Cellular Nutrition in Cancer Treatment
By: Lucy Jones.

Cancer treatments come in many different forms, from the traditional chemotherapy and radiation therapy to newer practices such as hyperthermia and intravenous vitamin supplements. This article will be looking at the use of cellular nutrition in cancer treatments, including alternative therapies.

Optimal cell health is very important for our health and can be achieved through nutrition. Our cells work hard to turn oxygen and nutrients into energy and water using the cellular power plants called mitochondria that each of them contains. The problem is that oxygen is toxic to our cells and produces free radicals which oxidize biological molecules, just like iron oxidizes when it rusts. This damages the cells and inactivates cellular respiration, causing the cell to die. The body’s fats, proteins and DNA are impaired, contributing to aging and diseases like cancer.

Oxidative stress can be reduced by strengthening the body's antioxidant defenses and bringing down the number of free radicals in the body. Optimal cellular nutrition is the best way of doing this. All nutrients need to be supplied to the cell at optimal levels so it can choose which nutrients it needs.

Within a few months of achieving optimal cell nutrition our nutrient levels are corrected. So how do we reach this goal? Research shows that following the RDA, or recommended daily allowance, of certain vitamins is not enough. Some studies demonstrate that the optimal level of vitamin C is in fact 1200 to 2000 mg per day, much more than the RDA which is just 60 mg.

To achieve optimal cellular nutrition we would need to eat 18 oranges, 17 kiwis or 160 apples. Clearly we need to take some supplements if we want to reach these vitamin levels.

When it comes to cancer treatment cellular nutrition can work alone in fighting the disease in its early stages, but it is usually used to strengthen the body prior to more traditional therapies. As well as changing our diet we need to move beyond an over the counter approach to supplementation.

Angeles hospital in Mexico provides cancer patients with organic meals as well as pharmaceutical grade supplements. Supplementation programs are created by a team of medical experts that take important factors such as physical state, genetic background, daily activities, gender, age and the presence or absence of different diseases.

People with chronic diseases like cancer find it harder to meet their daily nutritional needs by just changing their diet as their bodies require extra help. Professionally designed supplementation prescription is often necessary.

On the alternative cancer treatment program at Angeles hospital the Functional Oncology team use your medical history, various tests and lab work to create a supplement regimen to optimize your cellular nutrition and meet your health challenges and needs. The supplementation plan is continually revised and adjusted as your body begins to heal and become more balanced and healthy.

Angeles hospital provides cancer treatment of the highest standards and is known for being an upscale luxury facility with state of the art equipment and the most innovative, effective techniques. To learn more please view our alternative cancer treatment website.

Tactical Workouts Present Police Activity Featuring: Dashcam Shows Fatal Shooting After Intense Police Chase in West Memphis, Arkansas

** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) ** A grand jury decided no charges will be filed on six West Memphis, Arkansas police officers in connection with a chase and shooting that killed two people. The police department says the six officers involved remain on paid administrative leave. West Memphis police held a press conference Friday morning. The department is still conducting its own investigation into the actions of the officers involved. The police chief described the events of January 16 as violent. The department said this all started as traffic because the car in question had its high beams on and no license plate. When the officer turned on the squad car’s lights, a chase began.

That when officers opened fire on the vehicle, killing the driver, 22-year-old Megan Rivera, and her passenger, 30-year-old De'Angelo Brown. According to investigators, the vehicle the pair were in was stolen from a 72-year-old out of South Carolina. Following the shooting, investigators say they found one firearm and cocaine. “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me” (John 16:8, 9).
The only sin that can still send people to hell is the sin of rejecting Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Thankfully, we have the Holy Spirit, who was sent to convince us of God’s love for us.

Joel Osteen Ministries Recent Messages Featuring: Jonathan Osteen - Embracing Every Season and Do It Afraid

People say, “My season’s coming. I’m just waiting on my season.” God has a purpose and a plan for today. Let’s not rush through it. Let’s not dread it. Instead, let’s say, “God, since this is where You have me right now, I’m going to embrace it. I’m going to be my best. I’m going to make the most of it." [Video and more below]

Do It Afraid

Post by Joel Osteen

Twenty years ago my father went to be with the Lord. I had worked comfortably behind the scenes here at Lakewood for seventeen years doing the television production. I felt fulfilled. I thought that's what I'd do the rest of my life. But when he died, I knew I was supposed to step up and pastor the church, but I had never ministered before. All the "what ifs" came—what if you fail, what if nobody comes, what if people don't like you. There were times when I was so afraid that I couldn't do it that I had to hold on to the podium. But it was in that scary place that I discovered talent I hadn't known I had.
In 1 Kings 19, God told the prophet Elijah to anoint Elisha to succeed him as prophet. Elisha had a good job in the family business, with a bright future there. His parents were going to turn the farm over to him one day. But when Elijah came and put his mantle around Elisha, something came alive in Elisha's spirit. He knew he was supposed to leave the familiar and go into the unknown. But it was scary. Staying on the farm, his whole life was lined up and secure. His mind said, "A prophet's life is hard. Stay where you are! Play it safe." But down in his spirit something said, "This is your destiny. This is your moment. Step out in faith," so he did.
Some opportunities don't come a second time. This was a destiny moment for Elisha, where it was either now or never. That's what it was for me with pastoring the church. I didn't have two years to think it over and prepare. My attitude was, "I'm not going to go to my grave wondering what would have happened if I had not let this scary place hold me back." I was afraid, but on the other side of the fear was a destiny bigger than I ever imagined.Life is too short to settle for things that you know are less than what's in you. I've learned that if it doesn't scare me, it's not big enough. If we can do it in our own strength, it doesn't take faith. I dare you to pray, "God, bring something across my path so big that only You can make it happen. Scare me again." When He does, don't shrink back; take that step of faith. If you do, you're going to rise to levels you never thought possible, accomplish dreams bigger than you've imagined, overcome obstacles that seemed insurmountable, and reach the fullness of your destiny.

Chris Beat Cancer Featuring: Sweating detoxifies heavy metals and Simple and Natural Ways to Detox Your Body

Simple and Natural Ways to Detox Your Body

By: Abdul Gaffer

Do you feel tired, sluggish, or just plain unhealthy? If so, the answer to your problems may lay in a body detox, also commonly known as a body cleanse. With a cleanse, you allow your body to expel the potentially harmful toxins it has accumulated throughout the years. The end result should be an improvement in your health and overall wellbeing.

So, how can you cleanse or detoxify your body? The good new is your options, as you have many. Just five of the many ways that you can detoxify your body are outlined below.

Eat Organic Foods

Toxins accumulate in our bodies for various reasons, but one main reason is all the unnatural foods we ingest. Many of today’s popular products, including foods, snacks, and drinks, are ridden with unnatural chemicals. Even with a healthy digestive system, not all of these toxins can be eliminated. That is why a cleanse is recommended on occasion.

Since the main cause of toxin buildup in our bodies is the unnatural foods we consume, the easiest way to detoxify your body is to make the switch to organic foods. With all natural ingredients, you are taking a break from the chemical and additive ridden foods currently on the market today.

When eating organic foods, it is best if you make the full-time switch to all-natural foods, but even just a few weeks or months of consuming organic only foods can help to improve your health.

Water Fasting

Water fasting is a relatively quick way to detox your body, but it is an approach that many people find difficult. This is due to the elimination of solid foods. On average, a fast can last three to five days. Any longer should be under the guide of a trained medical professional, as you may put your health at risk.

A water fast is popular due to your ability to lose weight. If you do not eat solid foods, calories are not an issue. This will automatically result in weight loss. With that said, know that your weight loss will likely just be temporary. When you resume eating, you will start to gain weight. To maintain a healthy weight, stick with healthy foods.

Juice Fasting

Juice fasting is similar to water fasting; only juice is consumed. On the market, you will find a number of all-natural juices. These juices are made without sugar and other unnatural additives. You can also make your own juices at home with a juicer. This approach is nice, as it allows you to experiment and find the best tasting juices.

Juice fasting has the same dangers as water fasting, as you are not consuming solid foods. That is why extended juice fasts are advised against. It is, however, the perfect alternative for those who fear that the tastelessness of water can ruin their fast.

Increase Fiber Intake

Fiber is important to a healthy digestive system. Since many studies have shown that most do not consume the recommended daily dose of fiber, it is no surprise that many experience a buildup of toxins in their bodies. That is why foods that are high in fiber are recommended. It is best to get your fiber through foods, such as raspberries, as opposed to fiber supplements.

By increasing your fiber intake, you should notice an improvement in your digestive system and regularity. This may be enough to please you. If you truly want to cleanse your body, it is best to combine fiber with healthy or all-natural, organic foods.

Exercise

Unfortunately, when many individuals think of expelling toxins from the body, the bathroom automatically comes to mind. Yes, this is the most common way to detox the body, but the human body also does so through sweating. For that reason, exercise can help you detox your body.

As with increasing your fiber intake, exercise is recommended with healthy eating. On the other hand, exercising and water or juice fasting does not go hand-in-hand. When on a fast, you will notice a temporary decrease in energy, due in part to the elimination of solid foods. You need to conserve your energy; therefore, strenuous exercise is not recommended while on a juice or water fast.

Forty nine people have been killed and more than 20  others have been seriously injured at two mosques in the New Zealand city of Christchurch after at least one gunman opened fire on worshipers.
The man, who identified himself as 28-year-old Australian-born Brenton Tarrant, filmed the attack on social media. Dressed in a military-style, camouflage outfit, and carrying an automatic rifle he started randomly shooting people in the Al Noor mosque shortly after 1.40pm local time (12.40am GMT).
Tarrant, who filmed himself attacking a Christchurch mosque in a Facebook Live video, posted a 74-page manifesto in which he claims to be from a “working class, low income family”.
He said he was of Scottish, Irish and English stock and moved to New Zealand temporarily to plan and train and then stayed there after deciding to conduct the attack.
“I have read the writings of Dylann Roof and many others, but only really took true inspiration from Knight Justiciar Breivik,” he wrote.

The Heart of the Matter

1 Samuel 16:7

Too often we ask God to fix the problems around us when what He really wants to do is solve the problem within us. I did that myself for years where my weight was concerned. I prayed and prayed for God to help me lose weight. Yet I experienced repeated failure. I lost literally hundreds of pounds, only to gain them right back again.
Finally one day, I made a firm decision. I told God, "I am not going one step further until I find out what to do about this!" Then I went on a fast, shut myself away from everyone, and determined to hear from God.
During that fast the Lord revealed the real source of my problem. He showed me that I wanted to lose weight, but I didn't want to permanently change my eating habits. I was like an alcoholic who wants to be able to drink constantly and not be affected by it. I wanted to eat nine times a day and still weigh 166 pounds!
Suddenly I realized God wasn't content simply to rid me of the extra pounds on the outside of me. He wanted to rid me of the sin of gluttony on the inside of me. So I repented of that sin right then and there. (It was then that I realized just how hard it is for a man who drinks to face the fact that he's an alcoholic. It hurts to admit something like that.) Then, instead of asking God for deliverance from my weight problem, I asked Him for deliverance from my food problem.
Sure enough, He did it.
If your prayers don't seem to be changing the problems around you, maybe it's time to take a look inside. Maybe it's time to ask God to go to work on the heart of the matter.

Keys To Success: Character
By: Steve Scott

Character is a creative endeavor. You do have a choice when it comes to character.

It is somewhat like an artist creating a sculpture. In my opinion, as a personal development coach, character is not something that just happens by itself. A chisel cannot create a work of art without the hand of an artist guiding it.

You Are The Artist Of Your Character

You create your character by making a conscious decision for a specific outcome. Then you make choices. You make hundreds and hundreds of choices. Your choices are like the brush strokes of an artist. And your choices will turn you gradually into who you are, at any given moment and who you want to be.

If you don’t engage in the decision making process, you will still be somebody. You will still be alive, but may have a personality rather than character.

The Essence of Character

Character is not something you were born with and can’t change, like your fingerprints. In fact, because you weren’t born with it, it is something that you must take responsibility for creating.
Self-employed business owners, successful entrepreneur, solo professionals and individuals interested in creating a better business, life or both understand that the foundation for future success rests on their character. Small business success and small business growth depend upon it.
In my opinion, character isn’t necessarily built by adversity. Nor is it eroded by success. Whether you are running a small business, starting up your own business or work for a company your character is built by how you respond to what happens in your life.
Rich or poor, winning or losing, easy times or hard times….you build character out of certain qualities you must create and diligently nurture within yourself.

Character—It Is Your Legacy

To me, here’s one of the most interesting aspects of character. If you are sincerely committed to making yourself into the person you want to be, you’ll not only create those qualities, but you’ll continually strengthen them.

Jim Rohn says this about character. "Character sustains itself and nurtures itself even as it is being put to work, tested and challenged. And, once character is formed, it will serve as a solid, lasting foundation upon which to build the life you desire."

Your legacy is your character. Your life is a self-portrait. Autograph it with excellence. Excellence in character is what others will remember now and in the future after you have passed their way.
