World’s Greatest Military Operators and Law Enforcement Professionals Reveal the Secret Bodyweight-Only Training System Used By Elite Tactical Athletes

RE: ðŸ’ªSpecial Report by Joseph Arangio, Tactical Strength and Conditioning Coach
Seven deputies from three counties shot and killed a 48-year-old wanted felon after a high-speed pursuit inside the evacuation zone of the Camp Fire in Northern California Thursday. Deputies began the pursuit after receiving calls of a suspicious person near a hardware store in Yankee Hill. Law enforcement inside the evacuation zone of the wildfire, which is the deadliest and most destructive in the state’s history, are on high alert for suspicious people and looters. “We’ve definitely been dealing with many other things, this is not something we wanted to be involved with,” said Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey, whose office is handling the investigation into the shooting. Authorities are not yet releasing the identity of the man killed, pending the notification of his next of kin. Ramsey didn’t give details about what the 48-year-old suspect was doing in the area, but he stressed he is not suspected of looting. The resident who alerted officers to the suspect's presence said he seemed to have been in the area for about three days. No deputies were injured in the incident, but a Sutter County Sheriff’s office K9 was killed when deputies opened fire on the suspect. The man’s pit bull, which was in his car before getting out and attacking the Sutter County K9, was also killed. Deputies from Shasta and Butte counties were involved in the shooting, as well as a Fish and Wildlife Warden. An officer from Sutter County, whose K9 was killed, was involved in the incident but did not open fire. Ramsey’s office is handling the investigation into the shooting. The man was wanted for parole violations and was a suspect in an area double homicide about two years prior, Ramsey said. “He (was) a very bad person,” Ramsey said. “He had a long record.” The suspect had been wanted by law enforcement for about eight months. It’s unclear how many rounds were fired, but Ramsey said the suspect was struck multiple times. The Alameda County Sheriff’s Department, which is in the area as part of the wildfire response, is assisting in the investigation with specialized crime scene technology that was being used to find victims of the fire. The pursuit began after deputies confronted the suspects at the Pines Yankee Hill Hardware store in Yankee Hill. Officials said the man placed a hand in his jacket during the encounter, making deputies concerned he was armed. During the man’s previous arrest, Ramsey said he was found with multiple weapons. This time, he was unarmed when shot. Officers backed away and continued to yell at the suspect, who then raced out of the hardware store’s parking lot — hitting a law enforcement vehicle on the way — and drove off down Highway 70. Law enforcement laid down a spike strip, which eventually stopped the car. He got out and yelled “you guys should have left me alone,” at the pursuing officers. He added “I’m not going back,” according to Ramsey. Officers then released the Sutter County K9 on the man, who then advanced on officers, causing them to open fire.

God thinks differently than we do, and He has no limitations. If we want to succeed in life, we must learn to think like Him and remove any limits we’ve imposed in our own minds.

Free Your Faith

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any.
Mark 11:25

Few people realize just how closely connected faith and forgiveness are. Jesus taught about that connection in His sermon on mountain-moving faith that's recorded in Mark 11:22-26.
He said, "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive" (verses 24-25).
Jesus backed those two sentences up together on purpose. He wanted us to know that releasing those who have wronged us is fundamental to receiving from God. He wanted to impress on our hearts the fact that we cannot have our prayers answered and hold grudges in our hearts at the same time.
Unforgiveness clogs the faith channel and keeps you powerless against the mountains in your life!
If you've been praying for something and you just can't seem to get an answer, check your heart for unforgiveness. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring any grudge that's hidden there to light. Unclog the channel of faith and you will soon see things you've been praying for come to pass.

Strength Coach- Agility, Foot Speed and Direction Change

Presented On US Sports Net By StrengthCoach.com!

Michael Boyle
Everyone wants to "break ankles". I get it. It's how to develop this ability to stop on a dime and change direction that is in question.
Agility and the concept of direction change is a topic that comes up over and over. There are always the people who put up videos like this
click me
and then tell us that this is a waste of time.
The truth is most of what you see is a waste of time. This guy might be better as Lord of the Dance than playing a sport. Unfortunately, people continue to paint with a broad brush and color every pre-programmed agility drill as a bad idea. This is a classic example of what Alwyn Cosgrove like to call Overreaction and Undereaction.
All pre-programmed agility is not a bad idea
At Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning we try make agility development part of our warm-up. We will use an agility ladder for 2-3 minutes to work on footwork and, to teach stabilization, landing and crossover skills. Pre-programmed agility is great coordination work for young athletes and great prep work for older athletes. The problem is when we spend time getting really good at useless stuff (see video above).
Let me be clear. In general we don't do much agility work.
Most agility work is, in my mind,  “just running around". I think coaches waste lots of time running from cone to cone and then trying to get athletes to do it faster. That, to me, is a waste of time.
I just think stuff like 5-10-5 etc is dumb. I can take 10 min and make anyone faster at it but I don't think they are more agile.
The big trend now is reactive agility and in my mind, that is what occurs...... Join StrengthCoach.com today to read this article and much more........
