Police officers demand certain standards and qualities which are required for this profession. The police selection process will include interviews, fitness test and other tests which will check the eligibility of the candidate for the post. The police selection process can be divided into the following stages:
Application form
The selection process begins with the application form which gives the details of the candidate. The candidates should complete the application form as per the instructions.
CVs are generally not accepted and completing all the information in the form is very important as failing to do it may result in rejection of the form. Candidates should disclose about all the material information along with personal data. If you have queries about the application form, then you should contact the person in charge.
Additional information about physical characteristics like wearing spectacles or contact lens should be mentioned in the form. The application form can be downloaded from the official website and you can send it back either through mailing it in the post or completing an online application form and submitting it electronically.
Entrance examination
The entrance exam comprises of three papers. There will be 3 different versions of the examination and if you fail in the examination, then you can resit for the exam after 3 months. If you fail again then you can apply only after six months has passed.
The tests will mainly cover language skills, information handling and your ability to deal with numbers. Sometimes sample test papers are available on the police website and so by downloading these you will be able to prepare more effectively.
Candidates can get a better idea of the examination through access courses and additional help. An access course will help the candidates to learn about the career in police, developing core skills, and developing skills in research, writing, numeracy and analytical judgments.
Fitness assessment
Once you pass the entrance examination you should attend 'Police Force Training and Recruitment Centre' where your initial fitness exams will be carried out. The assessment will be strictly based on the national standard of the police services and prior to the fitness assessment; the body mass index of the candidates is also recorded. This is followed by a series of fitness examinations which will check the fitness of a candidate.
Interview
The fitness test is followed up by an final one on one interview and is typically divided into two parts. If you pass the preliminary interview then you can proceed to the next phase of the interview. Preparation is very important to pass the interview as the interview itself will cover a wide range of subjects. The attitude, commitment, and other skills of the candidate are also tested by the judging panel.
The first phase of the interview is called the initial interview which is followed up vetting. This interview is performed by a special panel who recruit the candidates for the police force. During the interview you will be questioned about your views on various issues which will test your abilities to remain impartial as an officer.

The Word of God is as important to us as seed is to a farmer. Planting physical seeds in good soil eventually produces a harvest, and the same can be said for planting the seed of the Word in our hearts. Everything we need in life has been made available to us in that seed, but it is up to us to plant it and allow it to grow. When the Word is presented to us, there will inevitably be opposition to it; this comes from the enemy, who will do everything in his power to keep it away from us and prevent us from seeing manifestations in our lives. When we operate in the natural realm and do not see results, we can switch to the supernatural realm through the Word of God. In this realm, there are no limits, and we are the only ones able to stop God’s promises from coming to fruition. We are farmers in this realm, and the Word is guaranteed to produce harvest if we let it.
To benefit from the Word of God, our hearts must be ready to receive.
The sower soweth the word. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts (Mark 4:14, 15).
The Word of God can be compared to seed that a farmer plants. If the seed stays in the bag and is not sown, no harvest can be expected.
It is important to sow the seed in good soil. The soil can be compared to our hearts, which must be receptive to the Word.
The farmer can sow seed into shallow ground, but the birds can eat it before it takes root. This refers to those who hear the Word but do not understand it (Matthew 13:19).
And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended (Mark 4:16, 17).We must spend enough time with the Word for it to develop a good root system in us. Otherwise, persecution and affliction will move us away from it.
And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful (Mark 4:18, 19).
When we hear the Word, we must stay focused on it without getting distracted. We must not allow other people’s drama to become our emergency.
Everything we need for a godly life is contained in the sixty-six bags of seed found in the Word.
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred (Mark 4:20).
“Good ground” is when we not only hear the Word, but accept and receive it as truth without negotiating or debating it. This is what brings forth fruit.
To see results, we can operate in the supernatural as children of God.
But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all (Galatians 4:23-26).
If we do not get results in the natural, we can switch to the supernatural. In the supernatural realm, we are the only ones who can stop the results from manifesting.
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free (Galatians 4:27-31).
Ishmael came by the natural, but Isaac came by the supernatural. Likewise, we do not have to be slaves of the natural; we can choose to be children of the supernatural.
And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath (Mark 4:21-25).
Choosing the Word is choosing the supernatural route. When we encounter darkness in our lives, the Word brings light and results in supernatural manifestations.
The Word always works if our hearts are receptive, like fertile soil. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap (Galatians 6:7).
The seed is hidden in the Word, but it will be manifested. There are no secrets with God.
How we respond to the way God speaks to us determines how much more we will receive.
And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it (Mark 4:26-32).
God did not give us the Word to be fruitless. Just as a farmer will not get a harvest in the natural if he leaves the seed in the bag, we will not see a harvest if we do not study and meditate on the supernatural seed of the Word.
We must let the seed stay in the ground for it to work. We cannot get a harvest with a part-time seed.
Jesus is the living Word. He is all we need to live a supernatural life.
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever (1 Peter 1:23).
Incorruptible seed is seed that never fails. It will always produce, and it can never be destroyed.
The Word gave birth to the supernatural life which we now live.
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).
Grace has made available not just a few things, but all things. We only get what we need through the knowledge of Christ, who is the Word.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:1, 14).
The Word was transformed into a physical human being. This process began with Isaiah, who planted a seed when he prophesied of Jesus, “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows…” (Isaiah 53:4).
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32).
This inheritance is specifically for the sanctified believers who have been set aside. These are the ones who have received incorruptible seed by grace.
A Christian facing a problem will not succeed in overcoming it without the specific Word pertaining to that circumstance. Whether it is sickness, lack, deliverance, or any other issue, we must fill our hearts with the seed pertaining to it. When we meditate on those Scriptures, we will prosper and have good success (Joshua 1:8).
5. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord (Colossians 3:16).
We must let the seed of the Word dwell in us, not the worldly negativity on which we can focus. A bad attitude is like weeds trying to grow in our soil.

Darts is a fun social sport, the history of which can be traced back to the days of the longbow in medieval England. The enduring popularity of the sport can be attributed to its being a game that combines skill, talent, and a bit of luck. The upper classes of the times soon put their own stamp on the game. Henry VIII was well known for his immense love of the game, and was presented with a beautifully ornate set by Anne Boleyn.
The sport began as part of training in the martial art of archery. Historians infer, because it is not known for certain, that teachers of archery shortened some arrows and asked their students to throw them at the bottom of an empty wine barrel. The fact that the bottom of an empty wine barrel was used is a clue to how the game evolved into a pastime. It is believed that the soldiers took their shortened arrows on their visit to the local drinking establishment to exhibit their skill, while having fun there. Gradually, some inventive dart thrower introduced a cross section of a moderate-sized tree. The “board” had rings, and upon drying, further segmentation was provided by the cracks. Thus, from the cracked and dried cross section of a tree evolved the modern-day dart board.
The history of darts in the United States can be traced to the Pilgrims. These tough colonizers are believed to have played the game on board the Mayflower as it made its ocean crossing. Later, the game was played fervently in the United States as a favorite pastime.
It was around 1900 that the rules for darts became what they are today. The size of the board, distance for throwing, and even the size of the darts were standardized. Today, around the world, organized teams play for trophies and professional leagues. The prominent associations worldwide for dart games are World Darts Federation (WDF), British Darts Organization and Darts Federation of Australia.
A set of 18-gram brass darts costs around $10, whereas a set of tungsten darts is $140. Prices vary depending on the material the dart is made of, as well as any extras like moveable points or special paint jobs. Prices differ from catalog to catalog as well.
Lori and Dave’s cancer survivor story began in December of 2015 when Lori was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Lori was a health nut just as her father was, so when she got this news, it rocked their world because they felt they had always eaten right and exercised regularly.
After they received the news, and still being in shock, the doctor suggested that she have surgery. They decided to hold off so they could do more research and try to find a natural cure for ovarian cancer.
During this time, the doctor scheduled ovarian cancer treatment of 6 cycles of chemotherapy for 18 weeks with an IV and IP drip.
Lori and Dave had also been following Ty Bollinger’s and the information from A Global Quest advise and realized that their diet contained too much sugar which could be one of the causes of ovarian cancer.
After the surgery, they switched to an anti-cancer diet where they cut out all carbohydrates among other things.
They also did the PEMF therapy which is pulsed electromagnetic therapy and is popular in East and Western Europe.
Lori is now cancer free and continues her ovarian cancer prevention and healthy living.

A police officer is a warranted employee of a police force. The basic responsibility of a police officer is prevention and detection of crime, maintenance of order in the public, apprehension of criminals and the like. However, some police officers are specifically trained in various areas such as surveillance, child protection, counter-terrorism and specific investigation techniques such as murder, drug trafficking, fraud, rape etc.
Being in the police force is a highly rewarding profession. Firstly, because police officers have a very high respect in the society and secondly, the career itself has many professional and financial benefits associated with it. The primary benefit of becoming a police officer is the financial aspect of this job. A typical police officer in the United States earns over $50,000 per annum or more depending on the state and location of employment. Even during the course of training in the police academy, a decent salary is paid to the trainees. This allowance is quiet substantial if compared to the market. Apart from the salary, every police officer is provided extensive medical and dental coverage which is extremely essential in the times of inflation. This is combined with around 96 hours of sick leave on annual basis which is paid in nature. Usually a police officer has to work on the basis of a 4 day work every week. He also gets around up to 180 hours of annual paid vacation. Every police officer also gets a pension after completion of 30 years of service. The pay and pension is usually revised on annual basis depending on the rate of inflation and increase in cost of living. There are also various bonuses involved during the course of a police officer’s tenure that includes bonus for being bilingual, holiday bonus pay, performance bonus etc. Another key benefit of working as a police officer comes later where experienced police officers are hired by FBI or other private security agencies for lucrative pays and perks. During the course of your employment with the police force, you will get numerous opportunities for promotion and development. Some police departments also encourage police officers to complete their education or do further specialized training with the police force. Job satisfaction is another key benefit of becoming a police officer. A police officer is always content because he is helping people around him to live in a safe and secure department. He is always on his toes to eradicate crime and criminals from the society. This satisfaction along with financial rewards is no less than a blessing particularly in these hard times.
As one who had richly experienced the love of Jesus, the apostle John says, “Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another” (1 John 4:11). The same unfailing love that He has given us is for everyone who is around us. It’s for our spouse and children, our relatives and friends, our neighbors and coworkers. He blesses us so that we can spread the blessing! It’s called being “the hands and feet of Jesus.”

Is Jesus really the Son of God? All Christian belief is based on the fact that He is. But, if a non-believer were to question you on this fact, indeed to challenge you on it, could you respond in an intelligent manner? How do you know that Jesus is the Son of God? It is true that we must have faith that Jesus is God's Son. However, in Acts 1:3 we see that Jesus presented Himself to His apostles after He was resurrected and demonstrated that He was alive "by many infallible proofs." The New Testament is full of examples of these proofs. Let's take a look a what the Bible has to say in regards to the deity of Jesus. As we look closely at the life and ministry of Jesus we can learn much about what attributes He had that demonstrate that He is God's Son. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God." (John 1:1,2) John clearly states at the start of his gospel that Jesus was with God the Father in the beginning. When God was in the process of creating the heavens and earth, all the plants and animals, and man, Jesus was with Him. One of the attributes of God is that He is eternally existent. In other words, having no beginning and no ending. In this passage we see that Jesus also has this attribute of being eternally existent. It is further demonstrated in this passage: "And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was." (John 17:5) Jesus said of Himself that He was with the Father before the creation.
We also know that God the Father is without sin. So in order for Jesus to be truly God's Son, He too must be without sin. "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin." (Hebrews 5:14) Jesus, during His earthly life and ministry, was tempted with the same temptations which we are. Yet He did not give in to the temptations. He did not allow Himself to sin. I have heard people speak on this subject and marvel that He was able to do this. I personally don't feel that the fact that Jesus was able to resist the temptations is something to marvel about. After all, He is God. To Him, the option to sin was simply not an option at all. There are many things about Jesus in which we should stand in awe. But if we believe that He is the Son of God, then we should not be surprised when He acts like the Son of God!
For Jesus to be the Son of God, we would indeed expect Him to be without sin. We would also expect Him to have authority. Jesus tells us of His authority: "Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.'" (Matthew 28:18) God has given His Son the authority to redeem the world for the sin which is so prevalent. By His freely giving Himself to die on the cross, He exercised that authority. By His resurrection we know that He also has the power to enforce that authority over the devil.
We see examples of His authority in other ways also. "'But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins' - He said to the paralytic, 'I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go your way to your house.'" (Mark 2:10,11) The NIV renders the word "power" as authority. So we see that Jesus demonstrated His authority by forgiving the paralytic of his sins. The authority to forgive sin is reserved for God, and He gave His Son this authority as well.
Jesus demonstrated His authority by calming the seas, casting out demons, turning water into wine, and raising the dead. He is still demonstrating His authority even today. Have you ever seen a person give himself or herself to Christ and truly marvel at the change that happened to them? I have. I have seen men, who could not complete a sentence without using the Lord's name as a curse or interject other profane words, become a Christian and completely change their vocabulary. I have seen others, who were just right down mean, accept Christ and become a kind and gentle person. And I have seen still others, who appeared as though they thought the whole world was against them, become a Christian and turn into a happy vibrant individual. This is just another way that we can know that Jesus is the Son of God.
The Bible tells us of some of the work that Jesus does, and we see that He is the Son of God through this work. "God, who at various times and in different ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;" (Hebrews 1:1,2) This passage tells us that it was through Jesus that God "made the worlds." Jesus was there when creation was going on and He had an active part in it. He is the "heir of all things," or that all things have been given to Him. This is further emphasized in Colossians, "For by Him all things were created that are in Heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist." (Colossians 1:16,17)
Another aspect which we shall consider is the fact that Jesus will participate in the punishing of those who do not follow His teachings. "...and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from Heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." (II Thessalonians 1:7,8) We mentioned earlier that Jesus has the authority of all things on earth and in Heaven. Jesus will truly be exercising that authority on the day of judgement. See also: (Revelation 3:16, 19:11-21).
In the above passages we see that Jesus has been given authority and power by our Heavenly Father, and that He has and will exercise that authority. The Bible also tells us that Jesus has a "position" of authority. In our society, when someone has authority, we expect them to occupy a certain position. For example, a judge sets on the judge's bench, a CEO of a corporation has a big elaborate office, the President lives in the White House, and so forth. So, does Jesus also occupy a place or position of authority? "And Jesus said, 'I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.'" (Mark 14:62) "But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God." (Acts 7:55) Jesus is at the right hand of the Father today, a position of authority from which He makes intercession for you and I. Isn't it great to know that our Savior is there and ready to make intercession for us when we stumble in our daily Christian walk.
Jesus did not beat around the bush when talking about who He was. He made it very clear that He was the Son of God. Time after time He refers to the fact that He is God's Son or that He should be treated as such.
When Jesus performed His miracles in the cities of Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum the people rejected Him. They did not recognize Him as the Son of God. Jesus therefore reproached or condemned them for their disbelief. In the account of this in Matthew Jesus tells us specifically that all authority has been given to Him: "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father..." (Matthew 11:27a)
If indeed Jesus is the Son of God, and has the authority and power over all things, then we - the creation of God - should give honor and praise to Jesus. Jesus taught this to His disciples: "that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him." (John 5:23) John 3:16 tells us that God loved us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to this earth so that those who believed in Him could have eternal life. For God to do this for us, and for us to not give Jesus the honor due Him would be a terrible thing. Jesus also told us many things about Himself that shows that He is the Son of God. He said that He was sent by His Father into the world (John 8:42). He said that He had been appointed judge over all mankind (Matthew 25:31-41). He said that the only way man can receive salvation, the only way to the Father was through Him (John 14:6). Jesus told us that His blood was shed for the remission of sins for many, or for all that accept Him as Lord and Savior (Matthew 26:28). And finally, Jesus said that He could submit Himself to die and raise from the dead under His own power (John 10:18).
In a court of law, if there are two witness who will confirm the same set of facts to be true, it is very difficult for the apposing attorneys to disprove their testimony. In the fifth chapter of John we have recorded for us not two, but four forms of witness concerning the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. In verses 31-35 we have the witness of John the Baptist, in verse 36 there is the witness of the works of Christ, in verses 37 and 38 we have the witness of the Father, and in verses 39 through 47 we have the witness of the Scriptures.
In like manner, the four gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John - also bear witness to the life, ministry, death, burial, resurrection, and deity of Jesus Christ.
"When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, 'Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?' So they said, 'Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.' He said to them, 'But who do you say that I am?' And Simon Peter answered and said, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.'" (Matthew 16:13-16) Even today people will say that Jesus was someone other than the Son of God. Some say He was a good man, but not the Son of God. Others will say He was a prophet, a great teacher, or a great religious leader but reject Him as the Son of God. Still others say that He was an impostor, or even from Satan. If Jesus is really the Son of God (and He is), then we should follow His teachings and obey His gospel. So the important question for you is not who do others say that He is, but who do you say that Jesus is? I say that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.
One of the most beautiful parts of the Bible, in my opinion, are the places where Jesus is called by various names. All these names point to or show that He is God's Son. Let me give you some examples of these beautiful names.
"And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS." (Revelation 19:16)
"I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star." (Revelation 22:16)
"The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, 'Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!'" (John 2:29)
"This is the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone." (Acts 4:11)
"But one of the elders said to me, 'Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.'" (Revelation 5:5)
I am closing this article with a passage from the Old Testament. It does not speak about Jesus specifically, but I feel that the message is still applicable. "...choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15)
