Tactical Workouts Presents Police Activity Featuring: Bodycam Footage of Female Officer Accidentally Shot in Back By Fellow Cop

** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) ** The Lafayette Police Department released the body cam video from the officer who accidentally shot a fellow officer in the back while serving a warrant earlier this week. The review board determined that an incident was accidental, not an act of negligence. They released their findings along with 10 minutes of body cam footage on Friday morning. The body cam footage shows Officer Aaron Wright shooting Officer Lane Butler in the back. It happened when an aggressive dog broke loose from a cage and charged at the officers while they were serving an arrest warrant. “The shooting review board determined it was an accidental shooting in a very dynamic and stressful situation," Lafayette police said. Butler is recovering at the hospital. Wright is on paid administrative leave. “We can’t prepare for every event. Sometimes we are placed in situations outside of our control that we haven’t planned for,” Lafayette Police Chief Patrick Flannelly said. Flannelly said Wrightwill not be terminated or suspended. More Common CCW Permit Myths
By: Lee Michaels

Gun owners who choose to carry a concealed weapon encounter many public misconceptions regarding firearms. Here are some of the myths about carrying concealed weapon (CCW) permit holders.

  • People who carry concealed weapons do not realize their guns are unsafe.
  • Considering the difficulties and paperwork involved in obtaining permission to carry a concealed firearm, this assumption is ludicrous. Guns are as likely to discharge by themselves as your car starting its own engine. Firearms are precision-crafted machines, and someone who has gone to the trouble to obtain a concealed carry permit takes excellent care of their weapons.

  • People who carry concealed weapons just cause more problems when dealing with armed criminals.
  • This statement flies directly in the face of hundreds of situations where gun owners with a concealed weapon have stopped or prevented deadly crimes. Criminals rely on the 2.5 officer per thousand citizen ratio when committing their crimes; responsible gun owners with permits to carry can help leverage those odds when in a critical situation.

  • People who carry concealed weapons are more prone to accidental discharges.
  • Responsible gun owners believe that "accidental" discharges do not exist—only deliberate or negligent ones. Considering the hours of safety training and level of firearms proficiency required to even obtain a concealed carry permit, the likelihood of a discharge due to a permit owner’s negligence is, well, negligible.

  • People who carry concealed weapons think they can take risks with their personal safety.
  • This is another way of implying that all gun owners are vigilantes at heart. That their handgun makes them impervious to the elements and all lesser, unarmed humans. Basic research into the legal ramifications of a shooting, even a clear-cut case, should prove the fallacious nature of this statement. Gun owners, particularly ones with carry permits, are alert and careful about where they choose to go and what they do. The weapon they carry isn’t the first thing they reach for; due to the life-altering consequences of firing a gun, it is their last choice.

  • People who carry concealed weapons are more likely to get into fights than unarmed citizens.
  • Again, consider the very real ramifications of a gun owner getting into a fight and brandishing, or even firing, their weapon. Permit owners know all too well the personal responsibility they must take when they go out in public. Road rage, aggressive confrontations, or angry threats are dangerous situations that carrying gun owners will go out of their way to avoid. The rare few who violate these rules quickly find themselves without a legal permit or a firearm.

“Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all” (Romans 4:16).
We must strike a balance between grace and faith. To see God’s glory, we must have equal measures of both.

Abundant Rain for Your Dry Places

    Post by Joel Osteen

It's easy to lose our passion for life. At one time we loved to laugh, looked forward to the day, and were believing for our dreams, but when things didn't worked out like we thought, over time we came into a dry place and life lost its flavor. You smile, but there's no joy behind it. You act normal in front of others, but by yourself you're discouraged and wonder what's wrong. Sometimes we're dry because we're tired, the challenges have taken longer than we thought. We can be dry because somebody did us wrong, and instead of letting it go, we've become bitter. Some people are dry because they think they'll never overcome their challenges.
But being dry doesn't just sour our attitude, steal our joy and affect relationships; it's deeper than that. The Scripture says that when you're in "dry places" (Matthew 12:43), you've stepped into the enemy's territory. That's where he lives. When you feel the blahs, have no passion and thoughts tell you, "Nothing good is in your future. There's no reason to get your hopes up," recognize that's the enemy trying to get you into his territory. When you're positive, hopeful and full of praise, you're in God's territory. The enemy can't touch you. That's why he works overtime in our thought life. His goal is to get us down and discouraged. He knows that when we're dry, we're giving him access to control and manipulate.
This is when you have to take control of your thought life. That's where the battle is taking place. You may feel dry. You've done what you can, but it seems like the discouragement won't go away. You've fought hard, but you're weary. God sees what you're going through, and He's about to make things happen that you couldn't make happen. David says, "You sent an abundant rain, O God, to refresh the weary land" (Psalm 68:9). You're going to see an abundance of strength, of joy, of health, of resources. You're coming out of that dry place.
Get your hopes up. Start expecting the abundant rain. That's the way our God is. He could have just said, "I'm going to send a shower to refresh the weary land." That would be good, but look at the heart of God. He said in effect, "I'm going to make the enemy pay for making you dry. I'm going to send an abundant rain to make up for the trouble—more than enough, overflow, exceedingly above and beyond." Get ready for abundance; get ready for overflow. God is about to exceed your expectations. You're coming out of the dry place into more than enough.

PUTTING  : Making 3-5 footers 75% of the time , taking no more than 2 putts  from 20-35 feet 75% of the time
Hi my name is Gary Casey full time PGA Golf Professional specialising in the tuition side of the business. I still occasionally enter a few tournaments here and there but my true passion is and always has been  helping other golfers improve their game. Here’s a brief history of my career so far:

My first ever job started in April 1986 as a young enthusiastic 16 year old at my home club Dullatur Golf Club which is in Cumbernauld just north of Glasgow. Under the expert guidance of Professional Duncan Sinclair I learned the day to day tasks of traditional Pro Shop.

After two great years I was looking to broaden my horizons and was very lucky in September 1988 to find myself my first position as a fulltime PGA Golf Coach at Lavender Park Golf Centre in Ascot, Berks. Here I spent the majority of my time giving lessons on the range to golfers of all levels. The first 6 months were a bit tricky due to the slight language difference, but after three and a half years we got there in the end.

April 1992 saw me venture overseas for the next two years as a Pro at one of the finest golf clubs in Holland the Golf Club Wouwse Plantage under one of the Netherlands most respected PGA Professionals Phil Helsby. Thanks to Phil it was at the Wouwse Plantage in October 1993 I passed my all important final exams to become a fully qualified PGA Golf Professional.
Now as a Qualified PGA Professional I decided to head back to England to Thorpe Wood Golf Course as Head Teaching Professional in April 1992 from Dennis Fitton who was retiring after a very busy twenty years.

As I said at the beginning coaching golf is my true passion and after an amazing thirty one years in the game I feel very lucky to have made a career out of that passion and never take it for granted. Book this course............

The Truth About Cancer Featuring: Breaking News: Johns Hopkins Syphilis Verdict

Last week, a federal judge determined that The Johns Hopkins University, Rockefeller Foundation, and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co will face a $1 billion indictment over their involvement in a government experiment that infected hundreds with syphilis against their will or without their knowledge. Get the full story here: http://bit.ly/guatemala-experiment-ar... This is a big win for victims and their families, who have been seeking justice since the study first came to light in 2010. Though the Guatemalan syphilis study was funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) and led by a senior surgeon from the United States Public Health Service (both encompassed by the Department of Health and Human Services), no compensation has been offered by the government. Led by chief PHS physician John Cutler and funded by the NIH (both of which are departments of HHS), the Guatemala Syphilis Experiment was undoubtedly a U.S. endeavor. And the lack of ethics was not lost on those involved. While these companies clearly played a role in Guatemala, it is readily apparent that the U.S. government is ultimately responsible, despite the absence of any legal liability. Don't Look at the Storm

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
    Matthew 14:30-31

If there's any way the devil can get your eyes away from the Word, he'll do it. He'll cause trouble. He'll make the circumstances around you pitch and roll like a rowboat in a hurricane. He'll do anything he can to get you to concentrate on the realm of the physical senses and the situation around you instead of on the promise of God—because he knows that if he doesn't, you'll take that promise and beat his brains out with it.
That's what he did to Peter. When Peter first jumped out of the boat that day in response to Jesus' word, what happened? He walked right across that water without a problem. His whole being was fastened on that word Jesus had spoken to him, "Come!"
But when he took his eyes off that word, he started looking at the storm. He started looking at the impossible thing he was doing. After all, he was a fisherman. All his training and experience told him when the waves were that high, you were going under. He started to focus on what he knew in the natural instead of what Jesus said. When he did that, his faith slipped out of gear and he started to sink.
Don't let that happen to you. Once you get a revelation from the Word of God, hang on to it. Don't focus on anything else.
The devil will do everything he can to get you to turn loose of it. He'll stir up things around you. He'll try to get you into fear. He'll push every button he can from the past to get you back into your old way of thinking.
But don't let go. Keep your eyes on the Word of God until it's more real inside you than anything else. If you do, you'll be able to walk your way across the water just fine.

    7 Seconds or Less Offense

    Coaches,
Here is my newest eBook in the Basketball Secrets Unleashed Series: “7 seconds or less” offensive playbook. This offensive playbook consists of the secondary break, quick hitters, and half-court sets that have been developed by the Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks. It has a tremendous wealth of knowledge on how they would play the Run and Gun style that has been bought to Phoenix and New York.
You have to get your players to buy into this up-tempo style. Everyone loves to play up-tempo, but it takes getting your players into tremendous shape. This style of offense will be something that your players can buy into really quickly. It will be great for you, your players, and fans. Administrators want an up-tempo game, because they can sell it better to the fans.
This offensive system comes to New York after helping take the Phoenix Suns to four straight 50-plus win seasons and three Pacific Division Championships. This playbook is the high-octane offensive game that made the Suns one of the most dynamic and crowd-pleasing teams in recent NBA history.
After the Olympics, the Coach of Duke incorporated some of the NBA coach’s innovative offensive techniques to allow Duke to spread the floor and maximize the talent of its wing players, most notably Gerald Henderson and Kyle Singler. You will be able to see this Duke Offense during the next several weeks of March Madness.
SI.com’s Jack McCallum writes that Mike D’Antoni is “the man credited with reinvigorating fast-break basketball in a league gone stale.”
This playbook has 104 plays in it and is 168 pages long. I hope that you enjoy this eBook and understand that this is an extremely up-tempo game and a style of play that could take your team to the next level. I hope that you enjoy.
