The Truth About Cancer’s mission is to inform, educate, and eradicate the pandemic of cancer in our modern world. Every single day, tens of thousands of people just like you are curing cancer (and/or preventing it) from destroying their bodies.
It’s time to take matters into your own hands and educate yourself on real cancer prevention and treatments. It could save your life or the life of someone you love. GMO's and Glyphosate, a Disastrous Marriage
By: Dee Everleigh
It has long been known that pesticides and herbicides are toxic for human consumption. Although their use can increase crop production, they are damaging to our bodies, and even to crop plants when sprayed directly on them. In 1996, Monsanto began genetically modifying soybeans, corn, cotton, sugarbeets and other crops for resistance to the herbicide glyphosate, commonly known as Roundup. This allowed growers to spray the herbicide directly onto the entire field without damaging the crop. Unfortunately, this has resulted in crop plants filled with herbicide. Now, this toxin has silently creeped into almost every food product in our grocery store, ultimately damaging the delicate balance of bacteria that lie within our digestive systems. Glyphosate was discovered by John E. Franz, an organic chemist who synthesized the herbicide while working at Monsanto's Company in 1970. This chemical became, and now remains, the active ingredient in Roundup, a broad-spectrum herbicide used and sold by Monsanto. Today, it is still used in agriculture, and by millions of homeowners to control weeds in their landscapes. Roundup is applied directly to the leaves of weeds, and works systemically. This means that once it is absorbed by the leaf, it spreads throughout the entire plant system. It kills the plant by interfering with the "shikimate pathway". This seven step pathway is a metabolic route which is vital to the lifecycle of bacteria, fungi, algae, and every living plant. When disrupted, the biosynthesis of necessary folates and aromatic acids such as phenylalanine, tyrosine, and tryptophan are halted. As production of these proteins fail, plant death is inevitable. Initially, Roundup effectively controlled weed growth, however, contact with the crop plant was detrimental. Glyphosate is a broad-spectrum killer, which means it cannot distinguish between crop plants and unwanted weed species. In 1996, Monsanto set out to remedy this problem, by introducing Roundup Ready soybean. This was the first genetically engineered crop that was developed by Monsanto. It was created by introducing a bacterial gene resistant to glyphosate into the DNA of the soybean. This gene was derived from a type of bacteria called Agrobacteria, and now allowed farmers to spray Roundup not only the weeds, but the entire crop without damage. In consequent years, a variety of other Roundup Ready crops were developed, including cotton, corn, sugarbeets and other crops. Roundup was effective until all susceptible weeds were killed, however, soon resistant weeds began to dominate farmlands across the world. These "superweeds" did not respond to the same dosages that killed their susceptible predecessors, therefore, growers simply increased application rates, to eradicate these superweeds. The US Department of Agriculture has estimated that Roundup Ready crops have resulted in an additional application of 383 million pounds of herbicides. This increase in the use of glyphosate greatly increases the likelihood of the chemical running off into nearby ecosystems. At these elevated concentrations, glyphosate potentially causes environmental damage, as well as damage to human health. Monsanto claims that glyphosates are not toxic to humans because human cells do not function by the shikimate pathway. This is true, however, the bacteria in our gut do use this pathway! This means that the glyphosphate residue that we ingest kills the beneficial bacteria in our digestive systems. Pathogenic bacteria are not affected, and as a result they dominate the gut, deplete micronutrients and produce ammonia and formadelhyde by-products, that toxify the system causing inflammation. In addition, the absence of the production of folates and aromatic compounds cause cell shrinkage, resulting in the leakage of these produced toxins into the blood stream. This results in the development of many diseases including encephalitis, Alzheimer's, diabetes, obesity, cancer and autism to name a few. The damages and affects of humans ingesting glyphosate (Roundup) require further investigation. At present, there are no regulations that require the labeling of products that contain glyphosate or the incorporation of GMO's. We are the ONLY country that does not require this! Therefore, many people continue to suffer unknowingly, completely unaware of the havoc this herbicide is causing within their bodies. D. Can I Be Removed from the Megan's Law Registry?
By: Jonathan A. Kessous, Esq.
If you're charged with child sexual assault, a conviction can lead to prison time, lifetime parole and, most seriously, registration on the sex offender registry known as Megan's Law. Registration on this list severely restricts your life, including limits on where you might work or live. Your photograph may even be posted online in an Internet database, stigmatizing you further and possibly making you vulnerable to harassment -- even if you have served your time.
However, what you may not know is that Megan's Law allows for different tiers of classification. These tiers, from low risk to high risk, can drastically effect the consequences of Megan's Law on your life. Your defense attorney works to not only get you classified on the lowest tier possible, but also get you removed from Megan's List as soon as the law allows. How Megan's Law Works Enacted in 1994, Megan's Law is named for Megan Kanka, who was raped and murdered in Hamilton, New Jersey by a neighbor who happened to be a previous sex offender. This law requires convicted sex offenders to register on a list, notifying their neighbors and community of their sex offender status. If you don't register, you're likely looking at additional jail time and other penalties. Here are some common questions defense attorneys often hear regarding Megan's Law: • Who has to register on the sex offender list? Anyone who's been found guilty of child sexual assault or any other child-related sex crime must register. You'll be classified as Tier I (low-risk), Tier II (moderate risk), or Tier (III) high risk. You're also entitled to a hearing before final classification. • What do the Tiers mean? A Tier I classification means law enforcement is notified of your status. Tier II means law enforcement, schools, day care centers, summer camps, and registered community organizations are also notified. Tier III notifies all of these plus the general public. • Are juvenile sex offenders required to register? Yes. • What if I move to another address? You must report your change of address to local police at least 10 days prior to your move. • Will I be on Megan's List forever? You can file an application for removal after 15 years of good behavior. Your criminal defense lawyer in New Jersey can do this on your behalf. Removal from the Sex Offender Registry Megan's Law is a great asset to law enforcement officials in preventing repeat child sexual assault offenses. However, what if you were wrongly accused of sexual assault? Or, what happens if you have served your time? Is it fair to be stigmatized and punished for the rest of your life? This is especially critical if you are (or were) a juvenile at the time of your conviction. It may feel like you have no options, but your defense attorney can help. If, after 15 years, you have not committed an offense after release from incarceration or after conviction, you can petition for removal from the Megan's Law sex offender registry. Your lawyer will work with you and a qualified psychologist to file this petition, and show the courts you are not a threat to the community. If an offender was under 14 years old when charged with child sexual assault, he or she can be eligible for petition at age 18, depending on the circumstances of the offense. Removal from the list allows you to move on with your life without embarrassment or stigma, and gives you a chance to start over. A Megan's Law Defense Attorney Can Help If you or a loved one is charged with any sex crime, you don't have to suffer for the rest of your life. Whether you made a terrible, one-time mistake or were wrongly accused of sexual assault, a sympathetic lawyer can help you with your case.

It Takes a Team
Adapted from the resource Love Out Loud Devotional - by Joyce MeyerIn 1867, John Roebling had a vision and a passion to do something experts said couldn't be done: build a bridge from Manhattan to Brooklyn, in New York City. No one believed it could be done, but Roebling and his son Washington, a young engineer, persevered.
The Roeblings hired their crew and finally got to work on John's dream. Only a few months into the project, a worksite accident took John's life. But the project continued, with Washington as its leader.
Three years later, Washington was severely injured. He was unable to talk, walk, or even move most of his body. But his mind was sharp, and his dream of building the bridge still burned in his heart.
Washington had two things in his favor: one finger that still worked and a wife who loved him. Roebling and his wife figured out a communication system in which he tapped on her arm. For eleven years, Washington tapped out messages and instructions for the bridge, until it was finally complete.
Washington Roebling needed a dependable team of people to achieve his dream. He needed his father, his crew, and his wife. We need other people too; we can love, support, help, and encourage them, and they can do the same for us.

Ideas without execution are mere whims. If you want to see your notion become tangible, you’ll need a plan to bring it to fruition. This is just as true for developing a website as it is for building a house.
Of course, the advent of website buildersoftware has made producing an attractive web presence easier than ever. However, if you don’t have a rigid set of guidelines in place to keep the project on track, it can very easily go off the rails. This is why milestones matter when building a website.
What Are Milestones?
The easiest way to think of milestones is stages of accomplishment. By “X” date, we will have completed the “Y” portion of the project, so we can then move on to the “Z” phase, and so on. When you’re building a website, these stages usually include planning, design, content creation and SEO, development, testing and launch.
Planning
This is where you take all of the aspects of the project into consideration, figure out what tasks need to be done to fulfill them and place them in a logical order. This helps you get a feel for how long it will take to complete each one as well as finish the overall project—and what it will ultimately cost.
Design
This part is made a bit easier with the existence of templated themes. Still, because they can be customized to reflect your own unique vision you’ll still need to spend some time thinking about how you want the finished product to look. The key considerations here are the design of the home page, landing pages, information and product pages, and mobile screens. You’ll also need to consider the look of your navigation and other key pages, such as “About Us” and “Contact Us”. Checkout and payment pages will also need treatments if the site will be used for ecommerce.
Content Creation & SEO
While your design team is working up the look, your content team should be developing the site’s voice. You’ll need page titles and headings, search engine optimization (keywords placed optimally in titles, headings, content and image tags), key messaging and calls to action. Sourcing and/or producing articles and images along with audio and video clips should also be conducted at this time.
Development
With the first three milestones complete, you can start assembling elements to actually build the site. You’ll set up the pages, plug in the content and place your images. Links to various elements from the home page and the navigation bars will also be created during this phase. When you’re done with development, the site look finished—but there are still a couple of more steps to go.
Testing
During this aspect of the production, you’ll go through and test all links, buttons and functions to ensure everything works the way it should. When you click an email address, you should get a popup for creating a message; when you click a “Buy Now” button, you should be taken to a checkout page, etc, etc., etc. Videos should play in the format prescribed. In other words, all functionalities should be reviewed to ensure they do what visitors expect.
Launch
You should be laying the groundwork for your marketing blitz to support your launch while the work above is going on in the background. Get your social presences up and running, tease the development of the site as the various milestones are met—and just generally build anticipation for the day the site goes live.
Then, take it live!
With those milestones completed, you might be tempted to rest on your laurels. However, rather than completion, this begins the management of the life of the site. As users interact with it, you’ll find opportunities for improvement. You’ll also need to add functionalities as technological developments emerge. Security is an ongoing concern as well.
Still, you can enjoy the satisfaction of seeing your idea brought to life right before your eyes. And ultimately, this is why timelines matter when you’re building a website. If you have a tool by which to measure progress, you’ll get a sense of accomplishment as each one is completed. And, it’s even easier with a good website builder like the ones offered by Yahoo Small Business. Check it out today!

AINSLEY RODRIGUEZ: DRINK WATER ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.
Drinking water is one of the best things you can do for your body! A lot of people might go straight for coffee or food as soon as they wake up, but it’s actually not the right thing to do. Get into the habit of drinking at least two glasses of water when you wake up. Do this before you brush your teeth so the water isn’t contaminated with fluoride, and then wait 30 minutes before having breakfast. You’ll be shocked how much more energy you have throughout the day with this simple hack. [Article Continues Below].......

My Uncle Yip Man by Master Lo Man Kam
By: Mark Hamilton
Although Chinese Kung Fu has risen in popularity since the time of Bruce Lee, few people know the inside story of Bruce Lee’s Master - Yip Man, the leader of the Wing Chun Kung Fu style. The author of this article, Lo Man Kam, is the maternal nephew of Grandmaster Yip Man, and also the elder kung fu brother of Bruce Lee. He is presently the Grand Master of the Wing Chun style in Taiwan. As a youth, Master Lo Man Kam, spent much time living with Master Yip Man in the Fut San district in Canton Province. Later, as a young man in Hong Kong, he was among the first of Master Yip’s students. and studied there with him for many years. Thus, his knowledge of the Wing Chun Kung Fu and his uncle Yip Man is extremely extensive. In this article Lo Man Kam gives us a chance to share in some of the adventures and events which occurred in the life of his uncle, Grandmaster Yip Man. My Uncle Yip Man by Lo Man Kam Yip Man’s real name was Ki Man. He was a native of Fo Shan in Kwangtung. He was the second child born in the family, living on Fook Yin Road in the Mulberry Gardens of Fo Shan. His is a well-known family in that area. Next door to his house is a famous tea room of Fo Shan, Tou Yun Gue. Also next door is a famous bakery, Gow Hing Long. The houses of Mulberry Gardens are very big, and Mulberry Gardens itself is very large and well known in Fo Shan.
I (Lo Man Kam) was born in Hong Kong and grew up there. My mother was Yip Man’s sister. During World War II and the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong, I went to Fo Shan to live with my uncle in Mulberry Gardens. At that time, I met and studied with my uncle every day. My mother regularly told me stories of Uncle Yip’s great boxing accomplishments. As a youth, this inspired me, especially in view of the difficult time in which we were living. At the age of seven, my uncle became one of the students of Master Chan Wah Shun. Master Chan was old at the time and rarely taught students himself. Yip Man was his last student. Since Yip became Master Chan’s closed door disciple, Master Chan developed a great liking for him. Yip Man’s elder fellow students, Ng Choun Su, Lar Ru Chi, and Chan Ru Man, all took care of the young Yip Man. The tuition of Master Chan was very high: each student had to pay a few ounces of silver. The common man at the time could not afford such a cost, so Master Chan’s students only numbered in the teens. This is also why Wing Chun is known as the rich person’s kung fu. Six years later, Master Chan was near death. Before he died, he ordered his student Ng Choun Su to teach his younger students. Master Yip Man followed the elder fellow-student for three years. At the age of sixteen, Master Yip went to Hong Kong to study English at St. Steven’s College. There he was introduced by a classmate to the second son of Mr. Leong Jan, Leung Bik. The two studied together for three years and perfected the art of Wing Chun. Among his fellow students, Yip Man got along best with Mr. Yun Ke Shan, who is the student of Mr. Ng Choun Su. Both Yip and Yun are the same age and often spent time together. While at Yip Man’s house, Mr. Yun met Yip’s son, Yip Chun. Mr. Yun was very impressed by Yip Chun, so he taught him the first form of Wing Chun, “Siu Nan Tao.” Article Continues Below.....
...During the early years of the Chinese Republic, Fo Shan had a yearly festival called “Autumn Scenes.” One year Yip Man and his wife went to see the festival. While there, an officer of the military tried to take advantage of Mrs. Yip. At the time, Yip was wearing a long gown with cloth shoes. His stature was not tall, and he looked more like a gentleman than a fighter. The officer figured he was weak and helpless, so he became more daring and offensive. My uncle immediately resorted to the “simultaneous attack and defense” technique of Wing Chun, and the officer was knocked to the floor immediately. The officer then took out his revolver, but uncle grabbed its barrel and used the strength of his thumb to break the trigger, rendering it useless. When the Japanese occupied Fo Shan, the military police caught wind of Yip Man’s reputation and invited him to become their coach. But he refused from the standpoint of righteousness. That angered the Japanese greatly, to the point that they ordered another kung fu master, surnamed Leung, to challenge Master Yip Man. Yip Man accepted only after being asked many times. Master Leung thought his punch very powerful and used it against Master Yip. Yip Man immediately executed the Wing Chun “Horse Stance and Kwan Sao” to defend himself, and then turned around and kicked Master Leung to the ground. After this occurrence, Yip Man left Fo Shan due to the increased pressure the Japanese placed on him. However, he still continued helping the Chinese government suppress the Japanese. After the Japanese resistance, Uncle Yip did not teach Wing Chun, but worked at the police department. In order to rid the area of evil and protect the people, Master Yip solved many crimes, including the Fo Shan Sar Ton Fon Street Robbery, and caught the robber in Sing Ping Theater. Master Yip Man continued his position as leader of the military patrol of south Kwang Chow until the collapse of Mainland China. With the mainland lost, my uncle left Fo Shan for Hong Kong. There he was introduced to Mr. Lee Min, who later helped Yip establish a Wing Chun school at the Mess Union in Da Nan Street, Kowloon. At the beginning, the followers were Lee Min, Leung Chan, Lou Yue, and myself. We had no more than ten students. Mr. Lee is not only a student but also a good friend with my uncle. Later on, Shu Sun Tin and Yip Bue Shing also followed uncle. The students kept increasing to the point that in 1954 Master Yip Man left the Mess Union to establish a kung fu institute at Hia Ten Street, Deep Water Bay, Kowloon. The other students and I followed as usual. At that time, uncle had to leave two or three times a week in order to teach the students of a union at Hollywood Road and Tai Wong Temple at Queen’s Road, East Wanchai. The students kept increasing, so uncle moved the institute from Hia Ten Street to Lee Da Street to Lee Jenwou Village to Hing Yip Building. But he did not openly advertise for students. One would have to be introduced or know a follower. Bruce Lee was introduced by Mr. Cheung Jwo Hing to learn Wing Chun when the institute was at Lee Da Street.
The way of Yip Man’s instruction depended on every student’s degree of knowledge, natural ability, personal habits, and interests. Yip Man’s great innovation was to personalize instruction by making each student’s progress dependent on his own habits and will to succeed. The strength of Yip Man at over seventy was no less than that of a young man. About nine years ago, robberies occurred frequently in Hong Kong. One night when Yip Man was taking a walk, two thugs with knives tried to rob him. It only took Yip Man a few kicks to knock them out of the way. My uncle encouraged me in 1956 to travel to Taiwan and establish a Wing Chun clan there. Also, I received sponsorship from President Chiang Kai-shek in this regard. I was then representing the young people of Hong Kong. I began to miss my home in Hong Kong and tried to return, but my uncle scolded me for coming back. Yip Man thought it was too great a chance to pass by. In 1960, my uncle commanded me to make my permanent home in Taiwan, and I have remained here ever since then. I returned to Taiwan to serve my country by enrolling in a military school and learning the art of war as a field commander. I am the only licensed Wing Chun sifu in Taiwan, and have as one of my students President Chiang Kai-shek’s grandson. Now that I think about it, I realize Yip Man’s intention in sending me back to Taiwan was that I should devote myself to this country and keep Wing Chun kung fu prospering here. His wish is today being fulfilled, for there are French, American, English, South African, Australian, East African, and West German students learning here. During the Asian and World Kung Fu contests, the members of the Wing Chun sport team have received the high honors, thus helping the Wing Chun style to prosper around the world. Because of my obligations in Taiwan, I was unable to attend my uncle’s funeral. What the people outside our area have never learned is that the authentic disciples of Yip Man, such as myself, were the only ones entitled to wear the black band of mourning around their waists. Indirect students, such as Leung Ting, were entitled only to wear black bands around their arms. Since the death of Yip Man, confusion has continued to expand related to all matters associated with Wing Chun. I have chosen to respect the traditional Chinese ethic and my uncle’s memory by avoiding argument and conflict with all those people who claim to be the new head of Wing Chun Clan. My uncle taught that Wing Chun is not for sale. Students may apply for lessons, and each student can make his own decision about which exponent teaches the boxing most suited for him. Kai Sai earned a full teacher’s license from me, the first I ever issued. I have relied upon him since he left Taiwan to teach the Wing Chun that I learned from my uncle Yip Man. Sifu Bradley Temple teaches the Las Vegas branch of the Lo Man Kam Wing Chun Federation. Bradley is a personal disciple of Master Lo and began his studies with Master Lo in Taiwan in 1995.

This verse is simple but it rings of truth: there is no room for despair in our lives. This is because all things are possible to God! We have a promise of salvation from a God who is good and powerful. We should always place our hope and trust in him, no matter how bad things seem in our life. #7 - Hosea 6:1 "Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up." This verse speaks directly about our Lord's desire to heal us and to keep us from true harm. When you are facing the darkest, deepest despair you should remember this verse. Although things in life happen for a reason (meaning you will encounter bad things in your life), our God is there to heal us when we are hurting. Not only that, but he protects us from damnation. So if you need healing during your life - you should ALWAYS turn to God. #6 - John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." What is being said in this verse is: God knows all things, we should have that fact in our mind at all times. If we are facing troubles and are feeling depressed, we should look to God alone for peace and happiness.
#5 - 2 Corinthians 4:8 "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;" We will go through trials in our lives. However, even though we are going to undoubtedly face adversity, perhaps even similar to the adversity that the apostles felt, we should not be distressed or be in despair. Our God is there for us, to support us. If we keep Him at the forefront of our minds, all of these trials will not seem as serious as they would have otherwise. #4 - 2 Corinthians 4:16 "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day." This verse speaks of our soul - and how although our "outward man" (or our body) may face despair and decay, our souls will remain intact. This is because God has saved all of our souls! So no matter what happens here in this world, it won't matter during our everlasting life with God in Heaven. So don't focus on the bad things that happen during life - they are only temporary anyway! #3 - 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." This verse tells us to remember an important fact about our very nature as Christians: God did not give us FEAR, but he gave us the spirit of power, love and of a sound mind. Therefore, we should know in our hearts that He gave us the power to fight against any of the bad things in life. #2 - Psalms 147:3 "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." If we find ourselves amidst troubles and depression, God has the power to heal our broken hearts. He will take those who are crushed, whether it is in body or mind, and he will mend them. This verse is very straightforward, but it holds some of the most important facts for us as Christians. No matter what we face during this life, our God is there to console us and to heal us. #1 - Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." This verse, one of the most popular and important in the Bible, speaks directly to our troubles of depression. This should give us the hope and the knowledge that we can make it through any problems that we have. As Christians, we know that we have CHRIST behind us. He will strengthen us and help us deal with whatever we will face. So although God might not be able to prevent all bad things from happening to us, He WILL help us get through those trials. Not only that, but if are downtrodden and hurt, he will heal us. [More correctly, God through the blood of Jesus can use any situation, turn it around for our positive outcome] Praise be to God!
