Joel Osteen Recent Messages Featuring: Joel Osteen - Just Obey

Every day there are opportunities where God longs to speak to you and situations where He wants to guide you down the best path. But first, we have to listen. [Video Below] Isaiah 1:19 says, “If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land.” In this message, Joel will show you how many times we don’t realize that God is speaking to us. You will learn how God has secrets He wants to whisper to you with inside information that will propel you forward. If you’ll be sensitive to His voice, the still, small voice, the promptings, suggestions and alarms, then God will save you from heartache and pain. He’ll lead you into promotion and favor. There’s no limit to where God will take you! This is message #692, "Just Obey," by Joel Osteen. For more inspirational messages, visit https://www.JoelOsteen.com/Messages

See the Masterpiece

Post by Joel Osteen on July 13, 2018

Years ago Victoria and I were building a house. The foundation was poured, most of the framing was done, and the roof was in place but not shingled when a big storm moved in, and it rained for two days. When it cleared up, the house was such a mess. The living room looked like a dirty swimming pool with plywood floating around on about a foot of water. Workers had tracked in mud all throughout the house. Outside there was discarded lumber and trash piled high that couldn't be picked up because of the deep mud. It looked like a disaster. What's interesting is that we didn't say, "Stop building! It's never going to be what we wanted." We knew the mess was all a part of the building process to get a beautiful house.

In the same way, you have to see the things that are messy in your life, things you struggle with, things that seem out of place as simply under construction. It doesn't mean it's not going to work out. That water in your living room—the disappointment, the delay, the betrayal—you may not like it, but it's just part of the process. You're under construction. You can't become all you were created to be without messy times. To the untrained eye, the construction site can seem disorganized and random, but the architect isn't concerned because he drew the plans and knows exactly where it's going. Your architect and builder is the Most High God. He's designed a specific plan for your life, which the messy places can't stop. God's already taken into account all the delays, the things you don't understand, and even the mistakes you've made. You may think your dream can never work out, but God is saying, "You're right on schedule. You're not a finished product. I'm still working on you. What I started I'm going to bring to completion."
The enemy will whisper, "Look at you, such a mess. It will never work out." Just say to him, "I'm under construction. I have some messy areas, but God's still working on me." The apostle Paul said, "We are God's masterpiece" (Ephesians 2:10). You may not be there yet, but stop beating yourself up. Your attitude should be, "I'm a masterpiece in the making." When that voice tells you how you don't measure up and how you've done too much wrong, just say, "Yes, but I'm under God's construction. I'm growing, I'm coming up higher, and I know that He's going to finish what He started."
Look beyond the mess and see the masterpiece.

Presented On US Sports Net By Yahoo Small Business!
By: Steve Renner

Before revealing the tricks of the trades, there are a few myths and fallacies that need to be cleared up. These common marketing misconceptions could be obstacle to you profiting from your online business.

Email marketing is one of the most cost effective marketing methods today because virtually everyone uses email. When you are filling out various forms for processing different transactions online your email address is always required. A person without an email address is like a person without an online home, which is inexcusable for someone in this generation.

Direct Email marketing (Spam) campaigns can offend a lot of people. The secret way around this problem is through permission-based marketing or Opt-In.

The Real Deal with Building an Opt-In List

Here's how you can benefit from the power of email marketing campaigns - building an Opt-In list.

Building an good Opt-In list is not a cake walk for everyone, particularly for the uninformed. Here is a rundown of tips on how you can succeed with Opt-In Email Marketing.

1. Strategic Data Collection

Capture the email address from your site visitors. This will help you to build your business and make sales skyrocket. There are several tactics you can use to make people voluntarily provide you with their personal information. This will make it easier to get higher conversions.

Ask only for the Opt-In, with their first name and email addresses.

2. Good Implementation

The old saying holds true - 'action speaks louder than words'. This easily translates to the difficulty people have when they go to executetheir email marketing efforts.

There are various methods, often low-cost, around to help you build your Opt-In database.

Tracking your email marketing results is important. You can use special software to handle this aspect of your marketing. This will help you to keep track of where your Opt-Ins are coming from.

The following are the most widely used methods to leverage your Opt-In campaign without overspending:

1. Use a Squeeze Page.

This is an excellent tool for data collection and can providing you with fresh leads. Offer a Bribe, or Free Offer in exchange for their email address. Use forms that collect your visitor's name and email address.

2. You can use of print ads, brochures, TV, radio and direct mail.

These are the more traditional ways of marketing that still work to generate traffic to your site. You may want to ask for signups for email services. Make your website more visible through these media. Offering a free newsletters and or a free product or service can work to get the email from your visitors.

3. Maximize your sales force.

An Affiliate Program can help you to benefit more from your email marketing campaign. Affiliates people with proper training on how to attract visitors can help you to get more Opt-In subscribers. 4. Don't make your point of sale confusing.

Forms for signup located at the right spot on your Squeeze Page and other high-traffic pages can be very excellent ways for your business to collect email addresses. Notification of upcoming sales or some free bonus can be enough to coax them to supply you with the information you need.

5. Conferences or trade shows can work, too.

Using Offline techniques can work well and should be used in addition to Online Methods. Giveaway offers or entries in a contest are a great incentive for people to volunteer their contact details.

These tactics should be applied with caution and you should focus on earning the trust of your Opt-In list instead of simply collecting data for your own benefit. Always make sure that the forms and other methods that you use will not be too difficult to use for the subscriber. You don't want people to not be annoyed during the sign up process.

Armed with this information, you can't go wrong building your opt-in list!

Guide to Understanding The Bible with Confidence
By: Francis Hirak

The key to understanding the Bible with confidence is Godly devotion. It is essential for one to train their self in order to achieve full Godly devotion. One’s aim or objective in training their self is not to achieve selfish, materialistic gain. However, there is gain to the one who is content with their lot, who continues in a Godly devotion along with self-sufficiency. "It holds promise of the life now," namely spiritual health, satisfaction, happiness and a purpose in living. It also holds promise of the life that "is to come." (1 Tim 4:7-8; 6:6-8 )

To get the true Bible understanding with confidence, the one professing Godly devotion must recognize its power to change their personality and must be true and genuine in following Godliness. (1 Tim 6:11 ) One must recognize that God’s Word is His expression of the way of Godly devotion and they must conform to its precepts. (Titus 1:1; 2 Pet 1:3 ) Since Godly devotion is toward God personally, His Word and spirit will bring one to know Him personally, intimately, and to become more like Him-to be an imitator or copier of Him. (Eph 5:1 ) Such one will reflect more and more the fine qualities of Him which will lead to understanding the Bible with a clear view. (2 Cor 3:18 )

Bible understanding also includes the necessary element which is spiritual understanding that involves the mind and heart. The things perceived by one’s senses, such as sight and hearing, are interpreted by the brain, and understanding is therefore connected with the mental faculties. ( Compare Job 6:30; 9:11; 13:1; 23:8-9 ) But understanding Bible Scriptures show that understanding in its more vital sense involves the heart as well. As Jesus said to His disciples: Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened? "Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember?" ( Mark 8:17-21) So there is interaction of mind and heart in considering analyzing reasoning, pondering and meditating.

Meditation is another key factor to understanding the Bible. In order to meditate properly on Bible Scriptures, one needs to be free from distractions, alone with his thoughts, so to speak. Isaac, for example, went out walking alone in the early evening to meditate, possibly about his coming marriage to Rebekah. (Gen 24:63) It was during the solitude of the night watches that the psalmist meditated on the greatness of his grand Creator. (Ps 63:6) The meditations of the heart should be focused on beneficial things, on God’s splendor and activities, on things pleasing Him. (Ps 19:14; 49:3; 77:12; 143:5) and not on the devices of the wicked. (Prov 24:1-2)

With regard to understanding the Bible by engaging meditation to Bible study, one will not be inclined to give foolish answers, merely out of their head. Their heart will work out the matter of importance and the answers given to understanding Bible Scriptures will be out of the heart. The heart of the righteous studies how to answer. (Prov 15:28)

To understand how important meditation is for Bible understanding let us look at Joshua. When Joshua was appointed as the overseer of the nation of Israel he was instructed to make a copy of God’s law, and was told, "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Josh 1:8) Therefore if one meditates on the Bible Scriptures they are guaranteed sure success to understanding the Bible. And as it goes on to say in Joshua 1:9, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

God is the Source of understanding and the Supreme Example of its use. The splendid coordination and functioning of the universe, in which each creation serves a particular and harmonious purpose, with no clashes or problems resulting due to lack of discernment on their Creator’s part, manifest God’s understanding. (Job 38:36; Ps 136:5-9)

With regards to understanding the Bible, God can exercise insight into the thoughts and doings of all mankind and as He chooses, He gives thoughtful consideration or attention to individuals. He knows His own invincible purpose, what He will do in the future, and His righteous standards are fixed, unchangeable; hence "there is no wisdom, nor any discernment, nor any counsel in opposition to God." (Prov 21:30) He needs to consult no one to understand a matter, such as how to help His servants effectively or to relieve them from distress and oppression. (Isa 40:10-15; 27-31)

In view of the fact that there is no counsel in opposition to God, one must focus their eyes and ears upon God to acquire His help with understanding the Bible. Through Godly devotion, meditation in Bible study, prayer, and the help of the Holy Spirit one will develop an intimate relationship with God. Our Father said: ‘Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand'. (Isa 41:10)

Bearing in mind that we are servants of God, let us ask in prayer for Bible understanding in Jesus’ name for help in understanding Bible Scriptures. Through Jesus’ blood, offered to God in sacrifice, "we have boldness for the way of entry into the Holy place," that is, boldness to approach God’s presence in prayer, approaching, "with true hearts in the full assurance of faith." (Heb 10:19-22) Jesus Christ is therefore the one and only "way" of reconciliation with God and approach to God in prayer. (John 14:6)

Minding Your Business-Email Marketing in 2018 and Beyond

Presented on US Sports Net By Yahoo Small Business!
By: Rimma Paulsen
Having preached about how email marketing is far from dead and taking a look at past mistakes in your campaign, it is time to take a long overdue look at the future. There have been massive strides made in the email marketing space in recent years but there is still plenty of room for improvement. As the lead support rep in North America, I am the first line of defence when a client comes in with a feature request, so I’ve heard it all. While there are some outlandish requests, like the ability to stop contacts from manually placing emails into the spam folder, there have been a number of ideas brought up that really struck a chord with me. Here, I will take the time to go over a few of these concepts and see how they could impact the email game going forward.

Auto-segmentation and Personalization

You may be saying to yourself, "wait a second, both of these are doable right now! What’s up?" And that is true, but no to the extent email marketers want or need. Yes, you can parse lists according to a number of different variables and even customize email content based on pre-set values, but it still largely has to be done manually.

What I’ve found to be a common request is the desire to do more in a fraction of the time. People want to import their list and then have the work done for them. While this may seem like the fantasy of a lazy salesperson, it actually isn’t that far from being a reality. With advances in AI happening so rapidly it isn’t out of the realm of possibility to create a thinking and growing email platform that can cut your workload in half.

Imagine automatically seeing your contacts organised according to age group, gender or location and then a template is automatically brought up based on those segments? It would be quite the convenience wouldn’t it?

The value of a flat out email list just isn’t there anymore; it is about all of the additional data you can collect about that list. Knowledge is power, and the more you know about a potential client the more versatility you grant yourself. With a system that could automatically sort through the information you input, create segments and populate templates with the best variables for that given segment a sales rep could get an exponential amount of work done in comparison to have to sift through everything manually.

An Interactive Age – Branching Campaigns

Much like the previous section, branching campaigns are not a novel concept, though they aren’t the norm either. But this idea expands on that even further. Take, for instance, a restaurant sending newsletters. Today you can have a static image of your menu, maybe an animated banner and links to your website. Wouldn’t it be better to have the entire interactive menu from the site proper embedded in the actual email chain?

Instant gratification has become a staple of the Internet, so why not let your customers interact with your site from the get go? The email routine today goes a little like this:

Email is received

Open the email

Client is interested

Client clicks link and is taken to the website

They then have to sign-in and search for whatever it was that interested them about the email.
Along the way they lose interest because of the back and forth
You can craft the perfect copy but the disconnect between the email and the actual purchasing process can lead to lost sales. If the interface of your email had the same level of interaction as your site you could essentially cut out the middleman and have them make purchases from directly within the message.

Which then leads us to the concept of branching campaigns. Based on the level of interaction a client shows you can trigger different phases of the campaign. If someone is showing a lot of interest the platform would automatically detect this and skip ahead a few follow-ups to take a more direct approach. If a prospect seems a little more hesitant they would be sent down a path with a bit more nurturing. It all boils down to advancements in AI and the ability to implement these ideas into an email without setting off every spam filter on the Internet, but it would be nice!

One-Click Purchases

Building off of the interactive email concept, the ability to make a payment with a single click, through a fingerprint or retinal scan would be a huge boon to sales teams.

This would mainly be for the mobile markets but the ability to make the sale with a single button press would benefit potential clients and companies alike. As mentioned above, there is a current disconnect between the email and the purchasing process. External links are necessary, which leads to unnecessary time being spent and potential frustration building.

We live in a world of impulse buyers, and adding this tool may seem like taking advantage of the times, but isn’t that what we’re here for? If we aren’t going to capitalize on trends we may as well be in another industry all together.

Giving people the option to buy your product or service with the touch of a button will save both party’s time and energy.
As mentioned previously, all of these advancements rely on an expansion of the email platform in general as well as rapid AI development in the future. That being said, it isn’t too hard to imagine these actually coming to fruition in the near future. Nothing will ever beat a hand written letter to a potential client, but to be able to create that same feel in a fraction of the time is an immeasurable asset that shouldn’t be ignored.
