Joel Osteen Recent Messages Featuring: Victoria Osteen - Be Good to People and The End of the Rope is Not the End

In this message (below), Victoria will explain that the God has has called us to always show respect to others. The Scripture says that “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and…he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him” (Acts 10:38 NIV). He was empowered to do good. And in doing good, He brought healing everywhere He went.   The good news is that you and I have been anointed to do good as well, whether we feel loving or not! We’ve been empowered by the Holy Spirit to bring healing to people and to promote the good news of Jesus Christ! This is message #731, "Be Good To People", by Victoria Osteen. The End of the Rope is Not the End

Post by Joel Osteen

I talked to an older gentleman who had struggled with drugs and alcohol for most of his life. He had gone to rehab again and again, but he would always fall back. Over the years he felt like such a failure that he came to the point when he didn't want to live. But he turned on the television and started listening to our program. He said, "Joel, everybody told me how bad I was, how I was a failure. You were the first one to tell me that I was made in the image of God." He'd never had anyone speak life into him and tell him what he could become. When he heard me say, "You are a child of the Most High God," he got down on his knees and said, "God, I've tried to clean up the mess I've made of my life, but I can't do this by myself. Please help me to change." From that moment on, he never had the desire for the drugs or alcohol again. Today he works in prisons, letting the inmates know how they too can become children of the Most High God.
You may have failed, but you are not a failure. Failure is an event, it's not who you are. You may have an addiction, but you're not an addict. What you struggle with is not who you are. What you do may not be good, but that's not who you are. The Creator of the universe breathed life into you. Like this man, you may have gotten off course, but God is saying, "I'm still going to bless you and show you My favor. I'm still going to free you and use you to help others."
Jesus says, "You are blessed when you're at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and His rule" (Matthew 5:3). That means His favor, His healing, His freedom. This man was at the end of his rope, but God showed up and brought freedom. You may be facing a medical situation that doesn't look good. Something in a relationship, in your finances or business is at the end of the rope. Have a new perspective. When you're at the end, it's a blessing in disguise. You're in prime position for God to show out in your life. He's saying to you, "I am the Almighty God. What I promised you is still on the way." Those dreams you've given up on, they're on the way. That healing you're praying about, it's on the way. The freedom, the right person, the baby you've been believing for, it's on the way.

Michael Boyle - December 13, 2018
Maybe the most frequent question we get is about training young athletes. That prompted me to go back through the archives and pull up all the best articles on training kids. Here are 10 of my favorites.

A few weeks ago we had a great thread on the forum entitled Athlete Engagement and Behavior. Anthony had suggested that I expand my thoughts from the thread into an article.
The thread began with this question:
“Would really appreciate if anyone could share their experiences or direct me to some good resources regarding engaging young athletes (13-15 year old female athletes) in structured strength and conditioning sessions.”
My response ( expanded on here) began with this:
Training kids is a balancing act. Kids are kids. They should be having some fun training. However, at 13 -15 they should also be learning that there is a serious aspect to training. If you are having trouble controlling a group I strongly advocate removing those who are most disruptive or, at least threatening to do so. The threat of getting kicked out adds a bit of “what if” to the equation. What if I have to go home and explain that I got kicked out of a training session?
This “threat” gets the message across. You are the boss and this is a practice. What you really have to learn is to be "tight but loose". You have to establish the boundaries. With kids it's a constant push- pull. Sometimes you are pushing them forward from an effort standpoint and other times you pull them back from silliness. With females you can be pushing them to try a heavier load, with males you might be pulling them back from trying to impress the other boys.
Start with simple organizational stuff. Put them in lines, keep them in lines. Call out those who distract the others. Always lines, no circles. Keep everyone where you can see them. Kids behind you is like an invitation to screw around
With kids we want to be light on science and heavy on structure. You can keep them busy as the loads are light and the work is primary technical. Rest between sets is not nearly as critical as it is with older, stronger, more experienced athletes. I use their energy as a guideline. If they have time to screw around, we are probably going too slowly. Join StrengthCoach.com today at access this and all articles with video......

iHealthTube Featuring: Cancer and Your Immune System–What You Should Know!

Dr. Jose Henriquez discusses the relationship between cancer and the immune system when it comes to treatment and prevention. Find out the challenges of conventional treatments and what their use can do to cancer in the short and long term. [Video Below]

“Life is such a precious gift and having optimal health is truly a wonderful thing! As a health professional and a Doctor of Nutrition, I highly recommend the services of Dr. Jose Henriquez and his Integrative Whole Health Clinic as his treatments are truly the state of the art. He is my personal doctor for one reason, ‘He is the Best!’

Even though I am a Doctor, until I met Dr. Henriquez, the quality of my health and life were extremely lacking as I was born with a genetic liver disease. Living with this disease can be very degrading as well as having no quality of life. Many people do not live to see 35. I chose to receive all the education and knowledge I could to live as normal a life as possible. It was when I found Dr. Henriquez that life became normal and enjoyable. I have been under his care for many, many years and am able to enjoy life to the fullest. I am now 67 and take no medications.

Dr. Henriquez always listens to you and hears what you are saying so he can customize a program that specifically meets your needs. He is compassionate and understanding. His treatments are extremely effective and do not have the side effects that traditional treatments do. Plus, they make sense and are easy to follow.

I strongly recommend his services. It is also extremely important for all of us to continue with follow-up programs on time, so we can remain free of disease to enjoy the life we so justly deserve.”

Dear Dr. Henriquez,

I will go visit Integrative Whole Health Clinic for 2 weeks to receive, for the second time, your alternative treatment for my cancer. Six month ago, after I came back to Japan from the first time of your treatment around April ~ May, I was told by a famous doctor for cancer in Japan that if I had received a treatment in Japan, they could not have saved me.

February 2009

I was informed from a Japanese hospital that I was in stage 5 of an ovarian cancer.

April 2009 (Japan)

I went to Integrative Whole Health Clinic to receive an alternate treatment for my cancer I was very lucky that I knew about this treatment. I knew someone who received the same treatment from you and healed his cancer.

April 2009 (Mexico)

I got your diagnosis as a stage 4 of ovarian cancer and had a surgery proceeded by you and your team.

10 days after the operation, I had 2 weeks with hyperthermia and received the “order-made” vaccine made for me.

I never forget your strong eyes and words when you told me about the operation and that you said you could help me.

After I came back to Japan, and for the last 6 months I took the vaccine every week and also drank the supplements.

August 2009

4 months later, the cancer marker decreased from 700 to 200. Some cancer even started to disappear!

I expect that the treatment this time will be similar.

In Japan, it almost never happens that the surgical doctor and alternative treatment doctor are the same. Besides, you staying with me give me a real feeling of security.

You said that “Probably in the near future they will announce me a complete recovery”. How wonderful it would be!!

There are no words to tell you how much I appreciate you or to tell my gratitude. I am amazed everyday by my recovery, and I am thankful to your treatment as well.

“There is a way to believe in life even in having cancer” I wish more Japanese people knew that! I want then to know it before they get sick. Because. In Japanese hospital they don’t teach you such things.

I will do my best to heal, and of course I will let you know when I’ m healed. Doctor Henriquez. Thank you so much for taking care of me so well. And please be by my side until my total recovery.
Sincerely, Mari Fushimi
“I wanted to try a healthier approach for my stage 3B breast cancer. Especially since I was told that with the traditional aggressive chemotherapy & radiation treatments found here in the USA, I MIGHT be able to live 10 more years. For me, living the remaining years of my life sick and ill with the side effects of those therapies, was unacceptable. I had witnessed the results & aftermath of chemotherapy & radiation – how it had effected my family and friends over the years.

During my consultation with Dr. Jose A. Henriquez, it was apparent to me that he was very knowledgeable about treating cancer. His genuine caring, good nature, and attentiveness was wonderful as he took the time to educate me about his treatment protocol. While under Dr. Henriquez’s care, I had 2 Whole Body Hyperthermia procedures. After each procedure, my cancer markers dropped. The other treatments that I had was Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation, Dendritic Cell vaccines, and Live Cell Therapy.

Dr. Henriquez’s compassion, devotion, and care that he shows his patients is astounding. His accessibility, and bedside manner at once put me at ease and remains to this day personal and warm.

When I returned home after my 21 day treatment, my friends and family couldn’t believe how much healthier and younger I looked. I have never felt healthier in my life. I am forever grateful to Dr. Henriquez and his vast knowledge, that has kept me cancer free since February 2005.

I am in agreement with your other patients who sing your praises,
you are one of the best of the best.”

Beth Faas – Breast cancer survivor since Feb 2005 – Huntington Beach, CA – USA – bethfaas@mac.com
“I accompanied my husband to Tijuana in search of treatment for his kidney cancer. It was with great trepidation that we travelled so far for the integrated approach to treatment that we could not find at home. Dr Henriquez quickly dispelled all of our fears. His quiet, friendly professional manner gave us every confidence. He was never too busy to spend times discussing our worries and concerns, his door was always open to us. Nothing was too much trouble and he gave us hope. He is without doubt an outstanding doctor, his knowledge and expertise in his field is extensive. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

The health of a carer is often overlooked, however an unexpected benefit of the treatment was that as I also followed my husband’s dietary programme and was able to relax safe in the knowledge that Dr Henriquez was “taking control of everything”, I returned home four weeks later feeling and looking healthier than I had for many months. I was able to support, encourage and cope once again. “

Impact of Drugs on Society
By: Nate Rodnay
How do drugs impact on society?

Drug addiction has become a very destructive element in our society. The widespread use of drugs such as LSD, heroin, cocaine, "angel dust," marijuana and a long list of others has contributed heavily to a debilitated society.

The importation of illicit drugs in the United-States is a close second to the import of petroleum. According to the NIDA, drug abuse has an economic impact on society of $67 billion per year. This includes costs related to crime, drug abuse treatment, medical costs and time lost from work and social welfare programs. NIDA also states that getting treatment can reduce these costs.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that more than 25,000 people died in 2003 from drug-induced effects. CDC further reports that 123,235 adults living with AIDS in the United States in 2003 contracted the disease from injection drug use, and the survival rate for those persons is less than that for persons who contract AIDS from any other mode of transmission.

A close connection exists between crime and drug use. Alcohol and drugs account for 52 percent of all traffic fatalities, according to the Hazleden Foundation. In the U.S., 47% of all women diagnosed with AIDS are injecting drug users and another 19% report having sex with users who inject drug.

Drugs and Crime

There is a high impact on Society of drugs. It was found that drugs and crimes are interrelated, as demonstrated by researches done by the United States National Institute of Justice.

The major impact on drug-addicts is that they prone to commit crimes. They need money to finance their drug taking habit and for that they seldom have money, so they indulge themselves in petty crimes and in consequence they entangle themselves in big crimes also.

In a study done in British Columbia almost 50 per cent of those drivers involved in motor vehicle crashes who tested positive for drugs, tested positive for marihuana use. Marihuana use increases the risk of a motor vehicle accident by at least 2-4 times. This shows the consequence of drug addiction is more on society.

Prevention - Is it Possible?

The UK report in 2007 found that government-backed education and prevention programmes designed to steer youngsters away from drugs appear to have had "very little impact" on experimentation with illicit substances.

However, it can be prevented a little by seeking a continuity of services for youngsters transitions through the system between the ages of 18 and 21, by developing a cadre of adequately trained management personnel and by supporting the effort of agencies that provide a catalyst for prevention work.
