Character is a creative endeavor. You do have a choice when it comes to character. It is somewhat like an artist creating a sculpture. In my opinion, as a personal development coach, character is not something that just happens by itself. A chisel cannot create a work of art without the hand of an artist guiding it. You Are The Artist Of Your Character You create your character by making a conscious decision for a specific outcome. Then you make choices. You make hundreds and hundreds of choices. Your choices are like the brush strokes of an artist. And your choices will turn you gradually into who you are, at any given moment and who you want to be. If you don’t engage in the decision making process, you will still be somebody. You will still be alive, but may have a personality rather than character.
The Essence of Character Character is not something you were born with and can’t change, like your fingerprints. In fact, because you weren’t born with it, it is something that you must take responsibility for creating. Self-employed business owners, successful entrepreneur, solo professionals and individuals interested in creating a better business, life or both understand that the foundation for future success rests on their character. Small business success and small business growth depend upon it. In my opinion, character isn’t necessarily built by adversity. Nor is it eroded by success. Whether you are running a small business, starting up your own business or work for a company your character is built by how you respond to what happens in your life. Rich or poor, winning or losing, easy times or hard times….you build character out of certain qualities you must create and diligently nurture within yourself. Character—It Is Your Legacy To me, here’s one of the most interesting aspects of character. If you are sincerely committed to making yourself into the person you want to be, you’ll not only create those qualities, but you’ll continually strengthen them. Jim Rohn says this about character. "Character sustains itself and nurtures itself even as it is being put to work, tested and challenged. And, once character is formed, it will serve as a solid, lasting foundation upon which to build the life you desire."
Your legacy is your character. Your life is a self-portrait. Autograph it with excellence. Excellence in character is what others will remember now and in the future after you have passed their way.
One of the most popular motorcycling sports of all times, motocross started as a kind of all-terrain racing event that took place on off-road circuits, muddy, hilly, slushy or rocky routes and sharp turns. The sport had its origin in the early part of the twentieth century in Great Britain. It was then famous as ‘Scrambles’ and slowly gained popularity among many European nations in the 1920s and 30s. Motocross was the term that came later and was derived from the combination of the French word motocyclette meaning motorcycle and ‘cross-country’. Since the first off-road event in 1924 in Camberly, Surrey motocross has become quite a rage with motorcycling fanatics and this fad continues till date. Motocross racing comprises forty riders who compete on a particular track simultaneously. Usually, a professional race lasts for at least half an hour. However, amateur motocross races are usually only thirty minutes long. The machines used in motocross racing are lighter than regular motorcycles. While motocross championships in the 1950s started with 500cc engines, 250cc engines were introduced in 1957, and the even lighter 125cc category in 1975. The sport of motocross requires extreme grit and physical fitness of the rider. Add to that the thirst for adventure, and you have the perfect motorcycling enthusiast. Racing on uneven surfaces that could entail high jumps and heavy bumps is not everyone’s cup of tea. A motocross rider, therefore, must be willing to face the worst case scenario if he or she wants to race and compete. Since such perils lie ahead of the rider, the gear that he or she must wear is of critical importance. Protective helmet, boots, pants, jersey, knee guards, gloves, chest protectors, and sunglasses form the attire of a motocross rider. A race of motocross generally comprises 2 "motos", each being five to eight laps long. The count of each rider in each moto helps determine the winner. The rider to reach the finish line first scores the highest number of points. Technology has also had strong influence on the sport of motocross. Advances in motorcycling techniques and engines have enhanced racing and the machines being used. While motocross racing began with four-stroke engines, two-stroke ones finally paved the way for more powerful and efficient racing bikes to enter the motocross scenario. Along the years, even more enhanced features such as water-cooling systems and mono-shock absorbers were added, giving motocross an even greater thrust. The sport of motocross gained popularity across Europe, where it had originated, during the 1950s. In the decades to follow it crossed international waters and became one of the best-loved motorcycling sports in the United States as well. Australia and New Zealand are the other countries where motocross is a rage among motorcycling enthusiasts of all ages. This transformation in the sport’s history was also marked by the shift in Belgian, British, Swedish and Czechoslovakian dominance to American positions at the races. Another significant advance in motocross world was the entry of Japanese motorcycle manufacturers into a sphere ruled by European companies so far. All these transformations and enhancements in motocross history have been instrumental in creating a sport that is international in stature and wildly loved throughout the world. If you would like to know more about motocross parts and gears, you should 24MX. They carry a huge selection of parts for motocross and cross.

Chennis Berry was hired as the Assistant Head Coach/Co-Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach at Southern University in 2013. In his two seasons with the program, he has helped guide the Jaguars to two SWAC West titles and the 2013 SWAC Championship. Southern ranked seventh nationally in fewest sacks allowed in 2014 and led the SWAC in Red Zone efficiency. Individually, OL Dewayne Houston and WR Willie Quinn were each named All-Americans and First Team All-SWAC selections while QB Austin Howard was named the conference’s freshman of the year.
In 2013, QB Dray Joseph earned SWAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year honors for his role in leading the Jaguars to their first conference championship since 2003. WR Lee Doss was named an All-American and First Team All-SWAC while OL Anthony Mosley received Second Team All-SWAC honors. Under Berry’s direction, Joseph, Doss and Mosley combined to lead the SWAC in Passing Efficiency and earn a second place conference ranking in Passing Offense. Overall, Berry has 20 years of college coaching experience and has earned an excellent reputation for developing solid offensive lines while orchestrating rushing attacks that lead to record-breaking performances.
Over his career, Berry has also shown a willingness to expand his coaching knowledge. In 2009, he participated in the NCAA Expert Coaches Academy Forum. The program prepares young minority assistant coaches for head coaching positions.
A native of Cleveland, Berry came to Southern following two seasons as the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Howard University. In 2012, the Bison finished second in the MEAC with a 7-4 record which was the program’s first winning season in seven years. The offensive line was key to the Bison’s success as Howard finished 2nd in the MEAC with a 365.4 yards per game average. The Bison also were second in the MEAC in rushing with 221.5 yards per game average. These accomplishments led to four Howard offensive linemen earning All-MEAC honors (Josh Matthews, Davin Morris, Bradley Bush Johnson, and David Wilson). The offensive line also blocked for the MEAC’s leading rusher, Terrence Lefall, who rushed for 1,200 yards in only eight games.
Over the years, pre-workout supplements have changed to keep up with peoples’ evolving demands for energy. So long as human beings struggle to break boundaries, smash records and ignore limits, there will be a need for products that take us to our edge. As we grow, so does our desire for supplements that can help us become better versions of ourselves. For those fighting to be their best every day, being a half-step faster or one rep stronger means all the difference in the world. We looked at the history of pre-workouts and their incredible evolution from black coffee… to the new One More Rep™.
Coffee and Pre-Workout History
If you really want to take pre-workout supplements all the way back to the beginning, the very first pre-workout was coffee. Bodybuilders in the 60s used coffee as a pre-workout due to the beneficial effects of caffeine. Many people today still share the practice of drinking coffee before a workout.
Energy Drinks and Pre-Workout Supplements
In the early 1990s, everyone was looking for energy. The more extreme the better— especially for energy drinks or performance supplements. There was an assortment of different products all designed to pump you up with energy, but most were loaded with sugar and caffeine.
Creatine Given Credit for Major Muscle Gains
When creatine was first popularized in the 1990s, it sparked a whole new level of interest in sports nutrition and pre-workout supplements. Since creatine yielded noticeable results, it rapidly became one of the most popular pre-workout supplements amongst athletes and bodybuilders. The most sought-after creatines — then and now — are blends. Whether the blend features multiple forms of creatine or additional ingredients, they all help to enhance the effect of pulling water into the muscle cell.
The Original 1.M.R™
In 2009, the original 1.M.R™, short for “one more rep”, embodied a philosophy of perseverance in training. To the early adapters, it felt like an insurance policy for your training that guaranteed the best return on your investment of sweat equity. After the birth of 1.M.R™, the phrase “ultra-concentrated” was born, along with an entire generation of athletes turned on to the challenge of pushing the limits of the human body. Wanting more from their workouts, their sport and their lives, athletes at every level rallied behind 1.M.R™. The “one more rep” mantra was 100% in line with this demand… always pushing for more.
The Evolution of Smarter Energy and One More Rep™
Times change, but people still want energy from their pre-workout supplements. Only now, they want energy that lasts and doesn’t result in jitters or a crash. People want natural alternatives to stimulants. They want products that are going to support and sustain their healthy lifestyles, not just their rigorous workout routines.
The all new One More Rep™ is an answer to these demands. This formula stays true to our roots, bringing back the qualities that made people fall in love with 1.M.R™ in the first place, while propelling us into the future by evolving to meet the needs of today’s most discerning athletes. On-trend ingredients work synergistically in the body to provide powerful results and benefits beyond energy.
Beetroot The beet is an antioxidant-rich vegetable that naturally contains nitrates that increase nitric oxide in the body. This may increase muscle pump during exercise, endurance and performance.
Carnitine Carnitine is a fat transporter, increasing the amount of fat cells taken to the mitochondria, where they are burned for energy. This may support weight loss efforts and help boost performance.
Citrulline
Because of citrulline’s ability to support cardiovascular health, it may reduce muscle fatigue and promote endurance. Citrulline may also relieve muscle soreness.
Betaine
Betaine has been studied as a performance enhancing compound. It may support athletic performance and muscle endurance.
In addition to these beneficial ingredients, One More Rep™ contains no artificial colors. The red color of the powder comes from the natural red color of beets! The formula is beta alanine and creatine free, which means you won’t experience the tingles, and it is safe to stack with other supplements. Choose from four delicious flavors: Hurricane Orange, Raspberry Tea, Fruit Punch and Berry Splash.
In this video, cancer researcher Ty Bollinger speaks with Dr. Patrick Quillin about the astounding anti-cancer benefits of Cannabis.
The health benefits of cannabis have been documented for thousands of years. The question does marijuana cause cancer has been around for a long time and the answer is, there is no link between marijuana and cancer. Not only is cannabis safe, it also helps protect your body from cancer.
Cannabis is an industrial material with uses ranging from clothing to making paper. A study done by UCLA proved how cannabis kills cancer cells which makes one wonder, what’s the issue with cannabis legalization?
Luckily, over the past few years we’ve seen an uptick of states allowing medical marijuana doctors and medical marijuana cards to help those suffering from chronic disease along with being able to use cannabis oil to cure cancer.
This subject along with many others was talked about in The Truth About Cancer, “A Global Quest” with Ty Bollinger and discussed in detail about how cannabidiol kills cancer.

When you are applying for a position in a police unit such as the FBI, DEA, Police or juvenile justice centers, the need for a degree in criminal justice is obvious. It is also worthwhile studying a criminal justice degree just to have a background in criminal justice before enrolling on a degree in law school. Receiving a criminal justice degree would give a person a deeper understanding of the law with regards to criminal justice, forensic experts, and the justice system that is necessary when working in real life. Criminal justice is one of the fields of study that you may have to do to enter a police force. While it is not a prerequisite, it would be a great benefit to have a background in this and would definitely put you above your competitors.
One advantage of a Criminal Justice degree is you get a comprehensive understanding of criminal law, public order, crime and the social system. The course will develop your logical reasoning skills, communication skills and problem-solving skills. It will also encourage students to comprehend and appreciate the justice of a country as a complex system. Several colleges and universities offer criminal justice degrees and it is possible to study from home via the internet. If you want to have a flexible schedule you might consider this method of learning because online degrees are often flexible both in terms of the number of years of study and when you choose to study. Specializations are also available online and there is a great range of courses from International Criminal Justice to Comparative Criminal Justice. It may be worth finding out whether you can study part-time whilst at the same time, entering employment somewhere in the criminal justice system in order to gain experience that would prove vital once you’ve completed your course and are looking for your first career move. You can find a variety of online degrees offered by a wide range of institutions and they are accessible at most levels. Options to become a bit more specialized include the chance to train to become a Crime Scene Technician or Correctional Officer as well as studying a Private Security Certificate. Associate degrees often require two years of criminal investigation focused on technical skills in the police. A degree in criminal justice can be spread over a period of four years and the end can be an entry-level position in the judicial system or federal agencies. Master’s degrees are also offered for those often seeking a higher role in their field. Whatever criminal justice degree you want to enroll upon, it is often better to research all your options and find out about as many courses as possible. Following this you will be equipped with the knowledge of the actual degree programs, as well as any costs and timings. Plus, you’ll be sure that you have the best course for you which should be the main focus of your research.
t's easy to fit in and do what everybody else is doing, to go where everybody else goes, to think like everyone else thinks. Our neighbors complain, so we complain. Our coworkers show up late, so we show up late. Our relatives have addictions, so we have addictions. It's common. It's normal. But God did not create you to be common. He didn't breathe His life into you so you can do what everybody else does. You were created to be uncommon, to live by a higher standard, to do what others are not willing to do, to believe for things that others think are too big.
Everybody may complain at work, but that's not you. You're uncommon. Instead of joining in, you find something to be grateful for. You're uncommon. People around you think they've reached their limits and are just going through the motions of life. You're passionate about your future and know that the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter. You're uncommon. Everyone around you may be compromising, running around on their spouses and being dishonest in business. You're a person of integrity. You do the right thing when no one is looking, and you keep your word even when it costs you something. Other people don't understand you, but you live by a higher standard. You're uncommon.
Complainers and compromisers are a dime a dozen. They're common. But God is looking for uncommon people. People who have uncommon faith, who believe for things that seem impossible. People who have uncommon commitment, who do the right thing when it's hard. People who have an uncommon attitude that's positive when everyone else is negative, discouraged, moody and critical. God rewards the uncommon with uncommon favor, uncommon strength, uncommon friendships and uncommon increase.
The apostle Paul says, "Don't let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold" (Romans 12:2). There's a constant pressure trying to squeeze you into being common, into doing what everyone else is doing. Don't let that thinking rub off on you. If they want to be common, that's their choice. But that's not who you are. You are uncommon. Stand out in the crowd. Do the right thing when the boss is not around. Do more than required. Set a new standard. People around you may be giving in to temptation, doing things you know are not the best. That's the enemy trying to deceive you into being common. He knows that if you're like everyone else, it will keep you from becoming all you were created to be. Don't fall into that trap. Be uncommon. Live by a higher standard.

Physical Office Location is The Better Marketing Strategy
By: Emily Anne
As a freelancer, I’ve considered the pros and cons of working from home vs. having a physical office location on many occasions. There are many obvious benefits to working at home versus going into work. Come to find, there are also many benefits to having a physical location, even for small businesses. Here are a few key factors that show how having a physical office location is a better marketing strategy:
[Address]. Having a business address can actually play a huge role in the online visibility of your business. Local businesses with a physical location tend to show up more prominently online than businesses without. As we well know, we are in the technological decade where everything is right at the tip of our fingers. If we don’t know an answer to a question, we immediately search online for it. This is exactly what we do when it comes to business services. If an address can improve your online visibility, it’s definitely something worth checking into.
[Innovation]. While people feel innovated at different times and in different ways, it is a fact that sharing ideas can make people even more innovative. If you’re working at home and not regularly communicating with your other employees or partners, it will be difficult to bring in the innovative aspect a physical workplace does. While we have video chat features such as Skype, it isn’t the same as face-to-face collaborative brainstorming.
[Focus]. This one is one of the most obvious ones to me. As a freelancer working from home, I realized how difficult it could be to stay attentive in my workload on certain days. There are so many opportunities for distraction when working from home, that it can be hard to even get focused. The nice thing about having an office is that you’re very attentive on your workload once you’re in the office.
[Consistent Schedule]. I noticed that my schedule was never consistent when I first started freelancing. There would be days that I would sleep in until noon and wouldn’t start work for hours after waking up. I would then stay up late and ruin the opportunity for an early rise the next day. Having an office rental gives you a set schedule, while still giving you the freedom to come into the office the days you choose.
[Psychological Benefits]. Bevmax Office Centers wrote an article that I found very interesting. In the article, they discuss the benefits of freelancers renting an office. One of the reasons listed was psychological benefits. They state that getting out of the office can become a rare occurrence for some freelancers. I know from experience, that this is actually very true. When I started taking on more clients, I noticed that I didn’t set the proper schedule for myself to have much of a social life. I was constantly fighting deadlines and working into the late evenings. Going out to an office gives you the opportunity to get out of the house, have social interacts with passerbys, and also gives you the networking opportunity by being surrounded by other business offices.
While working from home is also important for freelancers. It’s important to consider office rentals for important team meetings and/or conferences. Getting the team together in-person can have phenomenal benefits on the overall organization. If you’re an entrepreneur who isn’t at the stage of team meetings, it’s equally important to consider a virtual office that has a physical address. Office rental agencies, such as Bevmax, offer many perks for their virtual office packages. Having a designated mailing address and a fax service is definitely one of those many reasons.
