Sheboygan County, Wisconsin --- A high speed chase in Sheboygan County has resulted in two people being placed in handcuffs. A Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Deputy reportedly pulled a vehicle over for speeding on I-43 near the exit to State Highway 23 at around 12:30 AM.
When the deputy got out of his vehicle, the suspect car took off, reaching speeds of over 100 MPH. The vehicle was eventually brought to a halt near Cedar Grove, when deputies used the Pursuit Intervention Technique, commonly referred to as the PIT Maneuver. No one was injured in the pursuit, but the driver is now facing charges of eluding, speeding, and possessing drug paraphernalia, while the passenger was charged for carrying a concealed knife.

The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward. Lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, that the people of Israel may go through the sea on dry ground.

When God called Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, Moses felt very inadequate and kept telling God what he could not do and did not have.
God asked him what he had in his hand and Moses replied, “A rod.” It was an ordinary rod, used for herding sheep. God told him to throw it down, implying that Moses was to give it to Him. When God gave the rod back to Moses, it was filled with miracle-working power and was used by Moses to part the Red Sea as well as for other miracles.
If you will give God what you have, no matter how little and ineffective you may think it is, God will use it and give you back more than you gave Him.
In other words, it is not our abilities that God desires, but it is our availability He wants. He wants us to see possibilities, not problems. Don’t spend your life thinking “if only” you had something else, then you could do something worthwhile. “If only” is a thief of what could be.
Prayer Starter: Lord, I make myself available to You, just as I am. Please use me to do Your will, and help me to begin seeing possibilities everywhere I go. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

LYNCHBURG, Va. (February 23, 2019) – Howard University’s senior swimmer KaSandra Kaplan (Detroit) added to her stellar collegiate career by shattering three more school records Saturday at the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Championships.
In the women’s 400 Free Relay, Kaplan, alongside junior Leanne McMaster (Kingston, Jamaica) and newcomers Madison Freeland (Glenside, Pa.) and Myka Thomas (Philadelphia), served as the squad’s leadoff swimmer where she broke the school’s 100 Free (51.97), downing her own mark set last year (52.21).
Additionally, the four Bison set a program record in the event, registering a 3:32.52 time. The previous mark was established at the 2018 H2ounds Invitational (3:34.92).
Individually, Kaplan reset the record book in the 200 Butterfly, producing a new benchmark in the prelims (2:08.59).
Freeland, McMaster and Thomas also etched themselves in the record book. Freeland earned the school’s eighth (2:14.88) and ninth (2:15.43) fastest marks in the 200 Butterfly while McMaster swam the fourth (2:26.10) and eighth (2:28.39) best times in the 200 Breast. Thomas posted a new personal best in the 100 Free, which was the sixth-best in program history.
Senior Latroya Pina (Seeknok, Mass.) competed in her final collegiate meet where she recorded the ninth (2:28.78) and 10th (2:30.43) fastest times in the 200 Breast.
Other notable Bison include freshman Simone Outlaw (Burlington, N.J.) clocking in a new personal best in the women’s 200 Back (2:13.89), which was fifth-fastest in school history.
Overall, the Bison scored 416 points and placed ninth.
Liberty captured the 2019 CCSA Women's Swimming & Diving Championship for the second time in school history.

At the CCSA Championships, Howard set nine school marks total, including eight on the women’s side. Kaplan earned four individual records (200 IM; 200 Free; 200 Butterfly; and 100 Free). Jackson claimed the program’s 100 Breast while three relay squads (200 Free; 400 Medley; and 400 Free) etched their names in Bison history.
Also, the CCSA Championships saw 10 Bison competing in their final collegiate meet, including three women: Kaplan; Pina; and Akeyla Holley (Fort Washington, Md.).
Howard women finished 2-0 inside Burr Pool.
Although team competition is over, sophomore diver Christian Nickolas (Brentwood, Calif.) season continues in her preparation for the upcoming NCAA Diving Championships (March 11-13).
