Creflo Dollar Ministries Featuring: "Trust In The Wind" on Your World with Creflo and PERFECTED AND COMPLETED BY CHRIST

"Trust In The Wind" on Your World with Creflo [This video and more below]

PERFECTED AND COMPLETED BY CHRIST

by Taffi Dollar

For many people looking to find the perfect relationship with the perfect “significant other,” the dating scene can seem like a painful catastrophe. We live in an imperfect world filled with imperfect people, and we wonder how someone else could make us happy. With a focus like this, it’s virtually impossible to find God’s match for us. When we realize that true happiness is found only in Jesus Christ and ask for His help in the search, our entire focus shifts from us to Him.
God didn’t create us to go through life by ourselves. After He created Adam, He created Eve to rescue Adam from being alone, to complement him, and to be his equal (Genesis 2:18, 21-24). The world may give us crazy, mixed-up messages about what kind of relationships are okay by its standards, but God’s standards for a relationship are always in our best interests.
Happiness doesn’t come from any external sources; it’s a mistake to think that another person can complete us. Jesus is the only one who can perfect and complete us, and fill in all the empty spaces in our lives. Since humans all have quirks and flaws, unrealistic expectations put too much pressure on a relationship. If we want to find our mate, we must be patient and let God guide us. “But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” (James 1:4, NKJV).
Too often we see painful, unhappy, dysfunctional relationships, and the common thread is that each person in them is focused on themselves instead of God. He wants us to form happy, healthy relationships, but self-centeredness hinders that from happening. God knows exactly what we’re looking for in a life partner, and putting a relationship with Him first frees Him to begin working in this area on our behalf. “For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:32, 33, NKJV).
Many people pursue a relationship out of fear of being alone or because they don’t like themselves and think someone else can make them feel better. We were created in God’s image and He loves and accepts us just the way we are, imperfections and all. Learning to love, respect, and value ourselves changes our perspective. Letting God’s love flow through us allows us to love others the same way. “Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. We love each other because he loved us first” (1 John 4:18, 19, NLT).
Through our own efforts, finding the one person who’s right for us can be like searching for a needle in a haystack. Listening to dating advice from friends and family can be risky. Without God’s input, the odds are stacked against us, but listening to His directions gives us wisdom to know just how to proceed. “Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed” (Proverbs 16:3, AMPC). Trusting God on this positions us for success.

SEPTEMBER 16 From CDM

“Then Peter opened his mouth and said: ‘In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality’” (Acts 10:34, NKJV).
If we don’t correctly interpret how the new covenant of grace radically transforms gender roles in every area of life, we can find ourselves trapped in the old covenant that Jesus died to set us free from. We all stand on equal ground and everyone now has equal access to God.

The hamstring thing isn't going away. One of my new goals is to try to put new content pieces out that make finding info easier. Yesterday I pulled up a bunch of links for in season training and today I want to link to a bunch of hamstring articles.

The interesting thing is that everyone says they did all the right things but, I'm not so sure?

ACL Links.

Michael Boyle et. al.
We are constantly saying that ACL prevention and ACL rehab is really just good training. The concepts that we espouse here ( the MBSC/ CFSC system) can create a great ACL injury prevention or, a great ACL rehab program. Here are some links to some of the best ACL related articles on the site.
Comprehensive Training Program for Knee Rehab Continuation- Jonas Beauchemin Asst Strength Coach Atlanta Falcons
Jonas does a great job here working through the rehab process based on our methods. Although this is a few years old, it's still excellent.
This one looks at the concept of prevention and, how sound training concepts are the key to ACL injury prevention/ reduction.
Vince does a great job looking at some of the "little things" that often get overlooked.
This is a hugely important piece of the ACL puzzle. Don't forget the good leg! I'm amazed that so many therapists over look this.
And remember, the real key to benefitting from the site is to learn to use the search functions and the forums. For search, type any word into the search box on the top left. Under search fields, click "headlines". That will turn up all articles with that term in the headline ( you can do that for any word but ACL brings up a lot more than what is here.).
The Forum Search is slightly trickier because you see two search buttons when you are in the forums. You want to use the smaller font one that is slightly lower down. Click "search all forums" and search the same words. There is lots of stuff.

The real learning is on the forum. Don't be afraid to post questions. People are great with help.

Joel Osteen Recent Messages Featuring: Victoria Osteen - Keep The Right Perspective

The Bible tells us to constantly “be made new in the attitude of your minds” (Ephesians 4:23). We choose the way we see life, whether we will be grateful or negative about what we think is good and not good. Your attitude has a direct correlation with your success. Someone with a good attitude sees solutions and feels as though they can tackle anything. How you see your life makes all the difference in the world! This is message #774, "Keep The Right Perspective", by Victoria Osteen. For more inspirational messages, visit https://www.JoelOsteen.com/Messages

What’s Playing in Your Mind?

Post by Joel Osteen

There's a recording constantly playing in our mind that's telling us who we are. The problem for some people is that their recording is negative. It's been that way so long they don't realize it. Something is telling them over and over, "You're not attractive…you don't have a good personality…you've made too many mistakes." They don't feel good about themselves because of what's playing. Some of this started back in childhood. Somebody told them they'll never do much in life. A friend of mine told the high school counselor that he wanted to become a doctor, but the counselor told him that he didn't have the skills to do that. My friend was so deflated, and he let that message play over and over and never went after his dreams.
Are you letting what somebody said hold you back? Have you allowed it to become part of the recording that plays in your mind? The good news is, you control your recording. You don't have to let those thoughts keep playing. The key is to turn off the old recording and put on a new one. Here's what should be playing in your mind. "I am talented, valuable, attractive, and blessed. I have a good personality." Pay attention to what's playing in your mind. Don't go through life being against yourself, focused on your faults, and carrying a nagging feeling that's always reminding you of what you're not and how you don't measure up.Take inventory of what's playing. Delete any defeating thoughts of being unworthy, not good enough. Then put on a new recording. You'll be amazed at what happens when you go through the day playing what God says about you. The psalmist said, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Play the new recording, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I'm a masterpiece. I'm one of a kind. I have seeds of greatness."
David said, "God, You made me in an amazing way. What You have done is wonderful." One version uses the word "marvelous." Imagine going through the day with those words playing in your mind: "I'm amazing. I'm marvelous. I'm wonderful." God wants you to feel right about yourself. When He created you, He stepped back and said, "That was very good." When you look in the mirror in the morning, why don't you say, "Good morning, you amazing thing. Good morning, you fearfully-and-wonderfully-made child of the Most High God." You're not bragging on you; you're bragging on what God has done. When you feel good about yourself, you'll go further, you'll have better relationships, and you'll enjoy life more. It all starts on the inside.

Today's Rock Almighty Devotional-Ken Tamplin - Livin For My Lord

SEPTEMBER 15 From CdM

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:19-21).
Acquiring money simply for the sake of collecting earthly wealth does us no good because we can’t take it with us when we die. We’re far better off valuing the Word of God.
