Bowel Movements and Holistic Breast Health
By: Ron Saucier
Breast Cancer has become a major concern of today's women. That concern is brought about by the fact that most of us know or know of someone who has contracted this infamous disease. It is a major offender to women's health but there's a lot that can be done to reduce the risk of contracting this disease.

Fibrocystic Breast Disease is one of risk factors for breast cancer. It is, however, not as predominant as some of the more prominent breast cancer risk factors like early periods, family history, and late pregnancy. It does, however, bring about an increased risk and is one of the reasons why women undergo mammograms since the lumps of Fibrocystic Breast Disease are not easily distinguished from those of Breast Cancer.

Women who consume a low fiber diet and who suffer from frequent constipation are prime candidates for breast disease ( Breast Cancer or Fibrocystic Breast Disease ).

In a recent study, scientists revealed some startling facts. There was a significant association between abnormal breast cell structure and the frequency of bowel movements. A woman who had less than three bowel movements a week was in significant danger of contracting Fibrocystic Breast Disease. A woman who had daily bowel movements was in significantly less danger of the disease. This is undoubtedly due to the absorption of toxins from the stagnant fecal matter.

The best way to eliminate this situation is to keep things moving in your digestive tract. And the best way to do that is to consume high fiver organic foods or take fiber supplements.. Some of the high fiber foods are raw organic fruits (especially apples) and vegetables. Women who are vegetarians emit two to three times more estrogen's than women who are non vegetarians. Also, non vegetarian women have a 50% higher standard level of free estrogen which was reabsorbed from her intestinal tract. This difference is undoubtedly the result of the omnivorous woman's eating habits resulting in her consumption of less fiber than the vegetarian woman.

A higher intake of fiber, through diet or supplements, can result in more favorable intestinal flora. If you are concerned about Breast Cancer or Fibrocystic Breast Disease, taking a fiber supplement, consuming high fiber raw fruits and vegetables, or taking a probiotic or fiber supplement to enhance bowel function is highly recommended.

So it seems as if consuming high fiber and probiotics can be the key to keeping your bowels moving on a regular basis.. And that translates into a natural form of breast health. And to make things even better, a healthy digestive tract prevents a host of other diseases like Colon Cancer and the suppression of a well functioning immune system.

Breast Cancer presents a serious threat to women's health but, as you well know, there are numerous other threats like Heart Disease, Lupus, Fibromyalgia and numerous others. Some are life threatening and others make your quality of life extremely poor. If you're looking for a natural approach to women's health issues without those pesky pharmaceutical side effects, go to BeastSportsNutrition.com

The officers were placed on administrative leave with pay while Arkansas State Police investigated the shooting. On Tuesday, March 19, Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ellington said the two men would not face prosecution. He did say, however, that it remained an “open investigation” until the state crime lab released all evidence, including an autopsy and toxicology report. On Friday, the Jonesboro Police Department released video of the shooting in addition to 911 calls made immediately afterwards. Donate to PoliceActivity: https://www.patreon.com/PoliceActivity

Coming Together

Ephesians 4:13

If you know how to listen to the voice of God, you can hear Him calling throughout the Body of Christ today. He is calling for unity. He is calling us to lay down our disagreements and come together in preparation for Jesus' return.
Just the thought of that scares some believers. "How can I unify with someone from another denomination?" they say. "I'm not going to give up my doctrines and agree with theirs just for unity's sake!"
What they don't realize is this: scriptural unity isn't based on doctrine.
Winds of doctrine, according to Ephesians 4:14, are childish. Winds of doctrine don't unify. They divide and blow people in every direction. The Word doesn't say anything about us coming into the unity of our doctrines. It says we'll come into the unity of the faith.
In the past, we've failed to understand that and tried to demand doctrinal unity from each other anyway.
"If you don't agree with me on the issue of tongues," we've said, "or on the timing of the Rapture...or on the proper depth for baptismal waters, I won't accept you as a brother in the Lord. I'll break fellowship with you."
But that's not God's way of doing things. He doesn't have a long list of doctrinal demands for us to meet. His requirements are simple. First John 3:23 tells us what they are: to believe on the Name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another.
Once you and I come to a place where we keep those requirements and quit worrying about the rest, we'll be able to forget our denominational squabbles and come together in the unity of faith. We'll grow so strong together that the winds of doctrine won't be able to drive us apart.
When that happens, the devil's going to panic because the unity of the faith of God's people is a staggering thing. It's the most unlimited, powerful thing on earth.
Right now all over the world, the Spirit is calling the Church of the living God to unite. Hear Him and obey, and you can be a part of one of the most magnificent moves of God this world has ever seen.

Joel Osteen Ministries Featuring: Victoria Osteen - Widen Your Lens of Perspective

This is what God spoke through the prophet Isaiah: “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” (Isaiah 43:18-19). [Video and more below] God is asking us, “Do you recognize the new thing I’m doing in your life?” He is saying, “Don’t wait to have faith when the situation takes care of itself because I’m doing some new things right now. Look for it! Watch and see what I will do. It is a new thing!” This is message #754, "Widen Your Lens of Perspective", by Victoria Osteen. You’re Going Up

Post by Joel Osteen

Did you know that what God has in your future can't be accomplished on your own? There are places He's going to take you that you can't get to by yourself. There will be obstacles that look too big, dreams that seem impossible. You're going to need assistance for where you're going. If it was only up to you, you'd get stuck. The good news is that God has put something on you that gives you an advantage, something that opens doors that you can't open, something that makes you stand out in the crowd. It's called favor. Favor will cause good breaks to come to you that you don't deserve. You weren't next in line but you got the promotion. On paper it didn't make sense, but the loan went through. That wasn't a coincidence—that's the favor of God.
The people in Noah's day were living wildly, partying, worshipping idols. God was so upset that He was about to destroy the earth through a great flood. He could have wiped everyone out and started over, but the Scripture says, "Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord" (Genesis 6:8). Why did he find favor and not all the people around him? The next verse says, "He tried always to conduct his affairs according to God's will." Noah could have just compromised like everyone else, but he made the choice to walk in obedience. When you honor God, when you keep Him first place, you will find favor in the eyes of Lord. There is a blessing on your life that will push you up when others are going down.
God told Noah to build an ark, a 450-foot long boat. Noah wasn't an ark builder. No one had heard of such a thing. It seemed impossible. But God will never ask you to do something and not give you the favor to do it. You have the favor. The question is, do you have the faith, or are you talking yourself out of it? "I don't have the resources or the education, and I don't know the right people." Remember: one touch of God's favor will do more than we can do on our own in our whole lifetime. Just one good break, one phone call, meeting one right person, will catapult you to a new level.
You've been faithful, honoring God. Get ready for favor. Get ready for an explosive blessing. God is about to do something unusual, something that you've never seen, promotion that you didn't work for, good breaks that you didn't deserve. You can't explain it or take credit for it. It's the favor of God.

How to Force More Turnovers as a Defensive Back

Magazineline.com - Great Gift Ideas for $20 or less
Turnovers have the chance to win or lose a game. Every weekend, I hear coaches from all ranks discuss this concept in their press conferences. They talk about how a certain turnover here and there or the total differential impacted the final result of the game. It’s tough to say one or two plays can decide a game, but the influence turnovers have on momentum put them in that type of place. Throughout this piece, I’ll give young defensive backs an idea of how they can make these game-changing plays.

Importance of Turnovers

After a game, former NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck said, “I thought the offense did ok at the start. But the biggest thing is the turnovers, and not protecting the football, whether it’s in the pocket or the interception…it’s tough to win when the defense is scoring off your offense.” One of a football coach’s biggest pet peeves for the offensive unit is turning the ball over. No matter where the ball is turned over, it kills any momentum for an offense. If it’s turned over in the red zone, then points are basically taken off the board. Meanwhile, if it’s given away in your own territory, then points are handed over to the opponent. Essentially, there is nothing good that comes away from turnovers for the offense. However, with this, we’ve seen more and more defensive coaches stress their players to force these turnovers at all costs, whether it be an interception or a forced fumble!

Interceptions

The most common way defensive backs will create turnovers is through interceptions, or INT’s. These not only help in winning that elusive turnover battle, but they also have the ability to get in a quarterback’s head. If the QB throws an INT when targeting a certain receiver, he might be hesitant when the situation presents itself later on knowing the defensive back is looming. An INT can occur anywhere on the field. Throughout the next few sections, I’ll provide drills in forcing the turnover on different routes. Along with this, defensive backs need to work on their pure catching skills. It isn’t their primary responsibility, although it is increasingly necessary to capitalize on your opportunities because you never know when the next one will come. To add on to this, remember that the play doesn’t end when an interception occurs. Rather, try to make something more happen. If you are the interceptor, then begin to look up-field for blocks and get some yardage back. Meanwhile, if you’re just another defensive back on the field, start setting up the blocks and create a lane.

Jump Ball Drill

If you’re going up against some big or athletic receivers, then the quarterback is likely going to trust their ability and toss up a pass for them to go get. This jump ball drill is designed to not only defend the pass, but also possibly nab it out of the air. Start with a QB at midfield with a receiver covered by a defensive back on one side. For this drill, I recommend playing from about the 10 to 15 yard line since jump balls are often tossed in the red zone. Then, have the QB receive the snap and take a one-step drop before lobbing it into the corner. It is the defensive back’s reasonability to backpedal, maintain leverage and then leap to grab the ball at the high point. The key throughout this is to keep the passes high enough where the defensive back has to jump. At the same time, make sure the receivers are making a realistic effort to do the same, while it’s the defensive back’s job to hold position and get there first.

Defending the Deep Ball

Every team loves to try a few deep passes in an attempt to catch the defense sleeping or take advantage of a speedster on the outside. Likewise, the cornerback might not always have safety help in case he gets beat. This puts the corner in an interesting position as he must play off a little to avoid getting beat early, along with staying mindful of the potential short cross. Defending the deep ball is all about body control, which this drill will emphasize. The defensive back will line up approximately five yards off the line of scrimmage. Then, upon snap of the football, the defensive back will backpedal five yards. At this time, he should be reading the eyes of the quarterback. If they stay on that receiver, prepare to turn, drive your feet into the ground and sprint deep at which point you’ll nab the ball at its highest point. While sprinting deep, try to maintain an idea of where the ball is out. Occasionally, the ball will be underthrown, which will force you to quickly halt movement and make a play on the ball. In the end, this drill should teach you the basics of body control!
If you do opt to play bump ’n’ run coverage, I’ve included a link to a course from CoachTube. It is taught by college football coach Grant Cain and goes through a number of different defensive back drills, with the bump ‘n’ run one coming into play with defending the deep ball.

Tipped Pass

In the majority of games, there will be a few tipped passes. These aren’t always the easiest to intercept, but they are still opportunities nonetheless. The core trait to learn here is concentration. Even though the trajectory of the ball might change slightly, try your best to maintain focus on the ball.
The tipped pass drill starts with a defensive back on one specific yard line on the sideline, a coach in the middle of the field on that same yard line, and a tipper in-between the two. The defensive back will start running toward the coach, who will throw a pass. The tipper must get a slight hand to the ball to change the movement slightly. As a side note, try to avoid having the tipper completely bat the ball up or something of that sort. Those situations won’t arise nearly as often in an actual game as a minor deflection would. At the point of the tip, the defensive back should adjust and complete the interception before running it past the coach to complete the drill.

Rip at Ball to Create Fumble

Although interceptions are the more common avenue for defensive backs to record turnovers, forcing fumbles is another possibility. The tip I usually have for this is to urge defensive backs to secure the tackle first. Make sure that you’re confident you can bring the ball carrier down. Then, while they’re going down, get a hand in there and try to rip the ball out. There are many ways for players to practice this, but a lot of it comes from game experience. Based on what I’ve always seen and learned, this is the best course of action. Forcing a fumble as a defensive back shouldn’t be your primary goal. Chances are unless the situation is perfect, it will be a tough task to complete and could even lead to the ball carrier breaking the tackle. So, with this said, remember to wrap up first because you never know if one of your teammates may get in there to help finish the tackle and lead to a forced fumble.

Momentum Shifted!

Throughout the entirety of this article, a common theme I’ve attempted to portray is this idea of momentum. Football is truly a game of changing momentum. One minute, it may seem like your team is in control and before you know it, the opposition seems to have the upper hand. One of the main shifters of this is turnovers. They can disrupt rhythm, confidence and affect a complete game. The key is to capitalize on your opportunities and don’t let them slip away!

The sport, mainstreamed with the success of the U. S. Women's National Team earlier in the 1990s, became a national phenomenon with the victory. Mia Hamm, who played in every celebrated win, was a driving force behind women's soccer and the national team. An iconic figure in sports, Hamm is widely considered the best female soccer player in history. Hamm played 17 years for the U.S., and her 158 goals in international competition are a record for females and males. As a 15-year-old, Hamm became the youngest player ever on the national team. At 19 in 1991, she became the youngest American woman to win a World Cup when the U.S. captured the inaugural women's tournament in China. With the two more World Cup wins and Olympic gold medals in 1996 and 2004, Hamm and the U.S. team helped soccer earn a spot on America's sports radar. Born March 17, 1972 in Selma, Alabama U.S.A. HItchFit - How To Be A Picky Eater

I know what you’re thinking: “Isn’t being a picky eater something we’ve been taught to avoid?” Yes! However, when you’re trying to live a happy, healthy lifestyle in today’s world, being picky is your only option. Here are some steps to ensuring you are being choosy in your eating decisions
  1. Think Simple: Avoid highly-processed options, and stick to the simple one-ingredient foods whenever possible. An apple contains only one ingredient – the apple! When choosing salmon for a dinner option, ensure it’s free of dyes or chemicals, and resist the urge to slather butter and salt all over it. Stick to lemon juice and rosemary if you need added flavor. The shorter your ingredient list, the healthier your option is. Bonus: if you can actually pronounce all the ingredients – it’s even better!
  2. Keep It In Moderation: Whether you have made the perfect healthy choice, or needed to settle for something less than ideal, consume it in moderation. Stick to the correct portion size, and no more. Is splurge day upon you? Resist the urge to wolf everything containing sugar down. Enjoy some of your favorite irresistible items, but make sure it’s well within the serving size. It is so much harder to return to healthy eating if you haven’t employed moderation.
  3. Try Something New: Dragonfruit is an impressive –looking fruit, and one you should try! Don’t stick with the usual hum-drum choices day after day. Switch it up and grab a new healthy item to keep your resolve even stronger. Variety is akin to a shoulder to rest on during the 30th
  4. Stick To Regular Colors: Now, you know that box of macaroni and cheese is just not a normal color! Stay away from this, and other, type of highly-processed food. The beautifully-deep purple of the eggplant, and bright sunny yellow of a lemon tell you that either one would be a fabulous eating choice. (Although, that lemon could be better squeezed into a glass of iced tea or water, some would say.)
  5. Plan Ahead: The classic fast food places just aren’t going to carry the grass-fed, hormone-free meat you’re in search of. Avoid places you know aren’t going to stock your healthy choices, or go in knowing the healthiest choice available, signifying your decision to have a “free day.” Do your research and know what an eating establishment has to offer from your very limited menu options. (Want other options for rewarding your fitness milestones? Check out this article.) For on-the-go snacks, avoid the vending machine all together, and prepare your snacks in advance. Bag up almonds in mini zippered bags, or grab an apple to throw in your gym bag or purse for an emergency snack.
When it comes to your health, you can’t afford to be anything less than picky. Start studying your options with a critical eye, and stick to your guns on healthy opinions. In what ways are you a picky eater? Share your comments with us below!

Police Activity Featuring: Dashcam Video of West Virginia State Troopers Beating Teen

** (Disclaimer: This video content [below] is intended for educational and informational purposes only) ** The Berkeley County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has released the dashcam video showing West Virginia State Police troopers kicking and punching a handcuffed teenage boy on the ground and kneeling on his shoulder during a November arrest in Berkeley County last year. Authorities had withheld the video pending the outcome of the investigation. This week, one of two troopers fired in January was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury. The video is from the dashcam of a Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department cruiser. There is no audio. The video shows two officers yanking the teen through the open driver's side window to the ground, where he lands face first and is immediately placed in handcuffs. Footage shows one of the officers then kicks and stomps him several times and puts his knee on the teen's shoulder blade, pressing down with his full weight. The officer then punches the teen at least eight times. A minute later, the teen is pulled up to his feet but remains limp as he is thrown further to the side of the road.

Gov. Jim Justice has said the incident "cast a dark shadow" on law enforcement. Authorities originally denied media requests for the video, citing the investigation. Troopers Michael Kennedy and Derek Walker and a sheriff's deputy were fired in January. Another deputy who was fired recently got his job back. Kennedy, 29, of Morgantown, was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury on one count of deprivation of rights under color of law — language used to describe crimes committed by police officers while on duty. The indictment accuses Kennedy of using excessive force resulting in bodily injury. The teen was treated at a hospital and released. State police have said the teen was involved in a crash with a sheriff's cruiser before a pursuit ensued, his vehicle crashing again before he was apprehended. Delligatti said she couldn't release details on whether the youth was charged, saying juvenile prosecutions are sealed. The American Civil Liberties Union's West Virginia chapter has said it would look into whether the teenager's civil liberties were violated. "The brutality witnessed in this video is shocking but all too familiar," said Loree Stark, the West Virginia chapter's legal director, in a statement. "Law enforcement has a constitutional responsibility to avoid excessive force, and it is crucial for videos like this to come to light so that offending parties will be held accountable." Walker also faces an excessive force lawsuit filed last year by a Charles Town attorney who says the trooper dragged his wife and slammed her to the ground in 2016 while she was talking to construction workers about a sidewalk project. State police responded to the scene when a worker allegedly backed his truck into the driver's door of her SUV in a parking lot. Donate to PoliceActivity: https://www.patreon.com/PoliceActivity
