  • Author Avi Kom

Make a menu plan:

Making a menu plan is a great way to plan out your meals for the week. This can help you make healthier choices, avoid unhealthy snacks, and stay within your budget.

Shop for groceries in advance:

Shop for all of the ingredients you need for your weekly menu ahead of time. This will help you save time and money, as well as ensure you have all the healthy foods and snacks you need for the week.

Avoid processed foods:

Most processed foods are high in unhealthy fats, sugars, and artificial additives, so try to limit your intake of these whenever possible.

Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables:

Eating a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables each day is essential for maintaining a healthy weight and providing your body with the essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber it needs.

Avoid sugary drinks:

Sugary drinks, such as soft drinks and fruit juices, are full of empty calories and lack essential nutrients. Switching to water or low-calorie alternatives can help reduce your calorie intake and improve your health.

Choose healthier fats:

Not all fats are bad for you. Healthier fats like olive oil, avocado, and nuts can help you feel fuller for longer and provide your body with essential fatty acids.

Eat healthily when dining out:

Eating out doesn’t have to mean ruining your diet. Look for healthier alternatives on the menu and limit your intake of fatty and salty foods.

If you search to lose weight quickly, and efficiently, without sports and without self-starvation, you can check out our most popular diet: Exipure's, Ikaria lean belly juice, and Alpilean - you can find link to our website below...

Cut down on snacking:

Snacking between meals can be a great way to get in some extra nutrients, but it can also lead to overeating. Choose healthy snacks like nuts and fruit, and limit how often you snack.

Get active:

Getting regular exercise is essential for maintaining a healthy weight and keeping your body fit and healthy. Aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity each day.

Stay motivated:

Motivation is key when it comes to achieving any goal. Set short-term goals and reward yourself when you reach them. Getting support from friends and family can also be a great motivator!

Cut down on processed foods:

These are generally high in calories, salt, and fat, and contain few vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. Eating processed foods can also lead to overeating and weight gain.

Increase your intake of fruits and vegetables:

Fruits and vegetables are packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber that can help you feel fuller for longer, and also provide a wide range of health benefits.

Eat smaller portions:

Eating smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day can help you control your portions and keep your hunger in check.

Reduce your sugar intake:

Eating too much sugar can lead to cravings and weight gain, so try to cut down on added sugars, like those found in sodas and store-bought baked goods.

Swap out unhealthy snacks:

Instead of reaching for chips and candy, try snacking on healthier options like nuts, seeds, fruits, and vegetables.

Make sure to get enough protein:

Protein helps you feel full and can help reduce cravings, so make sure to include quality sources of protein like lean meats, fish, eggs, and tofu in your diet.

Drink plenty of water:

Staying hydrated is essential for overall health, and it can also help fill you up and reduce cravings.

Get plenty of sleep:

Sleep deprivation can lead to increased hunger and cravings, so make sure to get at least 7 to 8 hours of quality sleep every night.

Get regular exercise:

Regular physical activity helps to keep your metabolism humming and can help you burn extra calories for weight loss.

Track your progress:

Keeping track of what you eat and how much exercise you're getting can help you stay on track and adjust your diet if needed.

Todays' Devotional: Worship Is Good To The Last Drop!

Worship That Satisfies

Our ultimate fulfillment is found only in the presence of our heavenly Father.

April 19, 2023 From Intouch Ministries

Romans 1:21-32; Romans 2:1-4

Did you know the Lord created you to worship Him? Many people dedicate their life to worshiping money, popularity, accomplishment, or pleasure but ultimately still feel a vacuum of unfulfillment.

King Solomon observed this longing in mankind, writing that God “set eternity in [our] heart” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). And hundreds of years later, Jesus Himself confirmed this truth when He said, “Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life” (John 4:14). Why, you wonder? It’s all because the Lord wants a personal relationship with us.

Unfortunately, we often indulge in sin rather than worship God, and in the first chapter of Romans, Paul surveys the many lesser gods we settle for. He wanted the Romans to know that sin and false gods distract us from our eternal calling of communion with the Father. That’s why repentance is a critical practice in the believer’s life.

Remember, our heavenly Father designed us to find satisfaction in Him alone. And because of His great love for the whole world, He doesn’t want anyone to spend eternity without Him (2 Peter 3:9).

The Attack on Womanhood

Presented on US Sports Net by:

By Cooper Brown

At any point you find yourself browsing through social media, inevitably you will come across these new age individuals explaining the social changes of masculinity and men. Individuals such as the Tate brothers have become synonymous with this current trend of new influences. A lot of energy is spent in order to educate and help young men in combating these decade long trends distorting them as men. This is in fact justified.

There is no doubt that there have been many social changes that have impacted young men negatively, lowering their ambitions and even physiologically. However, these seem to be more blatantly obvious then any another, seemingly more dangerous erosion of western culture and that is the attack on Femininity and of women hood. The attacks against women seem far more subtle and are not nearly as described as much as then attacks of traditional masculinity. Leading far more to the destructive nature of current societies. The devastation is amplified by the lack of coverage or outright acknowledgement.

These trends are most applicable in several ways, the changing definitions of what makes a woman as well as the priorities women are taught to pursue.

The most modern wave a feminist have succeeded in thinking that the “male lifestyle” is responsible for the most amount of joy. This includes promiscuity and an obsession in the workforce. Often reinforced by major institutions and social media, have Millennial and Gen Z women falling for worldly pleasures.

We naturally put a lot of emphasis in our jobs as this is what we spend a huge portion of our lives involved in. While it can be a source of pride, it is but a small point of one's life and will not be the defining characteristics of it. Starting at a young age, girls are expected to prioritize their lives around a career. Modern polling has shown a record high of a majority of women are valuing careers over homemaking.

Similarly, marriage in general had been postponed by most women in order to focus on other aspects of life such as their careers and casual relationships. Currently, marriage rates are at their lowest point then they have been in modern history. And has been in recorded that less than 7 per 1000 people in the United States. Instead, pursuing a casual relationship with little regard for one's chastity.

This re adjustment in lifestyle breaks from the traditional norms women partake in. When left to their own devices, their decision making emulates a completely different lifestyle than men. Throughout all of the social advancement in society, women's general happiness has been declining. As women have been told to act in the primal nature of their male counterparts, the overall wellbeing of women has been decreasing, while levels of stress and anxiety have skyrocketed.

This is corrupted tremendously with the use of the internet and social media, where these lifestyles are promoted. Disproportionately affecting women and girls. Spending 3 or more hours per day with an average age of 14, young girls are being filtered by harmful content that promotes poor life choices. Leading to greater instances of depression, low self-esteem, and irregular daily patterns.

For men and women alike, neither of these acts promote long term happiness, and is a fallacy that men have adopted as well as women. As a man the most important duty one could take up is that of Fatherhood, Similarly, motherhood, is the most admirable and life fulfilling responsibilities as a woman. Falling for the pure naturalist tendencies of one's sex, will never lead to true happiness.

Another instance of the attacks against women are found within the very nature of transgenderism.

The concept of changing genders trivializes the very nature of womanhood. If being a woman is simply based on things you buy off of a shelf, then that devalues what you actually are as a person. This is highly insulting. Alteration of your hormones is trying to appease the simplest idea of the makeup of women. And yet, individuals in the Transgender community would have one believe that this is the case.

This growing trend of transgender individuals competing in women's athletics has many examples of ignoring the plight of real women in order to appease these fads. Individuals such as Jaycee Cooper, Cece Telfer, Wren Pryle and Lia Thomas, are just a few of the biological males that have committed in female athletics and have stolen major titles away from women.

Little has been done to fight back for fear of being labeled as hateful. Even from those this affects the most.

If left unresolved it will not be surprising if the entirety of female sports will be dominated by biological males. Ruining countless opportunities for real women in the name of inclusivity.

Virtuous women are one of the most important characteristics of a healthy thriving society. While many have attempted to discuss men and their various battles, little has been done to educate women on their situations that I would argue come with greater consequences.

There is a silent war raged against traditional femininity. With essentially no coverage, this has allowed the methodical erosion and amnesia, about what is a woman. Disrupting where one's value stems from. Your individual virtues, the ability to bear children and have an emotional connection that men can never have, links the magical nature inherent in most women. Men and women, when left to their baseline natural urges, are inherently flawed. But when combined and accepting of their characteristics of masculine and feminine, transcend into the most important asset to any civilization.

The destruction of womanhood has decimated the culture of the western world. With no one speaking out on its accuser, it will surely mean the fall of our civilization.

Today's Devotional: Hospitality Sweet

Sunday Reflection: The Beauty of Hospitality

Helping others feel included demonstrates the love of Christ. From Intouch Ministries

April 16, 2023

To get the most out of this devotion, set aside time to read the scriptures referenced throughout.

Throughout Scripture, the Lord makes it clear that hospitality is a requirement, not a request. We’re called to graciously welcome people (Romans 12:10-13). But hospitality is more than entertaining guests. It’s a way of living and interacting with those around us all year long, making a way to accommodate them when they show up. It’s about letting them know they belong—not only in our homes but also in our communities.

Our overtures need not be extravagant—we just have to be willing to give freely, often in small ways. This kindness and warmth are made evident in the little things we do to make others feel comfortable, but sometimes doing so requires inconvenience, surrender, or even sacrifice. However, being the hands and feet of Jesus to others is worth any cost we might experience.

God’s love for all that He’s made is a beautiful example of hospitality. He welcomes creation into existence and sustains all living creatures. And when we extend hospitality to others, we can delight in the opportunity to reflect this love.

Think about it

• Who in your life would be especially blessed by a generous welcome or act of kindness?

Today's Devotional: Mornings With The Father

Seek the Lord Early

Starting each morning with the Lord can change the trajectory of your day. From InTouch Ministries

April 15, 2023

Psalm 63:1-8

Any time of the day is a great time to be with the Lord, but the morning is special because it can affect the remainder of the day. Psalm 63 reveals that David began his day with the Lord, as he described seeking God early (the literal translation of “shall be watching”). He woke up hungry for His Creator, filled his yearning soul with the fullness of the Lord, and broke out in thanksgiving and praise to Him. And when night eventually came and David was lying in bed, he was still thinking about His heavenly Father.

Just imagine having a day like David’s, filled with joy and gratitude to God. Of course, all time with the Lord is precious. But when we set apart the beginning of our day—to hear God speak through His Word, to talk with Him in prayer, to contemplate who He is and how He works—we have the opportunity to continue that mindset throughout the day and into the night.

Do you find it a struggle to spend time with the Lord? Lifelong habits begin with baby steps, not grand resolutions. Set aside five minutes tomorrow morning, and see how the Lord nourishes your soul and increases your hunger for Him.
