INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Bowie State University's football team moved up one spot to 4th in the NCAA Super Region 2 poll released on Monday, October 29th. The top seven teams in each of the four Super Regions of the NCAA are invited to the Division II Playoffs. The Bulldogs defeated Lincoln (Pa.) University on the road last Saturday (10/27) to improve its season record to 7-2 overall (4-1 CIAA and 3-1 North) to remain in first place in the conference’s Northern Division. The CIAA Southern Division Champions of Fayetteville State University make its first appearance in the Super Region 2 Poll, coming in at #10.
Bowie State will play its regular season home finale this Saturday (November 3) hosting Elizabeth City State University for Senior Day / Military Appreciation Day at 1 p.m. Prior to the game, 23 Bulldog seniors will be recognized in a special ceremony beginning at 12:30 p.m.
