“Over twenty years ago I was in a place called Mogadishu, Somalia for this whole ‘Black Hawk Down’ deal.
Back in the day, pushups, situps and a two-mile run was the US Army’s way of measuring physical fitness. And we did that test because it was an Army requirement.
But the PT test we used for our team was more mission-specific. It included a weighted rope climb, dips, pullups, a shuttle run, a two-mile run, and a ruck run. These are the tactical bodyweight exercises that mimic the demands of a real mission.
I’ve never been in a gunfight and thought, ‘I should have done more bench presses.’
Nowadays, when I step on the range with a bunch of people that carry a gun for a living, I want them to have the functional physical fitness, combat mindset, and firearm skills to do their job.”

Jesse Duplantis 2018 - You’ll learn how to fill and seal the cracks that are affecting your faith and Start Speaking Faith Now
Jesse Duplantis 2018 - You’ll learn how to fill and seal the cracks that are affecting your faith [Video Below]
…Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Start Speaking Faith Now
Kenneth Copeland
Matthew 12:34-35
Words won’t work without faith any more than faith will work without words! It takes them both to put the law of faith in motion.
Many believers don’t realize that. They’ll continually speak words of doubt and unbelief, then they’ll jump up one day and say a couple of faith words and expect mountains to move—and to their dismay, they don’t.
Why not?
Because as Matthew 12:34-35 says, it’s the words that come from the heart that produce results. The person who just throws in a couple of faith words now and then isn’t speaking them from the abundance of his heart, so they’re not effective.
Does that mean you shouldn’t start speaking words of faith until you’re sure you have the faith to back them?
No! Speaking words of faith is good spiritual exercise. If you want to receive healing by faith, for example, fasten your mind and your mouth on the Word of God where your health is concerned. Instead of talking about how miserable you feel, quote Isaiah 53:5. Say, “Jesus was wounded for my transgressions. He was bruised for my iniquities. The chastisement of my peace was upon Him; and with His stripes, praise God, I was healed!”
If you’ll continue to meditate on those words and continue to say them, the truth in them will begin to sink in. They’ll take root in your heart and begin to grow. And eventually you really will be speaking from the abundance of your heart.
When that happens, it won’t matter what the circumstances look like. You’ll know you have what you’ve been believing for and the devil himself won’t be able to talk you out of it. You’ll cross the line from hope to faith, and you’ll start seeing those mountains move!

The Down and Dirty Secrets To Increasing Your Strength
Increase Strength [From Hitchfit.com]
4 Secrets To Increasing Your Strength
Here at Hitch Fit, we help individuals lose weight, eat right, gain muscle, and become happy, healthy individuals. Today we’re going to talk about four tips to increasing your physical strength. No matter what program you use, there are always ways to improve on them and make sure you’re pumping as much iron as you can or want to. Check them out below!
1. Change Positions
Either your hands or feet need to change it up once in awhile. By creating variations, you will work different areas of each muscle, and even different muscles. Get more definition, and increase your range of motion by trying out a different stance once a week. Additionally, move your hands closer together or further apart, and alternate between close, far, and mid-ranges each week. Ensuring that you work your muscle from every direction will ensure a firmer, stronger physique!
2. Straight Lines Are Your Friends
Any lifting position, on a bench, squatting, or completing deadlifts, should involve the use of imaginary straight lines. The barbell needs to follow a straight line; this not only helps to improve strength, but is also puts your body into natural biomechanical alignment. Get your body strong and healthy by improving muscle strength and natural body alignment. The strongest lifters in the world, when studied, were shown to lift in a perfect straight line. Like any new workout, it will be hard at first. Persevere, and you will be well on your way to increased strength!
3. Unstable Surfaces Aren’t Helping You
While lifting on a yoga ball has become a way to build stability, this actually does nothing for your strength. Balancing should come from the ground up, not an unsteady surface up. Muscle size and quality come from working muscles, not attempting to stay steady while lifting. Also, lifting on an unbalanced surface requires your focus to shift from one task to the other. Since you aren’t focusing solely on one area of fitness, you will be lacking in both. Stick to lifting on your feet or a bench press to ensure you are appropriately working your muscles. Want to increase your core strength? Sign up for the Hitch Fit Newsletter and get Diana’s Sexy Abs Routine here!
4. Percentages Aren’t Everything
Though helpful, percentage charts shouldn’t represent the exact level to pursue next. Focus on that day’s work, and give it all you’ve got! Increasing in small portions is wise, of course, but don’t get out of a decent workout by sticking to the chart. If you can do more – lift it! Leave nothing but your sweat on the floor. Work those muscles as long as you can. You won’t regret it.

At Hitch Fit, we are always striving to bring the best out of our athletes, and look for ways to help them achieve their goals – in fitness and life! Inflammatory Foods List To Avoid Disease
By: Josef Bichler |
Many people usually ignore knee and hip pain, thinking that these are normal effects of aging. However, as years progress many people have reported intensified pains and begin to rely on some medication. In the long run they may end up doing certain activities that make them feel this kind of pain.
Whenever any part of your body swells or you are in pain, you may conclude that these are just signs of "wearing down" just like a vehicle does! You may even think that you are developing arthritis. It is important to note that our bodies are not constituted of small pieces which have been assembled together just like vehicles. Our bodies are made up of living cells which have to be strengthened on a daily basis by eating foods that are fully nourished. According to the WHO report, about 12.9 million people died as a result of some form of heart disease. The world's body of cancer reports that about 8 million people die annually because of cancer. This is a worrying trend which has to be addressed if future lives are to safe and secured. It is important to note that cancer and the heart disease are only but a deadly manifestation of the chronic inflammation. Cancer and heart disease is one of the leading causes of premature deaths in most developed countries. These diseases are usually caused by the inflammatory foods list. Research has however shown that we can avoid the risk of cancer and heart disease by making the correct lifestyle choices. The food that we eat on our day to day life tops the list of what we can do to address these problems. Whenever you eat anything you are either balancing anti inflammatory or pro inflammatory compounds in your body. You are basically tipping the scale from one end to the other. You ought to know the inflammatory foods list. You need to eat to shift the balance in your favor by integrating more of the anti inflammatory and natural foods in your meal. Since it is a give and take situation, you also have to cut down on the foods that are known to promote inflammation. Some of the inflammatory foods list includes the sugars, common cooking oils, dairy products, trans fats, feedlot raised meat, processed and red meat, refined grains, alcohol and artificial food additives just but to mention a few. Sugar Sugar tops the inflammatory foods list. When you take excessive sugar in your diet, you are likely to suffer from chronic and inflammatory diseases such as type 2 diabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome. It also causes tooth decay and acne. Sugars are found in the fruit drinks, soft drinks, pastries, snacks, candies, desserts and punches. Cooking Oils The most commonly used cooking oils in many restaurants and homes are high in omega 6 fatty acids and low in the omega 3 fatty acids. A diet with an imbalanced omega 3 to omega 6 ratio promotes inflammation. You will find these cooking oils in vegetable oils like the sunflower oils, safflower, cottonseed and grape seeds. Industrial vegetable oils also fall under the inflammatory foods list. Dairy Products The dairy products also fall under the inflammatory foods list. It is estimated that about 60% of the earth's population cannot digest milk. The ability to digest milk after the infancy stage is considered abnormal. The inability of milk to be digested in your body may as well trigger the inflammatory responses like diarrhea, hives, acne and stomach distress. You will find milk in all the dairy products like cheese and butter. |

Police Activity Featuring: RAW Bodycam Footage of Man Repeatedly Tased by Tulsa Cops and Impact of Drugs on Society
** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) **
Tulsa Police have released video of the moments a man was tased in downtown Tulsa. Joshua Harvey died three days later, and his family buried him this weekend. The entire 26-minute video shows Joshua Harvey being tased several times at Arvest Bank before heading to the hospital, where he later died. [Video Below]
The events inside Arvest Bank come just minutes after police say they tried to restrain Joshua Harvey down the street. Police say they had several calls about a man screaming and removing his clothes at 6th and Main. Officers attempted to calm him down. "Relax, relax, relax. You're OK. You're cool,” said one officer in the video. Harvey ran off and police would catch up with him at the bank. Police say the video shows Harvey's strength busting open a glass door to get inside. Two officers use their tasers, and eventually, four officers work to handcuff Harvey. EMSA showed up and took Harvey to the hospital where he died three days later.
An attorney for Harvey's family says his team is early in their investigation. The attorney says Harvey was unarmed, adding, "At this point, we just want to know exactly what happened between Joshua and the TPD officers I ask for prayer for Joshua's family," In a statement, police say they won't be available to talk about the video until Tuesday. It will be up to the Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause of Harvey's death.

Impact of Drugs on Society
By: Nate Rodnay |
How do drugs impact on society?
Drug addiction has become a very destructive element in our society. The widespread use of drugs such as LSD, heroin, cocaine, "angel dust," marijuana and a long list of others has contributed heavily to a debilitated society. The importation of illicit drugs in the United-States is a close second to the import of petroleum. According to the NIDA, drug abuse has an economic impact on society of $67 billion per year. This includes costs related to crime, drug abuse treatment, medical costs and time lost from work and social welfare programs. NIDA also states that getting treatment can reduce these costs. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that more than 25,000 people died in 2003 from drug-induced effects. CDC further reports that 123,235 adults living with AIDS in the United States in 2003 contracted the disease from injection drug use, and the survival rate for those persons is less than that for persons who contract AIDS from any other mode of transmission. A close connection exists between crime and drug use. Alcohol and drugs account for 52 percent of all traffic fatalities, according to the Hazleden Foundation. In the U.S., 47% of all women diagnosed with AIDS are injecting drug users and another 19% report having sex with users who inject drug. Drugs and Crime There is a high impact on Society of drugs. It was found that drugs and crimes are interrelated, as demonstrated by researches done by the United States National Institute of Justice. The major impact on drug-addicts is that they prone to commit crimes. They need money to finance their drug taking habit and for that they seldom have money, so they indulge themselves in petty crimes and in consequence they entangle themselves in big crimes also. In a study done in British Columbia almost 50 per cent of those drivers involved in motor vehicle crashes who tested positive for drugs, tested positive for marihuana use. Marihuana use increases the risk of a motor vehicle accident by at least 2-4 times. This shows the consequence of drug addiction is more on society. Prevention - Is it Possible? The UK report in 2007 found that government-backed education and prevention programmes designed to steer youngsters away from drugs appear to have had "very little impact" on experimentation with illicit substances. However, it can be prevented a little by seeking a continuity of services for youngsters transitions through the system between the ages of 18 and 21, by developing a cadre of adequately trained management personnel and by supporting the effort of agencies that provide a catalyst for prevention work. |

Believer's Voice Of Victory Network Featuring: Religious Rights In America
Do you know where you stand when it comes to politics? In this video, Pastor George Pearsons, from Eagle Mountain International Church and Kenneth Copeland Ministries, explains that to make a biblically based decision about how you vote, you must first examine the two political platforms—Democrat and Republican. [Video Below]
A platform is something you stand on, and the decisions politicians make are based largely on the platform of their party. When you go to cast your vote, first determine which platform best aligns with how the kingdom of God operates—on abortion, same-sex marriage, and religious rights in America. If you vote for a politician connected with a platform that promotes an issue that is not in line with God’s Word, you become an accomplice to that wickedness.
What about not voting at all? It can be tempting to remain neutral in difficult election cycles, but the Lord will hold us all responsible for how we choose to vote—even if we abstain from voting at all. Your vote is your God-given responsibility and the seed that will produce your future environment. So, sow a seed of obedience with your vote. Then, no matter what the outcome, continue to walk by faith, believe God, and be strong in the Lord and the power of His might.
How do you vote? Vote the platform. Protect religious rights in America.
Everything that is going wrong in our nation is not to be laid at the feet of the politicians, the Democrats, the Republicans, the Independents or the Libertarians. It is laid at the feet of the Body of Christ. We are the ones with authority over the devil and we are the ones who are responsible. Our religious rights in America depend on it.
