Lady Bulldogs Volleyball Makes Clean Sweep of Washington Adventist Shock

TAKOMA PARK, Md. – Make it two in a row for the Bowie State University volleyball team, this time claiming a three-set victory over Washington Adventist University. The Lady Bulldogs swept the Shock 25-8, 25-17 and 25-20 in non-conference play.

Bowie State (3-15) was never really challenged in the match, except in the final set of the evening. The Lady Bulldogs were led by sophomore India Mason (New Orleans, La.) with a match-high nine kills on 19 attacks and she added one block assist. Junior Alexis Fisher (Chesapeake Beach, Md.) and freshman Valerie Taylor (Walkersville, Md.) contributed five kills each and junior Yaje Ngundam (Bowie, Md.) tallied four kills.

Redshirt junior Marissa Martinez (Albuquerque, N.M.) and redshirt sophomore Alicia Grant (Edgewood, Md.) paced the Lady Bulldogs with six and five service aces respectively. Martinez led the team in digs with 12, Ngundam picked up nine and Grant was responsible for seven digs. Sophomore Brooke Archer-Simpson was BSU’s and the matches assist leader with 14.

Sarah Allsop led the Washington Adventist Shock (0-8) with three kills while Delaina Williams and Adriana Mitchell added a pair of kills apiece in the loss. The Shock ended the night with an attack percentage of  minus .145 compared to a positive .039 for Bowie State.

The Lady Bulldogs return to conference action on Thursday (October 2nd), hosting The Lincoln University at 6 pm in the Leonidas S. James Complex – A.C. Jordan Arena.

Discover faster fat loss...

Hey there,

By now, you've probably heard a lot about my 14 Day Fat Furnace program, and if you haven't, you should know that it's pretty amazing at melting fat off the body. So, what exactly is the 14 Day Fat Furnace? It's a combination of working out in a short burst, high intensity kind of way and a manipulation (for a lack of a better word) of your eating habits – NOT A DIET.

But here's the coolest part of this thing... the results come FAST. In fact, the entire program lasts 14 days and the results are amazing.

Now, I usually only offer this program to a small group of people- those who are seriously interested in burning a lot of fat in 14 days, and every time I do the program sells out faster than I can blink so I'm considering opening up a few extra spots...

But before I commit to opening a few more spots, I wanted to see how many people on my email list would be interested in my 14 day rapid fat loss program.

If you think you'd be interested in joining this small group and getting fast fat loss results in 14 days, then click on the following link to secure your spot 14 Day Fat Furnace program.

"The program changes every three weeks so my body is challenged and I don’t get bored. I have more energy and my clothes fit better."
