Why are we obese?

- Leptin - hormone crucial in obesity. Leptin produced by fat cells and sends signals to hyprothalamus we are full and to stop eating. We have lots of fat and leptin, but problem is that leptin isn’t working like it should, for some reason the brain becomes resistant to leptin.
- Sugar - is the single worst part of the modern diet. Excess sugar changes hormones and biochemistry of body contributing to weight gain. Excess fructose causes insulin resistance and elevates levels causing leptin resistance.
