Proverbs 3:5-6

When we believe we have heard from the Lord, it is important to ask clarifying questions:

Is the message consistent with Scripture? God will never tell you to do something that goes against His perfect, unchanging Word. If you feel called to take an action that is contrary to Scripture, you can be certain that it isn’t the Lord urging you.

Can you confidently ask God to enable you to do this? If you feel uneasy about asking for the Lord’s help and empowerment, that may be a sign the voice wasn’t God’s. We should be honored—not ashamed—to ask the Lord to equip us.

Does it fit with your identity in Christ? We are the children of God, who are being conformed into the likeness of Christ. If you feel led to do something that doesn’t reflect the image of Jesus, then you can be sure God hasn’t called you to do it.

Our heavenly Father will never leave His children on their own (Deuteronomy 31:6)—He is with each believer right now. Know that the Holy Spirit is present, enabling you to hear, and His voice will remain clear, no matter what questions you may have. There is no rush; when the Lord speaks, take your time listening to be certain you’re hearing from Him.

The Matt Walsh Show: 'What Is A Woman’ Wins The Free Speech Battle |

DailyWire+

Today on the Matt Walsh Show, it was an epic battle for free speech at Twitter, as we posted our film What Is a Woman and got immediately tagged with the "hate speech" label. But in the end, the left's attempts to yet again censor and suppress our message only backfired in a big way. We'll talk about everything that has happened in the one of the most wild 24 hour stretches in the history of the Daily Wire. Also, Glamour Magazine has an interview with a pregnant man -- who is not actually a man at all. And Joe Biden tries to walk across a flat surface and falls on his face. What does it say about America that we have a senile dementia patient who can't speak or walk in the White House?

Obeying God: What Is Involved?

Complete obedience is possible only through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Daniel 1:3-16

Right away in the first chapter of the book of Daniel, we learn that the young man is committed to obedience. Scripture says Daniel “made up his mind” and successfully followed through. But any Christian could tell you obedience isn’t simple or easy.

Obedience means doing what God says in the timing and manner He says to do it. In order to obey, we must know what pleases the Lord—and that requires us to read and be familiar with Scripture. Then we trust the Holy Spirit to help us understand God’s Word and to guide us. That’s usually when challenges arise.

There are often temptations to choose other directions or to compromise by taking small steps of half-obedience. And none of us is perfect, so there will be times when we miss the mark (Romans 3:23). Then, what’s important is that we turn to God. At such times, we can use King David as a guide and pray, “Create in me a clean heart, God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10). And remember that ultimately, the goal of obedience is to remain near to God, no matter how many mistakes we make.

The Power of Corporate Prayer

We all need the encouragement, wisdom, and strength that come from seeking the Lord together.

2 Chronicles 20:13-30

Yesterday we studied how King Jehoshaphat prayed. Today let’s take a look at the people he prayed with.

Trouble loomed—Judah’s army paled in comparison to the forces united against them. Jehoshaphat, recognizing his limitations, knew it was essential to call on God for help. So he reached out to his nation, and prayer support came from all across the land (2 Chron. 20:13).

Sometimes we’re too proud to ask others to pray with us. When that happens, it’s wise to consider Jehoshaphat’s example: Though a king who reigned over his subjects, he nevertheless called on them to join him in seeking divine intervention. Then, when the people of Judah began to pray, God provided His solution through a prophet—and Jehoshaphat had enough humility to listen and follow instructions (vv. 14-21). As a result, his people were saved. The advancing armies turned against each other and destroyed themselves completely. But Judah’s forces suffered zero casualties—all without shooting an arrow or drawing a sword. Their humble king had listened, and they witnessed the Lord’s remarkable victory (vv. 22-30).

God sometimes says things we’re not expecting to hear. But our life in Christ is most rewarding when the body of Christ listens to Him and cooperates with one another.

Hold The Line w/Sean Feucht Masculine Virtues America NEEDS | Senator Josh Hawley

Senator Josh Hawley (MO) is a constitutional lawyer and national best-selling author. He sits down with Sean to discuss his new book, Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs. Hawley argues that the character of men and the male virtue that goes along with it is a necessary ingredient to a functioning society and a healthy, free republic. In a time when masculinity is described as “toxic,” it has never been more important to rediscover true masculine virtues that American freedom literally depends on. Senator Hawley calls on American men to stand up and embrace their God-given responsibility as husbands, fathers, and citizens.
