The Coach

Anson Dorrance

Head women's soccer coach at The University of North Carolina and former US Women's National Team head coach. In 1979, five years after graduating from UNC, Coach Dorrance became head coach of the UNC Tar Heels Women's Soccer Team. This women's soccer program he built would eventually be deemed the 6th most successful sports dynasty of the 20th century.
