom provided Adam's children with the opportunity to be judged in perfection.

Once one accepts that God exists and has created the universe, it should be a simple matter to understand that before God created the universe he had already created other creatures in the same form as himself which is spirit. As the details concerning the rebellion that broke out in the universe has been discussed in other articles on this site, I will not go into details. Apparently one of these spirit creatures developed a bad spirit (attitude), rebelled and tried to use Adam and Eve's creation to challenge God's authority. God's way of handling the matter was to give the rebel a full opportunity to prove his case. His failure would then prove God true and vindicate God's universal sovereignty. Unfortunately we humans have been made the center of the issue by this rebel whom God labeled Satan, which means "Adversary" or opposer.

Without the Bible we would never have understood why mankind suffers today, however God fully intends rectifying the matter once certain issues have been settled. Unfortunately Satan has introduced false ideas to get humans to disobey God just as he did to Adam and Eve.. It is necessary for us all to get accurate knowledge so as to combat these deceptions.
