The Blizzard would begin the game with a 26-yard field goal by Edward Ruhnke to take a 0-3 lead. The Storm would end the first quarter with a block by Malcolm Goines who would recover it in the end zone to take a 7-3 lead.   
Green Bay would be the first to score in the second quarter after a one-yard touchdown pass by Lenorris Footman to Levi Copelin to take a 7-10 lead. Sioux Falls would tie up the game at 10 after a 21-yard field goal by Parker Douglass. Green Bay answered with a 44-yard touchdown pass by Lenorris Footman to Kezlow Smith to take a 10-17 lead. Sioux Falls would tie it at 17 after a 23-yard touchdown pass by Lorenzo Brown to Brandon Sheperd. Green Bay answered with a two-yard rushing touchdown by Rameses Owens to go up 17-24. The Storm would cut the lead to 20-24 after a 20-yard field goal by Parker Douglass to end the half. 

The Storm would score first at the beginning of the third quarter after a 17-yard rushing touchdown by Lorenzo Brown to retake a 27-24 lead. The Blizzard would tie the game after a 27 field goal by Edward Ruhnke. The Storm would extend their lead to 34-27 after a three-yard touchdown pass by Lorenzo Brown to Tra’Von Chapman to end the quarter.  

The Storm began the fourth quarter with a 35-yard field goal by Parker Douglass to go up 37-27. The Blizzard answered with a 37-yard field goal by Edward Ruhnke to cut the lead to 37-30. The Storm responded back with a five-yard rushing touchdown by Calen Campbell to extend their lead to 44-30. The Blizzard would end the game with a five-yard touchdown pass by Lenorris Footman to Keshaun Taylor, bringing the score to 44-37. 

Quarterback Lorenzo Brown completed 12 passes for 99 yards and two touchdowns, he also had 57 rushing yards and one touchdown. Running back Calen Campbell had nine rushing yards and one touchdown along with 25 receiving yards. Wide receivers Brandon Sheperd had 23 receiving yards for one touchdown along with 26 rushing yards while Kent Shelby had 35 receiving yards and one touchdown and Tra’Von Chapman had 16 receiving yards and one touchdown. Kicker Parker Douglass made three field goals and five extra points. Defensive back Rick Rumph lead the Thunder Defense with nine tackles. Defensive linemen Charles Williams had one sack and Malcolm Goines had one block for a touchdown. Defensive backs Tre Dickerson had two pass break-ups and Lorenzo White had one interception.  

The Sioux Falls Storm are back at home on Saturday, May 18 where they will host a Salute to Military night. Kickoff is set for 7:05 PM at the Denny Sanford Premier Center against the Nebraska Danger.  Get Tickets.....
