BOWIE STATE ROUTS LINCOLN (PA) LIONS 45-9

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Bowie State spoiled the Homecoming for Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, routing the Lions 45-9. The victory snaps a Bowie State two-game slide and improves the Bulldogs record to 5-4 overall (2-4 CIAA).

Senior Tyrae Reid, Jr. completed 16-of-28 passes for a team-high 238 yards and two touchdowns. Senior Douglas McNeil, III led the Bulldogs receivers with a game-high 112 yards on four catches and redshirt freshman James Brown added 43 reception yards on four catches. Junior transfer Corwin Acker led the Bulldogs on the ground with 74 rushing yards (six carries) and a touchdown. Defensively, the Bulldogs were led by redshirt freshman Curtis Pumphrey with nine total tackles, one interception and three pass breakups.

Lincoln quarterback Doug Cook threw for a game-high 276 yards, completing 24-of-49 passes and one touchdown. Cook was intercepted twice and sacked twice in the loss. Matt Coston hauled in nine passes for a team-high 109 yards.

Bowie State scored the games’ first points of the afternoon, when redshirt sophomore Mario Diaz-Aviles booted a 29 yard field goal at the 3:26 mark of the first quarter for a 3-0 Bulldogs lead. Lincoln used a 7-play, 72 yard drive to tie the game at 3-3 on a 22-yard field goal by Kyle Jaski with 47 seconds left in the opening period.

With 13:36 left in the second quarter, Bowie State senior Ridwan Cole caught a screen pass from Reid an ran 22 yards down the Bulldogs sideline for a touchdown. Diaz-Aviles added the extra point for a 10-3 lead. Pumphrey returned a Lincoln punt 68 yards to push the Bulldogs lead to 17-3. The Bulldogs increased the lead to 24-3 on a 1-yard touchdown run by senior Ramono Flowers.

Lincoln’s Doug Cook connected with Kester Lewis on a 15 yards pass and catch with one second remaining in the first half, trimming the Lions deficit to 24-9.

Lincoln (1-8, 1-5 CIAA) fumbled the opening kickoff of the second half and promptly took advantage of the Lions miscue with BSU’s Acker rumbling 33 yards to paydirt. Diaz-Aviles added the extra point, extending the Bowie State lead to 31-9 at the 14:06 mark of the third quarter.

The Bulldogs defense comes through again on Lincoln’s very next possession, as junior Quentin Walker picked off a Cook pass and returned it for a 19 yard Bowie State touchdown, giving the visitors a 38-9 stronghold.

Reid found a streaking McNeil for a 48 touchdown to end the third quarter, padding the Bulldogs lead at 45-9.

The Bulldogs will close out the 2012 season next Saturday (November 3), hosting the Elizabeth City State University Vikings. Prior to Saturday’s 1 pm kickoff, 12 Bowie State senior football seniors will be recognized in a special pregame presentation.

Anderson knocked down five kills in the three set setback and added two service aces, six digs and one solo block.

The Lady Bulldogs return to the court Thursday (November 1st), hosting a doubleheader non-conference match versus Washington Adventist University. First serve for match one is set for 6 pm and the second match will get underway at approximately 8 pm.

BOWIE STATE GAINS RESPECT IN 76-72 EXHIBITION LOSS AT GEORGE MASON

BOWIE STATE GAINS RESPECT IN 76-72 EXHIBITION LOSS AT GEORGE MASON

FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason men's basketball team saw five players score in double figures as the Patriots outlasted a pesky Bowie State squad, 76-72, in exhibition action Thursday night at the Patriot Center. Bowie State senior Byron Westmorland accounted for 30 points for the Bulldogs, who are picked to win the CIAA Northern Division title. Senior Dameatric Scott scored 18 points and fellow senior Najee White added a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds.

“We played very hard, I thought we defended well and I’m really pleased with our rebounding”, said Bowie State head coach Darrell Brooks after the game. “The thing we have to get better at is taking care of the basketball ... The guys are still learning each other and the season is just beginning”.

Marko Gujanicic led the way for the Patriots with a team-high 16 points. Adding to the Patriot offense was Erik Copes who had 13 points, while Vertrail Vaughns contributed 12, Anali Okoloji had 11 and Jonathan Arledge scored 10.

Mason had offensive struggles early, connecting on just one of their first nine field goal attempts, a layup by Copes. The Patriots would trail the Bulldogs for more than six minutes of the contest, until a Vaughns fast break layup tied the score at five. It was part of a 9-2 run that gave the Patriots a 12-7 advantage less than midway through the first half. That lead held up until the 10-minute mark when Westmorland's 3-pointer put the Bulldogs up 16-14.

The Patriots though, would take the lead back as the first half clock winded down. Mason used a 14-0 run spanning more than three minutes to take a 36-29 lead with less than 30 seconds to go. Westmorland hit a 3-pointer in to stop the run, but Johnny Williams answered with a trey of his own as the horn sounded to set the halftime score of 39-32.

Gujanicic led the Patriots with 12 points in the first half on 6-of-8 shooting, while Westmorland had 17 to lead all scorers. The Patriots shook off a rough start from the field to shoot 48.5 percent in the first half (16-33), compared to a 48 percent mark for the Bulldogs (12-25). Bowie State won the rebounding battle by a 17-16 margin, but committed 16 turnovers to just eight for Mason.

Bowie State pulled within a possession at 48-46 with a 7-0 run, nearly erasing the Patriots halftime advantage six and a half minutes into the period. The Bulldogs inched closer, regaining the lead at 51-49 on a Scott 3-pointer at the 12:36 mark. Arledge knocked down a jumper just beyond the stripe to tie the score, and a Okoloji layup would make the score 53-51 Patriots.
The Patriots opened up a lead as large as six from then on, but again the Bulldogs countered, tying the score at 64 with just over five minutes left in the contest. The Patriots would not trail again in the game, using a 12-4 run to open a 76-68 advantage after an Okoloji layup with 1:26 left.

For the game, the Bulldogs shot 53.2 percent compared to a 50 percent mark for the Patriots, but committed 27 turnovers to the Patriots 19. Mason also won the rebounding battle by a 33-32 margin. “The negative things that we come away with in this game are all correctable, teachable errors”, said Brooks.

The Bulldogs open the season Saturday, November 10 at Shepherd University in the opening game of the Clarion Hotel Classic. Tip-off against the Rams is scheduled for 7 pm.

Is this cough medicine the best cancer drug ever?

Cancer Defeated Publications

Cough Suppressant Now
a Proven Cancer Remedy

Could it be possible that a heavy-hitting cancer cure is right under our noses — available over the counter?

    So it would seem.

It's called noscapine. No matter how you look at it, this naturally-occurring compound that comes from poppy flowers appears to be a winner. It's backed by solid science and has virtually no side effects. A researcher who participated in one of the studies said noscapine could be the most effective tumor-suppressant ever. Keep reading for more about this overlooked wonder.

Continued below. . .

Avoid the 7 Danger Signs of a Toxic Liver
There are 7 danger signs that could be your body's way of telling you that you have a toxic liver.

The scary thing is these signs could easily be mistaken for other, less common health problems.

Here are the 7 Danger Signs of a Toxic Liver

And if you've never given this three-pound organ much thought, there's something you must know:

Your liver is the 'missing link' to feeling younger and stronger!

If you're experiencing even one of these 7 danger signs, your liver could be full of harmful toxins.

To find out more about these 7 danger signs and how to help protect your liver, watch this free special presentation right now.

Noscapine has been used for years in over-the-counter cough medicines. But taken in high doses, it becomes a near-perfect cancer treatment — operating almost like chemotherapy, but without all the consequences.
The long road to "getting discovered" as a cancer treatment
The best source of noscapine is opium-producing poppy plants, but it can also be found in tomatoes and cabbage leaves. First discovered back in 1817, it's a compound with a colorful history. Originally (in the late 1800s) noscapine was used to treat malaria — though it wasn't very effective. Then in the 1930s, researchers realized noscapine had anti-cough properties. By 1958, it was used worldwide as a cough suppressant.

About that time, the National Cancer Institute ran some cell culture studies and realized noscapine had cancer-killing properties. But the substance was already patented as a cough suppressant, so further studies on anti-cancer benefits were dropped. Sponsoring drug companies didn't want to bother since they had no way to make a profit. The patent would run out before they could satisfy the FDA that noscapine is an effective cancer medicine.

This is hard to believe, but it's true. If you wonder why the health care system is so dysfunctional, look no further.

Fast-forward to 1997, when a grad student at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia — Keqiang Ye — rediscovered that noscapine kills cancer.

Emory scientists jumped on it and studied the effect of noscapine on human breast cancer tumors transplanted into animals. Results showed 80-percent tumor reduction in as little as three weeks, and with no obvious toxicity to vital organs. Immune systems in the animals also stayed functional, in direct contrast to the immune-suppressing effects of chemotherapy.

More studies followed, including one where noscapine was proven effective against malignant melanomas and certain kinds of brain cancer.

It was also confirmed that high, daily doses of noscapine were not only non-toxic, but that side-effects in humans were rare. One patient out of five would experience only mild side effects, like nausea and stomachache. I should add that noscapine users occasionally abuse the product, because a high dose is intoxicating. After all, it's an opium derivative.

Following the slew of promising studies, Emory scientists worked with scientists from the University of Delhi, in India, to chemically modify noscapine so they could get it patented and on the market as a cancer treatment.

By 2004, they had a new agent (but with the same anti-cancer properties). It was patented, and from there Emory gave Cougar Biotechnology of California the go-ahead to make a commercial version. In July 2009, Cougar Biotechnology was acquired by Johnson & Johnson as a wholly-owned subsidiary, but still manages preclinical trials of noscapine.

In other words, it's not FDA-approved yet as a cancer remedy, but many cancer patients are taking advantage of it anyway, since it's available over the counter.

I don’t personally know any patients who have tried it nor do I know what’s considered a therapeutic dose. Because it’s an opium product and may have the potential to be addictive, I can’t recommend noscapine for unsupervised home use until I have more information. It’s an exciting development, but still new and experimental.

In May we sent members of our "platinum club," the Alternative Cancer Research Institute, the first breaking news we had about noscapine. ACRI is dedicated to gathering every single alternative cancer remedy on earth into one place. We have more than 350 so far.

In spite of that enormous number of treatments, we keep coming across new ones, or important new information about treatments we already list. So twice a month ACRI members receive breaking news about a new cancer treatment.

PLUS when you join we send you a free 460-page soft cover book with all the treatments. The book is called the Complete Guide to Alternative Cancer Treatments. And it has a better claim to that boastful title than any other book on earth. We've shown it to research scientists who were in awe when they saw all the cancer treatments we've been able to gather.

If you'd like to learn more about ACRI, just click here.

Meanwhile, getting back to noscapine. . .
Three-fold anti-cancer properties
The anti-cancer potential of noscapine is impressive. For starters, it has powerful cell-killing abilities, meaning it can stop cell division. As a result, cancer cells can't replicate and spread.

Noscapine also stops angiogenesis — the formation of new tumor vessels that feed tumors. Inhibiting angiogenesis is a major goal of any cancer treatment. Noscapine can do this thanks to its ability to inhibit HIF-1 alpha. For science buffs, HIF-1 alpha is a transcription factor that supports VEGF, or vascular endothelial growth factor, which stimulates the growth of new blood vessels.

A third major benefit to this natural compound is that it inhibits bradykinin, which is a powerful cancer growth factor. Some studies show that agents with the ability to inhibit bradykinin are more effective than chemotherapy drugs at halting cancer cell growth.

As a result of these anti-cancer abilities, some doctors already use noscapine to treat the following cancers: breast, prostate, lung, ovarian, brain, and lymphomas.

Beyond that, the research continues to impress. In 2010, Current Drug Targets published a study that showed noscapine not only inhibited the growth and spread of leukemia cells, but also made them more vulnerable to chemotherapeutic agents.

Then last February, Medical Research published the results of a study that proved noscapine significantly induced apoptosis, or natural cell death, of Mg-63 tumor cells (found in osteosarcoma, a common type of bone tumor). It was one of the researchers involved in this study who said noscapine could be the most effective tumor-suppressant ever discovered.

There's even a doctor in San Diego — Dr. Israel Barken — known to treat his prostate cancer patients with noscapine. Dr. Barken posted study results on his website that showed noscapine curbed prostate cancer tumor volume in mice by significant amounts.
But here's what we're waiting on…
Now that the healing properties of noscapine are more well-known, cancer patients are using it to treat themselves. You can get it over the counter in most countries, and that includes the U.S. and Canada. In addition, we're seeing more and more reports of noscapine working where chemotherapy or conventional drugs fail.

Development is something of an issue, since producing noscapine can be labor-intensive (it requires the cutting open of individual poppy seed capsules). But a new study published online in Science last May shows promise for synthesizing noscapine to make production faster and easier.

So the future looks bright for this treatment. It's widely available, relatively cheap, has a good safety record, works synergistically with other drugs, and has low toxicity. Plus, more and more studies are confirming the pros of this promising natural substance.

Where we go next depends largely on the results of future studies and whether the medical community will embrace it as a standard cancer treatment.

Viruses are a major cause of cancer

Viruses Can Cause Cancer?

Yes, and they even
form alliances to do it!
Are you secretly harboring these twin viruses that can get together and give you cancer?

The viruses depend in part on actions you take to get them started, usually years before you're even close to a cancer diagnosis or show a single symptom. And years before most people are even thinking about cancer.

Are you at risk? The short answer is "yes," because about 90 percent of us carry these viruses. So what do you need in order to escape the damage of this unholy alliance and stay cancer free?

Read on to find out what these viruses do, how they act together, steps you can take to defeat them, and whether the well-hyped mainstream "solution" is good for anything...

Sensational New Dimensions To The Candida Story
Everyone has heard about the mystery organism "Candida". But the "Candida" hype is from sources about 30 years out of date. Dr. Keith Scott-Mumby MD pointed out the many other possible causative organisms as long ago as 1992. The truth is, there are dozens of potential culprits.

You are about to learn the unfolding of the full story of this bizarre and mysterious syndrome from one of the top holistic MD writers of our time. The hot new science that has emerged in the last 2-3 years is totally different and has vastly more impact than we ever thought or imagined.

The truth is, what we used to call dysbiosis has become the number one health hazard of our modern world. It's something that threatens our very DNA; it's truly THE disease of the 21st century.

Found in more than 50% of prostate cancers,
but ladies, don't tune out yet...
Recently published research revealed that both the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and Epstein Barr virus (EBV) were present in more than half of all malignant prostate cancers — as well as in a large number of benign cases.

This research was performed at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia, and was published in the journal, The Prostate. Associate Professor Noel Whitaker and Professor James Lawson were the study leads.

Professor Whitaker notes that other recent unpublished experimental research suggests that HPV and EBV team up to promote both the survival and growth of cancer cells.

In about 70 out of the 100 prostate cancer samples they looked at, a high-risk strain of HPV called HPV 18 was present. Both HPV and EBV together were seen in 55 percent of cases.

It was already known that HPV is often present in prostate cancer, but this is one of the few studies to confirm the presence of both cancer-causing HPV and EBV in the same cancer tissues.

As you probably know, almost all cervical cancers are caused by HPV infections. And just two HPV viruses are responsible for about 70 percent of all cases. But few people are aware HPV may figure in prostate cancer, too.

What's more, HPV is also linked to 85 percent of all anal cancers.

Earlier research by Professor Whitaker's team found that HPV is present in about 40% of all breast cancer as well.

Professor Whitaker says, "I should caution that their presence is not conclusive of a role in prostate cancer. But given their well-established track record with other cancers, it would seem quite unlikely that they are harmless."

No kidding. But there's still more. . .
The twin viruses can hit males and females
with these cancer types…
HPV is linked to cancer of the oropharynx — which is the middle part of the throat, including the soft palate, the base of the tongue, and the tonsils. In the U.S., more than half of oropharynx cancers are linked to the HPV virus — which has spiked during the past 20 years especially in men — with no real end in sight.

Meanwhile, the other culprit — Epstein Barr virus -- is also linked to head and neck cancers, lymphomas (cancer of the lymph nodes), nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and gastric cancer. How can these two viruses be implicated in so many cancers?

Viruses are known to play many tricks in their effort to gain control over their host cells — and to re-program them to their own advantage.

The fact that nearly everyone carries EBV virus in their systems shows just how "successful" EBV is as a human virus. It's one of the few known viruses that can cause cancer in humans under certain conditions.

A research team in Germany was able to show how the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) exploits the signaling proteins of its host cell — the ones that normally program cell death (apoptosis) — and convert the healthy cell into a cancer cell. It's characteristic of cancer cells that they do NOT experience natural cell death the way healthy cells do. One of the main reasons may be reprogramming by EBV — and -- who knows? -- by other viruses yet to be identified.

The EBV has created a unique molecular way to get rid of the "undesired" property that causes a cell to die naturally -- in order to adapt the cell to its own needs.1 Both the host cells and the Epstein Barr virus within become "immortal."
How high-risk HPVs cause cancer
HPVs infect epithelial cells. These cells cover the inside and outside surfaces of your body, including your skin, throat, genital tract, and anus. They are not thought to enter your bloodstream, meaning that an infection in one area doesn't necessarily lead to infection elsewhere.

Once HPV enters the epithelial cell, it goes to work making proteins.

Two of the proteins it makes interfere with normal cellular function, allow the cells to grow uncontrolled, and help them dodge apoptosis or cell death.

Often these infected cells are tracked down by your immune system and destroyed. Sometimes they escape detection and cause a persistent infection. As these infected cells begin to reproduce, they can develop mutations that promote even more cell growth… leading to a high-grade lesion and ultimately a tumor.

Scientists believe it takes 10 to 20 years from the time of an initial HPV infection till tumor formation. However, less than 50 percent of high-grade cervical lesions everprogress to invasive cervical cancer.
How risky is HPV, really?
    That all depends...

Some types of sexually transmitted HPVs can cause genital warts. Other types — called high risk or oncogenic HPVs — can cause cancer. At least a dozen high-risk HPV types have been identified, with type 16 and 18 contributing to the majority of HPV-caused cancer.2

High-risk HPVs cause nearly all cervical and anal cancers, plus some vaginal, vulvar, penile, and oropharyngeal cancers.

However, most infections with oncogenic HPVs never result in cancer — but clear up on their own within one to two years. Most likely, a healthy immune system can fight them off, while a weak or compromised immune system leads to cancer.

It is only the HPV infections that last for many years which increase a person's cancer risk. (And realistically, you should probably be concerned about ANY infection which extends for years!)
Cancer-preventing advice: Keep your pants on
HPV is largely preventable through lifestyle choices. It is spread through skin-to-skin, oral, anal or genital contact with others. So a long-term monogamous relationship with an uninfected partner is the strategy most likely to prevent infection.

If I can get on my soapbox for a moment, the idea that "guiltless" sex with multiple partners can EVER be safe is pure nonsense. There exists no more efficient, effective way to spread disease than sexual contact. Besides HPV, the list of sexually transmitted diseases includes syphilis, gonorrhea, AIDS, hepatitis, chlamydia and herpes. That list is by no means complete - those are just the more serious diseases.

People think medicine has an answer to everything. It doesn't. It's a shame that "sexual liberation" has come to be considered the norm — supposedly made possible and safe by the inventions of the pharmaceutical industry, such as the birth control pill and antibiotics. Meanwhile monogamy and fidelity are considered weird, cultish behavior advocated only by religious nuts.

Even an atheist who's rigorously honest should be able to figure out that promiscuous sex is self-destructive behavior. You don't have to believe in God to believe in monogamy.

Meanwhile, getting back to HPV, the lack of symptoms makes it hard to know whether a partner who has been sexually active in the past is now infected with HPV.

Mainstream medicine is quick to point out that you should absolutely get a vaccine to prevent HPV. Stand by for the other side of that story…
Which of the other risk factors
for the "twin viruses" do you have?
The Karolinska Institute in Stockholm points out from their research that sexual promiscuity is a major risk factor in becoming infected with the HPV. It has long been linked to cervical cancer in women, but researchers now think they have an explanation for the recent spike in prostate cancer.

They suggest that once young men are exposed to HPV it starts a chain reaction of genetic mutations that can lead to cancer decades later.

The Swedish study involved 500 men. They found higher levels of antibodies to HPV among those who had the highest number of sexual partners.

Tim Oliver, professor of Medical Oncology at St. Bartholomew's and The Royal London Hospital School of Medicine, believes that the increased levels of unprotected sex which began when "The Pill" was introduced in the 1960s may account in part for the current rise in prostate cancers.

Other factors that may increase your HPV-related cancer risks include:
  • Smoking -- Scientists think the carcinogen benzo[a]pyrene (BaP) found in cigarette smoke interacts with HPV to increase cancer risk up to 10-fold.3 And that most of the HPV cases that progress to cancer are linked to smoking.
  • Weakened immune system
  • Long term oral contraceptive use (linked to cervical cancer)
  • Having many children (linked to cervical cancer)
  • Poor oral hygiene (linked to oropharyngeal cancer)
  • Chronic inflammation
Hindsight is 20:20 —
So what's a person to do now?
Your healthy immune system is your next best defense against HPV and EBV.

The Centers for Disease Control even say that in 90% of all cases, your immune system clears HPV naturally within two years.

But this isn't necessarily the case for the other deadly virus, EBV. So you should give your immune system all the help you can!

Clearing these viruses does not mean they go away. It just means your immune system is powerful enough to keep them from causing disease.

The viruses are on to this, too. They embed themselves into one of your organs as a "latent infection". It behaves as if it's asleep. You would consider it dormant.

If your immune system is weakened, it allows the HPV and EBV to "wake up" again. That's when they can become really dangerous.
Certain nutrients can help…
As a general rule, the B vitamins promote cellular metabolism and energy production which can help provide the high levels of energy needed to fight off infections.

Vitamin B12 may help destroy HPV and may even prevent cervical cancer by disrupting viral replication. A 2002 study showed that women with the highest circulating B12 levels were least likely to develop a persistent HPV infection. They therefore concluded that higher levels of B12 in your blood might help prevent cervical cancer.

Vitamin D is also supportive of your immune system.4 A 2010 study published in Nature Immunology found that vitamin D activates killer T cells so they can detect and get rid of invading pathogens. Killer T cells are produced in your thymus gland and could help eliminate HPV viruses.

In addition, the Vitamin D Council found that vitamin D levels above 40 ng/mL may reduce the risk of cervical cancer. Multiple studies show a connection between low sunlight exposure and cervical cancer risk.

As for men… laboratory and epidemiological studies suggest that vitamin D may reduce your risk of developing prostate cancer and may be a key to better outcomes for those who have it.

What's more… they found that men born in sun-drenched areas of the U.S. are roughly half as likely to develop prostate cancer later in life as those in the north.

One U.S. study and two Chinese studies agreed. They found a reduced cancer risk and reduced mortality due to Ultraviolet B exposure, which you can get from being in the sun. A Japanese study found a lower rate of invasive cervical cancer with higher vitamin D rates — except in smokers. (Smoking reduces your vitamin D levels.)5

In addition, vitamins C, B6 and folic acid also stimulate your immune system and may help you alleviate symptoms of HPV.6 Herbal remedies to consider may include Echinacea, amaranth, chaparral, olive leaf extract, astragalus, garlic, and tea tree oil.7
So, what about medicine's "big answer" to HPV?
A word of caution about mainstream medicine's "terrific" solution…

You really should know the back-story before consenting to this for yourself or a loved one.

The HPV vaccine only protects against two strains of cancer-causing HPV. Yet there are about 15 strains known to cause cancer if an infection persists. Currently no one knows whether this vaccine will have any impact on cervical cancer rates in the future. So erring on the side of caution and knowing your risks prior to injecting foreign stuff into your body would make sense. Right?

The fact is, Gardasil (one of the HPV vaccines) has been riddled with dangerous and life-threatening side effects. If there were any regard for science, neither Gardasil nor Cervarix would be hyped the way they are.

Many side effects have been reported to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS), which is jointly operated by the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

As of mid-August 2012, Gardasil has been linked to 122 reports of death… and as of July 2012, there were also 891 reports of disability, and 509 life-threatening adverse events.

There are also now increasing numbers of reports of cervical abnormalities and cancer four to five years following vaccination.

Other side effects reported to VAERS include the following:
  • Paralysis
  • Bell's palsy
  • Guillain-Barre Syndrome
  • Seizures
  • Speech problems
  • Ovarian cysts
  • Miscarriages and fetal abnormalities
  • Blood clots and heart problems
  • Pancreatitis
  • Blindness
  • Cardiac arrest and sudden death
Yet this vaccine is now recommended by the U.S. government as a routine vaccination for girls and women ages 9 to 26, and for boys and young men ages 11 to 21.
Don't count on them to alert you of risks!
Disturbingly, if you go to the Gardasil web site, it completely omits mention of death or other serious events as side effects of the vaccine. And WebMD has the gall to say there are NO reported side effects from this vaccine. (Apparently they haven't visited the VAERS information.)

There is no evidence this vaccine even offers any long term protection. And too many highly speculative assumptions are being made that may not be at all accurate, including the assumption of life-long protection.

In fact, a Gardasil whistle-blower who participated in the Phase 2 and 3 trials suggests the vaccine is ineffective past 5 years.

I would be unwilling to take these kinds of risks for a vaccine that won't last anywhere near the decades needed for anti-cancer protection.

Is This Famous Cancer "Miracle" a Dud?
What can make your breath smell better… bleach wood pulp… disinfect drinking water… and clobber cancer cells too?

That sounds like a tall order for ANYTHING to accomplish! But many folks are convinced that the compound chlorine dioxide can do all this—and even MORE!

This chemical compound is made of one chlorine ion bound to two ions of oxygen. It has a type of magnetism that helps it snatch electrons away from harmful pathogens.

Doing so causes a type of mini explosion that knocks the snuff out of viruses, toxins, parasites and other things that can harm your health.

But the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) puts a different spin on chlorine dioxide—particularly when it's sold as a product called Miracle Mineral Solution (MMS).

    Here's what they say…

The Alzheimer's Answer no one is talking about!
It's been called a "diabetes darling," touted as a natural "cholesterol buster," and can even help bust up inflammation.

But one M.D. thinks we're missing the point entirely...

This could be the Alzheimer's Answer of a lifetime--and no one's talking about it!

Imagine--the key to protecting your memory and putting your fears to rest could be right in front of you.

Today, America's leading natural authority is standing up and speaking out. And now you can discover his revelation in this groundbreaking presentation .

By no means should you drink BLEACH—
unless WE give it to you!
The FDA issued warnings in both July and October 2010 warning folks to steer clear of MMS products being sold by independent distributors on websites and online auctions.

According to the government agency, if you prepare the product as directed it produces "industrial strength bleach."

They also warn that some people experienced nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and symptoms of severe dehydration after taking the product. Is it really as bad as they say? Or is this just the FDA up to its usual tricks?
Their recommendations were: 1) DON'T purchase the product or 2) throw out any you may have. I've heard mixed reports about this remedy myself and I don't recommend it.

I can't deny a lot of people say it works, not only for cancer but for other diseases. But I think you've got better anti-cancer choices. Because this remedy gets so much press, I get letters about it. So let's take a look. . .

Chlorine dioxide is commonly used in many different ways — it just comes down to how strong the solution is.
Chlorine dioxide has been used to treat and purify public water sources around the world since the 1940s.
For example, the water treatment plant in Niagara Falls, New York first used chlorine dioxide in 1944 to treat its drinking water.

And officials in Brussels, Belgium approved the use of the compound for disinfecting its public drinking water supplies in 1956.

The level found in your drinking water is too low to make you sick, although drinking chlorinated water over the long term may be linked to bladder cancer, according to some sources.

The substance is used for other purposes. . .

Chlorine dioxide has been a staple antiseptic and pathogen killer in the medical profession for more than 100 years.

What's more, the compound and its chlorite ion were used to decontaminate public buildings following the 2001 release of anthrax spores in the United States.

People also used it to scrub mold from Louisiana homes flooded by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Chlorine dioxide kills microbes. That's why it's used in all these applications. To be less, polite — it's a poison. I'm not surprised it makes people sick (as the inventor admits it sometimes does).
The man behind the MMS 'miracle'…
The product that raises the FDA's hackles was created by a retired miner named Jim Humble.

He accidentally discovered the health benefits of chlorine dioxide while helping a friend complete a gold mining expedition in South Africa.

Some of the miners began to experience headaches… aching muscles and joints… nausea… diarrhea… and vomiting. They also suffered with chills and high fevers—all symptoms of malaria.

When Humble gave the sick miners some of the stabilized oxygen he'd brought to purify his drinking water—everyone was amazed to see improvements within an hour after they took it!

Humble discovered that trace amounts of chlorine dioxide and its chlorite ion were the magic bullet that helped the miners recover their health.

His MMS formula contains 28% of the sodium chlorite ion in distilled water. The solution changes to chlorine dioxide when you add an "activator" of lemon juice, vinegar or citric acid.

In his book The Miracle Mineral Solution of the 21st Century, Jim Humble states that MMS "is not meant for treatment of any particular disease; rather it is meant to improve the immune system to the point of overcoming many diseases, frequently in less than 24 hours."

Over the years, Humble used his sodium chlorite solution to help people in Africa who were plagued with malaria, hepatitis, AIDS—and cancer. He also made it available to a larger market through Internet sales.

And naturally that has made him a target of the mainstream medical establishment. This is a case where I don't have enough information to say, one way or another.

Like every alternative cancer remedy, this one has its fans. Many people believe Humble's assertion that MMS can power up your immune system and be an effective protection against almost any type of cancer.

As for the nausea and vomiting the FDA reports as possible side effects of taking MMS—Humble acknowledges this may occur.

He said this is often the way your body reacts when purging itself of toxins and other harmful substances. It can also happen if a person ingests too many drops of MMS at one time.

His suggestion is to drink a glass of cold water to help ease the nausea. You could also add EITHER 1000 to 5000 mg of vitamin C, OR a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda.

If you're curious about the benefits of MMS, you'll find a free chapter from Humble's book at

VIRGINIA UNION HANDS BOWIE STATE A 37-13 SETBACK

(Sponsor US Sports Network)

RICHMOND, Va. – Virginia Union University used a 16 point second quarter to gain all the momentum needed and rolled to a 37-13 victory over Bowie State University. The win improves Virginia Union’s record to 4-4 overall (2-3 CIAA) but drops Bowie State’s record to 4-4 overall (2-3 CIAA).

Redshirt quarterback Jared Johnston led the Bowie State offense with 98 passing yards, completing 9-of-19 passes (one interception) before being pulled in the third quarter. Redshirt sophomore Keith Brown was Bowie State’s top rusher with 68 yards on 18 carries and junior Corwin Acker added 60 rushing yards on 12 carries. Redshirt junior Delante White paced the Bulldogs defense with eight tackles in the loss. Another bright spot for Bowie State was the play of junior Anthony Gary who recorded two interceptions, two pass breakups and collected five tackles.

The Bowie State defense surrendered 250 total yards in the first half, but only allowed Virginia Union 71 total yards in the second half.

“We had the ball in red zone several times off defensive turnovers but were unable to take advantage of the opportunities”, said Bowie State head coach Damon Wilson.

Virginia Union was led offensively by quarterback Kenneth Graham with 112 passing yards, completing 13-of-30 but was intercepted three times. Jerrell Washington led the Panthers in rushing with 73 yards on 19 carries. The Panthers defense was led by Obi Ezemma with a game-high nine tackles and Dominique Anderson added eight total tackles and a fumble return (36 yards) for a touchdown.

Virginia Union took the opening possession of the game 72 yards (11 plays) that ended with a Kenneth Graham 1-yard quarterback sneak for six points. Stephen Valasquez added the extra point for a Panthers 7-0 lead at the 10 minutes mark of the first quarter.

Virginia Union used a little trickery to keep their second possession of the game alive following a fake punt by Joe Reynosa. VUU’s Richard Rodwell dove in for a 1-yard touchdown with 47 seconds left in the period, increasing the Panthers lead to 14-0.

Bulldogs redshirt sophomore quarterback Jared Johnston dodged and weaved 11 yards for Bowie State’s first points of the afternoon. Sophomore Mario Diaz-Aviles added the extra point, cutting the deficit to 14-7 at the 14:31 mark of the second quarter.

Corwin Acker pretty much walked in from 8-yards out with 8:52 left in the second to pull within one at 14-13. The score was setup by an interception and 15 yard return by Gary.

Virginia Union’s Terrence Malone scored on 3-yard run and the Valasquez extra point pushed the Panthers lead to 21-13 with 5:11 remaining in the first half. The Panthers scoring drive was setup after a 15-yard personal foul against Bowie State senior Bekwele Amadi. Amadi was ejected and Virginia Union took full advantage from that point. Kenneth Graham picked off a Johnston pass and returned it 36 yards for a Panthers touchdown. The point after attempt was no good, but the Panthers lead grew to 27-13.

A Valasquez 20 yard field goal with two ticks left on the Hovey Field clock, extending the Virginia Union lead to 30-13 heading into halftime.

Virginia Union’s Anderson recovered a Tyrae Reid, Jr. fumble and rumbled 36 yards to give the Panthers a comfortable 37-13 lead with 3:16 left in the third quarter.

BSU’s Gary picked off his second pass of the afternoon at the Virginia Union 22 yard line and returned it to the Panthers 3-yard line at the 1:11 mark of the third. However, the Panthers defense stopped the Bulldogs threat, as Andre Kates intercepted the Reid pass in the end zone for a touchback to begin the fourth quarter.

Bulldogs sophomore Olademeji Layeni recovered a Virginia Union fumble at the Panthers 21-yard line. Unfortunately, Bowie State came up empty again, turning the ball over to the Panthers on downs. Layeni ended the afternoon as Bowie State’s second leading tackler with seven to go along with two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

The Bulldogs travel to Lincoln University of Pennsylvania next Saturday (October 27th) to face the Lions in a 1:30 pm Homecoming game. Lincoln (PA) suffered a road loss as well, falling 23-3 to Virginia State.
