The Battle-Ready Workout Plan: Day 2 and The Extended Driving Test - regaining Your Driving License

The Extended Driving Test - regaining Your Driving License

By: Russell Chaplin
The Extended Driving Test – Regaining Your Driving Licence

When you have passed your driving test after taking driving lessons in Nottingham and your driving licence is revoked for whatever reason you may be ordered by the courts to take the Extended driving test in order to regain it. Many people who lose their licence have never taken driving lessons, having been taught exclusively by friends and family or indeed may never have passed a driving test at all. This article gives advice on preparing for the extended driving test.
The Extended driving test is much more demanding than the normal L test, lasting 70 minutes instead of the usual 40 minutes and covering a more diverse route including high speed dual carriageways. You will need to train for this with one of the driving schools in Nottingham. Emphasis will be placed on the driver's ability to concentrate for the full duration of the test and attention will be paid to the overall attitude of the drive. Demonstration of one manoeuvre and the emergency stop will be included on the test. You must prove to the examiner that you are capable of driving safely with due consideration for other road users.

The streets of our country are no longer safe.
Criminals hide in plain sight, searching for the next easy mark.
And it’s not getting better.
Last year violent crime in the United States rose 4.1 percent.
Increasing your risk every time you step out your front door.
• American patriots must have a way to defend themselves.
• Americans patriots deserve to feel safe in their daily life.
• Americans patriots need to be able to fight back.

Which is why I’ve spent months re-designing the Strikepen Black™
Building on all of the customer feedback and tests from the first version.
We’ve upgraded our signature Strikepen to make it lighter, more powerful, and deadly.
And as a thank you to all of our local customers, I’m releasing the first shipment of this product FREE to a select group of American patriots.
That’s right.
You get the premier tactical pen on the market, completely free.
I’ve got a long list of self-defense experts, retailers, and shoppers who have been waiting for this release. But we’re sending the first batch FREE to our friends.
American patriots have the right to be able to protect themselves and their family.
But there’s only a limited number.

Concentrating for this length of time can be a difficult task especially if you have never had any formal driver training, the mind tends to wander during driving and this seems more the case with people who have never had driving lessons. When this is combined with an attitude where the candidate believes they are already a good driver and have been victimised by the police and courts it can be a real obstacle to improving your standard of driving.
If you have been taught by someone other than a qualified driving instructor you may have a lack of understanding of the rules of the road. This lack of knowledge, particularly of the meanings of signs and road markings can result in your breaking the law unwittingly and incurring points on your licence. A poorly maintained vehicle can lead to infringements such as driving with brake lights out or with worn tyres. Other areas you may fall foul of the law are insurance and licensing requirements. The vehicle must be insured for you to drive and you must hold a full driving licence if unaccompanied.
To prepare for the extended driving test you will definitely need lessons from an experienced professional. Don't be resistant towards what an instructor has to teach you. Ask questions on anything you feel you don't understand to get full benefit from your training. Remember an Instructor is there to help you, not to judge your previous driving habits so relax and enjoy the lessons.
Make sure that the car you intend to drive is roadworthy. Check all lights are working, check tyres have the minimum legal tread depth. Maintenance questions are included on the test so take an interest in the workings of your vehicle. If you can carry out your own maintenance checks it will save you money in the long run and make your driving more enjoyable. Remember that driving should be a pleasure for you and others. Drive courteously and remember it is not a competition, be nice to other drivers and chances are they will be nice to you.
The 'New Driver' act affects any new driver who gets acquires 6 or more penalty points within 2 years of passing the driving test. The license is automatically revoked by the DVLA and the driver is reverted back to a provisional license. Both the theory and practical tests must be passed again and the points gained will stay on the license and count towards any future 'Totting up'. About 14000 new drivers have their licences revoked under this act each year. Take care and make sure that you aren't one of them.

I assure you and most solemnly say to you, they [already] have their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your most private room, close the door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees [what is done] in secret will reward you. “And when you pray, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. So do not be like them [praying as they do]; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. ‘ Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. ‘Give us this day our daily bread. ‘And forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors [letting go of both the wrong and the resentment]. ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]’ James 5.16 (AMP) Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God--it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. John 16.24 (AMP) Until now you have not asked [the Father] for anything in My name; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy may be full and complete. James 4.2 (AMP) You are jealous and covet [what others have] and your lust goes unfulfilled; so you murder. You are envious and cannot obtain [the object of your envy]; so you fight and battle. You do not have because you do not ask [it of God].

Run to God, Not from Him

Adapted from the resource My Time with God Devotional - by Joyce Meyer
When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, they tried to hide from God, and they sewed some fig leaves together hoping to hide their nakedness (see Genesis 3:7).
I seem to be very impacted lately by remembering that we never have to run from God, we never need to hide, and we can be totally honest with Him about everything. In fact, instead of running away, He invites us to do the opposite and run to Him! He promises to never reject anyone who comes to Him, no matter their condition.
If you feel guilty about something or have failed miserably, run to God as fast as you can and get a hug from Him. He will forgive, restore, and set you right again. God is the only one who can help us in our times of discouragement, failure, and fear, so it is foolish to run away from the only help we have. Even if you are a little angry with God because of disappointments in your life, run to Him anyway. Tell Him how you feel and ask for His help.
Jesus is able to understand us because He was tempted, tested, and tried. He shared the feeling of our weaknesses and infirmities, and yet He never sinned (see Hebrews 4:15). Jesus knows exactly how you and I feel, and we have an open invitation to come into His presence anytime. We can come just as we are!
Prayer Starter: : Father, I am so grateful for Your love and acceptance. It is wonderful to know that You will never reject me. I need You! Help me to always run to You and never to run away. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

UDC Men’s Soccer Announces 2018 Schedule Featuring Four NCAA Tournament Teams, Reigning National Champion

Presented On US Sports Net By CoachTube Soccer!

Men's Soccer vs. Barton College, 9/13/17
Head Coach Matt Thompson enters his 7th season as head coach at UDC.
WASHINGTON, DC – The 2018 University of the District of Columbia men's soccer schedule was announced by head coach Matt Thompson on Aug. 15.

The Firebirds, coming off the school's first ever NCAA Tournament appearance last season where they advanced to the 2nd round, will take on four teams that advanced to last year's NCAA Tournament, including the reigning NCAA Division II champion, University of Charleston (WV).

"We have a very difficult schedule with many road trips," the seventh-year head coach said. "We have put together a schedule that will test this group of players and coaches, and I think that is great for where we are now as a program."

Master Your Sport
Right off the bat, UDC opens the season at a tournament in Millersville, PA on Aug. 30 and Sept. 1 against two strong regional opponents out of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), Goldey-Beacom College and Wilmington University.

Goldey-Beacom advanced to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament last season and was picked to finish 3rd in the CACC preseason coaches' poll. Wilmington, who the Firebirds have split four games with in as many years, was picked to finish 1st in the CACC preseason poll.

From there, UDC plays three more non-conference games: a neutral site contest vs. Barton College, a road game at Seton Hill in Greensburg, PA and the finally, its home opener on Sept. 12 vs. Thompson's alma mater, Slippery Rock University.

Thompson, who is being inducted into SRU's Athletic Hall of Fame in September, said he is excited to be involved in that game as The Rock will be coached by his good friend, Kevin Wilhelm.

The Firebirds will then open East Coast Conference play on Sept. 15 at home vs. Queens College where UDC will look to avenge last year's 2-1 loss in Flushing, NY.

"They beat us last season and they will be stronger this coming year," Thompson said. "That will provide a stern test to open up league play."

After the ECC opener, the Firebirds will play another non-conference game on the road vs. No. 16 preseason ranked West Chester University (PA).
The Golden Rams finished 14-3-2 overall and advanced to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament in the Atlantic Region last season.

Then UDC returns to ECC play with a tough slate of four conference opponents, beginning with a road game against its ECC nemesis, New York Institute of Technology. The Firebirds have yet to beat the Bears in Thompson's six-year reign.

"We've had some close games, and one double-overtime loss, but we cannot seem to get over the line against them," Thompson said. "Hopefully that changes this year."

Next are two home games vs. ECC foes Molloy and Bridgeport, followed by a much anticipated road challenge at No. 6 preseason ranked, LIU Post. The Firebirds fell victim to the powerhouse Pioneers three times last season – once in the regular season in overtime after surrendering a 3-1 second half lead, again in the ECC Finals, and once more in the NCAA Tournament 2nd Round.

Shortly after that trip, the Firebirds head out to Charleston, WV to take on the reigning NCAA Division II champion, Golden Eagles, followed by the longest road trip of the season to Rochester, NY to take on ECC foe, Roberts Wesleyan College.

"That will be a tough week, physically and mentally for our student-athletes," Thompson said. "They will need to be prepared well and in good physical condition to compete."

The Firebirds then take on ECC foes Daemen College (at home) and St. Thomas Aquinas College (away) before ultimately ending the season on the road at Mercy College on Oct. 27.

Before the regular season finale, UDC will host its Senior Day game on Oct. 23 vs. non-conference opponent, Lock Haven University.

The East Coast Conference Championship Tournament will begin on Oct. 31 with the semifinal round, and the finals will follow on Nov. 3. The sites of both rounds will be at the higher seed's site.

Thompson, who through six years is approaching 50 wins as UDC head coach, said the UDC men's soccer program has come a long way from when he started in 2012.

"We have come a long way in a short amount of time," he said. "From not having a conference when I first arrived, to making the playoffs and the NCAA Tournament this past season."

Thompson said the team and coaching staff is looking forward to the challenge this fall.

"I think the key word for us as we enter the season is consistency," he said. "We need to find the right balance on and off the field, and prepare the team and individuals for the grind, which is our season."

Minding Your Business-Online Shopping Requires Consideration

Presented On US Sports Net By Yahoo Small Business!

By: Alice Beckmann

The Internet is magic, which always wakes me to be conscious. Spotting celebrities with fantastic apparels, shoes, sunglasses or hairstyles, I always realize and begin to be aware of fashion. The most effective contribution to the fashion trend is made by stunning celebs and followed by people throughout the world.

Internet is functional. The fashion information transmitted by thousands of miles of cables brings life and vitality into our wardrobe. The well-known update their looks by shiny authentic lines; and the common also get sheen on stylish products by online shopping or replicas.

Online shopping is welcomed by its convenience. We do not need to walk in hot or rainy days for a purchase of limited edition of favorite brand nowadays. Clicking on the mouse, we get the latest designs. What’s more, stores online tend to provide people with cheaper prices nowadays.

It seems there is nothing reason for us to buy in traditional local stores today; however, most of us must have experienced attempting or failing to find authentic products. The purchase we got at last turned out to be completely different with what they promised. We got nothing except frustration and a waste of money at last. To protect us from buying those bad-quality products, some official websites have adopted policies to test whether an online site on them is faithful or not. Its trustful level ranges from red heart, yellow diamond, green diamond, pink diamond to silver diamond. Each compliment from customer will add one mark to its reputation and any dishonest supply will eliminate five marks. Like it or not, this policy assures benefits of customers while shopping online well.

Online shopping provides us with the latest vogue information. To be a smart shopper, you are not admitted to miss the time when a season goes forward the ending. Online stores need to put new line onto racks in next season or next year. Hot designs of this year may turn out to be "the beat generation". Retailers tend to send out more advertisements or sell products on the biggest discount. They are modish, yet the cheapest.

After knowing where and when to buy online, most of people are still perplexed by question of what to buy. Vogue information is updated in an incredible speed. Anything hitting the rack may become a dominative item in the next minute. What to buy in numerous modish designs? I truly believe not everything that is considered to be fashionable is proper for us. Everyone expresses his or her natural beauty in eyes or body language. A right purchase of style, color and size will seem natural on body. It does not need to be the most eye-catching, yet should be graceful. It may not make you seem like celebs walking on the red carpet, yet should be comfortable for everyday wearing.

Budget for your online shopping before. Even though the style having alluring you is the hottest in this season, it still requires you to consider for a few minutes. What will it give you besides transient brilliant rays? Will you become empty on hand? Will you wear it while another trend has been set in the next season?

Online shopping offers us with an opportunity to get the most stylish designs on reasonable prices when the merchandise purchases are directly from the manufacturers. To be wise in buying!

4 Plays to Defeat the Stack Defense

The stack defense is one of the most frustrating schemes to deal with, especially if you don't see it very often.
The defense can give you what seems like a different look on each play, leaving your offensive line waiting and reacting instead of firing off the ball.
Every defense has weak spots. This course will teach you how to find them.
Luther College Offensive Coordinator Payton Haynes uses game footage and diagrams to walk you through the four concepts he relies on to defeat the stack defense.
In this course, you'll learn how to...
- Outnumber the defense
Employ unbalanced formations to create extra space for your playmakers
- Punish aggressive defenders
Use motion and misdirection to use the defense's speed against them
- Beat good players with better adjustments
If you don't have a plan B, you don't have an offense. Good players will figure you out, so you'd better have adjustments ready.
- BONUS: Downloadable PDF playbook is included with all concepts drawn up.

WHAT ARE THE BEST AMINO ACIDS?

Presented On US Sports Net By BPI Sports!

Although there are over 80 amino acids, our bodies only use 20. Eleven of those aminos are non-essential, meaning your body makes them on its own. The remaining nine are known as the essential amino acids, which are not produced in the body and therefore must be acquired via supplementation. Arguably, the best amino acids out of the essential aminos are the branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs): leucine, isoleucine and valine. Of course, this is coming from a fitness perspective. Let’s take a closer look at each of the others to learn why.

HISTIDINE

Histidine is used to develop and maintain healthy tissues, particularly in the nervous system. Too much histidine is linked to anxiety and schizophrenia, while not enough can lead to rheumatoid arthritis and deafness. Generally, foods that are high in protein are a good source of histidine. Examples include meat, poultry, fish, eggs, beans, bananas, citrus fruits and dairy.

PHENYLALANINE

In order to produce dopamine, norepinephrine, epinephrine and melanin, your body must have phenylalanine. This amino acid can help prevent mood swings, lethargy, anxiety and generally feeling down. Good sources include beef, poultry, pork, fish, dairy, eggs and soy products like tofu.

THREONINE

Threonine is used in the formation of bones, cartilage, teeth, hair and nails, as well as the development of the liver, small intestine and skeletal muscles. It helps to strengthen the immune system and may help combat depression. To boost your threonine levels, eat more cottage cheese, eggs, sesame seeds, beans, lentils, corn, fish and poultry.

TRYPTOPHAN

Tryptophan is likely the only essential amino acid other than the BCAAs that you’ve heard of. Present in turkey, this sleep-inducing amino is important for the production of serotonin and vitamin B3. It can also be found in milk, chocolate, oats, dried dates, bananas, cottage cheese and peanuts.

METHIONINE

Protect your cells from free radicals and boost metabolism at the cellular level with methionine. Although excessive intake can be dangerous, this amino acid is used to treat diseases of the liver and known to minimize the spread of the flu. Find it in chicken, fish, milk, red meat, eggs, nuts, grains and beans.

LYSINE

Lysine promotes the growth of hair, nails, teeth and bones. It is also used in the production of collagen, the protein that contributes to skin elasticity. Foods that are high in lysine include poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, soybeans and nuts.

BRANCHED-CHAIN AMINO ACIDS (BCAAS)

No, the B in BCAAs does not stand for best. However, leucine, isoleucine and valine are the best amino acids when it comes to building muscle. Muscle tissue is made up of protein, and amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Leucine in particular has a direct role in stimulating the muscle-building process (anabolism). The BCAAs can also help improve performance, optimize recovery and contribute to weight loss.

THE BEST AMINO ACIDS SUPPLEMENT

Not sure which amino acid supplement is best for you? Read this article to learn the differences between our four, main products.
