INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Bowie State University's football team is ranked 5th in the first NCAA Super Region 2 poll released on Monday, October 22. The top eight teams in each of the four Super Regions of the NCAA are invited to the Division II Playoffs.

Bowie State will make its final regular season road trip this Saturday (October 27^th) traveling to Lincoln (Pa.) University for a 1 p.m. kickoff and will wrap up the regular season at home (Saturday, November 3^rd), hosting Elizabeth City State University at 1 p.m..

The Virginia Union University Panthers are the only other CIAA institution currently ranked (#8) in Super Region 2.
