3 Softball Drills To Do At Home

All while simply using regular household items to work on their game. It’ll not just get them more focused on the sport, but also at the same time, I’m sure you will see some rapid improvement with their on-field performance. Throughout this article, I’ll walk you through some at-home drills you can teach your players.
Drill #1: Posterboard Strike Zone
This drill you can do with a number of different things, but I’ll suggest using a posterboard. Grab some tape and create a strike zone on the board. Then, tape it about a foot off the ground. Once you have your strike zone built, head upstairs and grab a few pairs of socks rolled up (in other words, your softballs). The last item you’ll need is a camera. Anything will do here, you can even tell them to grab one of their parent’s phones. Set it behind where you’ll be pitching from and set it to record video.
Finally, now that you’re ready to practice, work on the motion of going through the windup and throwing the socks (i.e. softball) into the posterboard. With the video footage, you’ll be able to dissect the motion and overall throwing process. Some valuable insight that most youth players never evaluate.
Drill #2: Arm Strength and Hands Drills
A major part of being an effective softball player is having soft hands and a strong arm. An easy drill for this only requires a net or a wall. For the hands aspect of this category, all you have to do is throw the ball off the wall. This will allow you to practice various ground balls, short hops, and so on. Then, for arm strength, just use the wall as a way to practice throwing. Work on arm motion particularly here.
Don’t have a solid wall to use? No worries, just use a tennis ball and the garage. Trust me, it works just as well.
Drill #3: Take Some Cuts
This final drill might just be the simplest one for your players to practice. For this, they’ll just need a mirror and a bat. The player will get in front of the mirror and simply take full cuts while seeing in-person how their stance looks, as well as the swing. While it might sound like a nominal drill, it’s actually key to developing a consistent swing.
As for how often it would be recommended to do this drill, I’d suggest having them take 15-20 swings at a time on 3 different instances each day.
Practice, Practice, Practice!
In the end, one of your primary jobs as a youth softball coach is to develop the work ethic necessary to grow as a player and a person. Even though you won’t be working first-hand on these drills with your players, you will be the one responsible for growing their love for the gameMore softball articles............

Fit Mom's Success Story! Autumn loses 16 Pounds with Hitch Fit Weight Loss Plan

I’m so proud of today’s transformation Autumn! I had the honor of working with this determined mother of 3 (including TWINS!) a few years back in 2013 when she wanted to get into Bikini Model shape. She did a fantastic job through her first transformation. Since that time Autumn tackled other goals including running marathons and competing in bikini competitions. She suffered some injuries and setbacks and needed to find a place of balance.  I was so happy that she reached back out for my help! This time around we had several obstacles to work around and get Autumn to a place where she was feeling great. Autumn went through the Hitch Fit Lose Weight Plan “Lose Weight Feel Great”. We got her eating on track again and on a training program that would accommodate her injuries. She started seeing results right away and that motivated her to stay on track. Awesome job Autumn!
Autumn’s Stats:
Starting weight: 160
Ending weight: 144
Starting body fat: 22.73%

Understanding the basics and simple methodology of Auto Insurance

By: Armando Hernandez
Auto Insurance which relates to car insurance, GAP insurance or motor insurance is simply the insurance policies obtained for items like motorcycles, trucks, cars and all forms of road vehicle.

This form of insurance is to provide financial coverage against issues like accidents and other vehicle liabilities.

To a slighter notch, auto insurance also offers financial protection against theft of a vehicle and feasible damages to the vehicle, sustained from things other than accidents.

What do you truly conceive about the various kinds of auto insurance policies and do you know how to choose the best coverage that suits your style and budget?

It is advised that you know what your intended insurance firm offers and requires, and what sort of coverage they cover as this will help to protect you in the event of an accident.

A typical insurance quote is an estimate of whatever the rate is applicable with your intended insurance provider. And quotes vary depending on information provided by you to the firm.

Let’s discuss on kinds of coverage available below:

- Liability coverage: This is always included in this form of insurance and this is a protective coverage from damage you commit to others or done to you.

- Full coverage: The mistaken or misunderstood term "full coverage" is just a term that may not really exist? It’s a term used to refer to the combination of collision and comprehensive.

A bunch of folks assume they have full coverage on their auto insurance but in truth it is commonly one that includes different types of insurance coverage that, as a whole, offers a compact level of shield in event of a mishap.

Whenever you plan to get an auto insurance policy going for you, consider factors such as your automobile type, your drive score, and the worth of cash you are thinking of paying for the premiums available.

Always you should find out what coverage and available limits best suits your insurance need.

The other kinds of auto insurance coverage policies to consider are:

1 -The Gap insurance coverage: If your automobile is summed in an accident, this coverage helps pay the balance between the amount you are indebted on your loan or lease and the car’s estimated actual cash worth.

2 -The Uninsured motorist shield: In case you are hit by a driver without insurance this cover the costs.

3 -The Underinsured motorist shield: If the other driver has deficient insurance this also cover your costs.

4 -The Medical payments coverage: This insurance pay for your medical costs after an automobile accident, and it doesn't matter if you are the one at fault.

To win at getting the best of auto insurance considering quality, affordability and cheap auto insurance, please consider researching out for reliable and efficient firm with good proven track record and history and in reality the best protection is always the most insurance you can afford to carry.

It is very simple to get insured now and all it takes are just a few steps away.
1 - Calling an insurance agent: Anyone can do this by getting a preferred insurance firm’s phone number and initiating a discussion on your basic needs.

2 - Get a quote online: Surf the net and get the best and most affordable suited to your insurance needs. Looking around for insurance quotes could potentially save you hundreds of dollars.

OCTOBER 23 from CDM

“For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work” (James 3:16).
The enemy uses strife to make inroads into our lives, and wreak havoc and destruction. Fortunately, we have authority over this evil spirit, and it’s powerless against us when we use this authority.

When Tough Times Come

Acts 9:31

There are times when life on this earth is hard and uncomfortable...and even downright painful. When those times come, you deeply need the comfort that only the Holy Spirit can bring.
How do you receive that kind of comfort?
By doing just what the believers in Acts did. By “walking in the fear of the Lord.”
Now, when I talk about “the fear of the Lord,” please understand, I’m not saying you should be afraid of God. He’s your Father! You should be as secure and unafraid when you come before Him as a child who knows he is dearly loved. But you must also have so much respect for Him that whenever He reveals something you need to do, you do it immediately—even if it goes against your natural desires. That’s walking in the fear of the Lord.
Let me show you what I mean. Once, several years ago, I received a very disturbing phone call shortly before I was to preach at one of our meetings. It was painful news about a situation in which one of my children had been wronged. The news of it wounded my heart.
I cried, and in the natural, I wanted to get angry about it, to strike back in some way. But instead, I began praying in other tongues. As I prayed, I was prompted in my spirit to rejoice and praise the Lord.
I certainly didn’t feel like praising. I felt like stomping my foot. But, out of respect to the Lord, I put my feelings aside and obeyed. Next, the Holy Spirit impressed me to read a particular prophecy. As I did, I could tell I was being strengthened.
Then suddenly, I realized I was free. By my obedience, I had opened myself to the comforting power of the Holy Spirit. The anger and pain that had filled me just moments before were gone! They had been replaced by the gentle love and reassurance of the Lord.
No matter how tough or painful a situation you may be facing today, trust and obey the directions of your Father. He will make that same supernatural, Holy Spirit-inspired comfort available to you!
