“And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world” (1 John 2:2).
Jesus Christ has already
paid the price for our sins. People don’t go to hell because of their
sinful actions, but because they don’t believe He permanently took care
of their sins on the cross.
We understand “do good, get good, do bad, get bad” but how is it that
God would give us His blessings like forgiveness and healing even when
we don’t deserve them? Because of grace! Because of His love for us, God sent His only Son to
earth to save, redeem and heal us through His death, even though we had
nothing to offer Him in return! Today, we have eternal life, and can
enjoy all of God’s blessings (see Rom. 5:7–8 MSG, Rom. 8:32). Watch the rest of the series here! Ep 2: https://youtu.be/J8W_y6CGK4k Ep 3: https://youtu.be/0KUbomjFk-0 Ep 4: https://youtu.be/W0j8slS-MkE Ep 5: https://youtu.be/J8W_y6CGK4k Ep 6: https://youtu.be/eN0UnaFaz4g ---

Constantly keep in mind Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [as] risen from the dead…
2 Timothy 2:8, The Amplified Bible
This
is the key to holding on to the blessings of God. When pressure comes,
when troubles and trials are bearing down on you, remember Jesus Christ,
risen from the dead! Remember that when Jesus arose, you arose.
When He came out of hell and defeated the enemy, you came out of hell
and defeated the enemy. His victory is your victory because you’re in
Him. In the hard places, remember that. When the devil tells you
you’re not going to get your answer this time, remember that. When he
tells you there’s no way out, you remember Christ, the Anointed One, the
Victorious Conqueror, risen from the dead and seated at the right hand
of the Father! If there’s an image Satan hates more than any
other, it must be that image of Jesus, rising from the dead, stripping
him forever of his authority, and openly displaying his defeat to all of
heaven and hell. That’s the picture you need to keep in the forefront
of your mind. Think about it until it’s etched into your heart so deeply
that nothing Satan says or does can get it out of you. That’s
when the gifts of God will be established in your life. That’s when the
devil won’t be able to talk you out of your inheritance with trials and
tribulations. Keep in mind Jesus Christ, risen from the dead!

Tulsa police released dash and body camera video of a deadly
officer-involved shooting that happened in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The incident
happened back on June 15, when Tulsa police responded to a report of a
man pistol whipping someone and firing shots near 21st and Garnett. Once
on scene, you can hear an officer in a patrol car saying, "Watch for
the gun to come out, turn your bodycam on, yup everything is on, I am
ready for him to draw." Another officer's bodycam video showed the start
of the chase. You can hear an officer turn on the siren. The car pulled
over and someone jumped out, then the suspect took off in the car.
"Stop right there, show me your hands, hands up, he's going, he's
going!" said one officer. Body camera video showed police chasing the
car for about ten minutes.
"He shot, I'm not sure if he shot somebody. I saw the gun in his hand if
someone can give us the intersection and let us know the crime that we
are dealing with," said one officer. Video showed officers finding the
suspect's car stopped in a yard. That's when the suspect, identified as
Eric Portillo, jumped out and took off running. Then, an officer shot
Portillo. "Frank 2-13 shots fired, he had the gun in his hand," said one
officer. Police immediately commanded Portillo to crawl and then roll
toward them, before helping him. “We are helping you bro. Try to breath
slow, drop your blood pressure, what's your name?" said an officer.
Portillo died two days after the shooting. Officer Dean Montgomery, the
officer who fired the shots, had been on paid administrative leave since
the shooting happened. The District Attorney's Office would not comment
on the shooting, because the investigation is still active.
“For if by one man’s offence
death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace
and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus
Christ” (Romans 5:17).
We’re made righteous not by
anything we do, but because of what Jesus already did. Righteousness is a
gift we could never earn; we receive it by grace.
Dr. Dollar shares his personal accounts of how Grace has been the
driving force for his ministry over the last several decades, and how
through the grace of God, his life has, quite literally, been saved.
Get Out From Under
Gloria Copeland
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1 John 4:4
Under the circumstances…. Have you ever caught yourself using that phrase? “I suppose I’m doing pretty well under the circumstances.” If
you’ve ever said something like that, I want you to kick those words
out of your vocabulary right now. Because you, as a victorious child of
God, don’t have any business living your life “under” your
circumstances. You don’t have any business letting problems and
situations rule over you.
Two thousand years ago, Jesus—the One
who is in you—ransacked Satan’s kingdom. Through His death at Calvary,
He legally entered the regions of the damned and stripped Satan of
everything. He took away all his armor. He took the keys to death and
hell. He bound that strong man, looted his kingdom, and Colossians says
He spoiled principalities and powers and made a show of them openly,
triumphing over them. Then Jesus turned around and gave that victory to you. You
are of God. Remember that! You have overcome through Jesus because He
lives in you. You never have to live “under” the circumstances again!
