The MLB On US Sports Net Presented by Hitchfit Featuring: Giants-Dodgers 2021 Highlights (NLDS Game 5 preview - IT ALL COMES DOWN TO TONIGHT!)

Keto Vs Hitch Fit

Over the last few years many people have jumped on the Keto train using it as a way to drop weight quickly.  There are some major flaws with this style of nutrition. Im going to breakdown Keto vs Hitch Fit and show you an amazing transformation.

Keto-Vs-Hitch-Fit

Keto Vs Hitch Fit

The 1st issue is you have to pull out a majority of your carbs.  When you do this you do drop weight but what kind of weight are you losing?  Are you losing muscle, in many situations yes. Water weight, yes of course. Yes you may lose some fat too but how muscle muscle is sacrificed?  Losing muscle will lower your overall metabolism, which is not good.

The 2nd issue is at some point you will want to have carbs again so the body will rebound especially if you bring them back quickly and bad carbs, its normal for people to gain all their weight back they lost with keto and more.

The 3rd issue is what is called keto flu, some people get this and others do not but the ones that do feel very sick early, it can take a few weeks to get through this. Also make sure to monitor your minerals and vitamins because you are eliminating carbs you will lose some important essentials things for the body.

The 4th issue – A long-term observational study in over 130,000 adults linked animal-based low carb /high fat diets to higher rates of death from heart disease, cancer, and all causes

Are there some benefits to Keto, Yes.. If you have epilepsy it has been found to control seizures it also has been found to help drop blood sugar levels.

Knowing these things and understanding the human body here at Hitch Fit we stick with balanced nutrition so that the body has a variety of different healthy carbs, fats and proteins.  Something that is more lifestyle based.  Each of the macros have essential things that are important for the body so its never good to pull one out for an extended time period.  If you do just understand there is a consequence.   Another huge benefit is looking and feeling your best.. Chad’s results prove this but his testimonial talks about the difference in how he feels.

Here we are, 10 years later, and she decided that it was time to take charge of her health, for herself, for her family. And at age 45, she DID it.
Shana has gone through two Hitch Fit plans now. She started off with a Lose Weight Feel Great, and decided she wanted to continue on with the Bikini plan. She has shed OVER 50 POUNDS!
Her results for this Over 40 Inspiring 50 Pound Weight Loss results are jaw dropping and life changing!

Shana’s Hitch Fit Transformation Story and Review:
I was introduced to Hitch Fit over 10 years ago. I had just had my 4th baby and knew I wanted to get back in shape after my pregnancy. I had lost weight after my 4th baby but struggled to lose the rest of my post-baby weight.
I was searching for something to help me and came across Hitch Fit! I started their Lose Weight Feel Great program and was doing what I felt was awesome shedding that last baby weight, and then the unthinkable happened. My 3-year-old daughter Ava fell seriously ill and a month later she passed away.
I was devastated, lost, and broken…..For the last 10 years, I continue to deal with the grief, but over that time I just stopped caring about myself to put it in simple terms.
I focused my energies on supporting and helping my children who were 10, 5, and 1 at the time through their grief of losing their sister along with my husband and me trying to navigate this new normal in our lives.
Over the last 10 years, my weight fluctuated all the time. I would gain and then lose and then gain and then lose but never really stuck to anything.
This year marked the 10 year anniversary of my daughter gaining her angel wings and I finally decided that I was sick and tired of being sick and tired and decided to commit to Hitch Fit once and for all!
I reached out to Diana and Micah and so glad I did as I feel like I am regaining myself again!
I knew it would take commitment and hard work especially with the weight loss goals I had for myself and not to say I didn’t falter once, twice, or many times, but always reminded myself of what my goal was at the end to keep me motivated.
In the beginning, it was HARD! I hadn’t done much exercising or really watching what I ate for a very long time!
The days, in the beginning, were hard, but I wrote my goal on sticky notes and placed them on my mirror to remind me every day of what I wanted and needed for myself.
After a few weeks, everything then started to really become a habit.
The workouts were always challenging as I went along my journey.....Keep reading.......

This Youngster Is Real Good At Hitting Them Where They Ain't! And Learn How to Get Faster and Dominate Any Sport You Play

Learn How to Get Faster and Dominate Any Sport You Play

  • Author James Green
When you know how to move swiftly, you can dominate virtually any sport you play.

Whether you play football, run track, play soccer or basketball, increasing your speed and agility will dramatically improve your game. Learning the techniques for getting faster is not just for running sports. Sure, when an individual thinks about getting faster, he or she normally thinks of running. In the majority of popular sports, a player will use his or her legs the most, but other sports exist where running is not prevalent, but speed is still important.

Swimming

In this sport, you are using almost all your body parts. You also need to constantly work against the resistance of the water, and this is not an easy task. Swimmers who learn to get faster will discover strength training techniques that will help them glide through the water. These techniques will also help them improve their starting time so they can have a serious advantage over their opponents.

Self Defense

Any athlete involved in a sport where defending yourself is the main objective will benefit from getting faster. This includes boxing and wrestling along with the martial arts. Being fast will allow the person to stay on their feet and dodge attacks effectively. If the fight goes to the ground, the person will be fast enough to remain in a dominant position.

Gymnastics

Most gymnasts need a running start in order to do certain handsprings and somersaults. correctly. They also need to develop strength to perform on pommel horses, parallel bars, and trampolines. Speed training methods can help gymnasts improve their performances so they can be much more entertaining. This is particularly good for rhythmic gymnasts who need to be entertaining and accurate as well.

Hitters

Any player involved in a hitting sport can benefit from becoming faster. These sports include baseball, golf, tennis, racquetball, and even ping pong. Players who have fast swings will usually be very tough to defeat. In baseball and golf, a fast swing will allow the ball to travel far distances. In tennis and similar games, fast swings and movements allow players to dominate their opponents.

Speed is a great strength for a player to have, no matter what type of sport they play. Learning the techniques for getting faster is not just for runners, soccer players, and football players. If the sport involves moving in any way, the athlete can benefit from becoming faster. It is an asset that can turn any player into a consistent winner.

GCU Baseball vs Pepperdine Presented on US Sports Net By: Ultimate Forearm Training For Baseball

Do you want to hit more line drive shots?

Do you want to drive more balls out of the park?

Do you want to throw the ball with more power?

Do you want tougher hands, wrists and forearms so you can play harder than ever before? (Continued below.....)

Hitting

The hands hold and control the bat. While the legs generate power and the core initiates movement, the hands are what actually takes the bat to where it is supposed to go and what transfer all the leg and core power through the bat and into the ball.

Pitching

Pitching involves transferring the power generated by the legs and core throughout the wind-up into the ball by snapping the wrist like the end of a bull whip. Pitching also involves the ability to angle the wrist through varying degrees of rotation and deviation for pitches such as curveballs, sliders, sinkers, and screwballs. Learn more.......

Catching

Catchers themselves have to play about 1/2 of the game with their mitt held wide open for the pitcher to use as a target. How worn out is your forearm at the end of a game? Preparing the forearms for catching requires a completely different approach, shown in this manual.

Tagging

How many times have we experienced or seen on TV a player applying a tag only to see the ball pop out at the last second and no out is recorded? What if you don't have time to cover up the glove with your off hand? This movement pattern is called pinching and requires specific strategies to train, and the equipment you need is already in your weight room or garage. Get started today!

Diving

How many times have we seen outfielders dive for a ball only to roll their wrist underneath them and miss half the season or more? With correct lower arm strengthening protocols, we can strengthen everything from the elbow down in order to make it more resilient against injury and allow us to bounce back quicker if we do experience an injury of this kind.

Sliding

When you slide there is always a chance for us to bend a wrist too far back, jam a finger on a bag or shoe, or get stepped on by a cleat. We have to do everything we can to make our hands bullet proof, and this can be done with the short and concise workouts I have already planned for you. Don't have much equipment? No problem. I have given you hundreds of movements to choose from with many alternatives for the equipment you use.

Unilateral Imbalance

Baseball is loaded with unilateral movement and imbalance. Throwing, Pitching, Non-Switch Hitting, and Catching are all examples of things we do with one side of the body but not the other. This leads to cumulative trauma throughout various parts of our bodies and eventually injury and downtime. This problem is compounded by improper grip training practices. I will show you how to maintain balance in your training with proper exercise selection. Book this course.......

Your hands are involved in almost every facet of the game.

Finally, thanks to the Ultimate Forearm Training for Baseball Manual, you will be able to MAXIMIZE all of the benefits of a strong grip!

US High School Sports Featuring: Matthew Wright SS OF RHP ~ Baseball Recruiting Video ~ Class of 2022 and Baseball Safety Guidelines That Need To Often Be Followed

Baseball Safety Guidelines That Need To Often Be Followed

  • Author Alexandr Grigorev

If all players stay conscious of what’s going on close to them, baseball safety could be drastically increased. Safe practices on the field should be stressed during each practices and games.

The coach and manager shouldn’t only encourage players to play their greatest, but also to perform anything they are able to to make sure safety. The baseball safety guidelines that adhere to are some easy approaches to decrease the probabilities of mishaps. (Continued below....)

12 Hitting Disciplines

(...Continued......)One aspect of safety in baseball involves players communicating with each other at all times. A fly ball, for example, can present a danger when outfielders aren’t clear about who’s going to get it. It’s standard practice for fielder to call out, "I’ve got it!" or something similar, and this is essential to avoid collisions. Of course, confusion can still occur if two players both call for it at the same time, but at least then they’ll be aware of each other’s presence and can hopefully sort it out.

There should be a preset plan where players know exactly which areas are covered by which fielders to avoid problems. While everyone wants to catch the ball, they also have to be taught to always be aware of the location of their teammates. Regardless of your age or league type you are a helmet is the best way to avoid the danger of being hit by a fast moving ball and being injured. no matter who is stepping up to the plate the risk of being hit is the same which makes wearing a helmet for protection essential in both practices as well as games. A faceguard on your helmet offers the most protection and is good for especially kids to wear. The most important part of the body to protect, however, is the head, as injuries to this area can cause severe injuries and even be fatal.

The sun can be a dangerous component when it comes to baseball. This is because it can produce blistering heat, create sunburns and blind players when they are running to catch the ball. Players should always wear sunscreen to get away from sunburn. Caps and visors are of the utmost importance. These can help players cope with the sun in their eyes. The sun is something that all ball players should be familiar with. It will not be in the same position during the whole game. When the sun is in their eyes, all players should be very careful when running for the ball or running bases. This is one of those unpredictable things about baseball that players must learn how to deal with. Baseball will always have a lasting appeal. By following the type of safety guidelines we’ve covered in this article, players can enjoy the game with less chance of accidents or injuries. You cannot always predict when things will go off track. If players are properly attired and following sensible precautions, the game can be made much safer.

5 Tips For Crushing A Curveball

How To Hit A Curveball

There goes the old saying that when life throws you a curveball, hit it out of the park. However, as easy as that sounds, hitting a curveball is one of the toughest tasks that every batter will face over the course of the game. The movement on a curveball differs from pitcher to pitcher.  The way the pitcher grips the ball, and their delivery of the pitch has an effect on the trajectory, and the aerodynamics on the way to the plate. The 12-to-6 curve is one of the most common curveballs fans are familiar with, which references the vertical movement from starting high and ending low. Another breaking pitch is the 11-to-5 curve, which entails more horizontal movement but not as much as vertical. There are also curveballs called “slurvy” curves, or sliders, that do not have much vertical movement, but have a strong amount of horizontal movement. One of the hottest pitchers right now who throws a nasty 12-to-6 curve is Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Zach Greinke, who has completely left batters stone cold and motionless at the plate. One memorable at bat came against White Sox second-baseman Yomer Sanchez, where he threw his 65mph eephus curveball, which is defined as a very low-speed junk ball. The end result was Sanchez completing his swing before the pitch even got there. Click here to watch to admire this devastating and demoralizing pitch.

Do you want to become the next person who looks as lost as Yomer Sanchez at the plate against someone who has an outstanding curveball? I doubt anyone wants to look like a fool at the plate and this is why I have produced my top 5 steps of hitting a curveball.

1. Study the pitcher: While he is throwing in-game, or in the bullpen, analyze the pitcher’s movements in his windup. See if the pitcher changes up his release points depending on the pitch he is throwing. It is essential to find out if there are any potential tells in his windup of when he will throw a curveball. For example, a twitch in the glove or an adjustment in the windup. Every advantage will count because batters have under a second to determine the pitch, whether the pitch is a ball or strike, and the speed of the pitch. Watch the pitchers arm and observe whether or not it snaps downward, this is an indication a curveball.

null

2. Recognize the pitch early: As mentioned before there are various trajectories with a  curveball that have the ability to throw off batters and lead to an off balanced swing. Curveballs with a lot of topspin will create high pressure on the top of the ball, which leads to a downward and sinking trajectory for the ball. Knowing how strong the topspin is will help you identify if the pitch is a 12-6 curveball versus a slider. Read the ball out of the pitcher’s hand, and never anticipate a curveball will be thrown. It is much harder to think curveball, and react to a fastball. There simply isn’t enough time to change your approach mid-pitch when the pitcher is throwing heat. When a curveball is thrown, the spin creates a small red dot from the laces, which indicates a breaking pitch. Pick up on this early, and react to the movement.

3. Analyze previous at-bats: Were you out in front and completely whiffed in your first at bat against a curveball. Think about the type of stance and approach you came up to the plate. The best stance that I recommend is having your feet shoulder apart and keeping your hands and body back. Make sure your weight stays at least 70% back. The most common mistake batter make when hitting a curveball is having your weight out front, anticipating an off-speed pitch. Keep your weight back, and react to the ball as it leaves the pitcher’s hand.

4. Practice and Utilize Multiple Curveball Drills: One of the best drills for a batter is the underhand recognition drills, which requires having a partner 15 feet behind a screen tossing you pitches underhand. This partner will constantly mix up the speeds and locations of these pitches in order to help the batter get used to the hesitation that is typical of batters when they face breaking pitches. You can also find baseball coaching drills focused on hitting by great coaches such as hall of famer Tony Gywnn.

5. Enhance patience at the plate with lobs: Similar to the underhand recognition drill, have someone behind a screen, but instead have them throw just lobs over the screen. This will allow you to build the mental strength to understand where the ball enters the hitting zone so that you can rocket the ball straight up the middle. It also allows you to stay inside the ball, meaning waiting longer on the pitch to get deeper in the zone for the batter to turn on it and go opposite field. You do not want to be out in front of the plate, because there will be minimal power behind the swing since the hips have already opened up and the bat is already in mid-swing when the pitch isn’t fully at the plate yet.

Baseball Fundamentals with Tony Gwynn

Description

During his 20-year career in major league baseball, hall-of-famer Tony Gwynn won eight batting titles, seven Silver Slugger awards and was a fifteen time All-Star. His lifetime batting average of .338 ranks him as one of the greatest hitters in history, and his five Gold Gloves prove that he was as productive on the field as he was at the plate. As head coach at San Diego State, Gwynn led the Aztecs to a regular season title and was named 2004 Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year.

Now, Sportskool offers all of Tony Gwynn's collected wisdom in this Baseball course. Join Tony and his award-winning coaching staff as they break the game down to its fundamentals, so you can build your game from the ground up.

Whether you're just getting started or ready to take your game to the next level, look no further than Baseball Fundamentals with Tony Gwynn. Book this course..........

The Coach

Look at Tony Gwynn's 1997 season, his 17th in the majors, for proof of the legend's longevity and dominance. Then 37 years old, Gwynn put together career highs in hits, doubles, home runs, and RBI for the arguably best season of his career. Arguably. He only hit .372 that season. And Gwynn did bat .394 in a strike-shortened 1994 season, flirting with the first .400 season since Ted Williams hit .406 in 1941. So analyzing one season of the San Diego Padre is foolish. Gwynn's one of the few athletes to never have an off year. Never. Nothing even close. His string of dominance is almost unparalleled in baseball or any sport. That's why Gwynn's largely considered one of the greatest hitters of all-time, perhaps even the greatest living one. Analyzing Gwynn's batting exploits groups him with names like Cobb, Williams, Rogers Hornsby, Tris Speaker and other icons from more than a century ago. Born May 9, 1960 in Los Angeles, California Retired following 2001 season with a total of 3,141 hits and a career batting average of .338 (both 17th all-time) Batting titles in 1984, 1987-89 and 1994-97 No. 19 jersey retired by the Padres After batting .289 in limited action in 1982, Gwynn hit .300 for 19 consecutive seasons, surpassing Wagner's National League record set from 1897-1913 Hit .350 or better from 1993-1997, becoming only the fourth player in history to top the .350 mark in five consecutive seasons (Cobb, Hornsby and Al Simmons) .394 average in 1994 was the highest average in the National League since 1930 Struck out only 434 times in 10,232 plate appearances over 20 seasons Five Gold Glove Awards.
