Inulin Fiber Inulin is a soluble plant fiber that is present in high amounts in the chicory plant, along with an estimated 36,000 other plants. Due to its chemical composition, when inulin is mixed with liquid it forms a creamy gel that is ideal for naturally relieving constipation. When gelled, inulin has a structure similar to lipids (fats) that also helps lubricate the digestive system and lessen risk for things like hemorrhoids. Inulin has been found to reduce the risk of colon cancer and improve management of inflammatory bowel diseases. It significantly decreases the number of potentially harmful yeast, parasites and bacterial species living in the body that trigger inflammation. When combined with water, inulin bulks up and forms a gel-like substance that expands in the digestive tract, which helps decrease appetite and cravings, potentially helping with weight loss. As it passes through the digestive system unabsorbed by digestive enzymes, inulin takes with it toxins, waste, fat and cholesterol particles. Research shows soluble fibers help lower blood cholesterol, systolic and diastolic blood pressure and reduce the risk for hypertension, heart disease and metabolic syndrome (Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of conditions — increased blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat around the waist, and abnormal cholesterol or triglyceride levels — that occur together, increasing your risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes).
Rice Bran Powder
Rice bran is used for treating diabetes, high blood pressure, high
cholesterol, alcoholism, obesity and AIDS. It is good for preventing
stomach and colon cancer, for preventing cardiovascular disease and for
strengthening the immune system. It increases energy and improves
athletic performance. It is useful for improving liver function and
is an antioxidant. Rice bran can be directly applied to the skin
to heal eczema. Rice bran may help lower cholesterol because the oil
it contains has substances that might decrease cholesterol absorption and
increase cholesterol elimination. One of the substances in rice bran might
decrease calcium absorption, which may be helpful in reducing the formation of
certain types of kidney stones.
Garcina Cambogia
An incredibly efficient fat burning ingredient, Garcinia Cambogia has received
much media attention for its effect on weight loss and food consumption
control. This pure ingredient is 100% natural. It is sometimes referred to
as Tamarind and it grows primarily in the lush green mountains of India,
Southeast Asia and Central Africa. Its primary ingredient is the dietary super
supplement known as HCA, which is proven, in scientific studies, to
stop hunger in its tracks. The tamarind fruit has traditionally been
used in soups as appetizers before meals, because of the smaller portion sizes
due to the limited amount of food. Its appetite suppression qualities helped
make villagers feel more full (satiety) and the fruit would increase the
workers’ fat burning skills (thermogenesis) providing an increase in energy and
productivity.
Maqui Berry
The Maqui berry, a great antioxidant food, may be a modern-day
fountain of youth. This small purple berry, grown only in southern
Chile, is considered one of the strongest antioxidants and is prized for its
longevity-enhancing and anti-aging properties. Maqui berries give up to
300% more Anthocyanins and nearly 150% more Polyphenols (the powerful
antioxidants that give red wine its super immune-boosting power), than wine or
any other fruit or vegetable known to man. By giving the body the antioxidants
it needs, it frees the body of damaging free radicals that can actually
cause premature aging and disease. Protecting our bodies from the
toxins and chemicals that bombard it on a daily basis – which may
weaken both our skin cells and internal organs and systems – the Maqui
berry can actually help to rejuvenate cells, promote healthier aging
and even ward off disease. Another important benefit of this super
antioxidant food is its ability to control inflammation throughout the
body. Maqui berries help to reduce inflammatory responses, which helps to
decrease pain and increase flexibility and mobility, even among people with
severe arthritis and fibromyalgia. Those who take Maqui berry on a
regular basis also tend to notice considerable weight loss as
their bodies become healthier and are able to dispose of toxins that
may have been suppressing weight loss in the past.
Raspberry Ketones
One of the 200 molecules in raspberries that give it its flavour and smell
profile. A proven fat dissolver and mentioned in many dietary
regiments and even the more popular diets out there always include raspberries
at some point in the regiment. And, in the area of health benefits, it’s not
lacking there in the least, as Raspberry ketones have been proven to
reduce the fatty buildups in and around the liver, which we know to be
one of the main contributors to early liver disease, as well as promoting
healthy liver function by causing the remaining fat cells to actually produce
Adiponectin, which is a protein sorely lacking in most who suffer from obesity
and even Type 2 diabetes.
Chromium
Chromium is used for improving blood sugar control in people
with prediabetes, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and high
blood sugar due to taking steroids and HIV treatments. It is also used
for depression, Turner's syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome
(PCOS), lowering "bad" cholesterol, raising
"good" cholesterol in people taking heart medications called beta
blockers, metabolic syndrome, heart attack, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder,
and binge eating disorder. Some people try chromium for body conditioning
including weight loss, increasing muscle, and decreasing body fat.
Chromium is also used to improve athletic performance, to increase energy, and
to prevent age-related mental decline.

Keeping the doors of your small business opens can depend a lot on your ability to market to potential clients. With a plethora of options open to you, it can be overwhelming and difficult to decide which marketing tools to use.
Email marketing has been a mainstay strategy throughout the technological era. In 1978, Gary Thuerk of Digital Equipment Corp (DEC) revolutionized the industry when he sent four hundred emails to potential clients. Although Encyclopedia Britannica refers to this incident as the origin of spam, the fact is that this pioneer sold $13 million of his product through that effort.
Prior to this, companies were limited to direct mail for advertising. Using the postal service could cost a small fortune and your materials might end up in the trash as junk mail. On top of that, a two percent response to a direct mailing was considered excellent! Since its inception, email marketing has trumped direct mail in many ways.
While social media may appear to be the center of many small business marketing strategies, an effective email blast is a far more dependable way to increase your customer base. It allows you to create a personal voice for your existing customer base, the people who have already expressed an interest in purchasing from you.
Facebook is one of the most popular websites for social media marketing. However, as with many social media sites, their algorithms are always changing. Today, if you don’t spend money advertising with Facebook, the chances of your fans actually seeing your posts are minimal.
In 2012, Michael Bernstein, assistant professor of Computer Science at Stanford University, determined in his postdoctoral research that thirty-five percent of your Facebook friends actually see your posts. More recently, that figure has dropped to six percent, and pages with many fans can be as low as two percent. In fact, managing director of Social@Ogilvy, Marshall Manson, boldly predicts, “Organic reach for the content brands publish in Facebook is destined to hit zero. It’s only a matter of time.”
With email marketing, you hold the reigns. You are the one to decide how often your list hears from you. Also, you can track precisely how many clients are actually opening your email. A success email campaign can take time to build, but that’s true with any good marketing plan.
Collecting email addresses
When it comes to email lists, the old adage size doesn’t matter just isn’t true. It could be argued that with email lists size is the only thing that matters! After all, if Shakespeare were reincarnated as an entrepreneur, his beautifully poetic words might be rendered irrelevant if his email list was miniscule.
As an email marketer, your job is to continue to find new and creative ways to expand your list. Fortunately, the options are limitless. Here are just a few ways you can encourage a visitor to subscribe to your newsletter:
Offer to send a free mini-eBook.
Create a contest with giveaways each month for new subscribers.
Offer special discounts available only through your newsletters.
Invite friends to subscribe through social media.
In addition, there are a few strategies you can use to increase your list, which are quick, easy, and take advantage of tools you are most likely currently employing:
Create a pop-up window on your website, offering to sign them up for your newsletter.
Include an opt-in link with your email signature (for new emails and replies).
Offer incentives to employees for adding new subscribers.
If you have a brick-and-mortar business, I recommend you use all the online methods discussed earlier to engage new subscribers; however, there are also a few traditional ideas you can try:
Put sign-up sheets by every cash register.
Allow customers to subscribe in-store via a tablet or laptop. You can make it part of every transaction.
Offer a monthly prize for those customers who drop their business cards in a box. Make sure to get their permission to add their names to your email list.
Always ask for business cards at networking meetings or trade shows.
Host events with door prizes for everyone who subscribes.
Tips for keeping your readership
Billions of emails are sent whizzing into inboxes every day. With that kind of activity, you need to get noticed without becoming a nuisance. The last thing you want is to find your well-crafted emails sitting in your customer’s trash or junk folder.
Just as you’d spend time creating the perfect title for a book you were writing, the same goes for the subject line of your email. Strive to make it catchy but not too long. Hint at the content, which will make the email irresistible to open.
Another tip is to find the best time to launch your emails. There is really no magic time, as it really depends upon your reader’s habits and behaviors, the industry you’re in, as well as when your competitor tends to send their email. Ideally, you want to time it so that your email doesn’t get lost in your subscribers’ inboxes. According to Experian, emails sent on the weekend have the highest open rate and ones sent between 8:00pm to 4:00am have the best response rates overall.
Finally, if you really want to appeal to your subscribers, avoid faking familiarity with them. Addressing the email directly to them can do more harm than good, especially if their name is misspelled. Instead, focus on directing emails to the correct demographic and interest of the client. Those elements are more likely to trigger a positive reaction and produce loyalty.
Content strategies
When you have a good-sized subscriber list, you will need to find compelling content that encourages people to not only open your email, but to read it as well. There are three main strategies you can employ: articles, offers, and surveys.
Keep every article fresh and relevant. Don’t simply copy content you find on the internet. Copied content can be riddled with spelling and grammatical errors, making you seem unprofessional to readers. It also won’t carry your unique voice. In addition, avoid reusing content from previous email blasts. It’s important to provide unique articles written with your readers in mind.
When you offer your subscribers a deal, try to avoid sounding like you’re advertising your products or services to them. Instead, give friendly, helpful advice and throw in a discount at the end aimed at their needs.
Surveys can be helpful in determining the interest of your client base, so that you will know how to better serve them. It’s always a good idea to get continual feedback. Most people are willing to share their opinions (good and bad) with you if asked, and a survey helps to keep your business in their minds.
When looking into which promotional avenues to pursue, consider producing a quality email marketing campaign. It’s relatively free, easy to produce and maintain, and more importantly, it’s effective.
Siam, Ayutthaya Kingdom 1774. The Burmese invasion brought destruction and the consequent fall of the Siamese capital. Thousands of prisoners were brought to Burma as slaves for work and entertainment. Among the large number of kick boxers within the prisoners there was a man named Nai Khanomtom. Son of the chief of his village, he saw his family get slaughtered by the burmese when he was just a little boy and grew up in his life in a hardened way, always with the shadow of fear from the Burmese troops. Nai Khanomtom, like any other Thai prisoner, was deeply rooted into Thai culture and values. Proud of his own country and people, he would never give up easily nor accept to be defeated. That year the Burmese king wanted to organize a 7 days long religious festival with many forms of entertainment and for the occasion he wanted to compare the Burmese boxing with the Muay Boran. Nai Khanomtom was selected to fight against the Burmese boxing champion. On the ring placed in from of the king throne Nai Khanomthom begun the Wai Kru to pay respect to his teachers and ancestors dancing around his opponent. While the dance is a traditional ritual for the Siamese also to respect the spectators, the Burmese were surprised and perplexed by the dance and believed that was some sort of thai black magic. However, as soon as they start the fight, Nai Khanomtom charged his opponent with every weapon Muay Boran can offer. They call it "the martial art of the 8 limbs" because it uses hands, feet, knees and elbows. The Burmese champion was knocked out pretty quickly but the referee declared the fight invalid as the Burmese were too distracted by the way kru dance. In this moment of perplexion the king sent other 9 men to fight against Nai Khanomtom who defeated all of them, one by one without taking any time break. The last opponent was a famous Burmese kick boxing teacher and Nai Khanomtom managed to defeat him with his kicks. After that, no one dared to fight against Nai Khanomtom. The king was very impressed by the skills of Thai people and he remarked: "Every part of the Thai is blessed with venom. Even with his bare hands, he can fell nine or ten opponents. But his Lord was incompetent and lost the country to the enemy. If he had been any good, there was no way the City of Ayutthaya would ever have fallen." After this event, freedom was granted to Nai Khanomtom and his fellow thai prisoners. Since then, every year on March 17 in Thailand is celebrated the National Muay Boran Day to honor Nai Khanomtom and all Muay Boran ancient teachers whom developed this martial art to the well known Muay Thai of today. http://www.martialartsthailand.com/event/1st-world-muay-boran-championship-ayutthaya/

CO2 Extinguisher Basics
By: Matthew Kerridge
When most people picture a fire extinguisher, the image that is called to mind is that of a CO2 extinguisher. With their large, metals cylinders of bright red and hard horns, these fire extinguishers have been installed as an emergency measure in homes and businesses for generations. Carbon dioxide extinguishers can be differentiated from similar extinguishers by the lack of any sort of pressure gauge at the top of the tank. While there are other red fire extinguishers that use dry chemicals instead of compressed carbon dioxide gas, you can easily spot a CO2 extinguisher by the fact that there will be no gauge at the top of the devices tank. CO2 fire extinguishers have a limited range of only a few feet and are typically only used to put out small fires or clear the way for safe evacuation of the area. Each CO2 extinguisher must be recharged every five years. The Walter Kindle Company first invented the carbon dioxide extinguisher in 1924 at the request of the Bell Telephone Company. Bell had been having difficulty finding a dry chemical extinguisher that could effectively extinguish the electrical fires that sometimes broke out on early telephone switchboards. The CO2 proved particularly effective at controlling electrical fires, and their popularity quickly grew throughout the industrial sector. Another factor influence the widespread adoption of the carbon dioxide extinguisher was the fact that it was considerably safer to use than the earlier chemical models. The dry chemicals that were used in the other fire extinguishers were known to cause toxic reactions in people in the immediate vicinity of their use that ranged from mild to deadly. In fact, the relatively harmless effects of the CO2 extinguisher are a big factor in the continued popularity of the device in the modern world.
CO2 extinguishers operate by releasing highly pressurized carbon dioxide onto that comes out a velocity that is high enough to remove all of the oxygen out of the area of a fire and extinguish the source of combustion. The gas that is released from CO2 extinguishers is also very cold and rapidly lowers the temperature of a fire. While CO2 extinguishers are very common in many buildings, they are not effective at extinguishing all fires. However, there are effective at controlling many fires long enough for residents to evacuate a building or for the fire department to arrive on the scene. CO2 extinguishers are actually not the preferred fire extinguishers of choice for many types of fires. CO2 extinguishers are particularly ineffective in battling Class A fires. Class A fires constitute all fires that are fuelled by ordinary, combustible material. Because CO2 fires do not push enough oxygen away from the fire for the necessary amount of time to extinguish a Class A fire, these fires can easily continue to smoulder and reignite. Instead, CO2 extinguishers are designed to put out exclusively electrical and liquid fuelled fires. In case of an emergency, these extinguishers can also be used to save a human being who has caught on fire. CO2 extinguishers are regularly seen on television and film as a set prop. Because CO2 extinguishers are fairly safe to use, production companies often use them for extinguishing a stunt man when he is set on fire for the scene. However, actual fire rescue workers rarely use CO2 extinguishers for real life rescues in less absolutely necessary.
Matthew Kerridge is an expert in home fire safety. If you want more information about types of co2 extinguishers or are looking for a reputable co2 extinguisher company please visit http://www.adt.co.uk
