“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace” (Romans 6:14).
Under the law, the people
were constantly reminded of their sins and shortcomings. Living under
God’s unearned, undeserved favor frees us from that mindset and allows
us to focus on Jesus, instead.
