In this episode of the Global Health News, Ty and Charlene discuss the
health benefits of black pepper and black pepper essential oil.
Black pepper health benefits include being antibacterial and antifungal,
but there are actually many more wonderful health benefits of black
pepper, which you can learn all about in today's episode.
Next Ty and Charlene talk about a medical clinic that will charge you
for declining vaccines. That means it will actually cost you more for
refusing vaccines than to take them.
In The Truth About Vaccines, they told you that a lot of vaccines are
substrates that are made from oils like peanut oil and fish oil, which
may be the cause of these now common allergies. The long term effects of
vaccines also may include heavy metal damage to the brain and lower IQ.

The last topic is fluoride in water and fluoride dangers. Many
industrialized nations have fluoride in their water supply, which for
pregnant women can be doing significant damage to their babies' brains.
There’s also a 12 minute interview with Dr. Edward Group about fluoride
side effects which answers the question, "Is fluoride healthy?"

Tactical Nutrition for an NYC Police Officer and Bodybuilding for Beginners
Bodybuilding for Beginners
Every day, all over the world,
someone picks up a dumbbell for the first time and begins a quest to be
the next Arnold Schwarzenegger. They imagine their bodies swelling up
beyond belief and turning a once wiry frame into a molded piece of
muscular artwork. Unfortunately, they quickly find out that the prospect
is a bit harder than they first had thought. Achieving excellence in
bodybuilding requires not only dedication, but intense physical
exercise…A LOT of intense physical exercise. Because of this, we thought
we would take some time to explain some basic principles that can help
beginning bodybuilders get the RIGHT start on their new endeavor.
First of all, you should try to avoid your initial inclinations and simply start light. Most folks that start working out to build serious muscle often end up biting off more than they can chew, or in this case, lifting heavier weights than they should. It is extremely easy to go from working out to lying in the hospital with a torn muscle if you push yourself too hard. Starting off light, with weights you can handle, will allow you to make consistent and SAFE progress throughout your bodybuilding regimen.
One the next things that beginning bodybuilders do is try to build INDIVIDUAL muscles. They pick up a dumbbell and start doing arm curls until someone tells them to stop. Unfortunately, no one ever does, so more often than that, you see a nice set of guns on a puny body…come on, you know I’m right…working ONE muscle at a time is a mistake at this stage. Instead, you want to focus on COMPOUND movements, or ones that hit several large muscle groups at one time. The king of these is the squat. This exercise not only hits your entire lower body extremely effectively, it also works quite a few of the muscles in your upper body as well. No other single exercise can pack on as much quality muscle as the squat.
The next on your list of beginning bodybuilding moves is the bench press. This effective compound movement is not just for your chest, not by any means. Bench presses hit your chest, shoulders, triceps, forearms, and many of the stabilizing muscles in these areas as well. This workout can pack on muscle and make several key muscles much stronger to provide the strength needed as you further your bodybuilding endeavors.
Last on our list for beginning bodybuilding moves is the pull-up. Many folks HATE doing these, and there is a good reason…they can’t do them! Pulling off a set of 10 reps on the pull-up bar is not only impressive; it also has the ability to build some serious muscle. Cranking out rep after rep of pull-ups can do AMAZING things for your biceps, forearms, shoulders, and of course, your entire back. Once you get to the point of being able to do 25 or so, you can always add weight and continue to back on the beef. Think 25 sounds like a lot? Do pull-ups everyday and you WILL get there.
There you have it…a few basic for beginning bodybuilders that will serve your needs for years to come. Take is safe, take it slow, and follow these proven exercises to bodybuilding success.

Abundant Life to the Fullest

Not everything is what it seems; an extravagant or lascivious lifestyle we witness today could be totally swept away tomorrow. If we are to see things as they really are, we need godly wisdom to help us make the right choices. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you” (James 1:5, NIV). When we make our decisions based on God’s advice instead of what we see around us, we avoid making painful mistakes.
Life is precious, and it has been given to us as a gift. As free moral agents, we can choose for ourselves how to live it, but having a right to do something doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the right thing to do. Keeping ourselves pure from evil influences isn’t always easy, but it benefits us in the long run. “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word” (Psalm 119:9, NIV). Situations around us can change from good to bad in the blink of an eye, but relying on the Word of God keeps us safe.
Sometimes things that happen can make us feel discouraged, but there’s always something for which to be thankful and grateful. Even if maintaining a positive attitude generates criticism from others, there’s always a chance that our attitude can provide hope and encouragement for someone else. This is one way God can use us to reach people who may be hurting and needing help. “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing” (1 Thessalonians 5:11, NIV). Our speech is powerful, and it can affect others as well as ourselves for either good or bad.
Displaying godly behavior is impossible without first getting our minds right. Allowing the wrong thoughts to enter into our minds, and dwelling on those thoughts, causes us to think wrong. The apostle Paul advised the church at Philippi on which thoughts to reject and which ones to embrace, and we can benefit from that same advice. “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you” (Philippians 4:8, 9). Right-thinking is accompanied by peace of mind.
Conducting ourselves according to what we see others do may be fun for a while but, ultimately, it drains the joy out of life for us. God doesn’t want us to struggle; His will for us is exceedingly good. “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life” (John 10:10, NLT). We succeed when we trust God fully.

(Mb FINAL) Bowie State 65 - #8 Virginia State 55 (Full Story and Stats)
Bowie State Bulldogs Upset #8 Virginia State Trojans 65-55
ETTRICK, Va. – Bowie State men’s basketball picked up a huge CIAA divisional
win on Saturday afternoon, upsetting 8th ranked Virginia State 65-55. The win improves the Bulldogs to 3-1 in the Northern Division, 5-5 in the CIAA and 10-11 overall.
Sophomore
David Belle (Hyattsville, Md.) led Bowie State with 16 points while
sophomore Cameron Hayes (Upper Marlboro, Md.) and seniors Omari George
and
Dayshawn Wells (both of Baltimore, Md.) chipped in 10 points each in
the key CIAA North victory. Belle also pulled down a game-high eight
rebounds.
Neither
team could really get on track in the first 10 minutes of action, but
Bowie State’s Bulldogs did lead 20-18 heading into the under
eight-minute
media timeout.
Bowie State led the majority of the first half, but Virginia State took its first lead of the game (26-25) at the 4:06 mark after a William Vedder (Washington,
D.C) layup.
The
Trojans closed the first half with a mini 4-2 run to take a 30-27 lead
into halftime. Virginia State shot 42.4 percent (14-of-33) in the first
20 minutes
compared to 43.5 percent (10-of-23) for visiting Bowie State. The
Trojans also held huge first half advantage on the glass, out-rebounding
the Bulldogs 23-9. In fact, Virginia State pulled down 12 offensive
rebounds alone in the first half.
Bowie
State narrowed the deficit to 37-35 and a Belle triple shifted the
advantage over to the Bulldogs at 38-37 at the 15-minute mark of the
second half.
Following the media timeout, Belle knocked down a pair of free throws
and followed that with a layup to make the score 42-37 Bowie State,
forcing Virginia State’s Trojans to call a timeout.
Yohance Fleming (Bowie, Md.) scored his first points of the game on a little floater in the paint to continue the Bulldogs run.
VSU’s
Lual Daniel Rahama (Newport News, Va.) stopped the Bowie State run but
missed the free throw sending Bowie State into the under 12 media time
out
with a 44-39 lead.
Bowie
State’s lead grew to a game-high 10 points (49-39) after a massive
two-handed dunk by Hayes. The Bulldogs stifling defense made a major
difference
in the second of play.
Cyonte Melvin (Hampton, Va.) capped off a 6-0 Virginia State run to trim the Trojans deficit to 51-47 at the 6:37 mark. Melvin knocked down two free throws
to cut the Bowie State lead to 51-51 with 3:19 remaining in the highly contested contest.
Bowie State held a 54-49 lead at the final media timeout (3:39) and pushed lead to 58-51 following a Fleming dunk.
The Bulldogs had enough in the tank in the end for the 69-55 upset of the nationally ranked Trojans.
Virginia
State (17-2, 7-2 CIAA, 3-1 North) was led by Melvin and Richard
Granberry (Chester, Pa.) with 11 points apiece. Granberry was Virginia
State’s
leading rebounder with seven.
The Bowie State men’s basketball will be idle until returning to action on Saturday (February 3rd) at Elizabeth City State. Game time in ECSU’s
Vaughan Center is set for 4 p.m.

ETTRICK, Va. – Bowie State women’s basketball relinquished a 14-point
third quarter lead and fell 67-59 to nationally ranked Virginia State on Saturday afternoon in the VSU’s Multipurpose Center.

State (13-6, 6-4 CIAA, 2-2 North) was paced by graduate student Sade
Chatman (Minneapolis, Minn.) with 13 points and senior Kiara Colston

The Bulldogs led the Trojans 10-5 at the first media timeout (4:12) and held a 16-10 advantage after the first quarter.
Bowie
State knocked down 50 percent of their shots (13-of-26) in the first 20

The Trojans would not go away quietly closing the deficit to 54-51 by the 7:22 mark of the fourth quarter following a pair of free throws by Dionna Marcus
(Fort Stewart, Ga.). Virginia State battled back to take its first lead (55-54) since (3-0) at the 4:26 mark of the fourth quarter via an Alexis Smith (Lusby, Md.) layup.
Bulldogs
sophomore Kyaja Williams (Baltimore, Md.) made one of two free throws
to tie the game at 55-all but Virginia State’s Smith drilled a 3-pointer
on the next Trojans possession to shift the advantage back over to the
home team at 58-55.
Virginia
State led 61-55 but a Chatman free throw followed by a 3-pointer by
senior Ty-Nita Baker (Houston, Miss.) pulls the Bulldogs within two at 61-59
with 34.7 seconds remaining in regulation.
VSU’s
Keyanna Brown (Williamsburg, Va.) knocked down a pair of free throws

and Brown led the Trojans with 16 and 15 points respectively. Mia Fitts
(Richmond, Va.) added 13 points and Green recorded a double-double of
13 points
and 10 rebounds.
