Breakfast tends to be that often-skipped meal as people are running out the door to work, or gathering up last-minute child homework assignments. But if you have ten minutes to spare in that morning routine – you’ve got a healthy breakfast!
Polenta
This satisfying recovery breakfast is perfect for those returning from a morning run, or a prep for the upcoming day. Much like oatmeal, you can add dried fruit or nuts if you choose as well. The best part? It’s gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly!
Smoothies


Smoothies are an incredibly quick way to blend a handful of amazingly healthy ingredients into a quick glass of delicious beverage. Add fruit, milk, yogurt, spinach or kale, and even oats to make a killer drink that’s quick to make and can even be taken with you as you run out the door.
Spinach and Scrambled Eggs
Whip up some scrambled eggs and include spinach to get an early start to your green intake. Eggs cook quickly and take very few ingredients, leaving you plenty of time to complete your morning tasks.

For an incredibly simple morning meal, chop up a grouping of your favorite fruits and toss them together in a bowl. This starts off your day with a crisp and refreshing food intake, giving you great nutrition and waking you up with flavor.

Your classic bowl of oatmeal is a great way to start off a heart-healthy day. While the stovetop definitely cooks in less than ten minutes, the microwave is even quicker. Generally reserved for a snack option, toast topped with peanut butter is a great breakfast option packed with energy-laden protein.
Whole-Grain Cold Cereal
Not the least bit a last resort, cold cereal is a quick and easy option for breakfast that includes those whole-grain necessities as well as a good dose of calcium in the milk.
