“Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye” (Mark 7:13).
God
wants to influence the course of our lives, but He is unable to do so
if we put religious tradition ahead of the Word of truth. Tradition
often contradicts the Word; those who follow it neutralize the effect
God can have on everything concerning us.
