PROJECT ANGEL TREE 2021 RECAP and 7 Day Devotional Introduction with Todd White

Last month, World Changers Church International continued it’s annual Christmas tradition of reaching out to the community. Not only did we bring back Project Angel Tree, but we also held a Christmas Fun Event for the children of WCCI and the surrounding area. WCCI members were encouraged to Bless a Child for Christmas by visiting the virtual Angel Tree and choosing a featured child to purchase Christmas gifts for. Children’s Ministry and Teen’s Ministry staff selected children and teens in need to ensure this Christmas would be a merry one for them. In place of the traditional Christmas tree positioned in the World Dome lobby, the Creflo Dollar Global Missions website hosted the children’s names and wish lists. Members and friends of the ministry logged on, chose a child and viewed their wishlist, then purchased the presents! The gifts were sent directly to the WCCI College Park campus, and all of the children picked up their gifts from the church. (Continued below.....)

Encounter Jesus and walk in freedom through righteousness as you join us on this 7-Day Warriors Arise devotional series with Todd!

(....Continued....)According to Minister Ken Terry, Director of WCCI Ministry Affairs and Outreach, “We organized this for the purpose of being a blessing to the families and children. During the Christmas season, people give. It’s just that season, but we go deeper. It’s about Jesus. It’s about exemplifying the love of God and showing others that we care. It’s about helping those that might not be as blessed, but we can be a blessing to them. That’s what the Christmas season is all about. The ‘Christmas season’ is something that was created commercially, but it’s always been about Jesus, and Jesus was always about giving.”

Pastor Ken went on to say, “We have this event annually, and annually we look forward to seeing the look on people’s faces and the joy that’s in their eyes. We look forward to seeing kids being kids, the little ones and the big ones. This event brings my heart back to the place, the basis of all Christians, which is giving. Trying to make something better for someone else, showing and exposing the goodness of God so people can see that God is a good God. Hopefully this event has been a blessing to other people, as well!”

Immediately before the gifts were distributed to the selected children, their families, as well as families from the WCCI and surrounding community, made new holiday memories at our Christmas Fun Event. Darien Tilmon was our on-site surprise Santa this year. He has been coming out every year since 2014 and said that he absolutely loves it. “Bringing joy to everybody and putting a smile on their face helps me to do it at my house!”

WCCI volunteers ensured attendees had plenty of activities from which to choose. There was air hockey, foosball, and skee ball. Those with skills could hoop it up with the basketball arcade game. It began to look a lot like Christmas when kids of all ages showed off their creativity by decorating gingerbread houses with frosting, sprinkles, and candies. There was even a cookie decorating station! No one could deny the magical feeling of Christmas with the festive holiday décor, a plethora of ugly Christmas sweaters, balloon art, and Santa’s holiday bubbles in the air. There was even a Christmas train outside!

Jorry and Messiah Taylor were first-time Christmas Event attendees, but not new to WCCI. They loved celebrating the holiday and experiencing the spirit of Jesus at the event. “Please come out and volunteer!” she said, “Pastors Creflo and Taffi Dollar, I am so thankful that the Lord brought you into our lives because you have made such a difference by teaching the Word of God for us to apply in our daily lives.” Toko Gage and her husband, new WCCI members, attended the event for the very first time. She said, “This was a very nice precursor to the holiday experience.” Their daughter and granddaughter were in town visiting, so they brought them to this event; it was a hit with their household! Donald Lemon, a pre-teen attendee, wished everyone a Merry Christmas. He was glad to gather because COVID-19 prevented the event from happening last year.

WCCI extends a heartfelt thank you to every member, partner, and volunteer for being the angels of Project Angel  and helping us to bless children for Christmas this year. It is always a blessing to impact a child’s life during the holiday season. Proverbs 22:6, ESV, says, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Because of your hearts of service, we make a considerable impact by showing love to young people so that they can replicate it in their own lives and become a blessing to others. When they are old, they’ll still have the giving hearts of service we’ve invested in them. We are a village; we are a family; we are World Changers!

Creating Confident Coaches

We believe that the best way to grow the lacrosse is by empowering lacrosse coaches with the knowledge that will make them successful. Lacrosse is growing so fast that the number of coaches with lacrosse experience is overshadowed by the number of teams to coach. Many places rely on parent volunteers who may not have any experience with lacrosse. We create lacrosse coaching videos that all coaches can watch for free on YouTube and Facebook. Also, many of our videos are paired with a PDF Book this course....

Concealed Carry Featuring: LASR and WEE-1 Tactical Focus on Youth Shooting – SHOT Show 2022

by Matthew Maruster

Youth shooting sports don't get much publicity. So, I want to mention two companies here at SHOT Show working to support training children and young adults to be safe and proficient.

LASR

LASR (Laser Activated Shot Reporter) —

If you're familiar with our content, you've heard how much we love LASR (Laser Activated Shot Reporter). LASR is a company whose software pairs with a laser training gun like a SIRT or a laser cartridge. The software records shots and appropriate data to help you practice off the range. The LASR X software is incredibly useful and includes many features others do not. That is why we pair with the company for our monthly Shooter Ready Challenge.

Click HERE to learn more about LASR software capabilities.

 LASR

LASR is working to help bring awareness to the Scholastic Shooting Sports Pistol Program. This program helps develop youth shooting programs and is a conduit to the U.S. Olympic Shooting Team. LASR is assisting by providing its software to regional organizations to facilitate the development of training programs and more effective practice.

The team at LASR wants to hear from you if you are involved in youth shooting sports in any capacity.

WEE-1 Tactical —

JR-15

The second company is called Wee-1 Tactical. This company produces a very neat product specifically for teaching children how to shoot rifles. More specifically, the AR-15. The company's stated goal is:

Our vision is to develop a line of shooting platforms that will safely help adults introduce children to the shooting sports.

The product is called the JR-15. It is an AR-15 chambered in .22LR, but with a twist. Their rifle is 20% smaller than a traditional AR-15. So instead of teaching your child to shoot a full-size AR-15 chambered in .22LR, they have one sized appropriately for their size and strength.

wee-1 tactical

The gun operates and has the same controls as a regular AR-15, except for the patented safety selector switch. The child can't move the selector to ‘fire' without manipulating a selector on the other side. I think this is a fantastic way to teach a child how to get involved in shooting sports in a safe manner.

The gun's MSRP is $399 and comes with a 1-round magazine for training early on. There will also be 5 and 10 round magazines available. The gun doesn't ship with any sighting system, but it has a standard Picatinny rail with M-LOK on top, so you can mount any sighting system you want your child to learn. The JR-15 only weighs around 2 pounds, and the overall length is 30 7/8 inches.

Okay, that's it for yesterday. We have a lot more exciting content we will be publishing over the next few days, but I have to get back to the show floor. Consider following our Facebook and Instagram social media pages because we post videos and photos as we find exciting things throughout the day.

  • Author Mizanur Rahman

It’s easy to get confused when it comes to health and nutrition. Even qualified experts often seem to hold opposing opinions, which can make it difficult to figure out what you should actually be doing to optimize your health.

Yet, despite all the disagreements, a number of wellness tips are well supported by research.

Here are 5 health and nutrition tips that are based on scientific evidence. (Continued below....)

Glutathione deficiency is a common feature that complicates infections. 1. Limit sugary drinks

Sugary drinks like sodas, fruit juices, and sweetened teas are the primary source of added sugar in the American diet (1Trusted Source).

Unfortunately, findings from several studies point to sugar-sweetened beverages increasing risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes, even in people who are not carrying excess body fat

Sugar-sweetened beverages are also uniquely harmful for children, as they can contribute not only to obesity in children but also to conditions that usually do not develop until adulthood, like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

Healthier alternatives include:

water

unsweetened teas

sparkling water

coffee

  1. Eat nuts and seeds

Some people avoid nuts because they are high in fat. However, nuts and seeds are incredibly nutritious. They are packed with protein, fiber, and a variety of vitamins and minerals.

Nuts may help you lose weight and reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

Additionally, one large observational study noted that a low intake of nuts and seeds was potentially linked to an increased risk of death from heart disease, stroke, or type 2 diabetes.

  1. Avoid ultra-processed foods

Ultra-processed foods are foods containing ingredients that are significantly modified from their original form. They often contain additives like added sugar, highly refined oil, salt, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, colors, and flavors as well.

Examples include:

snack cakes

fast food

frozen meals

canned foods

chips

Ultra-processed foods are highly palatable, meaning they are easily overeaten, and activate reward-related regions in the brain, which can lead to excess calorie consumption and weight gain. Studies show that diets high in ultra-processed food can contribute to obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic conditions.

In addition to low quality ingredients like inflammatory fats, added sugar, and refined grains, they’re usually low in fiber, protein, and micronutrients. Thus, they provide mostly empty calories.

  1. Don’t fear coffee

Despite some controversy over it, coffee is loaded with health benefits.

It’s rich in antioxidants, and some studies have linked coffee intake to longevity and a reduced risk of type 2 diabetes, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases, and numerous other illnesses

The most beneficial intake amount appears to be 3–4 cups per day, although pregnant people should limit or avoid it completely because it has been linked to low birth weight.

However, it’s best to consume coffee and any caffeine-based items in moderation. Excessive caffeine intake may lead to health issues like insomnia and heart palpitations. To enjoy coffee in a safe and healthy way, keep your intake to less than 4 cups per day and avoid high-calorie, high-sugar additives like sweetened creamer.

  1. Eat fatty fish

Fish is a great source of high-quality protein and healthy fat. This is particularly true of fatty fish, such as salmon, which is loaded with anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids and various other nutrients.

Studies show that people who eat fish regularly have a lower risk for several conditions, including heart disease, dementia, and inflammatory bowel disease.

Some people avoid nuts because they are high in fat. However, nuts and seeds are incredibly nutritious. They are packed with protein, fiber, and a variety of vitamins and minerals. https://cba-it.com/index.html

The Sinner’s Need Of Christ. And The Rock Almighty New Year, Renewed Faith

  • Author Smithsfalls Adventist

Welcome to Chapter 1: The Sinner’s Need of Christ

In Short:

Why does sinner need help?

Why only Christ could provide that remedy?

Mankind was originally:

endowed with noble abilities

with a well-balanced mind

perfect in their being

in harmony with God

with pure thoughts and holy aims.

Humanity was made captive by Satan (Continued below.....)

The battle of our souls continues warriors! While there seems to be the specter of the evil one and his doing, we know the Kingdom of God wins in the end.

(....Continued......) After they sinned, our first parents could no longer find joy in holiness. Furthermore, they sought to hide from the presence of God. Such is still the condition of the unrenewed heart. We are not in harmony with God, and find no joy in communion with Him. The sinners could not be happy in God’s presence. They would shrink from the companionship of holy beings. There thoughts, interests and motives, would be alien to those that actuate the sinless dwellers there. Heaven would be to them a place of torture.

It is no arbitrary dictate on the part of God that excludes the wicked from heaven. They are shut out by their own unfitness for its companionship. The glory of God would be to them a consuming fire. They would welcome destruction, that they might be hidden from the face of Him who died to redeem them. Moreover, human race would have remained so forever had not God specially interposed. Satan would point to all this evil he caused such as:

state of misery and degradation

darkness, accusations, deceptions and lies

alienation and damnation

lack of satisfaction and crashed by the weight of gilt

no future but death

as the result of God’s work in creating man.

The Sinner’s Need of Christ

It is impossible for us, of ourselves, to escape from the pit of sin in which we are sunken. Our hearts are evil, and we cannot change them.

Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3

In other words, unless he or she receives a new heart, desires, purposes and motives, all leading to a new life, they cannot see the kingdom of God. There must be a power working from within, a new life from above, before men can be changed from sin to holiness. That power is Christ.

Those who have experienced the love of Christ cannot be idlers in the Master’s vineyard. They will see opportunities for helping others in their steps to Christ. Partaking of Christ’s love, they will labor for the souls of others. Let every soul copy the Pattern, and become missionaries in the highest sense, winning souls to Jesus.

May we all Repent, Confess, Grow up into Christ, and Rejoice in the Lord.

THE BLESSING OF FAMILY and 10 Keys To Maximizing Time

THE BLESSING OF FAMILY

by Creflo Dollar

God wants the best for us and wants to bless us in every area of our lives. One of the ways He does this is by surrounding us with people who love and care for us. We’ve been created to be in relationship with one another, and loving families are one of the ways God tells us how He feels about us. These relationships can greatly strengthen and encourage us when we put Him in the center of our family circle.

From God’s perspective, a family isn’t just a group of people haphazardly thrown together. He has a specific reason for choosing certain individuals as family members. This doesn’t mean that all family members will be perfect; we’re all human and we each have our own flaws. However, His presence makes a family more than just the sum of each individual person. “For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them” (Matthew 18:20, NLT).

God expresses His love through the family unit. He can bless the parents through the children, and the children through the parents. He can, and will, do amazing things if we just let Him do His work. “The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace” (Numbers 6:24-26).

The world doesn’t know God, and therefore has no idea what healthy family relationships look like. Families formed according to worldly standards can get caught up in strife and torn apart by negativity and bad influences. By contrast, the godly family has its origins in heaven. “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named” (Ephesians 3:14, 15). Families who put Jesus first position themselves to receive abundant blessings; they stand out like a bright light in a dark room.

Being part of the family of God sets us apart from the world. It gives us access to His supernatural love, which is the most powerful force in the universe. As His children, we must be prepared to live in a spiritually dark environment that doesn’t recognize us. “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him” (1 John 3:1, NKJV). In spite of that, we still have the ability—and the responsibility—to share that love with others.

One of the characteristics of membership in God’s family is that everyone is united in love. We don’t have to be perfect, just willing to let God work through us to reach others. How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!... It is as if the dew of Hermon  were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore” (Psalm 133:1, 3, NIV). This is something we desperately need in a divided world.

To bless is to empower to succeed. In the Old Testament, Joseph succeeded and prospered greatly because God blessed him. Joseph flourished because God was with him; it’s the same way with families today. Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed” (Proverbs 16:3, TPT). We succeed and prosper, both on an individual level and as a family, when we welcome God’s presence.
