“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high” (Hebrews 1:3).
Most people still see God in
the context of the Old Testament—an angry God ready to punish and
curse. However, Jesus Christ is the mirror image of God as He relates to
us now, after the cross; He is ready to show us His love, mercy, and
grace.
