From our humble beginnings in the 1970’s follow along on our timeline to witness all the ways that JDM has been used by God to bring the Gospel to the lost and hurting world.  You can see all of God’s blessings through the years from tapes and print, to digital media, from radio and television to satellite networks, and now the internet takes our broadcast worldwide. And He hasn’t stopped yet! We continue to reach people and change lives, one soul at a time.

Jesse Duplantis is a dynamic evangelist who has traveled throughout the world since 1978 preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesse founded Jesse Duplantis Ministries (JDM) with a desire to use every available voice to cover the earth with God’s love. JDM has its International Headquarters in Destrehan, Louisiana as well as additional offices in the United Kingdom and Australia.

Known throughout the world as the “Apostle of Joy,” Jesse Duplantis has been sharing his memorable mix of strong, biblical preaching and hilarious life lessons every week on television for years. His unique way of ministering the Gospel and making Jesus “real” to all generations has made him one of the most loved ministers today.  For years Jesse has been told his “uncommon straightforwardness and humor cuts through regular religion!”

In 1997, Jesse and his wife, Reverend Cathy Duplantis, founded Covenant Church, a local outreach of Jesse Duplantis Ministries located at the International Headquarters of JDM in Destrehan, Louisiana, a suburb of the New Orleans area. Jesse is a true evangelist and revivalist who reaches the “unreachable” and rekindles the fire in believers.

Reverend Cathy Duplantis is an anointed teacher of the Gospel who is dedicated to living by faith and inspiring others to do the same. Cathy is the wife of Evangelist, Jesse Duplantis, and has worked continually with her husband in ministry since it began in 1978 serving as Administrator, Editor-in-Chief of Voice of the Covenantmagazine and television co-host.

Cathy uses her life experiences and divinely given revelations to encourage and inspire her audience and is a favorite guest speaker for women’s conferences and church meetings. She also is continuing to preach the Gospel with Jesse in meetings throughout the USA.

Along with her husband, Cathy is the co-founder of Covenant Church, a local outreach of JDM in the greater New Orleans area. It was her vision to build a church where people would be encouraged to realize their potential in Christ Jesus, to be able to overcome life’s circumstances, and to experience success spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Cathy Duplantis continues to spread the Gospel around the world and show believers everywhere how they can be transformed into powerful and joyful people of faith by applying the teachings found in God’s Word.
