Vigorous Exercise Helps Women Quit Smoking, Stay Smoke Free

Hello there Athletes and Warriors!
Interesting guest article here. Not the premise of exercise being a much healthier substitute for smoking, we all know that; but the idea of vigorous or intense exercise that may eliminate the desire to smoke.
That means the 2 hour treadmill or elliptical trainer marathons that many will make the mistake of putting into their programs are no where near as effective as a calisthenic or sprint-style workout that barely needs 20 minutes to be effective.
Read on and get this revelation, especially if you or someone you know smokes. Male as well as female.
Then click here to get your program online that can effectively and safely incorporate intense exercise into your program.

Vigorous Exercise Helps Women Quit Smoking, Stay Smoke Free
CHICAGO (AP)--Women who exercise vigorously while trying to quit smoking are twice as likely to kick the habit than wannabe ex-smokers who don't work out regularly, a new study finds.

The report also offers good news to female smokers who fear that giving up tobacco and nicotine will lead to weight gain. Researchers found that women who worked out as they tried to quit gained only about half the weight of those who did not exercise.

"I can't say that definitively this will help all people, but given all of the other health benefits associated with regular exercise I would certainly encourage people trying to quit smoking to talk to their physicians about starting a program," said Bess Marcus, an associate professor of psychiatry and human behavior at Brown University and the study's lead author.

The findings appear in Monday's Archives of Internal Medicine.

Researchers at The Miriam Hospital in Providence, R.I., followed 281 healthy but sedentary female smokers who attended a 12-week program to stop smoking. About half of the women participated in supervised workouts three times a week during the program while the others did not.

Of the 134 women in the group who exercised regularly, 19.4 percent kicked the habit for at least two months after their program ended while 10.2 percent of the 147 non-exercisers did the same.

Three months later, the comparison of those still smoke-free was 16.4 percent to 8.2 percent, respectively, and 11.9 percent vs. 5.4 percent a year later. The women ranged between ages 18 and 65 and had smoked routinely for at least a year.

"There seems to be a new drug every day to help you quit smoking," Marcus said in a telephone interview Sunday. "But this study suggests that there's a drug-free alternative to quitting smoking if that's what you prefer."

While the researchers at Miriam Hospital studied only women smokers, men who want to quit should expect similar results, said Dr. Michael Roizen, head of anesthesiology and critical care at the University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine.

"I don't think it (gender) makes any difference," said Roizen, a health and lifestyle modification enthusiast who was not involved in the study. "I think you almost have to do some sort of exercise to be successful at quitting."

Fit for LIFE and Business at 55!

Busy Entrepreneur Belinda takes back her life at age 55

Fit for LIFE and Business - Fit over 50 Belinda

It’s hard for me to put together today’s transformation story without tears welling up in my eyes. This one really gets me because I had the chance to work with Belindain person here in Kansas City. This busy and successful entrepreneur had put herself and her health in last place for a long time. After a serious health scare, and with her 55th birthday coming up, she realized if she didn’t make some changes, she may not be around to even run her business. I knew Belinda was ready for change on her first day at the gym. As confident as this woman was in business though, she wasn’t confident in what she was physically capable of achieving. Yes, we had some physical obstacles and challenges to work around, but rather than focusing on the things that she couldn’t do, we focused on all the things that she CAN do. And guess what, that was a LOT. Initially, we set a modest goal of losing 20 pounds of body fat. This goal wasn’t about trying to look better (although that’s a side effect!), it was about getting her body and health to a better place. It was about helping her become stronger and to have more energy to function through her busy days. We also changed up her nutrition to get it in alignment with the fat loss goals. Belinda gave 110% with every session, and on her time outside the gym, she committed to changing her eating habits, and started doing the cardio that she was able to do. It didn’t take long to start seeing changes in her, and I don’t just mean physically. Within just a couple of weeks, Belinda had a sparkle in her eye. You could tell that she was beginning to believe in herself and her capability to achieve these new goals. As she got stronger on the outside, she became stronger on the inside too. She surpassed the 12 week goals that we set in just 8 weeks, so we just kept right on going! Rather than a 20 pound loss, she ended with a 36.5 pound loss, and nearly cut her body fat in half.

What was even greater than the scale losses was the day she let me know her doctor was taking her off her high blood pressure medication. Just amazing!! And then, the day she came to the gym and let me know she was going to do her first triathalon! Well, she did it. This past weekend on September 10, 2016, Micah and I were able to go out and watch her achieve this incredible goal. To see that smiling face cross the finish line was just beyond words. This new woman is not the same one who sat with me in an office back in April filled with doubts of if she would be successful. This new Belinda is a woman who KNOWS she will succeed at whatever she sets her mind to, she’s not afraid to go for it, and I can’t wait to see what she achieves next!!

Congratulations Belinda! I am just beyond proud of you. What a blessing it has been to be a part of this incredible journey with you. I can’t wait to see you continue to succeed with every goal that you set!

Belinda’s Story:

“When Health Takes a Back Seat to Business”

Back in November, 2015, I woke up one morning and honestly thought I was having a heart attack. My arms hurt, my heart was beating out of my chest, my eyes were puffy and swollen, and my head hurt. I took myself right away to see the doctor who informed me that both my blood pressure and resting heart rate were off the charts. I’d never had high blood pressure before, in fact it had always been low, and the racing heart rate was new too. He told me if I kept it up, I was a stroke waiting to happen. He got my attention – in trying to grow my business, I was actually killing myself.

I started on blood pressure meds which got things sort of under control, and confronted by shortening my life, decided I was going to whip myself into shape – no more excuses. The biggest excuse after running a business for 6 years at that point was that I simply didn’t have time.

At this pivotal moment, I realized that I didn’t have time not to.

I cut out all the things that were bad for me – salt, sugar, caffeine (oh yes, typical entrepreneur – would drink a pot of coffee in the morning, then switch to (a lot of) diet Coke in the afternoon), started to limit my lunch-time take-out habit (because I didn’t have time to plan, right?) and got up and walked every morning. I managed to lose 20lbs, but it took me 5 months, and I still didn’t feel good, or look well, and my heart rate and blood pressure were still nowhere close to where they needed to be.

A client nagged – I mean really nagged – and told me I needed to get in shape. When I say nagged, I mean that he cared enough about what was happening to me to help me see the light. Some time at the end of March, 2016, after going it alone for a bit, I decided that with a 55th Birthday coming up, I owed it to myself, to my family, and to my business family to make time to work on me – to be the best 55 year old I could be. So, after emailing Diana and telling her all my tales of woe, on April 19, 2016, I started my journey with Hitch Fit. I had a long way to go, but signed up for personal training with Diana and got to work. During the first meeting after weighing and measuring I was confronted with the terrible truth – that despite my efforts in previous months I was seriously overweight, body fat way up there, and had some pretty serious things to overcome like chronic arthritis and being so out of shape that just walking on a treadmill for a few minutes winded me. The phrase “hot mess” comes to mind.

Diana told me that she thought I could get my body fat down to 25%, and lose 20lbs. Being the independent one that I am, I let her know that I really didn’t think that was going to be possible in 12 weeks, but sure, if she felt I could then why not? I doubted myself – I was committed to making a difference in my own life – but I doubted myself.

And off we went. The first month was great, my strength started to increase, for the first time in my life I learned how to eat properly. Exercise became something I looked forward to and started competing against myself to try to improve. By the second month, I had met my first set of goals – so we set more. At the end of 12 weeks, I still felt that we had a way to go to being the best 55 year old I could be. I suddenly became addicted to fitness – and here I was, the business owner voted least likely to succeed in fitness before I met everyone at Hitch Fit. I kept going, adding 5 weeks to the transformation piece, and am thrilled with the results. I dropped 36.4 lbs and got the body fat to about 18.5%, and lost inches all over in the time I was with Hitch Fit – but that wasn’t the best part for me.

Everyone has different results, the one I’m proudest of isn’t the weight, or the reduction in body fat. The one I’m proudest of is that at age 55, I feel fit, healthy and feel like I could take on the world. I’m off blood pressure medication, I’ve continued to work with a trainer because I love it, I’ve increased my endurance in walking (can’t run because of my arthritis, but can walk REALLY fast), have taken up cycling, and am now taking swimming lessons. On September 10, 2016, I successfully completed a Triathlon – my first – and I couldn’t have even thought about doing that 6 months ago. I’m stronger, eat better than I ever have, can do things would never have been able to do and feel better than I have in years. The physical by-products are nice-to-haves, but what’s on the inside is so much more important.

If you’re thinking about taking on this journey yourself, I challenge you – what are you waiting for? Now I know what it’s done for me, I only wish I had found them sooner. My absolute heartfelt thanks go to Diana and Micah, and now Kevin in OP gets to put up with me. Hitch Fit changed my life. In fact, Hitch Fit gave me back my life and for that I am truly thankful.”

The Missing Link for Motivation

United-Games-300x250.pngIf you've ever wished that you were more motivated to experience life at your full potential then this is for you.

Most of us set goals and work hard only to find our motivation fizzle out after a couple of weeks. But there are little tricks that will help you harness the power of your mind and propel you toward achieving your goal.

The Two Motivators
When you boil it down, you're motivated by two simple things:
  1. To avoid pain (fear of failure)
  2. To gain pleasure (promise of reward)
You are naturally geared toward one of these motivators. To figure out which, think of the last time you accomplished a task and then ask yourself the following: While doing the task were you thinking about what would happen if you failed to finish, or were you thinking about what you would gain when you finished?

Take note as to which motivator works for you - fear of failure, or promise of reward.

Set Your Goal: The first step towards unstoppable motivation is to determine your goal. You know you're unhappy with your body, but what exactly do you want to change? Why is it important to you?

Perhaps you can relate to one of the following goals:
  • You need to lose weight for your health. Your doctor scared you straight or maybe you've had a recent health problem that landed you in the hospital. Your goal is to move away from the pain of sickness.
  • You want to look and feel incredible. You've always wanted to feel vibrant and attractive. The idea of having more energy really excites you. Your goal is to move toward the pleasure and reward of a fit body.
  • You're worried about your kids. They don't eat enough vegetables, they drink more soda pop than water and they play video games constantly. You have decided to model a healthier lifestyle and to encourage your kids to participate. Your goal is to move away from the risks of a sedentary lifestyle and to propel your kids toward a healthy future.
Train Your Mind for Weight Loss:
With your clear and important goal in mind, let's take a few minutes to train your mind to achieve it. You know that weight loss comes as a result of eating right and regular challenging exercise, so let's use your mind to conquer both.

Eating Right:
Use this exercise to distance yourself from the self-sabotaging foods you really wish you didn't eat, and to naturally begin selecting healthy foods.

Take a moment to review your current eating habits. Identify the foods that you should stop eating (hint: sweets, anything fried, refined carbohydrates, sugary drinks). Identify the worst food that you eat regularly but know you shouldn't.

Now imagine the healthy foods that you should eat (hint: vegetables, fruits, whole grains, lean protein). Identify the healthiest food that you know you should eat regularly.

Now with the image of these two foods in mind, find a quiet place and do the following exercise (seriously this stuff works):
  • Draw up the image of your unhealthy food item. This image will likely be quite vivid, with smell, taste and bright color. In your mind, fade this picture to black and white and distance the image until it is dull, fuzzy and remote.
  • Draw up the image of your healthy food item. This image will likely be fuzzy and faded. In your mind, bring this picture to life with smell, taste, sound and bright color.
Regular Exercise: This technique can be applied in a way that encourages you to crave exercise rather than avoid it.

Take a moment to imagine how you feel after a great workout (notice the emphasis on the word after). Remember the physical satisfaction as well as the sweet feeling of accomplishment.

Now bring to your mind the aspects of exercise that you dislike. What is your biggest reason for avoiding exercise? Are you too tired? Do you not have enough time? Is physical exertion too much of a hassle? Pinpoint your greatest complaint about exercise.

Now with the image of these two aspects of exercise in mind, find a quiet place and do the following exercise:
  • Draw up the image of your exercise complaint. The image is likely to be clear and accompanied by the sounds, smells and sensations. In your mind, fade this picture to black and white and distance the image until it is dull, fuzzy and remote.
  • Draw up the image of the wonderful feeling you have after accomplishing a great workout. Magnify this image in your mind. Fixate on how you feel physically, mentally and emotionally. View the experience in bright colors and add a sound track of inspirational music.
Why It Works
If this was your first experience with training your mind (also called Neuro-Linguistic Programming, or NLP) it may have felt a little odd. Many of the world's top achievers regularly use techniques like these to accomplish astounding goals.

The techniques above work because they train your mind to bring your behavior in line with your values. Think about it, you value health, you desire to be fit and attractive and you want to instill healthy habits in your kids.

These techniques encourage you to avoid self-sabotage and to make choices that line up with what you truly value.

Now that you are ready to accomplish your goals, call or email me today to start your fitness program that will greatly improve your life.

Heart Attacks More Deadly for Women

mwp_virtual_trainer.jpgDon't need much commentary here athletes and warriors. Your ticker (heart muscle) is certainly your most important muscle in your body. So our guest article is not here to scare you in any way, but to wake anyone up who needs it. And nothing is more helpful to your heart than a safe, comprehensive, exercise, nutrition and lifestyle program. Let's save your heart today click here to get started.

Heart Attacks More Deadly for Women
(NBC News, ) Heart attacks in women are considerably more likely to be fatal than those in men particularly for younger females, new research shows. And while doctors have thought treatment differences might explain the gender gap, the latest results suggest biological factors are to blame.

"Women with heart attacks, particularly younger women with heart attacks, are at great risk of death and disability and must be treated very aggressively," said Dr. Laura Wexler, a physician affiliated with the University of Cincinnati who wrote an editorial accompanying two new reports in The New England Journal of Medicine. Even though women under 50 get fewer heart attacks than men of the same age, when younger women sustain heart attacks they are twice as likely to die as men, according to a study by Yale University researcher Dr. Viola Vaccarino. The research was based on a review of the records of 384,878 heart attack victims between 1994 and 1998. The study also found that the gender gap narrowed and eventually disappeared later in life.

Over the years, experts have speculated about why heart attacks are more deadly for women, and some have suggested that differences in medical treatment play a role. While this may be part of the story, the new work suggests that biology is probably a more important factor.

Probably biological mechanisms play a major role, but we need to look at the big picture and take into account all aspects of the women and their care, Vaccarino said.

In another study, Dr. Judith Hochman, an investigator affiliated with St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City, found that women of all ages with heart attacks and other forms of heart disease face a greater risk of complications and death.

"I think it is incumbent upon us to figure out why and help reduce that increased risk," said Hochman, who looked at 12,142 men and women who sustained bad heart attacks, milder ones or severe chest pain. In all three categories, women were up to twice as likely to suffer serious complications. Among those who had heart attacks, the women were 50 percent more likely to die within 30 days.

Experts say the essential message from these latest studies is that women and their doctors need to think about heart disease in a fundamentally different way.

Until now, many women like 50-year-old Debbie Coller, who has heart disease, have been unaware of the risk until that first incident.

Coller told NBC News she had thought of heart disease as "a man's type of disease, just like having a baby was a woman's type of thing."

In actuality, heart disease is the No. 1 killer of American women, taking the lives of more than 234,000 a year.

And doctors say women like Coller need to be aware of the threat of heart disease and to take steps to prevent it. Such measures include quitting smoking and lowering their cholesterol and blood pressure.

"Young women need to identify and modify any risk factors they might have for heart disease," Hochman said.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

60 and Fit Weight Loss Plan for Women Before and Afters - Donna

Fit over 60 Before and After Weight Loss Success

Donna’s Story:

“I am 60 years old and my successful Hitch Fit transformation came true because of my daughter, Kristin, who was my inspiration and motivator. Kristin, her husband Anthony, and my four beautiful grandchildren live in Kansas City and I live in St.Louis. On several visits to KC, I kept noticing the muscles that Kristin was developing and she told me she had completed a program called Hitch Fit. Kristin joined the program after giving birth to my four grandchildren (the youngest were triplets) and she wanted to tone up. I could not believe how amazing she looked. Every time I would visit I would comment on how healthy and fit she looked and I kept telling her that I wish I could lose some weight, tone my muscles, and be able to get off some, if not all, of my medications (especially my blood pressure and cholesterol medications). My four grandchildren are the joy of my life and I so wanted to get out of my rut of gaining weight and feeling tired. I wanted to be able to run, play ball and be able to keep up with four energetic 2 and 3 year olds.

I was thrilled to receive as my birthday/Christmas gift, from Kristin and Anthony, the 12 week lose weight program from Hitch Fit. I started the end of January and after completing it I have lost 22 lbs. My energy level has increased and I even have some muscle! Hopefully, my lab work has improved that I may be able to discontinue my medications (I will know in the fall).

The program is amazing! Diana is so helpful and answers every question you may have. She leads you through until the end of your program.

I can’t tell you how grateful and blessed I am that I have a daughter who cared so much about my physical well being that she recommended to me the Hitch Fit weight loss program and encouraged me to do it. I saw her great results first hand, right before my eyes, so I knew it worked.

I have changed my lifestyle to eating healthy and exercising. I was able to celebrate this years Mother’s Day with my daughter Meghan in Scottsdale, AZ, hiking mountains, horseback riding, and enjoying life to the fullest! I would not have been able to do that a year ago.

Thanks again Kristin and Anthony!!

#1 fat burning workout in The World!

This may be the most awesome things I've stumbled upon to help my clients burn more fat and get into shape faster.

Let me explain...

I've been testing out a new training program for my clients that not only burns more calories while they're working out with me - but it keeps burning extra calories even after their workout.

Sounds crazy, right?

The post workout calorie burn is actually called "after burn" and it only takes place when a few critical factors are accomplished during the workout.

I won't bore you with the details of the science behind "after burn", but what I can tell you is that if these few critical things are done during your workout, then you can expect to have an elevated metabolism for up to 18 hours AFTER your workout.

Pretty sweet!

Now, just the "after burn" factor is amazing in itself becuase it's almost like getting twice the workout results from each workout.

B-U-T I figured out a way where I can get my clients even FASTER results... and it has NOTHING to do with science.

Say what?!

Yep, this other way of burning more fat and getting faster muscle toning results has nothing to do with exercise science at all.

It's actually all about human psychology...

See, what I figured out was when I train my clients with social media feedback (through our facebook page, email, and phone contact) they actually workout harder. (human nature is to compete I guess)

So then I got to thinking and decided that if I can put together a body transformation challenge where I can train my clients online, for a period of time (six weeks), and give the person with the best transformation a prize (like one of the latest iPads) then you'd really see amazing results!

Makes sense, right?

My special "after burn" producing workouts + a body transformation challenge = massive fat loss, body toning, belly flattening, and sexy arms, legs and butt.

Brilliant!

In fact here's what I expect AVERAGE results to be on this six week body transformation challenge.

Men can expect to drop 25 – 32 pounds of fat Women can expect to drop 12-24 pounds of fat

AND...

on average men can expect to lose: 6.5 inches from their waist and women can expect to lose 4.8 inches from their waist

Yes, all this in six weeks.

Here's the deal: I'm going to launching this Six Week Body Transformation Challenge in about a week. And when I do I'm only going to take on 18 participants so that I can give every participant lots of attention.

And at the end of the six week transformation challenge I'm giving the winner a new iPad (actually everyone will win since there's going to be a LOT of inches and pounds lost).

So if you are interested in dropping 5-8 inches off your waist in the next 6 weeks (plus a pile of weight) then send me an email and I will put you on the "action taker" list and reserve your spot.

These action takers will get email notification of the program launch date BEFORE my normal list.

Email me now to get on the awesomeness priority list :)

INDIANA (PA) DOMINATES BOWIE STATE LADY BULLDOGS 82-39

(INDIANA, Pa. – December 19, 2011) The Indiana University of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawks outscored Bowie State University 42-15 in the second half, routing the Lady Bulldogs 82-39. The loss drops Bowie State’s record to 0-8 for the year while IUP stays undefeated at 10-0.

Bowie State, playing with only seven active players, was led by senior Kimberly Jones with a team-high 15 points and seven rebounds. Sophomore Brooke Miles added 9 points and six rebounds in the loss.

As a team, the Lady Bulldogs shot a frigid 23 percent from the field (14-of-60) and converted 9-of-12 from the free throw line (75 percent). On the flipside, the Crimson Hawks made 44 percent of their field goals (28-of-63) and hit 23-of-29 (79 percent) from the charity stripe. Indiana (Pa.) completely controlled the glass, outrebounding Bowie State 55-28.

Ashley Stoner posted a double-double (18 points and 10 rebounds) to lead the IUP and Arika Ullman contributed 10 points for the streaking Crimson Hawks.

Bowie State’s Lady Bulldogs return home to enjoy quality time with family for Christmas before stepping back on the court – Thursday, January 5th, hosting the Lady Broncos of Fayetteville State University at 5:30 pm in BSU’s A.C. Jordan Arena.

Southampton, (VA) Academy Girl Football Player Sits Out

BY KATE ARCHER/CONTRIBUTING WRITER

kate.archer@tidewaternews.com

COURTLAND—The first girl to play football for Southampton Academy sat out during Thursday night’s junior varsity game.

That’s because opponent Northeast Academy threatened to forfeit if starting eighth-grader Mina Johnson played.

“The Northeast Eagles said they wouldn’t come to the game and would forfeit because I am a girl,” said the 5-foot-2, 170-pound defensive player, who sacked Rocky Mount’s quarterback four times during a 30-24 win on Sept. 22.

Mina chose to sit out.

“During conditioning, I often refer to Mina as an example to the team of how to hustle and work hard on the field,” Coach Brian Parker said. “She really does deserve to play.”

The coach and the headmaster for Northeast Academy in Lasker, N.C., did not return phone calls to The Tidewater News.

SA Athletic Director Dale Marks said Word of God Christian Academy is also considering not playing on Thursday, Oct. 27, if Mina plays. The academy’s coach and principal did not return calls.

Both teams belong to the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association. According to the league website, participation by boys in girls’ sports and vice-versa is prohibited.

Mina’s mother, who says her daughter has always been athletic, isn’t happy about the matter.

“There is nothing in the rule books for junior varsity football in North Carolina or Virginia that says a girl can’t play,” said Mona Johnson. “No one is breaking any rules by allowing her to play.”

“I absolutely hate this for Mina and for the team,” she continued. “They are all just kids playing a game and having fun doing it. It’s terribly unfair to them all.”

Parker earlier in the week told the team about Northeast’s stand.

“Everybody was upset,” Mina said. “They told us to ‘let this be a spark’ toward winning the game.”

It was.

The Raiders defeated the Eagles 60-0 during Thursday’s home contest.

An honor-roll student and daughter of Franklin surgeon Gregory Johnson, Mina’s interest in football was sparked by her 15-year-old brother, Greg, a sophomore lineman and guard for the Raiders’ varsity squad.

“One day on the school bus, Greg started teasing me that I could be a linebacker,” Mina said. “I didn’t even know what that was, so I looked it up on the Internet.”

She tried out for SA’s junior varsity team and made it.

“I was so excited,” Mina said. “I knew absolutely nothing about football before this year and am learning so much as I go along.”

Mina also likes that’s she’s making school history.

“This is something you can’t take away, ever, and it’s me doing it,” said Mina, who plays nose tackle, left guard and linebacker. “My first game, I took down a 6-foot quarterback.”

Greg is very proud of his sister.

“Every time she makes a hit or a good play, my friends and I all cheer for her,” he said. “She’s definitely got me beat on the speed thing.”

On Thursday, Mina’s teammates wore pink socks and armbands to recognize her and National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“The team thought it would be a nice gesture,” Parker said.

Mina will continue to practice and aspires to play varsity ball. Aside from the bruises, a sore knee and a twisted ankle she said, “getting up when you fall down is the hardest part. You have to brush it off and get right back in the game.”

Divas 'D' for Devastating!

-by Nate Lewis US Sports Network
After 3 weeks of football (which by comparison has to be the same at 6 weeks of the men's game) If your D.C. Divas are the championship squad that they look to be; then we will continue to see the 'shut down', 'lock down' performances of the Defense.

While the offense is averaging 326 yards per game and more importantly leading the WFA in first downs (41) the so far always fresh defense has allowed 8.7 points per game while sporting bona fide defensive stars in Tiffany Matthews (LB) and Rookie Nicole Fisk (DB). 'Tiff' by the way is 2nd in tackles for loss with 11 which will create a lot of down time for the defense with 3 and outs.
LB Tiffany Matthews has been a major headache for opposing offenses

Now there are still things that the Diva 'D' need to work on. There seem to be soft spots in the zone from a passing perspective that teams have had some success with. The Divas have been able to hide those deficiencies with pressure on opposing Quarterbacks thus far. But with tough matchups against good passing squads coming up, Diva Nation is hoping that that issue is addressed during this bye week.
Also the Divas are leading the league in penalties (31) and even though the Offense shares in this burden, you don't want to give away first downs to high scoring teams like New York and Boston down the stretch.

Look, in football nobody's glass is 100% full but the Divas particularly on the defensive side of the ball, certainly have more than half with more water out there.

Tune in Friday 04/21 at 9:15am for Diva Time, The D.C. Divas Football Show. We will be talking to Divas coaches players and special guests BJ from Womens Football Talk. go to www.ussportsentertainment.com or click on the big player above to tune in. We will be taking your chat questions as well.
