process. This manual will help guide you through the process and

realizing your dream of playing college baseball or softball.

The Coach

Andy Pohl

Andy Pohl is currently the Head Baseball Coach at Beachwood High School (Beachwood, OH). He has over fifteen years of varsity coaching experience, serving previously as Head Baseball Coach at Walter Payton College Prep (Chicago) and Newbury HS (Newbury, OH).  As Head Baseball Coach at Walter Payton College Prep, Andy directed the program to three consecutive Class 3A Regional Championships (2009, 2010, 2011), as well as a City Semi-Finalist appearance at Wrigley Field in 2010.  As an Assistant at Jones College Prep (Chicago), Andy helped lead that program to two consecutive Class 3A Regional Championships (2012, 2013).
Andy is a licensed school administrator in the State of Ohio and Illinois.  He has a Masters in Secondary Education from DePaul University and a Masters in Education Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University. He authored the Handbook for Athletics in Catholic Elementary School, a fifty-page document that currently serves as the athletic policy manual for the Archdiocese of Chicago. 
Andy has extensive experience with hitting and pitching development of all age groups.  He also has worked with individual athletes, teams, and organizations teaching the correct mental approach to skill development, training, and competition. Book this course....
