Self-Defense Strategies For Real Life

By: Marty Bresse

In a self-defense class, you'll acquire the skill of being able to predict your opponent's move even before he makes them. For that reason, you'll be able to subdue your adversary as soon as possible and with less force and energy than is required. Self defense is something that everybody must consider because you never know when you might find yourself in an unsafe situation or being challenged by a violent attacker. The streets haven't any laws or rules to protect you and when lots of individuals consume alcohol, they tend to become very violent. Nonetheless, if you're not able to switch, you could be on the losing end and you and the folks you are with will either be really hurt or be dead. Self-defense classes could be taken by anyone regardless of sex and age. You should be able to protect yourself if you use self-defense lessons, plus your gut instinct, in these situations. Sadly, women will always be the target of assaults, which is the reason you have to learn how to protect yourself appropriately. There are times when you making the first hit is necessary. The way you look will not discourage every attacker and although you may not be the one they go for right away, it could be somebody you are with and you are then directly involved in the situation.

The mean streets have no rhyme or reason so you will have to be ready for someone who may not be skilled but driven to hurt you. Women, for the most part, may have to fight off individuals that are stronger or bigger than they are. Because of this, you should consider the different types of assaults that may come your way. Any sort of martial arts training is beneficial to some extent as just being in better condition and stronger will help you. There are lots of reasons why it's a good idea to sign up for a self-defense class.

One reason it's a great idea to register for a self-defense class is that it ensures your personal safety. Taking a self defense or martial arts class can help with your self-confidence. It's an edge to have knowledge in self-defense when you're in a risky situation and you must defend yourself. The danger is that you can become complacent in thinking you are armed to handle a real life situation and many times this is simply not the case.

If you walk in a way that appears self-assured and tough, then you would not have to worry about anyone confronting you. Having a good understanding of where all of the body's vulnerable spots are and how to take advantage of them is crucial for good self-defense. To successfully carry out the various self-defense routines, you should be fit. Sadly, there are not any rules on the street and you need to be aware of this and understand that while a street attacker may be unskilled, they are capable of causing a great deal of damage if you do not know how to respond.

Women, for the most part, may have to fight off individuals who are stronger or larger than they are. As a result, you must consider the various types of attacks that may come your way. If you love competitive sports, you can actually visit places and compete in tournaments. A self-defense class is one of the best ways that a woman can prepare for would-be assailants that may come their way, making it possible for them to fend off individuals who would attack them using the skills they're going to learn. Here, we're going to have a look at some of the traits you need to develop to make sure you are able to either prevent an assault or protect yourself if you must.

This article will look at several techniques for protecting yourself, specifically helping women to fight attackers and reduce assaults. Furthermore, the fact that as a woman you'll typically need to fight off someone who is physically stronger than you means that self defense strategies need to take into account the type of attacks you may be a victim of. In a self-defense class, you are going to acquire the skill of being able to anticipate your opponent's move even before he makes them. Consequently, you can subdue your opponent right away and with less force and energy than is needed. You might also find yourself in a situation where your only choice is to fight back because you are in danger.

You could expect your level of fitness to improve when you take a self-defense class. These classes offer intense exercise sessions to help you improve your flexibility, stamina, and alertness. You'll be able to react immediately to dangers. From elimination to simple fighting tips (Click To Learn More), everyone can learn to protect themselves.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8, NKJV).
We can’t put our trust in worldly values to guide us through life, because they constantly shift and change. However, Jesus always remains the same; aligning our beliefs and values with His Word gives us the stability we need to move forward in confidence.

Recall God's Mercies

Lamentations 3:21-23

God is faithful. He's full of compassion. His mercies are new every morning. As a believer, you know all that. But simply knowing it is not enough.
For it to do you any good, you have to recall it. You have to remember it again and again in order to rekindle your hope and stir your faith.
So, make it a point to remind yourself of God's faithfulness every morning. Remind yourself of the benefits that are yours in Jesus.
What are those benefits? Psalm 103 spells them out:
1. He forgives all your sins.
2. He heals all your diseases.
3. He redeems your life from destruction.
4. He crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies.
5. He satisfies your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6. He executes righteousness and judgment for you against oppression.
7. He sets you free.
8. He makes known His ways to you.
9. He gives you His grace and mercy in times of need.
Make it a point every morning to say those things out loud to the Lord. Stand before Him in prayer and recall His mercies to you. Keep it up and you'll be stronger in faith and more confident of God's love than you've ever been before.
Don't just settle for knowing God's blessings. Remember them every day and watch them come alive in you.

How to Build Muscle as a Woman: The Ultimate Guide to Lose Fat and Gain Muscle the Right Way

It's one of the most frequent questions we get asked: how to build muscle as a woman. For many of us with the XX chromosome, building muscle mass can seem like an impossible task. For one, we often want to build muscle while also losing fat. Also, we want to lean out, not bulk up.
Rest assured: it can be done, and it can be done easily. Keep reading. Here's the ultimate guide on how to build muscle as a women.

How Muscle Grows

When you lift heavy weights, the tiny fibres in your muscles get stressed out and tear. These tears are why you experience pain after a solid workout. It's all part of the process. When your body starts to repair the tears, the muscle grows back stronger. This is called muscle hypertrophy, and it starts within two hours of a workout and lasts, on average, for seven to eleven days.

How Long Does it Take to See Growth

Everyone will see changes at a different pace, and really noticeable visual changes are usually detected at lower body fat percentages. So, if you're 80 pounds overweight, you'll likely feel the changes before you'll see them, because fat will cover the muscle. This said, when you put on muscle mass, you burn more fat, so the fat will start melting away eventually.
Muscle growth for beginners is measurable around eight weeks of starting a new routine. If you're at an intermediate or advanced fitness level, you can see results in as little as three weeks. This is because your body is already adept at building muscle and is operating more effectively.

The Best Kinds of Resistance Training For Women

Let's get this out of the way: there is no best kind of resistance training for women. The best kind of resistance training for you will be whichever kind you like, that encourages you to keep training. Let's take a look at two of the most common and universally liked forms of resistance training.

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). By allowing you to torch major calories during your workout while building muscle, HIIT is, arguably, the fastest and most effective way to build muscle as a women. HIIT has been shown to be more effective at cardio conditioning and muscle building than steady state cardio and unstructured weight training alone. Read the full article with video.......

Dr. Eric Berg Featuring: Are Whole Grains Destroying Your Brain?

Are whole grains healthy or not?
Are whole grains healthy, or are these grains destroying your brain? Many people say whole grains are healthy for you but are they really?

Are whole grains healthy, or are these grains destroying your brain? Many people say whole grains are healthy for you but are they really?
Most whole grains contain gluten. Gluten is a protein in certain grains—especially wheat. People typically associate gluten with digestive problems. However, there is another condition related to gluten that’s destroying your brain. It’s called gluten ataxia.

Gluten ataxia is a lack of voluntary coordination of muscle movement. It is an autoimmune disease triggered by gluten that destroys the cerebellum. Only 10% of the time do people have GI symptoms. 40 % of people have GI damage, but only 10% show symptoms. Once your cerebellum is damaged, it’s very difficult to reverse the damage.
Gluten ataxia can cause problems with:
 • Gait - balance
 • Speech • Eyes
 • Posture 1st symptoms of gluten ataxia:
• Decreased focus
 • Brain fog
 • Mood disorder
 • Cognitive decline
Consider not consuming grains for this reason and try healthy keto.
Another thing to keep in mind is that even though there may not be gluten in the grains, you still have grains. Those grains will turn to sugar fast and spike insulin, which can create a lot of other problems.

Real World Police Presented on US Sports Net by Tactical P.E. Ex-Army Combat Medic Stabs Neighbor: Interviews & Interrogations, Part I

On the night of April 10, 2016 Benjamin Gregory Lewis, then 37, got into a fight with his Lakewood (WA) neighbor Amaya T. Johnson. Lewis was a former Army combat medic who had served in Iraq. He had been accepted to Ranger school at Fort Benning, Georgia, and would disclose later that night that he was diagnosed with PTSD. At the time the fight occurred Lewis was working in construction as a concrete finisher.
https://c292dm0dua3jzpbqlbuhzten3i.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=USSPORTSBLOG

Despite not knowing the name of the person he was about to nearly kill, Lewis and Johnson threw down in the parking lot of their apartment complex. At one point during the fight, Lewis was seen by witnesses on top of Johnson attempting to strangle him. Witnesses also reported seeing Lewis holding a steak knife, which he used to deliver four stab wounds to Johnson's neck and upper body. Lewis fled in a dark colored Kia before the police arrived.

When officers arrived on scene they found Johnson lying in a supine position on the ground. He appeared incoherent and there was a knife blade - broken from the handle - on the ground next to him. Also nearby were a glass crack pipe and a 211 Steel Reserve beer can. Responding officers observed multiple puncture wounds on Johnson and a medic bystander was providing basic life support.

On scene officers contacted a neighbor who had witnessed much of the fight and also contacted Amber Lance, Benjamin Lewis's girlfriend. The neighbor-witness made allegations suggesting that Amber had been involved in the crime.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, Officer Nick McClelland had located Lewis's Kia, and with the assistance of other officers made a high-risk traffic stop, taking Lewis into custody. Lewis was cooperative and told Officer McClelland that he would answer questions "to a point." He related that he had just left his residence and was headed to "nowhere". When asked why he had blood on him, Lewis responded "there was a scuffle." Officer McClelland asked him who he had a "scuffle" with and Lewis replied "a dude that kept fucking with me" who he could only describe as a fat black male. When Officer McClelland asked Lewis what had happened during the fight, Lewis replied "I was trying to kill him." Lewis denied using any weapons and stated that he was only trying to choke the fat black dude.

Benjamin Lewis, Amber Lance, and the witness were all brought to the Lakewood, Washington police station for questioning.

This video contains the police interview of the neighbor-witness, followed by the interrogation of Amber Lance, girlfriend of former combat medic and neighbor-stabber Benjamin Lewis.

The police interrogation of Benjamin Gregory Lewis is available right now to all Real World Police supporters on Patreon. It will be available publicly on Tuesday this week. Additionally, all Patreon supporters will soon have access to the complete police report for this case, as well as a 30-minute audio interview with the victim — who has a very different version of events.

Be sober-minded; be watchful…firm in your faith.

Emotions Are Here to Stay from Joycemeyer.org

We all have emotions, and we always will; they are part of being human. Since that is true, I believe emotional stability should be one of the main goals of every believer. We should seek God to learn how to manage our emotions and stop them from managing us.
I urge you to make emotional maturity a priority in your life. If you do not believe you are doing a good job of managing your emotions, begin to pray and seek God for emotional maturity. I also encourage you to learn what upsets you the most or prompts you to behave emotionally, and be watchful during those situations.
Prayer Starter: Father, I ask for Your help to manage my emotions. Help me to mature in You and have a greater understanding of why I do the things I do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
