“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3).
When we rely on our
self-efforts to do the right thing but miss the mark anyway,
condemnation and guilt work their way into our souls and sit at the base
of our lives, ruling us like tyrants. Relying on Jesus and accepting
His grace frees us from that.
